Big Idea

The argument in one line.

A $10M business comes from one anchor product sized to your goal, a single high-converting sales page, and traffic added last, and AI now makes each of those steps fast and cheap.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You want to start an e-commerce or product business and need a repeatable order of operations: product first, funnel second, traffic third.
  • You already sell something but keep burning ad money on a weak sales page and want to know what to fix before scaling spend.
  • You want to see how Claude can research a market from reviews and draft a full sales page in minutes.
SKIP IF…
  • You want a technical Claude tutorial; the Claude demo here is a short voice prompt, not a build walkthrough.
  • You are building a service or community business where reviews and Amazon-style product data do not exist.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Clark says the best businesses sell one anchor product, and that product must match your revenue goal: a $10M business needs a $10M product. Find existing products already at that level, feed their reviews into Claude to learn who buys and what they say, then build a better, simple version. Convert strangers with one long sales page that maximizes visitor value, meaning conversion rate times order value. Only then add traffic, mainly Meta ads modeled on competitors in the Facebook Ad Library. He demonstrates by having Claude clone a competitor page for a made-up dirt bike LED plate.

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • Your goal determines your product: a $10M per year business needs a $10M per year product, and a $100M business needs a $100M product.
  • Red Bull reached a billion dollars in sales selling a single 8.4 ounce can for its first 15 years.
  • A screen protector business with a new variation for every phone model became a nightmare to run and was shut down.
  • Copy reviews of existing winning products into Claude and ask who buys, what they are like, and what they actually say.
  • Build the simplest version of the product first so a miss costs little and you can iterate or launch a new one.
  • Visitor value is conversion rate times money per buyer; at equal conversion, $200 per sale beats $100 per sale.
  • Turn on traffic last: a weak product with a weak funnel only loses money when you scale ads.
  • Clark says customer acquisition cost lands around $100 in both his coffee brand and a $30M per year Amazon seller.
  • Selling premium products is what lets the funnel pay for the traffic.
  • For nine out of ten businesses Clark recommends Meta ads, which cover Facebook and Instagram together.
  • Put what reviews say buyers care about into ads, in the widest variety possible, then copy the ad formats of big brands from the Facebook Ad Library.
  • Clark says his coffee brand grew from $17K a month to $2.5M in year one, $16M in year two, $25M in year three, and over $60M a year now.
Takeaway

Product first, funnel second, traffic last

WHAT TO LEARN

Size one product to your revenue goal, convert strangers with one strong page, and only then pay for traffic.

  • Pick the revenue goal first, then find existing products already earning that much in a market you care about.
  • Feed as many competitor reviews as you can into Claude to learn who buys, what they are like, and the words they use.
  • Launch the simplest version of the product so a failed attempt is cheap and the next iteration is fast.
  • Judge a sales page by visitor value: more buyers through proof and benefits, and more spend per buyer through the offer.
  • Have Claude clone the structure of a proven page section by section, with placeholders for images and copy you will fill later.
  • Scale ads only after the product and page convert, modeling creative on competitors found in the Facebook Ad Library.

