Big Idea

The argument in one line.

An AI assistant only works as a social media manager when it has your brand context, your analytics, and posting access through connected tools, plus a human who reviews what ships.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • A founder or solo creator posting on YouTube, LinkedIn and short-form who wants an agent that drafts, schedules and reports from a phone.
  • Someone already using Claude who keeps stuffing every platform into one bloated chat and wants a cleaner structure.
  • A marketer curious how Claude, a scheduling API and a Notion content board can chain together into one automated pipeline.
SKIP IF…
  • You want a deep tutorial on writing scripts or hooks. The video focuses on setup and workflow, not content craft.
  • You need a no-cost stack. The setup relies on paid connectors such as a scheduling platform and an analytics middleman.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Shaz Mathew turns Claude Duet into a phone-based social media manager using five steps. First, give it context about your brand, goals and voice through connectors like GitHub, Google Drive and an analytics platform. Second, connect a scheduling platform via API key and a Notion content board so Claude can post and move cards on your behalf. Third, add an orchestrator chat for strategy. Fourth, run one channel per platform for LinkedIn drafts, reel covers and YouTube work. Fifth, always review output before anything publishes.

Where the time goes.

00:00 – 01:25

01 · What the setup delivers

Claim: an agent that schedules posts, makes graphics and acts as a 24-7 social manager, plus a five-step checklist.

01:25 – 05:00

02 · Step zero: set up channels

Why one chat per deliverable beats one long chat, per-platform versus per-stage channel options, and the phone app's missing folders.

05:00 – 08:40

03 · Step one: give Claude context and data

Brand summary test, connectors like GitHub, Drive and Gmail, analytics middleman, voice samples, and a live seven-day stats summary.

08:40 – 12:20

04 · Step two: connect posting platforms

Scheduler API key, Notion content board, and moving cards from the phone to trigger scheduling.

12:20 – 13:20

05 · Step three: orchestrator chat

One overview chat for strategy that spins up new platform channels.

13:20 – 16:40

06 · Step four: what each channel does

A LinkedIn draft from the last YouTube transcript and an Instagram reel cover generated on the phone.

16:40 – 18:36

07 · Step five: always review

Keep a human review layer, since unreviewed scheduling can misrepresent your brand.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • One chat per deliverable keeps Claude useful, because cramming LinkedIn, newsletter, YouTube scripts and thumbnails into one thread makes it bloated and overwhelming.
  • Ask your agent for a three-sentence summary of your brand. If it can't answer well, fix its knowledge base before touching anything else.
  • Claude cannot connect directly to social accounts, so you need a middleman platform that holds the connections and exposes an API.
  • Giving the agent context and data access is roughly 80% of the job of making it a competent social media assistant.
  • A good assistant doesn't just report analytics. It tells you what to do next based on what worked last week.
  • Chaining tools works: Claude moves a card in Notion, Notion triggers the scheduler, and the post goes out without you touching either.
  • Connecting a tool is as simple as pasting an API key into the chat and telling Claude what it unlocks.
  • Skills stored in GitHub let one prompt pull a YouTube transcript and hand it to a LinkedIn writer skill automatically.
  • An orchestrator chat for strategy plus one execution chat per platform mirrors how a real team splits planning from doing.
  • Examples of your own voice, in written or recorded form, are what keep generated scripts sounding like you instead of generic AI.
  • Mobile apps can lag desktop. The Claude Duet phone app lacked folders at recording time, even though chats sync both ways.
  • Agents sometimes stall. Typing a short nudge like 'great, output it' got a stuck task to finish.
  • Never let an autonomous posting setup run unreviewed on a personal brand, because one off-brand scheduled post can cost more than the automation saves.
Takeaway

Context, connections and review make an agent useful

WHAT TO LEARN

A social media agent is only as good as the context it knows, the tools it can act through, and the human who checks its output before it ships.

