Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Claude becomes a hands-on Meta Ads co-pilot when you feed it your product details and connect it to your ad account via MCP, eliminating the guesswork that kills most beginners before their first campaign.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You sell digital products (planners, ebooks, spreadsheets, Notion templates) and want to add a paid traffic channel.
  • You have never run Meta Ads before and feel overwhelmed by Ads Manager.
  • You already run Meta Ads manually and want to use AI to speed up research and analysis.
  • You are curious how MCP connectors work and want a practical, beginner-visible demo.
SKIP IF…
  • You are selling physical products or services -- the workflow is optimized for digital downloads.
  • You want a deep dive into Meta Ads Manager mechanics -- this video stays at the surface of actual campaign setup.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Claude can serve as a complete Meta Ads assistant for digital product sellers. The workflow starts with Digital Maker AI, which lets you spy on competitor ads, analyze their estimated revenue, and generate a structured Claude prompt from your product details. Claude then produces a 30-day campaign calendar with daily action items, a beginner setup checklist, and a campaign strategy with broad-targeting recommendations tuned to the 2026 Meta algorithm. For ad creative, the same tool generates multiple AI image variants with your product embedded. The most powerful step is connecting Claude directly to your ad account via a custom MCP connector at mcp.faceook.com, which lets you ask natural-language questions about impressions, CTR, and spend without opening Ads Manager.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • Meta algorithm in 2026 performs better with broad audience targeting than with specific interest segments -- going narrow is the most common beginner mistake.
  • A custom Claude prompt built around your specific product, price, platform, and launch date produces a usable campaign blueprint; a freehand prompt produces generic advice.
  • The 30-day launch calendar Claude generates tells you exactly what ROAS, CTR, and cost-per-purchase thresholds to watch -- eliminating daily guesswork about whether the ad is working.
  • Connecting Claude to a live Meta Ads account via a custom MCP connector means querying click counts, CPM, and CTR through a chat window instead of navigating Ads Manager.
  • A 5-dollar-per-day traffic campaign is a safe validation step before committing to a 50-dollar-per-day sales-conversion objective.
  • Generating three static image variants of the same ad creative and running them in one campaign gives you built-in A/B data without extra work.
  • Meta has 3.1 billion monthly active users -- more than YouTube, and Instagram is also Meta-owned, making the platform hard to ignore for digital product paid traffic.
  • A course on Meta Ads setup alone used to cost hundreds of dollars; Claude now produces an equivalent beginner guide from a single prompt at no marginal cost.
  • Watching which competitor ads have been running for six months is a reliable proxy for profitability -- sustained spend means sustained conversion.
  • The Meta Ads MCP connector is not listed in Claude default connector directory -- you add it manually as a custom connector using the mcp.faceook.com URL.

  • Connecting Claude to a live Meta Ads account via a custom MCP connector lets you query impressions, CTR, and spend in natural language without opening Ads Manager.
  • Start with a low-budget traffic campaign to validate creative before committing to a higher-budget sales-conversion objective -- budget sequencing reduces waste on untested ads.
  • Generating three AI image variants of the same ad and running them in one campaign produces A/B data without additional effort or cost.
  • Watching which competitor ads have been running for six months is a reliable proxy for profitability -- sustained spend usually means sustained conversion.
Glossary

Terms worth knowing.

MCP connector
A Model Context Protocol integration that gives Claude permission to read data from or take actions in an external service, such as a Facebook ad account, directly from a chat window.
ROAS
Return on Ad Spend -- the revenue generated for every dollar spent on advertising. A 3x ROAS means three dollars in revenue per dollar spent.
CTR
Click-through rate -- the percentage of people who saw an ad and clicked it. A 4.53% CTR (shown in the video) is considered strong for Facebook traffic campaigns.
CPM
Cost per 1,000 impressions -- what you pay for your ad to be shown 1,000 times, regardless of clicks. Lower CPM means cheaper reach.
Campaign objective
The goal you declare when creating a Meta campaign. Options include Traffic, Engagement, Leads, and Sales. Meta algorithm optimizes delivery toward that goal.
Static image ad
A Facebook or Instagram ad using a single still image rather than video or carousel. Simpler to produce and a common starting format for digital product sellers.