So here's how to build a $10 million business with zero employees using AI, which is basically never before possible until the last few months. And so I've been building businesses for 17 years now. I've sold about half a billion dollars online and taught all kinds of people how to launch and scale businesses.
So what I'm showing you right now is based on all of that experience and what's working this moment.
And so over a decade ago, I partnered up with a guy who sold cell phone accessories, mainly screen protectors that you put on your phone to protect the screen, to do anti -glare, to have privacy, and that sort of thing. And the business did okay, like it was doing millions of dollars a year in sales, but there was one problem.
There was... way too many variations of the product. As soon as Apple came out with a new phone, they'd have to launch a whole new line of products in addition to already having a lot of products because of all the other phone models.
And so that business was a nightmare and he ended up just shutting that business down. And so that really drove home a single point for me is that the best businesses have just one main product.
I typically call this an anchor product. And so Red Bull got to a billion dollars in sales by selling one 8 .4 ounce can for its first 15 years in business before ever launching something new. And so the first thing you want to sort out is the product that you sell.
And the main thing you're trying to accomplish with that product is that you want the single product that you sell to be able to meet your goal. So that's why I say your goal determines your product. And so if your goal is to build a $10 million per year business, you need a $10 million per year product.
And fortunately now, it's very easy to find that out because whether you really want to sell products or services or anything else, if you do enough research online, especially using AI, really any of the tools will work fine for research. You start finding out, you know, what are the best markets to go in that I'm interested in, which is what i recommend for everybody because you're going to be in this business for years so don't sell something you don't care about that you're not interested in or especially something that you don't believe in so pick a general market that you're interested in and within there find out who is already accomplishing your goal who already owns a $10 million a year product?
If you wanna get into e -commerce, selling consumer products, where I have a lot of experience, though this will work for basically any business, there's a lot of tools out there you can find online that'll estimate a product sales on Amazon and even Shopify now. And so you're looking, your first filter is, is it a market I'm interested in?
Your second filter is within that market, which products are meeting my goal? Now you may only wanna build a million dollar business, so you don't need a $10 million product. If you wanna build a hundred million dollar business, You don't need a $10 million product.
You need a $100 million product. So your goal determines your product. So within that market you're interested in, look for existing products or services that are already doing at least $10 million a year.
That's your first filter. Now, creating a product that'll actually sell in that market is super easy now because all you do... is take as many reviews as you can find.
I don't care if you have to copy and paste into a document. I don't care if you build some fancy cloud application to download all these reviews. I don't care if you take full page screenshots of all their reviews.
Some way or another, grab as many reviews as possible from the existing products or services that sell really well from any platform you can get them from, then feed those into AI. I prefer cloud. And then what you're looking for is who is buying this product, what are they like, and what are they not like, and what do they actually say?
When you get that sort of information, it's easy to enter a big market and create a product that wins. All you're doing is creating a better solution in an existing product, an existing market with a product that's already proven to meet your goal. That's the entire process.
And then when it comes time to launch this product, you want to create the simplest version possible. that appeals to those people so your costs are low because not every product's gonna work out, which is totally fine. So you wanna make sure that you can iterate and try again.
So keep your risks low, but you're already gonna be way ahead of everyone else because you're entering a big market, you're focusing on a single product, so your profit is gonna be way higher and your operations are gonna be way simpler and you're gonna be way more likely to succeed. Then you keep your risk low. If the first product doesn't work out, you iterate and improve it.
If that doesn't work out, you launch a new product, no problem. You're gonna be learning as you go and eventually, you will find something that works.
All right, so once you've sorted out the product, the next thing you wanna sort out is your funnel or sales funnel. So this is basically how you're gonna convert people that have never heard of you or your business before into buying your main product. And so I typically do this with just literally one page.
And so if you look at a lot of our products, for example, our coffee business that does about $60 million a year in sales, we just have these long pages. The long pages has a good headline that appeals to these people you discovered by looking at reviews. It also has all the features about the product, all the benefits, a ton.
of reviews and social proof and then it makes people a good offer so your whole goal with your funnel is to have a high what i call visitor value which is basically a function of how many people you convert into buyers and how much money those people spend the more people you convert into buyers by having more social proof better sales copy more benefits more features more fact -based copy the better your traffic is going to perform the higher amount of money that customers give you every time they buy also the better traffic you're going to perform because if all else held equal if you have the same conversion rate as somebody else but you make $200 per sale and they only make $100 per sale you're going to dominate that market so you're trying to get people to buy as much as possible and get as many people to buy as possible So to give you an example of how a funnel works, we're sitting here on the boat here in Lake Austin.
And so a couple of years ago, I was struggling trying to figure out how to get better at wake surfing. And so I did a lesson with this girl on another lake. And then I was trying to do 360s, literally like two hours of trying to figure this out.
And it was like not working. She's like, there's a guy in Austin. he's got some good YouTube videos on how to do this.
And so I was like, okay, cool. I checked him out. His name is Dylan Ayala.
And so I'd watched a couple of his videos. And then from his videos, that led into a course that he sold for like a couple hundred bucks. And so then I signed up for that course.
And then from there, you could go do private lessons with him, which are a lot more expensive and which I've done a lot. He's a great guy. And so that was his funnel.
He went from free content to a sales page for his course from there to something higher ticket to getting people to spend more money. And so that's exactly what you can do with any product. or any service.
Your goal is to get as many people in there as possible. And we'll talk about how to do that in a second. And then you want to get them to buy as much as possible.
Now today, creating sales pages is so easy. And so I'm going to show you how easy it is to create these sales pages. And I'm actually going to ask our driver right now, his name is Brandon, for a product idea.