  • Split work into one chat per platform or per task so each stays focused, and add an overview chat for planning so strategy never gets buried in execution threads.
  • Test your agent with a short brand summary request. A weak answer means the knowledge base needs more of your goals, audience and voice samples before other steps matter.
  • Connect documents and repositories so the agent can read your background, goals and writing samples, which keeps drafts on voice instead of generic.
  • Route analytics through a middleman platform, since Claude cannot reach social accounts directly, then ask the agent for summaries and a concrete next move.
  • Pasting an API key from a scheduler into the chat gives the agent posting power, and chaining it with a Notion board lets a card move trigger a scheduled post.
  • Let the agent chain skills, such as pulling a video transcript and passing it to a LinkedIn writer skill that follows your format rules like a keyword and a P.S.
  • Always review drafts and graphics before they publish, and keep a person in the loop, because one off-brand scheduled post can hurt more than the time saved.

Claw Duet is Anthropic's latest release and for over a week now it has been blowing my mind. In the last video I showed you how to use it as a complete end -to -end personal assistant and a lot of you guys love that. So today I'm going to show you how to turn it into your full -time social media manager.
And no, this is not going to be a generic assistant like give me five content ideas or tell me what time to post. I'm going to show you everything. How Claw Duet can schedule posts for me, create thumbnails and graphics for me, and the capabilities and features that make it into a 24 -7 social media manager that I otherwise would be paying thousands of a month for.
I'll show you my exact five -step checklist for every platform on CloudDuet. And by the end of this video, you will have your own agentic social media manager that lives directly in your phone. You can reach at any time.
So let's dive into it. All right, now step number one is going to be super simple. And this is going to be setting up individual channels for every single task associated with social media.
And you have two options here. Your first option is what I'm about to show you. So if you go to cloud .ai slash messages, you could access CloudDuet through your browser.
I'm also going to show you what it looks like on the phone here in a second, and the one limitation that the phone and app actually has as of me recording this, but in the browser, you could see how I have everything organized on the left right here. I have my personal brand folder, and under that I have my channels.
Think about channels as specific chats to accomplish one single goal. The mistake a lot of people make is doing everything in one long chat, their LinkedIn posts, their newsletter, their YouTube script, creating... cover photos, thumbnails, all in one single chat, it gets super bloated and sort of overwhelming.
So you rather split every single thing up. So one chat is dedicated to one single deliverable. So I have my brand deals, any partnerships come through here, my personal brand content, this is sort of my overview, I go here for my analytics, this is my YouTube, my short form, so my TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and this is my LinkedIn.
So every single platform has a specific channel. And if you're new here, guys, I keep everything as real as possible. So I'm in the app right now.
And this is a genuine limitation that you should be aware of, you can see on my desktop here, that there is a folder that I could toggle and it's super organized. I just love the way that this looks.
They do not have folders yet in the app. So even if I press and hold, I cannot customize this or add a folder. So you see everything is all over the place, sort of.
I have my YouTube, I have my short form, I have my LinkedIn, and then up here I have my personal brand and my brand deal section. These should all fall under the personal brand folder on the mobile version. You just cannot see that.
Again, it's a limitation for now. But nonetheless, these channels all work the same and everything is synced both ways. I personally like the look.
of how it looks on the desktop. But the whole point of this app is this is a personal on -the -go assistant. So I could use this when I'm traveling, when I'm taking a walk.
So again, it's the same thing. It's just hopefully they in the future add like a folder structure. My brain just works that way where I like everything organized.
You might be the same way. And the last thing when it comes to setting up these channels is you have two options. So you have what I just showed you, which is you have one single channel per category.
So you have your written channel, which is your LinkedIn. You have your short form channel, which is your short form platforms. And you have your log form, which is your YouTube.
The other way you could do it is have one single channel, per unit of content creation. So in content creation, from start to finish, you have your ideation, your research, your titles, your scripting, your filming, your posting, your editing.
That is the entire spread of content creation. So if you want to organize yourself that way, you could also have a channel for ideation, have a channel for research, have a channel for titles, have a channel for scripting, have a channel, et cetera, et cetera, right? So that's too much for me, in my opinion.
