Big Idea
The argument in one line.
Turning pro on YouTube means deciding to run your channel like a show with a clear position, promise and offer, so the algorithm serves you and buyers decide long before they reach your sales page.
Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
A coach, therapist, designer or other service expert with years in your field who wants YouTube to bring in clients instead of posting daily on Instagram.
You already upload but keep choosing safe titles and safe premises because you are afraid the video will flop.
You feel pulled to chase whatever the algorithm rewards and want a way to stay on-message without losing reach.
You have little or nothing to sell yet and want to know whether starting a channel now still makes sense.
You feel uneasy saying you want to make a lot of money and suspect it is holding your business back.
SKIP IF…
You want tactical YouTube mechanics like retention graphs, thumbnail testing or upload schedules; this session stays at the mindset and business-model level.
You run a faceless channel; the host admits she has no direct experience with that format.
You dislike sales pitches; roughly the last third of the session is an invitation to a paid four-week program.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
Amateurs upload and hope; pros make a deliberate choice to run their channel like a small television show. Five shifts get you there: commit instead of hoping, position yourself on purpose so viewers recognize your face and topic, make a clear promise in every video, give the whole channel one deeper offer, and speak to a single person instead of an imagined million. The algorithm is your servant, not your boss. On the money side, a business needs only something people want to buy and traffic sent to it. YouTube handles attracting, nurturing and selling, and because viewers decide to buy after a couple hours of your videos, the journey before the landing page matters far more than the page itself.

Live-chat welcomes, a recap of the five-day YouTube Breakthrough Challenge, and the promise of five ways to turn pro plus a monetization section.
02:50 – 04:44
02 · Turning Pro means facing fear
Reads from Pressfield's Turning Pro. Fear rarely stops posting outright; it makes creators pick safe titles and premises.
04:44 – 07:03
03 · Shift 1: Make the choice
Treat the channel like starting a TV show. Amateurs say 'I hope this works'; pros commit. 'Abandon all hope' because skill replaces it.
07:03 – 10:39
04 · Shift 2: Intentional positioning
Viewers should recognize your face and topic in the feed. The algorithm is your servant; tell it who you are instead of dancing for it like on Instagram.
10:39 – 11:58
05 · Shift 3: Premise and promise
Audit recent uploads for the promise each one makes and whether your audience actually wants it.
11:58 – 15:02
06 · Shift 4: A clear offer for the whole channel
Every channel needs a deeper offer, illustrated by a rock-and-roll real estate agent. Integrity over view-chasing; niche low-view videos can be the top earners.
15:02 – 16:53
07 · Shift 5: Comfort on camera
Beyond practice, talk to one person, not to 'YouTube' or an imagined two million viewers.
16:53 – 20:43
08 · Live Q&A: human design, credibility, faceless
Human design labels can become self-limiting. Build on topics you have years in. Faceless can work but showing your face is easier.
20:43 – 25:18
09 · Money mindset
First mention of the immersion, then a pep talk: say 'I want to make lots of money' out loud and notice how it feels. Money hang-ups cap revenue.
25:18 – 28:55
10 · The two key things and the business machine
Have something people want to buy and send traffic to it. Four components: interested people, nurture, sell, deliver. YouTube covers the first three; start a channel before you have a product.
28:55 – 34:01
11 · Mind the journey before the website
The 'Top Gun' stance, then the conversion secret: buyers decide over about two hours of videos, so the landing page barely matters. Videos are slices of a desirable little universe.
Future business offers, the email list, whether a healing coach can add tarot (test it against the deeper offer), call lengths, and sign-off.
Atomic Insights
Lines worth screenshotting.
Fear rarely stops experienced creators from posting; it shows up instead as safe titles, safe premises and videos that say nothing.
Treat a business YouTube channel like starting a small television show, and decide you are doing it rather than hoping it works.
You do not need hope on YouTube if you have the skills; hope is what fills the gap where skill should be.
Intentional positioning means a viewer scrolling the feed recognizes your face and instantly knows what you are about, even if they forget your name.
On YouTube you tell the algorithm who you are; on Instagram you have to dance for it with five posts a day.
Audit your last few uploads by asking one question: what exactly did this video promise, and does my person want that?
Every channel needs one deeper offer that sits under all its videos, and anything that does not fit it drains the channel.
Some of the highest-revenue videos on a channel have modest view counts, because a niche topic attracts a higher-quality buyer.
Chasing views with emotional, off-topic content can work for reach but leaves you with an audience that will never buy.
To get comfortable on camera, stop picturing millions of viewers and talk to one person at a time.
If you cannot say 'I want to make lots of money' without feeling dirty, that hang-up is costing you revenue.
A profitable online business needs two things: something people want to buy, and traffic sent to that thing.
YouTube can do the first three jobs of a business on its own: attract interested people, nurture them and sell to them.
Most people decide to buy before they ever reach your landing page, so an ugly page can still sell if the videos did the work.
Roughly two hours of binge-watching your videos can do the trust-building that the industry pegs at seven hours of contact.
One video that took about an hour to make, editing included, pulled over 400,000 views and around 30,000 email signups.
Start a channel before you have a product, so that when you do have something to sell there is already an audience waiting.
Before adding a new topic to your channel, check whether it serves the channel's deeper offer; if it passes, test it and do not take a miss personally.
Takeaway
Run your channel like a show, not a hope.
TURNING PRO
Pros commit, position themselves on purpose and build trust through videos, so the algorithm and the eventual sale follow from clarity rather than luck.
02Turning Pro means facing fear
Fear usually does not stop experienced creators from uploading; it quietly pushes them toward safe titles and premises that say nothing new.
Name the fear directly before planning content, because the safe choices it produces look like strategy but are really avoidance.
03Shift 1: Make the choice
Decide you are running a small television show for your business, and drop the 'I hope this works' framing that amateurs carry.
Replace hope with skill: learning titling, premise and positioning removes the need to cross your fingers on every upload.