So I'm going to create this page on the fly with Claude. So Brandon, what's a product that you could think about selling? Maybe I got a custom LED front number plate for my dirt bike.
all right custom led what was the rest part uh front number plate front number plate for dirt dirt bike all right cool thanks brandon so we got that product idea all right so i'm gonna have claude create a sales page for this so what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna talk to it using a little app you can just use voice to text doesn't matter i want to create a sales page for the product i've mentioned below and i want to model it after this url just do the best job you can copying their page section by section but tailor it to this fictional product and then i want you to if there's any images or videos that you need just add placeholders and if there's any copy you can add placeholders but just do the best job you can and create an offer that's modeled after theirs as well all right so then i'm going to give you this url below but it's a really good type of page so this is the model page i'm going to pop this url in here i'll give you this example below and then here's my product and then we'll let claude get to work all right so i'm going to let it get to work while we go through the next section and i'm going to come back to this here in a few minutes so once we have the right kind of product we have the right kind of sales funnel to convert strangers into buyers the next piece is we need traffic
And so when I say traffic, I just mean a way to get customers. Like these people are on all these platforms. And now there's like five multi -billion user platforms, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, and so forth, and TikTok.
And so... You want a way to, once you've done a good job with a product, so that part is going to give you a good foundation. You've created a good funnel using AI with a high visitor value.
The last piece is to dump traffic in there. Most people can't scale their businesses because they try to do this first. They create a crappy product with a bad funnel.
They start turning on traffic and all they do is lose money. But by you following it this way around, you're going to beat almost everybody out there. And your whole goal with traffic is what I have in the orange up here is to get customers for free.
But if you have a good product, a good funnel, then you keep dialing in your traffic, your funnel is gonna pay for the cost of your traffic in terms of the sales that it gets because you're gonna have a high conversion rate and a high profit per customer, which is why you always wanna sell premium products, by the way. And so to give you an example of how this works, I'm coaching these guys that they do about $30 million a year on Amazon and they wanna scale outside of Amazon.
And so... They have been running ads and I've been coaching them and I keep coaching them to bump their average order value up, get people to buy more upfront because what they found is kind of crazy. The cost for them to get a customer is around $100.
In our business, in a totally different space, selling coffee, wanna know what the cost for us to get a customer is? About $100. And so this isn't gonna be the case for every market out there, but I've seen it in too many markets now to ignore.
you need to be able to spend about 100 bucks to get a customer. So that comes with having a good premium product, a good funnel that gets customers to buy as much as humanly possible upfront, like the example funnel that I'll include below, and I'm about to show you a clawed version. And then you start turning on traffic.
And so my... recommendation for nine out of 10 businesses is going to be Facebook or meta ads. So meta includes Facebook and Instagram.
If you run on there, you're automatically by default advertising on both platforms. That's the 800 pound gorilla. It's got literally half of the entire world on there.
And the whole game over here is to go back to your reviews. Who's buying? What do they care about?
What do they say? Put that information in ads, the widest variety possible, and then copy other people. if you just go look up big brands you can look up our brand by the way you can also look up grooms which is the landing page we're modeling go look them up in facebook ad library which you can just google and start modeling your ads off of theirs are they doing images are they doing videos are they doing before and afters them versus us do they have some sort of other style discount ads look at their ads and then create ads similar for your business with a good product good funnel good traffic modeling ads off of other people this is how you win in this whole game that's how you scale to 10 million dollars All you have to do at that point, keep improving your product, gather reviews, keep improving your funnel, add the reviews to there, keep improving your traffic by really just adding more reviews, more real testimonials, but also just modeling more ads off of people.
Run the ads and scale the ones that work, cut the ones that don't, and just keep running this machine. And this is how you can build a $10 million business. I scaled our coffee business.
I joined when it was tiny, doing like $17 ,000 a month. By year two, we were doing $16 million a year. because we already had a good product that could definitely achieve our goal but i had to work on the funnel and then work on the traffic so we had a good product i improved the funnel using a similar process to what i'm showing you here and then we started dialing in traffic that business went from 17 grand a month to two and a half million dollars in the first year to 16 million dollars in the second year to 25 million dollars in the third year and now we do over 60 million dollars a year following this exact same system all right so let's check back in on this page to show you an example all right so here's our sales page that claw generated in just a few minutes and so it's got a cool flash sale at the top says fall moto sale and then it's got some placeholder stuff we can fill in and then it even made a brand name it's called ignite six reasons why ignite is your bike's new favorite mod uh besides looking sick you like that brandon oh yeah
and then it's got a good copy there it's got some discount buttons some image placeholders it's following a listicle format which is what i recommend for most businesses today which is literally just reasons why people should buy your product but good copy in there so be seen after the sun drops your number your font your colors built to take roost this is all kinds of bike stuff i don't know but bolts on in about x minutes uh sips power not your battery trusted by x number of riders so social proof just like grooms was using and then they have a discount and they have basically like an image slider, like you would see on Amazon or any e -commerce thing.
And then kind of goes through here. And so this page is like 90 % done. You need to get some images, you need to get some videos, which you can all do with AI as well.
But this takes care of your entire funnel. Your job, get a good product, create a good funnel using AI, create good ads using AI, but intelligently modeled after ones that are already working for other people. And that's how you scale to $10 million.
So I'm creating more content like this every single week to show you how to build businesses based on all of my 17 years of experience. So if you want more of that information, subscribe to my YouTube channel. It's obviously 100 % free.
And then the video I recommend you watch next is if you don't have a product to sell yet or you want a new product, watch this video to learn how to find a $25 ,000 a day product.