I'd rather have a channel -specific, so like YouTube, Shoreform, LinkedIn channels instead of ideation, scripting, titles, but those are your two options. You either go with end -to -end content creation and channels associated. it with each step or you just do it per platform i prefer per platform whatever floats your boat you will get the same eventual results which i'm about to show you in this video so that is almost like step number zero just setting up channels in general organization either of those two options work depending on how you want to set it up now let's get to the true step number one which is giving everything to claude and claude duet so this is actually useful it doesn't give you slop like emojis and your scripts and all these different things all right i'm going to be in my phone because we're treating this as an assistant so you get the app experience again on the desktop there is that difference of the folders but we're going to continue.
Step number one is giving the agent and Claude Duet context. Context meaning who are you actually trying to target? What platform are you actually on?
What are your goals with social media? Is it going viral? Is it getting sales?
Is it doing both? Is it getting brand sponsorships? Is it using as a hiring funnel?
So Claude Duet needs context. Otherwise, all of the channels, nothing in the world is going to help you if it doesn't have the context. So one way that I know that this has context is I could say this.
Please give me a three sentence TLDR of my personal brand, what we're trying to accomplish, and just a general summary, almost like an elevator pitch, if you will. If you ask your cloud duet this and it cannot answer properly, you need to tweak your knowledge base and what you're feeding to cloud before anything else. And I'm going to show you how to do that in a second, because this answer is going to determine how well your scripts work, how your titles are formed, how well the editing process is.
Everything is determined by how much cloud knows. So it says my name, I'm an agency founder. These are my social media handles.
My goal are to tool explainer videos, cloud duet examples, et cetera. My goal is to grow to 50 000 subscribers on youtube absolutely partner with cool companies etc etc right and then it lists a little bit more about what my goals are here so like this is pretty accurate i have dialed this into a t in terms of what i want claude to know about me and there's a few things you need to do to make sure your cloud knows everything about you and your goals and all this is is using cloud connectors to connect claude and claude duet to your data now i know that sounds like super personal and private it doesn't have to be i'm going to show you how i go about it and this might sound scary but i use something called github i'm a heavy cloud code user and essentially all of the files that are stored on my MacBook right here are pushing to GitHub and then GitHub is connected to Cloud.
So Cloud could then see everything I have going on. It's a more holistic approach to giving Cloud context, but you don't have to do that. If you want to do a simpler version, just go to your account, go to connections.
You could also do this through the browser and then connect a few things like your Gmail, your Google Drive, your Google Docs, et cetera, et cetera. And what this is going to let you do is you could have one Google Doc with everything about you, who your company is, how long you've been around for, what your goals are, what your background is, all these different things.
And if your Google Doc is connected to Claude, then Claude will answer the question correctly of who you are and what your goals are, etc. The more information you give Claude, the better it's going to be. One other thing I highly recommend you guys connect is a platform like Corpus IQ or a platform like Fathom, which is recording your sales call or a platform like Windsor AI or vidIQ.
These are all going to help you track analytics through Claude. So Claude is connected to one of those platforms and those platforms are connected to your social medias. Thus, Claude can see your social media analytics.
For example, if I go back to my main chat here. please pull up the past seven days of my short form content. So my TikTok and my Instagram, as well as my YouTube, just give me a holistic summary.
So Claude could not do this if Claude was not connected to a platform that was connected to my social media. So there's a middleman there and you need that middleman platform. Claude directly cannot connect to any of your social medias.
It's just not something that's available at the moment. So you need an intermediary platform to be the middleman and give Claude that data. So giving Claude context and giving it access to data is like 80 % of the job here.
because now Claude could access what you're trying to do and where you currently are. It can help you bridge that gap of where you are with your analytics and your goals of where you're trying to go. That's the context.
This is a super important part. Please do not skip this. If you have questions, leave it down below.
The more you give Claude here, the more helpful this social media assistant will be for you and your company. Other pieces of context that you should include are examples of your voice. So if you have recorded content out there on the internet or even written content, I would put all of that into context for Claude, either through, again, GitHub or just Google Docs or Google Drive or Gmail, however you end up connecting that information to Claude.
you need to make sure Claude has that. Your brand voice is a big one. So the next steps I show you, which is like the scripting and the ideation and all these different things is on brand to not only what Claude thinks is right, but what you would actually say as a person.