04Shift 2: Intentional positioning
Position yourself so a viewer scrolling the feed recognizes your face and instantly connects it with one area of expertise.
Tell the algorithm who you are by staying consistent on topic, rather than reshaping yourself around whatever it seems to reward.
05Shift 3: Premise and promise
Review your last few uploads and write down the exact promise each one makes, then ask whether your ideal viewer actually wants it.
A sharper promise per video grows a channel faster than more uploads, because it gives viewers a concrete reason to click and stay.
06Shift 4: A clear offer for the whole channel
Define one deeper offer for the whole channel, the overarching benefit every video delivers, and use it to judge new topic ideas.
Judge videos by the buyers they attract, not views alone, since a niche video with modest views can outsell a viral one.
07Shift 5: Comfort on camera
Picture one specific viewer while recording instead of an imagined million, which lowers fear and makes delivery sound natural.
08Live Q&A: human design, credibility, faceless
Build your channel on a subject you have studied for years; credibility comes from depth of experience, not a diploma on the wall.
Treat personality systems and labels with caution when they start telling you what you cannot do, such as plan or commit.
09Money mindset
Say 'I want to make lots of money' out loud and notice the reaction, since unexamined guilt about money quietly caps what you charge and sell.
10The two key things and the business machine
Reduce the business to two jobs, an offer people want and traffic sent to it, to cut through tactic and software overwhelm.
Let YouTube attract, nurture and sell, then deliver however suits you: coaching, cohorts, retreats or digital products.
Start building an audience before your product exists so that when you launch, buyers are already watching and you skip cold outreach.
11Mind the journey before the website
Put effort into the viewing journey rather than landing-page tweaks, because most buyers decide after about two hours of your videos.
Make each video feel like a slice of a world your audience wants to live in, so the channel itself becomes the sales experience.
13Closing Q&A
Before adding a new topic, check it against the channel's deeper offer; if it fits, test it and do not take a miss personally.

Hey, everybody. Welcome to today's live session. I'm so excited to teach you how to turn pro on YouTube today.
I just wrapped the five -day YouTube breakthrough challenge, and I'm sure there's going to be some glitter -covered aliens in the comment section talking about the wild experience we just had. Man, it was a ride. Every time I do the breakthrough challenge, I get this surge of inspiration and motivation and energy.
because it's always filled with the coolest people in the entire world. There were hypnotists, there were pleasure coaches, there were all kinds of glitter covered in book, book experts. Of course, people who are like book doulas.
There were actual death doulas in the house. There were psychic mediums. There were property real estate managements.
There were all kinds of people. Tranquils in the house and saying it was amazing. I'm so glad that you liked it, Tranquil Teacher.
So glad you liked it. And let me know anybody else who's filing in. Let me know where you're coming in from.
And also let me know if you're a challenge alum, if you did the Breakthrough Challenge and you loved it. And also let everybody know in the comments so that next time I have the challenge, everybody knows it's legit. Okay.
So today's live session, I wanted to teach you how to turn pro on YouTube because, okay, here's the deal. When I do the Breakthrough Challenge, there's so many people who came.
There were hundreds of people who came, but then there's a lot of people who just couldn't fit it into their schedule. And every time I do the challenge, I'm always like, man, I want to just teach a little bit of this to those who couldn't join. So today I'm going to share some things that people actually didn't hear at the challenge.
So if you were at the challenge, you didn't hear this stuff, you're going to love this. But I'm also going to be sharing some things from day four of the challenge, which was monetization day. So I'm going to teach you the five biggest ways to turn pro on YouTube that nobody has heard me talk about before.
And I'm going to give you my honest take as a 16 -year online business veteran and somebody who's been doing YouTube for a long time. I'm going to give you the five simple tips. This is my copywriting coming through, but I really do mean this.
These are five simple tips. They're not necessarily easy. They take some practice, but these are five tips that are going to help you to actually turn pro on YouTube.
And then part two of this live is going to be talking about monetization because in my world, what I'm teaching people is how to get rich inside and out. So I'm teaching business owners how to grow their business. We've got people from Brazil.
Coming from Chicago, coming from Austin. Good to see you, everybody. Thanks for coming in.
So let's start really quick with if anybody hasn't heard of the book Turning Pro by Steven Pressfield. I'm going to just read a little bit from this book. I totally jacked this title.
I totally stole it because it's like one of the all time greatest book titles ever. And so if you haven't gotten this book, please do get it because turning pro is a lot of an inner stance. I'm going to give you some strategy.
And by the end of this session, you're going to have a much better grasp and a clearer idea of how I approach YouTube and how most professionals that you see on YouTube, how we pros on YouTube, how we approach it. But it's really important for me to just let's set the tone with Steven Pressfield. He says, before we turn pro, our life is dominated by fear and resistance.
We live in a state of denial. We're denying the voice in our head. We're denying our calling.
We're denying who we really are. We're fleeing from our fear into an addiction or a shadow career. What changes when we turn pro is we stop fleeing.
When we turn pro, we stop running from our fears. We turn around and face them.
There's also a poem in here that really quick, two sentences. It says, be brave, my heart. Plant your feet and square your shoulders to the enemy.
Meet him along the man killing spears. Hold your ground. So let's face our fears, everybody.
Part of the YouTube Breakthrough Challenge with every glitter -covered alien was really, I opened the whole thing by telling everybody, you will be afraid. You will have a gremlin. It will make lots of noise.
And that's something that... some business owners have already gotten out there and started your YouTube channel. So perhaps the fear hasn't gotten you to stop posting, but the fear gets in there and it really mucks up the way you show up on your channel.
You start picking safe titles. You're picking safe premises. You're not really giving much thought to what you actually want to say.
You're trying to be safe because, oh my God, I hope they like it. So let me jump in without further ado. Let me jump into the five mindset shifts.
that I want you to keep in mind going forward for your YouTube channel to help you to turn pro. I wrote all these on my morning pages today. So my morning pages were very rich today.
No more being safe. Exactly. Exactly.
