Big Idea
The argument in one line.
A small team of specialized AI agents with human approval at each step can replace thousands of dollars a month in editors, schedulers and assistants without making the content feel like slop.
Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
A solo creator posting on several platforms who is stuck on editing costs, scheduling tool fees or the volume needed to grow.
Someone already using an AI agent app who wants a concrete map of which creator jobs are worth handing over first.
A creator losing brand deals or leads because DMs pile up faster than anyone can answer them.
SKIP IF…
You want a step-by-step setup tutorial with exact prompts and config. This is an overview of jobs and results, not a build guide.
You are fully against automating anything that touches your social accounts or logins.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
Elisa credits a team of Grokbot agents, run through a chief-of-staff bot in Slack and Notion, for 1.5 million Instagram views and 100,000 YouTube views in 30 days. The eight jobs are scanning outlier posts for ideas, drafting bullet-point scripts, editing shorts from skill files stored in GitHub, posting and trial reels, clipping her podcast, triaging DMs, keyword auto-replies, and generating explainer animations. She approves every step and writes her own captions. She pays about $200 per month and estimates the same work would cost thousands in contractors and subscriptions.

Outlier scanners for YouTube, Instagram, X and Substack feed ideas into Slack and Notion, saving 10 to 20 hours a week.
04:46 – 07:42
03 · Turning them into scripts
The chief of staff has the copywriter bot prepare bullet-point scripts and media after she approves an idea in Slack.
07:42 – 12:03
04 · Editing short videos
An editor bot reads skill files from GitHub and edits footage from Google Drive with titles, captions and animations.
12:03 – 15:33
05 · Posting for me
The bot logs into Instagram to schedule posts and trial reels, replacing a $60 per month scheduler.
15:33 – 17:39
06 · Clipping the podcast
Hour-long New Wave episodes are turned into 15 to 20 captioned clips, with a human clipper checking quality.
17:39 – 18:38
07 · Reading my DMs
A DM scanner flags brand deals fast and can draft replies she sends with one button.
18:38 – 20:03
08 · Auto-replying
Keyword DMs deliver lead magnets and newsletter links, replacing ManyChat and Tweet Hunter.
20:03 – 21:30
09 · Building animations
A YouTube branding guide in GitHub lets the bot generate an explainer animation every 5 to 10 seconds.
21:30 – 24:48
10 · What it all costs
About $200 per month for Grokbot versus thousands for a social media manager, editors, animators and tools.
Atomic Insights
Lines worth screenshotting.
An outlier is a post that beats its own channel's average, so a video with 100x the usual views signals a topic or format worth copying.
Outlier scanning works on any platform because it compares a piece of content to the same source's baseline, not to the whole internet.
Formats that outperformed in March are not the ones outperforming now, so trend tracking has to run continuously in fast niches like tech.
Bullet-point scripts keep a video pointed somewhere without making the delivery sound read aloud.
A chief-of-staff agent that delegates to specialist agents means the creator talks to one bot instead of managing five.
Editing quality comes from feedback, not the first draft: the first videos an agent edits will probably be bad, and the skill file improves with every correction.
Skill files saved in GitHub let an agent reload the same editing style, fonts, brand colors and animation taste every time.
Sending an agent a link to a reel or video you like lets it analyze the edit and turn it into a reusable skill.
Agents that log into Instagram like a person can search, read DMs and add music, which API-based schedulers cannot do.
Trial reels show content to non-followers, which makes them a cheap way to test hooks and formats at volume.
Posting ten versions of the same piece per day through trial reels turns hook testing into a volume game.
Missing a brand-deal DM for 5 to 24 hours can lose the deal, so a DM scanner that pings you pays for itself.
Keyword-triggered DM replies turn any post into a lead magnet delivery, and they work on X as well as Instagram.
Explainer videos need a visual every 5 to 10 seconds, and an agent given the script and a brand guide can generate them.
Keeping human approval at each step is what keeps AI-assisted content from reading as slop.
Takeaway
Delegate the chores, keep the judgment
WHAT TO LEARN
Agents earn their cost on repeatable work like research, editing, scheduling and DM triage, while taste, captions and final approval stay with the creator.