Ad Library
A searchable database showing active ads running on Facebook and Instagram, including creative, copy, and how long each ad has been running.
Broad targeting
Running Meta ads with minimal audience restrictions and letting the platform algorithm find buyers, rather than specifying age ranges, interests, or behaviors manually.

analogystory
00:00So a lot of people always ask me, Sam, why do you speak a lot about Claude? What's so special about it? Why is it an AI tool that you speak about more than others?
00:07And I'd say the reason for that is because I'm mainly using it more than others for my personal projects as well as the different internet businesses that I'm running. And one of the things that it's able to help me do as well as yourself is that it can actually help you set up and run your meta ads. If you're someone that's selling a digital product or any product online for that matter and there's a very unique way that it works and I wanna break down exactly what goes into the process in today's video.
00:33And for those of you that are new to the concept of meta ads, you're probably thinking Sam, why would I even bother with meta ads to begin with? Isn't Facebook a dying platform? Now the honest truth is you don't need to run any paid ads if you don't want to.
00:45You could definitely build up some sort of digital product store using just organic methods by posting content on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, so on and so forth.
00:56But if you're already doing that and you're looking for a way to scale things even further, then meta ads may be a good option depending on your demographic, depending on what product you have available. You know, there's gonna be so many different factors. But the reason why meta ads could be a good solution for you to get more eyeballs on the products that you have to sell is because if we take a look at this chart on the screen, we can see that Meta has over 3,100,000,000 monthly active users.
01:23And second in the list is gonna be YouTube. And the third biggest platform is Instagram, which is also owned by Meta as well.
01:30And these are the numbers that make Meta a platform that marketers all around the world use for them to bring awareness to their products. So again, I'm not saying that you need to run Meta Ads straight away, but stick around for this entire video from start to finish because you're gonna learn something. You're gonna be able to get a lot of information as to if Meta Ads is gonna be suitable to you and how you can utilize it and get started in the right way with the help of Claude AI.
01:56Now, I wanna show you one interesting thing. I wanna show you how you can find different stores that are running meta ads right now. As a way for you to replicate what they're doing and for you to get a general idea as to how you can maybe run meta ads yourself.
02:10So the tool that I'm gonna use for this, you guys already know if you're a returning viewer, is gonna be Digital Maker AI. I'm gonna leave a link down below. It should be the top link in the description.
02:20You can sign up and get started for completely free. Gonna be able to sign up using either your Gmail or a regular email address. And once you've logged in, this is gonna be a similar screen that you're going to see.
02:30Now from this point, if you wanna find different stores that are selling digital products and they're also using meta ads as a way for them to get traffic. You could just go over to the left hand side and you're gonna see ad library. If you just click into this.
02:44This is a really powerful tool because it's going to again show you various different marketers that are sending traffic to digital products. Whether they are doing it via Facebook or Instagram, you can type in the name of the store.
02:58You can just type in the name of the digital product. There's so many different capabilities when using this particular feature in Digital Maker AI.
03:07But to keep things simple, let me quickly just type in digital planner and I wanna see what type of stores come up.
03:15I'm gonna change this to The United States, and I'm gonna click on search. And as we can see, what's gonna come back is going to be all of these different ads start active right now.
03:26So good the thing about this is that it's gonna let you know when the ad was started. So we can see that this one was started around six months ago.
03:33We can see the name of the store. We can also see the copy I e the marketing text that they're using on the actual ad as well as the creative as well. And if you wanna find out exactly where they're sending the traffic to, all you need to do is click on the CTA button as you can see over here.
03:50We've got shop now, learn more, sign up. So yeah. That's the basics as to how the ad library works.
03:57And don't worry, I'm gonna show how Claude is gonna play a role in all of this in a moment. I'm just trying to lay the foundation so that everyone that's watching is on the exact same page. So one other thing that you can do with this feature, let's stick with this store over here.
04:11So they started this ad twenty six days ago. We can see that it is a video ad. But one other cool thing that you can do is that you can get the store URL.
04:19So if I click into the CTA, we can see that it takes me directly to this landing page where I can purchase this digital planner straight away. So if I just get the URL of the store and then make my way back over to the ad library, what I'm gonna do this time is just paste the store URL in there just like that and then click on search.