And Shauna loves that book. I think every business owner needs to read this book. So I read this book about six years ago, as well as The War of Art.
And Steven Pressfield just never disappoints. Never disappoints. Okay.
No more being safe. I'm with you, Ms. Helena.
No more being safe. Okay. So let's start with number one.
I am going to be looking at my notes today. This morning pages session, I was so rich with ideas after coming off that five -day challenge. I was like, man, I've got so much to teach about.
So these are based off of the things that I've noticed after every time I work with the hundreds of business owners who do the challenge, I can see some patterns. And so let's go into the number one thing. the number one thing is to make the choice.
So professional YouTube, it requires that you make the choice that you're going to do this. It's a lot like starting a television show. So if you're going to start a little television show on YouTube to promote your business, you have to make the choice.
Okay. So what a lot of amateurs do is they say, I hope this works. But I want you all to understand when you start pushing that upload button, I promise you after doing this for 16 years, I seen it time and time again, my colleagues who have made the choice to treat this like, you know, like seriously, when you step to the YouTube game with that, with that energy and you make the choice and you say, Hey world, I miss Helena.
Hey world. I'm tranquil teacher. Hey world.
I'm Terry. Hey world. I'm Leo.
You know, It makes a huge difference. So make the choice.
No more hope. One of my favorite phrases that I heard from a beautiful coach named John Patrick Morgan. He's really good.
I like the way he shows up. He says, abandon all hope. And I say that too, because with the YouTube game, we don't need hope.
You don't ever need hope if you know the skills. And that's kind of why I like teaching about the skills. Okay.
Number two is position. Okay. Hey, Nicole.
Welcome in, Nicole. Number two, this mindset shift is really important. So how many of you, as you're watching the replay, a lot of people are probably going to catch the replay of this.
For those of you who are here, please let me know in the chat. How many of you would like to, when people see your face on YouTube and they're scrolling through the feed, they see your face and they automatically know what you're about. They're like, oh, they see your face and they're like, oh, there's that.
There's that relationship coach. There's that relationship expert, or there's that therapist that I really like, or, you know, when they see your face, when they used to see my face, they would think, oh, there's that health and fitness person. I'm going to watch your video.
Sometimes they don't necessarily remember your name, but they remember your face, you know? So yeah, amateurs keep looking for the hack and pros just get to work and become a student of the game. That's right, Anna.
Yeah, Anna, that's exactly right. That's exactly right. And going to this position point, if you want people to see your face like Anna, when people see Anna's face, we want them to automatically associate with her expertise, with what she wants to be known for.
And that's called intentional positioning. So if you've heard the word positioning, that is actually one of my all -time favorite benefits of having my business promoted primarily through YouTube. Because I get to actually, and you as a business owner, you get to actually control how you show up and how people interact with you and the facets of you that you want to really shine into the world.
That's your position. Amateurs, they hope the algorithm will show them who they are. And also, amateur YouTube lets the algorithm kind of put you where it wants to put you, you know?
So I'm going to give a, for instance, this is a funny, for instance, but as you guys have noticed, I teach about YouTube, but I'm not like only teaching about YouTube. I hope you've noticed it on my channel, though. I love teaching about YouTube and it's an aspect of my business.
And YouTube seems to like, when I teach about YouTube, I don't need to tap dance for like what makes YouTube happy. I'm doing what makes me happy and I'm doing what, what is authentic to me. And that helps me to really.
build my business in a way that I love. So I'm not tap dancing for the algorithm. I'm letting the algorithm know who I am.
So here's a secret, everybody. Hopefully you can write this down because this is pro -level YouTube stuff. The algorithm is your servant and YouTube is your servant.
You're not a servant to YouTube and you're not a servant to the algorithm. So that energetic shift right there, I hope that really sets you free. This is especially hard to learn if you're used to posting to Instagram, because on Instagram, you don't have this choice.
You have to be a slave to the algorithm. On Instagram, the only way to succeed is to post five things a day and to be real loud and highlighter yellow. But on YouTube, you can be exactly who you want to be.
And the algorithm on YouTube is phenomenal. It has been for 16 years and it continues to get better. That's just my own personal take on it.
And so we harness the power of the YouTube algorithm by maintaining integrity with what do you want to talk about? How do you want the algorithm to interface with your work? The algorithm is your slave.
It's your servant. Okay. So you tell the algorithm how you want people to see you.
And that's professional level YouTube stuff. Number three. is to have a really clear grasp on premise slash promise.
So pro YouTubers, to really turn pro, part of what I taught everybody in the challenge, we had a whole framework for five days, five deep days of me helping people to understand how to make good promises with your videos. So I want you to take a look at your last couple uploads, and I want you to ask, what's the promise you made there?
And if you start making juicy promises in your videos, as in what it's What is the promise? What are they going to get when they watch it?
I promise your channel will succeed and it will grow a lot faster than if you don't. So amateurs, they're not really sure about the promise that they're making. And this is a little oopsie because they don't teach you how to do this stuff in school.
And I've been doing this for 16 years. So it took me a little while to really get this. And then once I started getting it.
my videos are my videos have been consistently successful for 16 years because i have a really strong grasp on how to do a premise prompt sash promise okay so hopefully that makes sense look at your last couple videos and ask what is the promise to these videos and does your person want to want that promise right number four is to have a clear offer with your entire channel Okay.
So I'd love to, I'd love to hear in the chat, everybody let me know in the chat, what's the promise or what's the deeper offer of your overarching channel? Like if you had to kind of pin it into. a beautiful sentence.
What's a deeper offer there? So for instance, if you're a real estate agent, you might have a deeper offer. I have a friend named Sunny and she's a real estate Sherpa here in Austin.
She's covered in tattoos and she's always on her Harley. She's got a Harley Davidson and she's one of the coolest chicks you'll ever meet. And the deeper offer.
in all of her stuff is that she, she's not just going to sell you a house. She's going to give you like a rock and roll experience. So she's like one of the, one of these coolest real estate agents you'll ever see.