a little hack for you while this loads is anything that's loading is automatically entered into your task list so you can see the active tasks that are working under the channel personal brand content are this so if i click on this i can see it's pulling my tick tock instagram and youtube stats comparing them with the week before and then writing the holistic summary for me all right so if anything is working or it's taking a little bit longer than you anticipate you could go to your tasks or just directly click on it within the claw duet app specifically so if i go to my tasks it's working and when it's done it will say like ready for your to check ready for review i'll review it if it needs work then we'll continue if it doesn't need work we'll hit mark as resolved and then it'll show up under here right so you can see i ran this last week um but i'm running it again fresh for you guys just to show you again what's working and what's not all right so it's just completed you can see it turned from like blue and loading to green so if i go to tasks some of the last seven days across tiktok instagram youtube what i just said is ready for my review so let's go to it right now give me a holistic summary there you go your week the last seven days youtube has the best week in a while amazing youtube 11k views watch hours blah blah blah my top video okay 70 came from all these things i need to know here's my tiktok and here's my instagram so it gave me summaries of every single thing possible
and then what to do next so not only is it summarizing and give me data collection something that's agentic something to want to help me personally be an assistant so this is a social media assistant assistant doesn't only report a good assistant tells you what to do next and what they think would help you out so i was going to say based on this go ahead and do some more duet videos go ahead and create some more of these videos etc all right so that is how helpful that is um and it's again because claw has access to the context the data all right guys step number one is done giving a cloud a context to your business step number two is very similar we're going to connect claude to software platforms that allow us to do these actions which is data analytics we already talked about this and scheduling scheduling is super important an assistant a proper assistant not going to only see what you've done and give you reports to be able to act on your behalf post stuff for you do things for you this is truly a game changer so in this platform right here this is called xernium not sponsored by them it's just something i particularly like to use especially at the cost that they offer it for you can see all my analytics
So that's one thing. So it acts as an analytics platform, but it acts as a posting platform. So if I go to my connections, you could see my TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, second YouTube, they're all connected here.
So if Claude is connected to this, I could just go to Claude and say, hey, post this for me. So you could see these scheduled videos, all of these published videos are all through this platform. I have not posted a video in a long time.
Claude does it for me because Claude has access to this platform right here. So first we give Claude context. Next we give it analytics.
Next we give it agentic activities, not even agentic, but really just activities or actions that it's able to take like posting videos. All right, we're going to get continued to the other stuff like creating thumbnails and banners and stuff like that in a second. But this is super important.
It's a little bit of a complex setup. So let me show you how it works. The first thing is you're going to need an API.
So if you go down here to API keys, you're going to create and then copy a key and give it to Claude. So hey, Claude, this is Zernio. This is going to let me schedule out posts.
Please connect to Zernio. So now Claude has access to Zernio. Zernio can schedule posts.
So thus, Claude can schedule posts. Really that simple. When you think about connectors and APIs and everything, which API is just something that connects two software platforms together, it really becomes powerful what you could do and just how you think about this stuff, right?
So that's all that's happening right here. Another thing I have set up, and I have a whole nother video coming on this. It should be on my channel already if you wanna check it out, how I've automated my complete end -to -end short form for the most part.
Probably takes me 30 minutes a week to do all my short form content, which is like 90 posts a month, which is a lot of volume. This is my short form content board. So this is in Notion.
Guess what? Cloud is connected to Notion as well. So I could see my scripts, what needs recording, editing, ready to.
review and what is approved to post. And this automation is set up with Zernio. So if something hits this, it will automatically be scheduled out.
So if I come here, if I go to my posts, I can see these are scheduled out. So with this logic, again, Claude is connected to Notion. Notion is connected to Zernio, right?
So everything is working together. You can see how we chain these different softwares together. If I go to my short form, I'm going to say, please go to the content engine in Notion, find the third video that needs scripting.
It should be called let Claude pick the right skills for any marketing job and go ahead and move that over to need. needs editing, actually needs recording. So the logic here is from my phone, I can be walking, I can be doing whatever, I could manipulate my Notion board, and my Notion board will tell my team what to edit, and it will also post for me.