04:40And what the ad library is going to do is show me the specific ads that this store is running. So we can see that they've got over 30 different ads at the moment. The majority of them are video ads as we can see.
04:52You can click into it, play it, and replicate any one of them that was started a while back. Because if they're still running it now, it means that there is a chance that it's been able to generate themselves. But for the remainder of this video, I'm gonna be focusing primarily on showing you guys how you can create your first static image ad which can work well.
05:11Of course, it may be good to test out both an image and a video. But this video is just for educational purposes. Just to show you how you can use Clawd to set up your ad whether you want to use an image or video.
05:23You're still gonna be able to get value from it. So now that you get the idea as to how you can set up a Facebook ad using this ad library, you know, seeing all of the different ads that people are running.
05:35If you did want to also check exactly if a store is potentially successful or not, what you can do to take it one step further is to go over to the competitor analyzer. Because in here what you can now do is paste the same store URL and then click on analyze.
05:50And what it's gonna do is come back with all of this data that you can see on the screen. It's gonna let you know the estimated organic traffic, How many products they've got listed, the average price, as well as the total estimated monthly revenue. And over here we can see the total amount of active meta ads that has been able to be found which is 37.
06:09And we can also see the daily performance of this store as well including the entirety of their digital product catalog. So I'm sure you guys now have a general understanding as to how meta ads can be beneficial to use when trying to build up your digital product store.
06:27But this now brings me on to one of the things or one of the first things that Claude is able to help you with, which is the fact that it can help you get your meta ad account set up by giving you a step by step guidance. Now, one thing that I've noticed with so many people including myself before I got into using Facebook ads is that it can be a little bit overwhelming and a little bit confusing.
06:47But one of the main benefits that I found from AI using it myself with all of the different things that I'm doing on a day to day basis is that you can essentially use AI to give you guidance on things that used to confuse you. Because what you're able to do is tell your Claude to give you everything that goes into setting up your account, setting up your first campaign, and everything in between.
07:10So of course, you can go directly onto Claude and you can just give it all of the information. You can type it out. But my recommendation is to always prompt your AIs in the best possible way.
07:20And this leads me back on to Digital Maker AI. I'm gonna come back to Claude in a moment. Don't worry.
07:25But if I go back on to Digital Maker AI, go back over to ad library. In the top right hand corner, you're gonna see start running meta ads. And it's gonna take you through a couple different questions as to what type of product you're selling, what platform you wanna use, how you wanna do it, and you know, it's gonna be simple just around six questions or so.
07:45And just to let you guys know, the store that I'm gonna be using as an example today is this one. So this is a digital product or digital planner store that I built with the help of the website maker directly in Digital Maker AI.
07:59So I showed this on a previous video, so I'm not gonna overwhelm you with it. But it's quite simple. Once you click into the website maker, you're just gonna select what type of product you wanna sell.
08:09In this case, I said that I wanna sell a digital planner. It then took me through all of the necessary things that I need to do to get my account set up with Shopify. Everything is integrated directly within the website maker by the way.
08:21And it's completely free to use, so don't forget to check that out. Top link in the description. But yeah.
08:26This is the store that I was able to build. This is the digital planner that has been loaded to it. And I'm gonna be using this for demonstrational purposes.
08:34So this is a digital planner to help people run their small business, generally for productivity. You know, it's fully functional. It works as it should.
08:43And I was also able to build this by the way with the help of Digital Maker AI. Because if you wasn't aware, within Product Maker, there's gonna be this option for you to build out a digital planner. So this is what I use when it comes to building all of the different digital products that I'm selling.
09:01So yeah. This is the store that I'm gonna be using when it comes to using Claw to help me set up my Facebook ads. So now that you know what store I'm using and exactly what type of product I'm gonna be focused on.
09:11I'm just gonna get that custom prompt for Claw to know exactly what product I'm selling so they can guide me in the best way. So for the ad platform, I'm gonna say on Facebook and Instagram feed for now. The target device, I'm gonna say mainly mobile only.
09:27Launch date, let's go with a date in the future. Let's go with the June 10.
09:33Let's go with that. What is the setting price? I'm gonna say 17.
09:38Perfect. Product type is going to be a digital planner. For the final question, daily budget.
09:44This is gonna be completely down to you on what you wanna do. There is a belief that you need to do minimum $50 per day if you're gonna go after sales conversions.