And so with that, the, also the deeper offer there is you get like genuine real, you can just feel her sincerity. She's not just about sales. She's about authenticity and fun.
She's so much fun. Um, she also will bake her clients like the funnest, like weirdest desserts when they sign the contract. Um, yeah.
Yeehaw. Right. Um, Pineview Acres.
This is an interior designer, I believe. I think if I remember correctly. I feel this, Brenda.
Even as a new creator, I feel pressure to please rather than create. I'm staying true to my vision, but it's a struggle while working full -time as a designer. I was right that it was a designer.
And yeah, that's exactly right. So I want you to just really keep in mind what I'm saying. So YouTube is our servant and the algorithm is our servant.
Okay. And your only job. your only job really is to help the people who are coming to your channel and really the only way for us to do that truly is to you know what is it like as a professional designer who's got many years of experience you know what's best for the clients the algorithm if we just leave it to the algorithm we could cry on our kitchen floor eating a bag of Taco Bell chalupas or something, crying our eyes out about our last breakup and get plenty of views, you know, but it's like to what end?
So we maintain integrity and our people will find us. And if I could give you guys another bonus, some of my all -time top converting videos, meaning the ones that led to so much sales, consistent sales, some of my largest revenue generating videos didn't have that many views. So some of my largest videos, though they did attract lots of subscribers and all of that, and maybe some leads and did lead to some sales.
Sometimes you never know your most niche down little design video. It might end up attracting a much higher quality customer because they're like into that super niche thing. Okay.
So that's, that's number four. And then number five, number five, a comfortable. and intentional kind of way of interfacing with the whole thing.
So professional YouTubers are really comfortable and that's a lot about practice, but it's also about the mindset shift. So I'm going to give you a quick tip before I jump into the monetization part of this training. So quick tip, if you want to be really comfortable and intentional in front of the camera, instead of being really stiff and kind of locked into fear, aside from practice, because practice is going to, it's going to get better with time.
Another tip I like to offer is you're going to talk to just one person. And I've talked a little bit about that on my channel, but I want you to just keep in mind, you really are just talking to one person. So just like I'm talking to you right now, and I really am only talking to you.
And I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm just talking to you though. We are in a group, but I'm talking to you. So you're just talking to that one person.
Okay. And that way you're not, you're What amateur YouTube, when you're first starting out and you're kind of uncertain about it, the problem that I see a lot of my clients have is they're thinking of the whole big thing as like YouTube as in a concept and they want to grow their YouTube channel.
So I have to tell you, I'm here to help you to grow your YouTube channel today because that's the language we put to it. But I want you to make sure when you're creating your videos that you get out of the concept of. I'm creating a video that will maybe get seen by millions of people or whatever, because like I started this whole thing with the fear gets in there and there's lots of fear for most of us, myself included.
If I had an idea before I started every video that this might get 2 million views, or if I was thinking about that, it would really have helped me back the past 16 years. So you're just making one video at a time for one person at a time so that you can speak naturally in front of the camera. Okay.
So let me see here. We've got some people adding to the conversation. Are you familiar with human design?
If so, do you think aligning our business and YouTube strategy with our design makes a difference? That's an interesting question. So I actually have worked with a multitude of...
coaches who employ human design tools into their thing. And I've actually really loved all of those people and have a deep respect for their craft and studying human design. And I can only speak from my direct experience and what I know about human design.
So I'm not a human design expert, but I'm well versed enough on it to say that I think it can be a little bit limiting because, for instance, the manifesting generators. You know, they have a certain thing where it's like they need to do things a certain way. And then there's like the, you know, each one, each category has a certain set of rules that it needs to abide by.
And what I've noticed in my clients is they'll say things like that are very self -limiting. They'll say, for instance, I'm a manifesting generator, so I can't plan because it really restricts me. And I think when we get into using.
that kind of stuff to, if it's putting any limits on you whatsoever, I think you can start to adopt a way of thinking about yourself where you could be limiting your potential. And then I told that client, you know, she, and then she like worked up my thing and I'm a manifesting generator as well, but I'm really good at planning.
And, you know, so. If it helps you and it serves you, that's great. But I've noticed sometimes the human design stuff can start to create mental blocks that are not necessary.
And we're kind of pathologizing things and picking things apart. I'm sure that there will be a human design expert or two in the comments who can give you a helpful kind of take on it. I find it to be, I find it to be the, I find most of the time those labels, those labels don't really serve me all that well because I.
I find the most powerful way for me to do the work is to actually let go of thinking and labels and constructs and go into the direct experience of just doing the work. So that's kind of how I approach it. But once again, the human design experts, there's plenty of them that do really good work and who I'm a huge fan of.
How did you get through that, through building? What do I talk about, make this video about? Do I even have credibility on this topic?
Questions. That's a really good question, Ali. Yeah, that's a really good question.
So I really encourage everybody, the people that I work with, that you're building your business and your YouTube channel on things that you feel really certain about, that you have at least some experience with. So at the YouTube Breakthrough Challenge, I asked everybody, how many years have you been studying the thing?
And most people have been studying the thing for like five years, 10 years, 20 years. You don't have to have a diploma on your wall for every single accomplishment that you've got, but I do recommend you take on something for your channel that you're really well versed in, that it's just like, you know, like the back of your hand.
Any advice for faceless channels? Yeah, I don't, I don't think it's really, I know that there are some faceless channel, for instance, banging with Babish. He was a cooking channel.
He didn't show his face for years. So I know it can work, but by and large. I guess it depends on the topic, but by and large, I think it's much easier to put your face in there.
I don't have any direct experience with faceless channels and none of my clients have been faceless channels. So that's about all I have to say on the topic. It's much better to show your face by and large.
Let's see here. will six month immersion be next year? Oh, okay.
So that, that actually brings me to the next part of this training. So we're actually, I actually have a four week immersion that's coming up November 9th, everybody. So during the challenge, how I do this, how I do my immersions is I have a challenge and then there's hundreds of people already in the challenge that have already kind of gotten a headstart or whatever.