So I could, instead of telling Claude to move it to needs recording, I could tell it to move to approved, meaning it will post for me. So that's the logic here. I'm not going to post this video because there's nothing to post.
Now, I didn't touch anything. Claude Duet just did that for me. right so you'll see side by side here that that just was moved to needs recording let's try another one so for the first two videos actually that needs script also move those to new recording so see my notion is being taken care of for me by this it's taking an action on my behalf and again it's because claude a duet and claude is set up with my xernio and set up with my notion by the same logic i could talk here it will move something to approved which will post it all right so i could actually post from my phone as well because everything is set up and everything is connected via cloud connectors and giving it access to the right software and permissions so let's just wait for this to happen as well boom those two just moved i didn't touch a thing so you can see i could be on the run i could post my content i can manage everything a true social media manager and agent and assistant could do stuff on your behalf which you just saw so that is step number two connecting the platform of claude duet to software that allow you to schedule out posts by the way if you've learned something so far i would love for you to drop a like and subscribe it helps me out a lot you'll see all of my videos on your feed going forward about growing your business your personal brand your marketing your social media using the latest technology in the ai space i cover it all
end -to -end and would love for you to join me on that journey. Now we are going to move on to step number three, which is sort of a simple one. We've sort of already gone over it.
So if I go back to my Claude Duet here, you can see that I have a few different chats. I have my personal brand content chats. I have my YouTube, Shoreform, and LinkedIn chat as well, which we already covered.
But this is a very quick tip for you as step number three, have a orchestrator chat. So my personal brand content, this is my overview chat for all of my other social media. So this is a place I go to strategize.
I go to plan. When I go to execute per platform, I go to my YouTube, my Shoreform, and my LinkedIn chats. All right.
So I highly recommend just creating an overview chat, an orchestrator chat, whatever you want to call it. This will allow you to keep everything organized.
So if I went to this chat and say, create me a new LinkedIn channel or create me a new newsletter channel because they're just launching a newsletter or I'm thinking about doing Reddit. How should we plan that out? That is why I want to have an overview chat and then I want to have platform specific chats after that.
Again, this is just how I stay organized. This is personally how my brain works. Keeping stuff organized is super important.
Otherwise it is overwhelming and sometimes it could hurt more than it helps. So make sure that you're setting up an overview chat or an orchestrator chat. And that's my step number three for you to make sure everything is organized.
And this is like the overseer of everything that we're doing. Now let's get into step number four. I'm gonna show you what these specific channels could actually do for you.
So my YouTube channel, this is everything about YouTube. And then. In my short form and LinkedIn channel, this is everything about my short form and LinkedIn.
I already started this process, but I basically went to my short form chat and I said, for my latest Instagram reel, create me a reel cover. So reel cover is basically a thumbnail for Instagram. So it's going to go to my latest reel, look at what it was about, pull the transcript, and then create an image that I could use for the Instagram reel, which is insane.
The same time, this is also running. I said, please go ahead and write me a LinkedIn post based on my last YouTube video. And what it's going to do is go to my last YouTube video, grab the entire transcript, pass that transcript to my LinkedIn writer skill, and then...
I'll put the stuff right here. Again, these things are happening at the same time and I could be on my phone. I could be walking, having dinner.
It doesn't matter. So let's see what it did. I'm going to click on the actual LinkedIn post.
Again, you can see it's ready for my review, right? Your LinkedIn draft is ready, built on the 10 types. So this is my last video, 10 tiny cloud features that keep you a top 1 % user for life.
There's the link, that's when it was public. And then this is my draft, all right? So this is how my LinkedIn posts would read.
When Opus 5 came out, almost everyone I know switched on that day one. I didn't. People on my sales calls asked me, blah, blah, blah, honest answer for my work, blah, blah, blah.
All right, so this is the entire post. And then this would be the LinkedIn post. Let me see if I could have it in a better way just to visualize it.
Is it possible you could send the entire thing in one text block? It's just easier for me to read. So I don't like the way it's split.
Like it's hard for me to read that. Let's see what it could come up with. But you could see, it went to my YouTube, it grabbed that.
pass it to my LinkedIn writer skill because step number one we accomplished, which is connecting Claude to all my skills, which are in GitHub. It's all my context. So now I can just interact with all this stuff here.
And here we go. So if I hit... Oh, open on this.
When Opus 5 came out, almost everyone on your switch that same day. I didn't keep all my sales calls. So I asked you the AI guy, which blah, blah, blah.