09:54If you're looking to just get traffic onto your site, then it could be a lot less. You know, there's a lot of technicalities that goes into setting up the campaign objective with Meta and I don't wanna overwhelm you in today's video.
10:05But you can even start with a budget as low as $5 per day if you're just looking to test it out. So I'm gonna go with this one and then click on generate prompt. Okay.
10:16There we go. So as you guys could see, it's now come back with the full prompt for me to copy with a summary of all of my answers. So from here, I could just take a at my answers, make sure that everything is correct, make sure that I'm happy with it before I move over to Claude.
10:30So that Claude starts building everything out. So what I'm gonna do is just click on copy prompt. I'm now gonna make my way back over to Claude and I'm gonna paste the entire prompt in there just like this.
10:40And what you should see is a summary text box similar to what you can see on the screen. Of course, if you click into it, it's gonna have the full prompt over here. So don't worry.
10:49And I'm gonna be using OPS4.8, which is the highest model of Claude because I believe that this is always gonna give you back the best results. The good thing about this custom prompt is that you don't need to enter any more information.
11:02All you need to do is paste the prompt in there just like that and then click on enter. What's gonna happen from that point is that Claude's gonna start reading through the prompt. It's gonna start building everything out.
11:11It's gonna come back with this unique customized blueprint that you're gonna be able to follow. Now, this process does take around five minutes or so.
11:18So I actually done this earlier before I started filming just so that I could speed up this part of it. But yeah, you're gonna have to wait roughly two to five minutes, maybe slightly longer. But as we can see over here, this is what it's then gonna come back with.
11:32Straight away you can see that this is going to be very powerful because it's gonna break down every single little step that you need to take on every single day based on when you said that you want the ad to run. So with this particular blueprint, I said that I wanted the ad to run on the third. So we can see right there that it is telling me that this is gonna be launch day.
11:54And it's gonna tell me exactly what I need to do in a step by step format. If they're gonna let me know exactly when I need to check the ad to make sure that things are running smooth, what exactly I need to look out for. Because it knows all of the details as to the daily budget, the amount of the product.
12:10It's gonna let me know information like the ROAS, the CTR, what I need to look out for in terms of the cost per purchase. Just everything that's necessary for me to succeed with this meta ad.
12:22So yeah. This calendar is very very helpful and I'll definitely recommend you check it out if you're new to meta ads because it's gonna give you all the guidance that you need. But in addition to that, it's also gonna come back with this beginner setup guide.
12:34Now this is even more useful for those of you that have never ever touched Meta Ads before. As I said at the start of this video, it can be a little bit confusing when you're first getting into it because there's so many different factors to it. EG, you need to have a personal Facebook account.
12:49You also need to set up a Facebook page. You need to make sure that you verify your account, add a credit card. You know, it's gonna be some small minute things, you know, major things that you need to do as well.
13:00And this is going to help you because you could just go through it. You could just take it as you're going along. If you used to buy some sort of course to help you get set up with Facebook ads, they'll definitely charge maybe a couple $100 for this information.
13:12But with your digital maker AI subscription, you're gonna be able to do this over and over again for essentially free because it's gonna be included. The next tab over here is gonna be the campaign strategy. So this is gonna give you some ideas as to how to set up your campaign in terms of the creative to use, you know, the targeting that you should go after based on the product that you're selling.
13:33It's also gonna give you things that not that much people talk about. For example, it's letting me know right there that right now in 2026, Meta works best with broad audience targeting rather than going after specific interests, which a lot of people end up falling for.
13:47And it's also gonna come back with prompts that you can use for you to create your videos using AI and exactly where you can go to make those creatives as well. And to show you what I'm talking about, if I wanted to follow the advice within this blueprint for me to set up my meta ad, which I'm gonna show you the basics in a moment as to how you can do that.
14:07If you've never seen the back end of a meta ad account before, one of the first things that I'm going to need to do once I've got my product ready to sell, which in this case I do. It's gonna be using this store as an example. For me to get a creative made, and remember, I'm gonna be using a static image ad for today's demonstration.
14:27The way that I can get this image is by clicking into the image maker on the left hand side. Over here as you can see there's all of these different images that you can make within Digital Maker AI. But I wanna focus on the Facebook ad for now, of course.