And they've decided to work with me in that challenge. And then I usually like to give them an invitation to keep the momentum going. And then I, I, you know, I invite the people in the challenge.
So there's, there's a lot of people who joined from the challenge in this four week immersion I have coming up. But then also I do like to have like, I've got like, you know, the ninth is really close. So then I'll have a couple days where I'm just putting it out there on this little live and my lives, you know, they're, they're nice and intimate.
So if you want to join me for a four week immersion, I'll put a little link. It's in the description bar and it's also at brendaturner .com slash YTI for YouTube immersion. So that's a four week immersion starting November 9th and it's going to the 11th of December and all the dates are on that page.
And that's actually what I'm going to jump into. I'm going to let you guys know a couple details about that. But so that first part of this live was a lot about the mindset stuff and all those points that I just gave you, they're going to go a long way.
But now when it comes to my. little pocket of the internet and like my little pocket of teaching online business another part of turning pro is to um to actually get profitable with your youtube channel so we're going to talk a little bit about monetization because the money part's really important there was a really interesting exchange at the challenge where one of the beautiful members came up and he was like so i want to ask about money and then we started talking a little bit about money And then I went on to like answer the question.
I'm like, so basically you want to learn how to make lots of money, right? And I said it just like that. And he was like, well, the work is really, the work is, I really want to create an impact.
And he got really weird about the money stuff. And he just had like, I could tell he had hangups about money. I said, do you have hangups about money, huh?
And he's like, yeah. So before I give you the exact strategies for YouTube profits, I want you to really understand that. The money stuff, those money hangups, if you can't comfortably say, I really want to make lots of money without feeling dirty in here.
And this is something I actually struggled with a little bit in the first half of my business. There was like, I was at odds with myself. I was making good money.
I probably could have made way more money if I wasn't so hung up about money. But if you could type in the chat, I'd love to hear if you could type in the chat how you feel about like before you type it in the chat, I want you to say to yourself, I want to make lots of money.
So say it out loud to yourself as you're watching the replay and also say it out loud as you're sitting here with me now, just say it out loud before you type anything in the chat. I want to make lots of money. And then let me know how that made you feel.
So when I say, I want to make lots of money.
Right now at this stage in my life, after 16 years, I have the wealth consciousness to say that and have only just like a nice, easy, light feeling. It feels like white cotton sheets and a breeze. It's just like, I want to make lots of money.
Of course I do because I want to help lots of people. Do you know? So let me know how that made you feel to say, I want to make lots of money.
Let me know how it made you feel in your body. Just something to think about. Now, I want you to make sure that you maintain a sense of just lightness and joy about making money in the world because you're an expert in your field and you're going to be helping lots of people and you deserve to make lots of money, okay?
It feels possible and exciting. Yes, Gabrielle, absolutely. It feels possible and exciting.
Let's all keep that in mind. I think that's a really good North Star for just how money can feel exciting. The possibility is what can we do with the money?
When good people like you have money, the world is a much better place because you tend to do good things with it, okay? So now let's talk about money. I had to do that little pep talk about let's not be guilty about wanting to make lots of money because you deserve it.
So the two things about turning pro on YouTube in terms of making lots of money and building up your business, the two things is to get something that people want to buy. And most of you here have already had customers in real life. And if you haven't, don't worry about it.
And if you're just starting your business, your online business, don't worry about that first part because I'm going to show you a magic trick with YouTube. And the second thing to focus on is sending traffic to said thing. So there are tons of online business gurus, and I'm not throwing any shade to anybody.
I know from working with all my clients that it can feel overwhelming. There's all kinds of tactics, all kinds of softwares, all kinds of gimmicks and doodads. And I just want you to write this down.
If you just have something people want to buy and you send traffic to that thing, your business will grow. And by the way, this is something I taught on day four of the breakthrough challenge. So some people are seeing this again, but this is such an important training.
And it's also part of like the invitation for my immersion, but whether or not you join me, I want you to know that you're going to learn a lot about how to make money on YouTube from the following, like the next like 10 minutes. Okay. So this is it.
And then from there, the business bread machine. That is what we're doing here. We're building an online business bread machine.
The bread machine that you can build with YouTube and having a good offer, it looks a little bit like this. Here's the components of the bread machine. There's four things that we need to focus on, okay?
And we can do these lots of different ways, but this is the four main things. Getting people who are interested in your thing, nurturing those people. which is kind of what I do with you guys on my YouTube channel with my videos and what you're going to be doing with your clients.
Number three is selling helpful stuff. And then number four is delivering that stuff. So I like the top three areas.
I like to use YouTube for all that stuff. Now here's where like the online business gurus who, again, all love to the business gurus, but. I've heard some crazy things.
Like I've heard from a client in my last semester, she was telling me her business coach told her to post every day to Instagram and she tried doing it for four months and she said her nervous system was so shot because of course it is, you know, of course your nervous system is going to be shot after trying to post to social media every day or cold DMs or all that stuff.
I don't do any of that stuff. So how I like to do this is I use YouTube for all the top three things. And then I deliver nice little semesters or digital products that really help to transform people's lives and businesses.
And whatever your kind of delivery method, it's kind of up to you. You could do one -to -one coaching. You could do retreats.
You can do your own immersions. You can do semesters. You can do digital offerings.
The sky's really the limit if you do the first three things the correct way. Now, here's the magic trick. If you don't have something that's currently selling yet, or you're not yet sure about your product or service, it's still a really smart move to start a YouTube channel so that you can actually build an audience of people so that let's say next month or let's say in January, like now would be a really good time to start really focusing on building your YouTube channel so that when you have something that you want to sell, you actually have somebody to sell it to and you don't have to do things like get in the cold DMs and go out there looking for customers because they'll be on your YouTube channel.
begging you for whatever you have to sell, okay? Now's the time before 2027 starts. So YouTube is the answer to the top three.