And then, yeah, so this is my LinkedIn posts and I trained it to have always a keyword and then always a PS, which it followed that to a T. And then I also always have for an alternative hook as well. So I could pick that hook.
All right. So again, super simple. That's the LinkedIn channel.
And that's what it's able to do. Now, my favorite stuff is just, it blows me away that you can actually create graphics and stuff from just this app. If I go to my short form right here, I'm still waiting for this to load.
This will be created. And if I go to make, this will also pop up here. All right.
So in my short form, the graphics that I actually make, again, everything is organized by channel. So YouTube is everything YouTube specific. LinkedIn is also LinkedIn specific, as you can see.
And then my short form is short form specific, which makes sense. One more thing you could also do, and I'll drop another video on this. So if I go to my YouTube, I could ask it to clip up my videos as well.
And I'll actually clip up those videos for me. It's a little bit more of a complicated setup there. So make sure you stay tuned for that video.
In the meantime, we're just going to see how this loads. I'm going to show you the actual graphic and real cover it will create for me. all from my phone all right guys and there it goes i said great give me a thumbs up and then output it again keep it real here i just noticed that sometimes it does get stuck um so i just said great and then it just output everything at the same time so it says your cover is ready blah blah It uses your headshot from your thumbnail kit.
Look at this. All right, so is that beautiful? No.
Does it work? Yes. Like I could easily use this for my Instagram.
Like I wouldn't be ashamed to use it. I'll probably clean up a few things, but 30 subscribers set up a club. If you go to my Instagram and go to my last reel, instead of the ugly reel cover, which you'll see right here, what it is, it'll have this, which looks much, much better, much more professional on brand.
It's my face, has my company name there. So again, that is created. in a Claw Duet app, which is insane.
If I go to make, you should also be able to find it over here. I can't seem to find it right here, but it should be here somewhere. This is where all of these end up eventually.
Maybe I have to approve it. But anyways, I'll say it looks good. Obviously you can make changes if you want to.
It will be taken off of this task list right here. And then that's pretty much it. So again, it could create graphics for you on the go.
This could be carousels. This could be story posts. If you want to create story posts on the go as well.
It's pretty cool. And obviously you could see that it is useful. All right, now moving on to step number five, I would be doing you a complete disservice if I did not mention how important this is.
is so far we've covered step number one connecting cloud to your context step number two connecting cloud to data analytics and scheduling capabilities step number three the orchestrator chat so having an orchestrator chat to help you plan everything out and organize channels and step number four which are those channels linkedin specific short form specific how it could create real coverage for you how to script out your linkedin stuff so all those different things step number five is as much as a script and ideate and edit and post and create graphics always check what's going on never let this blindly run especially for your personal brand we have done well over seven figures for our clients through personal branding and social media.
We've worked with a lot of businesses. We've posted hundreds, if not thousands of videos and generated thousands and thousands of leads. You need to check what's going out because this is a representation of you and your business.
As agentic and amazing and cool as this is, have a review layer of a human or a team member or someone else, right? I know this is meant to replace a lot of your editors and your media team. That could be the case, maybe downsizing that team, but please have someone have eyes on what's going on here.
This is meant to increase the speed and efficiency at which we work, not so much replace. every single thing, because if it's not looked over, we have seen things go wrong where it will schedule something out that doesn't really represent you. And then it's hurting way more than has the potential of helping you, right?
So just step number five is make sure everything is seen and going out. Again, we're taking your creation time from like hours and hours and hours a month to like 30 minutes, if you really run the system right. And with that, that is the entire setup.
And everything I covered is on my phone right here. So I could go take a walk. I could go hang out with friends and everything is working for me in the background.
Social media is one of the most important things businesses need to have going forward. It's a need now, like you need to have attention. If you don't have attention on your business, it's gonna be very hard to compete over the next decade.
Now you can run it from ClawDuet in your phone and have your own social media agent literally in your pocket. So if you enjoyed this video, leave me a like, subscribe, and a comment about what you want to see next. If you wanna book in a call and work with us on growing your own social media presence and the actual strategy to execute through ClawDuet, go ahead and I'll leave that link down below.
Would love to chat with you about that. Finally, I will leave this video right here, which is even better than this one that you just watched. and I will see you in our next video.