14:41I'm gonna click into it like that. It's gonna let me know what platform am I focused on. So I'm gonna say Facebook feed as well as Instagram feed.
14:50The device that I'm targeting is gonna be mobile. The ad purpose, in this case I'm gonna say it's gonna be a general promotion. And this is where I can now paste the information that I got directly from the blueprint.
15:01So over here I'm gonna do that. It's gonna break down exactly what is gonna be shown in the image. And for the text that's gonna be shown on the ad, you can have a skip it if you don't want anything to be included.
15:12But for now, I'm just gonna say time is money because remember, this is a digital planner for people to use to save time and obviously time is money. So that is the purpose of the ad.
15:23It's not gonna be the best creative, but I'm sure that you guys are gonna get the point as to what type of images you're gonna be able to make. The ad style, I want it to be minimal and modern. Actually, let's go with eye catching and bold.
15:35For the colors, you know, got the option to choose all of these different colors, but I'm going to let AI decide in this case. And one really good thing about the image maker, if you wanna make logos, if you wanna make a YouTube banner, if you wanna do anything quite frankly, you can generate up to four different variants of it.
15:52This is really helpful if you want to either do a b testing, maybe you wanna have different options to choose from so that you can pick the best one. So it's really helpful. In this case, I'm going to say that I want to generate three different images.
16:05But I'd say one of the best parts of this entire image maker feature is the fact that you can add an attachment. And in this case, the attachment image that I'm going to add is gonna be the actual digital product that I want to be included in the static image ad that I make it. So here we go.
16:24This is the actual image. As you can see, the background has been removed. It looks really clean.
16:29I want it to be featured in the image. So what I'm gonna do is just drag and drop it from my download file and I'm just gonna click on generate free images. Okay.
16:40Perfect guys. So that took about thirty seconds, but as you can see I've got these three different images that so far look pretty decent. So let's check out this one over here.
16:51I could just make it full screen. Okay. Perfect.
16:53So we can see that it is a image that has a messy desk at the top. But below, it's got the clean desk with the digital planner showcased on the tablet. Remember that you can use this tool to make any type of image that you want.
17:09I'm just trying to do it fairly quick just so that I can point out the key ways that Claude can help because we're not done yet. There's a very unique way that Claude can actually help you optimize your ad that I've not really seen anyone on YouTube talking about, but this has to be the number one superpower of Claude in regards to running meta ads.
17:27So let's say if I wanted to go with this one, all I need to do is click on download. But if I wanted to use all of them, let's say in one campaign so that I can test out which one is performing the best, I can go over here and click on download all. On the screen right here as you can see I've just logged into one of my meta ad accounts.
17:46I'm gonna blur out some sensitive information but this is what it's gonna look like if you've never seen the inside of a Facebook ad account before. When setting up a brand new campaign, it's gonna take you through a series of different questions so that Facebook knows exactly who to show your ad to.
18:03So one of the initial questions is gonna be what is your campaign objective? And if I make my way back over to the initial blueprint that we built with Claude and then click into the campaign structure, it's gonna be over here where it's gonna tell me everything that I need to do.
18:16So we can see open up the ads manager and click on start new campaign. I already did that. Then gonna tell me to choose my objective.
18:24So there's gonna be six different objectives which we just saw and one of them is gonna be sales. So I'm just trying to give you a insight into how this whole thing is gonna work together. So as you can see on the screen now, we've got campaign name, campaign details, the budget.
18:39We've got audience segment reporting, just everything over here. And if we just go back over to this, we can see that all of it is going to be listed here, letting us know what we need to leave, what we need to turn off, what we need to turn on, what we need to enter. So yes, pretty straightforward.
18:54This is what I personally use of the different digital products that I'm building up and all of the different ads that I'm running. Even though, yes, I have been running meta ads for a while now. Whenever I'm setting up a brand new one, I go over to this just to get some clarification on any step that I might be confused on.
19:10But if you did want me to make a detailed step by step video showing you how to set up your first meta ad going through this entire thing, walking you through all of the details. If I just click on next, is it gonna allow me to move forward? Okay.
19:22Yep. So we can see over here in the ad set level that there's gonna be certain things that I need to select. So if you wanted me to go through this, fill out everything for an actual digital product and what you need to do when also uploading your creative as well.