I've never bought an ad. Just as an aside, I haven't ever bought an ad. Not like I'm saying that's a good or bad thing for you if you buy ads, but I haven't had to buy ads.
I don't ever take sales calls and I don't get into DMs. I just focus on posting good videos, okay? And so when you have the skills, I was I get such a kick out of showing this to people.
But this is kind of the vibe. You know, if you haven't let's forget about Tom Cruise being a Scientology person. Forget about let's just sweep that under the rug.
Pretend like Tom Cruise isn't a Scientology person. Do you guys remember Tom Cruise and Top Gun? I mean, it was a little bit before my time, but even still, I love Tom Cruise and Top Gun.
This is kind of the stance that we want to take with the whole thing. And then you're kind of like the cool kid on the block. So now I'm going to tell you how to increase sales on your website.
So we've got all kinds of beautiful business owners in the house. We have interior designers. We've got ADHD coaches.
We have therapists in the house. We have hypnosis. We have Spanish.
We have Spanish coaches. We've got Sunny and Spanish. If you haven't checked out Sunny and Spanish, please go do that.
And she loved the challenge. Everybody loved the challenge. But yeah, so part of the challenge was I was teaching people what I'm teaching you here on day four.
And it's, this is the part where I was like, how, how many of you, and let me know in the chat, everybody, how would you like to have a 1000 % increased conversions on your website? Meaning when people go to your website, like in January, when you launch your new thing, that you get a whole burst of sales.
Let me know. Let me know in the chat. I'll let you know.
If I get a couple like emojis, I'll let you know how to have an increase of 1000 % conversions on your website. Okay, cool. Okay, Sunny's like, I do.
Okay, cool. Thanks, Sunny. That would be amazing.
Okay, cool, Angela. Okay, here it is. So we have to mind the journey before they arrive to your website.
OK, so a lot of people think that there's some magic formula for landing pages. Those videos always do really well on YouTube. Those those videos that are like, here's the magic landing page formula to really like optimize sales.
But the truth is, most people will decide whether or not they're going to buy from you way before they hit your landing page. And even better, they'll decide when they want to buy from you when they've seen a couple of your videos. It doesn't take all that many.
The industry standard, it's something like seven hours with a person to get to that buying choice. But if you think about it, that's really only like a couple of binge sessions on your channel and it could be way less than that. So in my personal opinion, I think the actual number, if we're talking about YouTube videos, it's probably more like two hours.
So posting just like, if you have a grid of maybe six videos that are really banging, that really helps somebody, They're kind of deciding to buy from you way before they land on your landing page. And you could have like the ugliest landing page in the whole universe and it'll sell.
My original landing page for my little $27 ebook, it was really bad. It was just a basic like one long letter with a bunch of janky images. People didn't really care because every week I had been showing up for months telling them all my stuff.
you know, helping them to lose weight. So you two should focus on the kind of journey that you're giving them before they hit your landing page. So making really good videos is a great way to do that.
And what this does is it creates a desirable little universe. So we've got the, the, the, for instance, the interior designer, she has a little universe that she's already built to anybody who hasn't gone to her channel to Pineview acres, please go to her channel. And please look at some of her videos because every time that I see one of her videos, it's like teleporting into this literal home and garden magazine come to life.
And it's this beautiful little island where the crown molding is perfect. It's a perfect color. And like the tapestry on the bed is like so perfect.
And I too can maybe do that. So you're creating a beautiful little universe that people actually want to go to. That's if I can give you a secret to pro YouTube.
Easter egg, golden Easter egg. Your YouTube videos are actually just little tiny pieces of your heaven place, of the island you're creating for your people. So keep that in mind.
We're not creating YouTube videos. We're actually creating little slices of heaven for people. And my favorite way to do this one last time is with YouTube.
Okay, so these are some of my top performing videos from last year. And these videos, you know, they took me. The one on the top left, it took me about an hour total, including editing time to create.
And that has 400 and something thousand views. And that got me something like 30 ,000 leads or 30 ,000 signups to my email address. And all the videos on here, they weren't all that labor intensive.
So when you really learn how to do YouTube, it doesn't really, it doesn't, it does take a little bit more work than Instagram to be sure. But these are videos that you're going to build. that will get you sales for months or years to come.
So here's my invitation, everybody. I just wanted to put this out there because I didn't think it was fair to just hide this invitation to only challenge members, but I didn't want to make this a huge deal. So there's only a couple days between now and registration.
The doors are going to close really soon. Our kickoff party starts on the 6th of November, and this is the YouTube breakthrough four -week immersion. So we're only doing YouTube stuff during this immersion.
In my past immersions, I kind of do a big giant six month situation and we do all kinds of business training and all that stuff. But what I have been called to do with this immersion is really focus only on YouTube.
So we're going to help you to do all the things that I covered in the beginning of this session. I want to help you get a clear position. I want to help you understand how to work a premise, make better promises with your channel.
I want to help you to get clear on your packaging and your offerings. in terms of like your thumbnail design and your titles and cleaning up the copywriting on your channel and on your YouTube videos. And I want, basically, I want the world to get to see you so that you're actually known for what you are.
You are entitled. You are entitled to be known as an authority because you are in the top 1%. Here's another thing I learned at the YouTube Breakthrough Challenge.
Every time I ask, how many years have you spent doing this thing? Everybody in my audience, I've been really intentional about attracting experts. So everyone in my audience, let me know in the chat here.
I'd love to hear. Please let me know in the chat, how many years have you been studying your thing? Please pop it in the chat.
How many years have you been studying your thing?
Let me know in the chat, how many years have you been studying your thing? When I was asking this at the Breakthrough Challenge, some of the answers were like 25 years, 50 years. Tranquil Teacher says, 30 years, 30 years.
Anybody else? How many years have you been studying your thing? Five years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, eight years, 17 years, 12 years total.
Crazy. 25 years.
Approximately 25 years. So on the bell curve of experts. You are statistically in the top 1 % of people who in this entire world, you are in the top 1 % of people who have been studying the thing for eight years, 10 years, 15 years, 25 years, 30 years, over a decade.
Okay. So I want you to understand that you deserve, you are entitled, you are entitled to being seen and known in this world. Okay.
And so that's why I'm kind of doing all this because it drives me absolutely nuts that there are business owners out there with 25 years of experience. And yet I want I want thousands and thousands of people to know your name. I want them to understand that you're the expert that they need to work with.
So we're going to be doing four weeks to really just help you to turn pro. And let me put my face on here. So, yeah, we're doing four weeks of just YouTube stuff.
And I want to. I wanted to just really focus on this immersion for four weeks of just YouTube stuff. And so we're going to be doing your breakthrough branding.
And when I say branding, I'm not talking about colors. I'm not talking about when people hear that word branding, it's almost been bastardized. It's like how people experience the G word, God.
When people hear the word God, there's a lot of baggage there. When people hear the word branding, they think of a lot of like yucky stuff. I'm not talking about that.
vapid branding. I'm talking about what do people really feel when they see your stuff? I want to get you a really clear and strong position.
So let's put a clear and solid anchor point with a clear flag of like, here is my stuff. Here's what I do. And so we're going to help you to get a breakthrough brand on YouTube.
We're also going to help you with your YouTube hologram so that you have a holographic channel. There's a little tiny training in my YouTube launchpad about this, but we're actually going to bring your channel to life. so that you're not just a YouTube, you know, making YouTube videos.
I want to help you to really break through. And we're also doing peaceful implementation. So what I'm most excited about is in the four weeks, you actually are creating videos with, with me alongside me.
I'm also going to be giving you my inside scoop. So you're going to be creating videos and you get to ask me questions and get that guidance and training along the way. So we're meeting every Monday and I'm going to be giving you a training and then you're going to actually.
create videos with me. There's not really a set. Um, there's not really a set number.
You don't have to create a bunch of videos, but I'm going to recommend three videos for this immersion. So you're probably going to leave this immersion with three videos done. You can do more if you want, but that's going to be what I kind of recommend is three.
So you don't get overwhelmed. You could even do two and you can even do one. If you want, it doesn't really matter.
What really matters is you're going to be implementing with me. We're also going to give you the top freelancer Rolodex.
So I have my own little Rolodex of copywriters for your headlines, graphic designers for your thumbnails. If you want to not do anything with... graphic design.
Like some business owners who are working with me, they're like, listen, I don't care how easy it is for you. I don't care how easy you want to make it for me. I never want to get in Canva.
And I'm like, I got you boo. Here's a list of graphic designers who have a really nice price. I also have video editors in this Rolodex and virtual assistants to help you.
And this is my own private Rolodex that I've got. I'm really picky. And so after 16 years, I've kind of gotten all of my favorite people into one solid place for you.
And I also am giving everybody who joins a bonus. So this is the post immersion profit focused bonuses. So once you're done with the four weeks, you have 12 months access to my entire profit building library.
And that is the profitable offers that organized CEO. and the live event setup suite. So this is going to help you to make better offers.
It's going to help you to promote those offers with webinars or challenges. And it's also going to help you to organize the backend of your business. So that's kind of like beginner level.
Like the organized CEO is like, I took, I took a seat at my desk and I said, okay, here's all the tech stuff made super simple. Here's all my planning stuff made super simple. Here's how I manage my team.
So that way, after the training is done and you're all set up with your YouTube stuff, you actually have the tools that you'll need for 12 month access to really put the business and profit building stuff into place. So this is four rich weeks with live group coaching. We're meeting Mondays and we're meeting Thursdays.
You don't have to come on the Thursday session, but every week we're meeting on Mondays for training, masterminding. And so you can flesh out your ideas. So it's going to kind of be like on Mondays you say, hey, OK, here's my premise.
Here's a video for the week. Here's what I'm thinking about doing. Or here's the two videos I'm going to batch film this week or whatever.
And here's the angle and here's the approach. And what do you think about this? And then on Thursdays we meet and we kind of go over any hurdles you're facing.
What are you dealing with? Should you make the, we also like on Mondays during that mastermind, I'm going to teach you how to figure out, should I even make this video? Is this video worth trying?
What is the premise and what is, how does this time with future offers? How about your free offers? What are we going to talk about for your free offers and all that stuff?
And then on Thursdays, we talk a lot about what's going on. What can I help you with? Let's untangle the wires.
a perfect example of this would be um business owners who come and they're like i'm really overwhelmed with the tech stuff and i'm like okay cool let's talk about some easier ways to do the tech stuff because i've got tons of tricks for you so this is no pressure no hustle just creating your life's work and um I pride myself on being really chill and laid back.
So though I am like devoted to the work and I'm really happy to help you to do the work and we're going to be getting to work, it's definitely not going to be what you're used to in terms of the Instagram coaches. If you've been working with an Instagram coach who tells you to post every day, you know, and hustle, hustle, hustle, that's not really my style.
So it's going to be four chill, laid back, fun, deep weeks of doing lots of YouTube stuff. And so you can go to brendaturner .com slash Y T I for that, um, for that information. There's also tons of testimonials on there because I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of business owners.
And for instance, Tegan, Michelle, I've mentioned her before, but she had her first 400. I think it was like. I don't know if it was a six figure view count in like the first two uploads of working with me.
There's also. There's actually a ton. Thomas Gaborino, he's a healer here on YouTube and he's averaging at least 2 ,000 views a video.
His recent upload got 12 ,000 views. I'm really proud of him. He's got a steady stream of clients who he gets to help to heal.
Thomas Gaborino. There's too many for me to remember, but they're all on the landing. There's plenty of them on the landing page.
So you're definitely going to want to join. This is my last YouTube immersion of. 2026 so the next time i'm going to be doing immersions like an immersion like this for youtube isn't it going to be until next year okay so if you want to work with me directly and and really get a youtube mentorship this is a lot like a mentorship in a group setting with some other beautiful business owners you're going to want to join it brendaturner .com yti like youtube immersion Heather says, if anyone's on the fence, I highly recommend saying yes.