19:35Just put in the comments down below, do the step by step meta ad video as well as your specific location in terms of either the country or the city. So I know exactly where you guys are from. So that I can make sure I tailor the video as best as possible so that you get as much value out of it.
19:50But this now brings me on to one of the final things that I wanna touch on in this video as to how Claude can help. Those of you that are looking to run meta ads and again this is something that maybe some people are talking about on YouTube, but me myself have not really come across that many people talking about it. And it's one of the most powerful things that you can do, which is the fact that you can connect your Facebook ad account directly to your Claude account.
20:12This is gonna be done with something called an MCP. Now there's multiple different mcps that you can connect to Claude and I've been using them now for the past couple months.
20:21And the reason why this is such a useful thing is because imagine being able to have a conversation with Claude about your meta ad account. E g you can say something like, can you check my ad to see how many clicks or conversions I've been able to get between this time and that time? Can you analyze the data and let me know if there's things that I can improve on?
20:40You know, there's so many different use cases. But first things first, let me show you some of the different mcps that are available. So once you're on your Claude account just like this, on the left hand side you're going to see customize.
20:52So if you just click on it just like that and then click on connectors. And these are some of the different MCP connectors that I'm currently using. But if you wanna see all of them, could just click on the plus icon and then browse connectors.
21:05And it's gonna be here where you're gonna see some well known names, you know. We've got things like Canva, Microsoft, Gmail, Notion, Google Drive.
21:12You know, there's so many and I would advise that you go through this so that you can find any that stands out to you that you're personally using. So that you can get more usage out of that website or that platform. But what you are going to notice is that Facebook or Meta isn't gonna be listed here.
21:26You can also search. If I just type in Meta just like that, let's see what comes up. Yep.
21:31So right there there is no Meta that comes up. I do have the custom connector and this is exactly what you're going to need to do. So I wanna show you exactly how to do this and I'm then gonna show you an example as to how it's able to look at a recent ad that I set up two days ago and it can come back with information.
21:50So what I'm gonna do is just close this down and I'm gonna go over here to the plus icon and click on add custom connector. And what you need to do is just give it a name. So I'm just going to call it meta ads and in this URL space, you just need to put this link.
22:07Ensure that it's exactly how it is as you can see on the screen right now and then you just need to click on add. And then what it's gonna do is that it's gonna take you through the login stage if you haven't already logged into your account. And you're going to need to confirm the permissions.
22:19Very straightforward. If you try it out right now, it's gonna work literally within ten seconds, maybe twenty seconds. But once you've done that and you wanna give it a test, what you can do is just click on the plus icon and start a new chat.
22:32Just make sure that it's turned on already. So if I click on the plus icon over here and then come over to connectors, as you can see meta ads is already turned on. So over here I could just give it a simple prompt.
22:43I'm just gonna say I need you to scan the ad that I set up a few days ago and tell me how many clicks, impressions, etcetera. It already has in a simple breakdown.
22:53I'm gonna leave it on Opus 4.8 and I'm just gonna click on enter. And as you can see, it's now pulling the information.
23:00It's looking at exactly what it's able to do and now it's looking for my ad account. So it's searching the custom m c p right there. You then need to give Claude permission for it to scan through your account.
23:11So for now, I'm just gonna click on always allow. But if you wanted to allow just once, this is something I might recommend you do if you're new to this. But I'm just gonna click on always allow.
23:21And right here as you guys can see, it's now come back with all this information. So this is an ad that I set up a couple days back, specifically targeting traffic. So not a sales ad, but nevertheless, we can see this data impressions, 12,000 reach clicks over 581 clicks in just a couple days.
23:40The CTR 4.53%. So all of this data is looking good and I can also see the total amount spent. So with this, I don't need to log directly in to my Meta account for me to check this information.
23:53Could I just log into my Claude, tell it to analyze the information, analyze the ad, look at everything and then come back with a solution on if I should kill the ad, if I should put more budget behind it, so on and so forth. Yeah guys, for the most part, I would say that those are some of the main ways that you can use the newest model of Claw to help you with your meta ads and things are only gonna get better, things are only going to improve.
24:16And I would say that this is the type of information that you need to know if you're looking to use AI to help you skyrocket yourselves with your digital product stores.