I promise I didn't plant Heather. I joined Brenda's program this past summer and since I have gained confidence and clarity around my channel, it is so good. Thank you, Heather.
All right. And Gabrielle is also in the accelerator. So Gabrielle is one of my beautiful clients and we're going to be meeting and growing Gabrielle.
Gabrielle is in there and Gabrielle is going to be working. We've got a beautiful crew. is what I'm trying to tell you.
So if you want to be an online business owner, who's really, really proficient at YouTube, this is the place to be. And I want to close it with this. I'm going to brag a little bit.
So I'm the only YouTube teacher who's actually had a YouTube channel about other stuff besides YouTube. Well, there, that's not true. There's one other, there's like one other really good.
And I love all the YouTube teachers to be clear, but I'm one of the only, one of the only ones that's been doing it for 16 years that have had multiple businesses that have taught. And, and so I can teach you a lot about different aspects of the whole game. So I hope you join me at brendaturner .com slash Y T I and Heather, Heather's giving you a little PS.
The community is so rich and supportive. Thank you, Heather. Thank you so much.
Let me check if there's any questions. If there's any questions, you guys, let me know if you have any questions about turning pro on YouTube. And one last time, that immersion starts on the 9th, but the kickoff party is on the 6th.
And it would be really cool if you join us because the kickoff parties are always lit as well. You don't want to really miss a live event from me. Sunny says, Brenda is the best and you won't regret it.
I swear I'm not planting these people. I swear these people are actual customers that have had good experiences with me and thank you guys.
You guys are the best. No questions. It looks like there's no questions.
Oh, there was, I think there was a question. Let's see here. Will there be future offer?
That's more focused on business side of things. Thanks for the offer. Hey, Sophie.
Yeah, there, there most definitely will be future offers in more around business stuff for sure. And just to give you a little heads up. Actually, no, I don't want to spoil the surprise.
So for right now, I just want to let everybody know I have a four -week immersion. It's starting on the 9th. But yes, Sophie, absolutely.
And if anybody's in Sophie's shoes and you want to keep up to date and you want me to let you know when I have other offerings, you can join my email list by going to brendaturner .com slash gifts and downloading any of my free stuff. Yeah, absolutely. Angela.
Absolutely. And thanks Gabrielle. Thank you so much.
Um, what was that page again? It's brendaturner .com slash Y T I like YouTube immersion. And, um, that's also going to be in the description bar below my face.
So brendaturner .com slash Y T I like YouTube immersion. So I hope you found today's one question. I am a healing coach.
Can I add terror reading in my channel? Would it be too much deviation? Now that's a good question.
And this is a really fun kind of, um, this is a really fun kind of like little idea of like what we will be doing inside of the immersion is like question like this. I get to go much deeper with you and figure out like the actual answer for you, but off its face, what I'm kind of, what I'm kind of going to offer there for Nahari, Naharica.
I'm sorry if I'm saying your name wrong. Niharika. It's your business and your YouTube channel.
I want you to follow your heart with it. I don't have enough context to give you like the deeper answer. But what I'll say is if it's not going to align with the broader overarching kind of vision for your channel, as in we talked about before about what is the deeper offer for your channel.
So my deeper offer, the kind of overarching offer here on this channel is I'm here to help you to get rich inside and out. If something doesn't really feel like a hell yes in alignment with that, it's not going to honor the channel. And that really is going to mess with the algorithm, you know?
So the ultimate algorithmic hack, it's not to pick a niche. It's not to do fancy gimmicks. It's actually to really understand what is your deeper offer.
Make sure that offer and that promise really serves a hero or a person, your customer. And then you really stick to that promise, that deeper promise. You can also call that the overarching premise of your channel.
Anything that distracts from that deeper promise, it can really detract from the whole thing and it can kind of drain the energy. The last thing I'm going to offer to you is the best way to figure out if it's going to work is to maybe try it. If it passes muster, if it passes that first test I just gave, then you go ahead and try it.
And if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Our heart breaks a little bit when our ideas don't work out, but don't take it personal if it doesn't work out. If it does work out, then all the best.
That's all the better. How long are the Monday and Thursday calls? The Monday calls run about 75 minutes.
And then the Thursday calls, I kind of stick around for about an hour and a half. We can go a little bit longer. I try to answer everybody's questions, but typically it's about an hour and a half.
And you don't have to come to any of the live sessions. I am posting replays of all the sessions. And there is also a community area that is so banging because I hosted on Circle.
So anybody who's, any of the business owners here who have tried Circle, you know what I'm talking about. Circle's so good. So we have a community area that's on Circle.
And that means I get to respond with voice memos or video responses, video tutorials or whatever.
That's what I need. Thanks for teaching live today. So happy.
Thanks, Anna. It's good seeing you, Anna. Always good seeing a familiar face.
And thank you so much, Brenda. You are the best. Absolutely.
So are you. Okay, everybody. Thanks so much for hanging.
It was so good being with you. Time to turn pro on YouTube. Whether or not you join me, I really want you to do your life's work.
Get out there, shine your light. And we're going to close with the Avengers movie question. Will you be in the next Avengers movie?
I swear I am not related to Scarlett Johansson, but these ScarJo comments make me laugh so hard. Thank you so much for that last comment and that last laugh. And it was so good seeing you guys.
And I'll see some of you guys who are my, who are already in my community. I'll see you guys when we have our kickoff party starting Friday. Okay.
I'll see you guys at the kickoff party. It's going to be lit. Bye everybody.
Thanks so much. Huge hugs.
The Hook

The title borrows Steven Pressfield's Turning Pro, and the session opens the same way the book does: before you turn pro, fear runs the show. Here that fear looks like safe titles and timid premises, and the fix is a set of five shifts plus a stripped-down model for making the channel pay.