02Finding viral ideas
Scanning for posts that beat their own channel average by large multiples shows which topics and formats are working right now, and it applies to every platform.
Trends in tech shift monthly, so outlier scanning has to run continuously instead of once.
03Turning them into scripts
A chief-of-staff agent that routes approved ideas to specialist bots keeps the creator in one chat while the full package gets built.
Bullet-point scripts give a video direction while leaving delivery natural, which avoids the stiff feel of reading a full script.
04Editing short videos
Editing agents improve through repeated feedback saved into skill files, and early drafts will be weak, so plan to train them over weeks.
Voice-note brain dumps of feedback give an agent more context than short typed corrections and speed up skill refinement.
Sending reference reels or videos lets an agent extract an editing style into a reusable skill instead of describing it from scratch.
05Posting for me
Agents that act through a real logged-in browser session can do things API-based schedulers cannot, such as adding music and reading DMs.
Trial reels let you post many hook variations to non-followers each day, turning content testing into a volume exercise.
06Clipping the podcast
Podcast clipping works best with a human quality check, since an agent can find 15 to 20 candidate moments from a single episode link.
07Reading my DMs
Slow replies cost deals, so an alert on brand-deal DMs plus a one-button drafted reply protects revenue that a busy inbox would lose.
08Auto-replying
Keyword-triggered DM replies convert posts into newsletter signups or lead magnet deliveries without a monthly automation fee.
09Building animations
Animations every 5 to 10 seconds, generated from a script and a stored brand guide, make technical explainers easier to follow.
10What it all costs
Comparing the monthly tool cost to the contractor and subscription fees it replaces is how to judge whether an agent setup is worth it.

I gave Grokbot complete control over my social media. In the last 30 days, I got 1 .5 million views on Instagram and over 100 ,000 views on YouTube, gaining over 500 subscribers on YouTube with only three videos posted. and over 300 new followers on Instagram.
My newsletter also passed 1 ,000 subscribers. X is my main platform, so I've been trying to grow my Instagram and my YouTube. The team behind all of this is literally just me, my human assistant Zoe, and my Grogbot team.
So today I'm going to go through my whole setup in nine chapters, step by step from finding the ideas that will hopefully go viral, editing my videos, clipping my long -form videos, answering dms and helping me find good hooks and scripts we'll also talk about what it actually costs versus hiring someone to do this so number one we have finding viral ideas this is a key key key component when it comes to making good content and this should always be mixed in with your own niche and your own ideas i wouldn't ever fully rely on ai to find content ideas because it is still kind of obvious if you're relying too much on ai and you're removing the component.
So I have a few different bots that help me find these ideas and this saves me easily 10 to 20 plus hours every single week because I would need to research all of this manually and now I just get pinged every day or whenever I want an idea I just ping my Grokbot and then it will provide it to me and it's all data backed.
So the way this works is I actually have a formula that scans outliers. So let's say I'm trying to scan outliers on Substack. it's going to go to newsletters in my niche and it's going to find which articles or which notes, which are like posts on Substack, are outperforming other articles or posts on that same newsletter.
And that's the way you find winning formats and winning topics. And it's applicable to literally any social media platform, whether that's YouTube, whether it's X, Instagram, TikTok, you can apply this formula to any platform. So for example, if a YouTube channel usually gets a thousand views on...
average on their videos and they hit a video that has a hundred thousand views that's basically a 100x outlier and that piece of content has a lesson in there. There's a reason that went viral and the topic is probably being searched by people or it's just very relevant right now. so i actually have outlier bots running for youtube instagram x and substack so that i'm aware of everything that's going on in my niche and i know what people really want to see because the content that was outperforming in march is not the content that's outperforming today especially in the tech niche because things move so fast and there's always new products new ideas new matters So yeah, it's very, very important to keep track of current trends and just have pulse on the market.
And these bots helped me tremendously. As I mentioned, I do use most of these ideas. although i am thinking of a lot of content ideas by myself these really help me fill the gaps so if for example i'm posting two reels a day on instagram and i'll get like a random idea for reels i'll film them but i still need to make sure that i'm hitting the quota and having these outlier scanners really helps what's super amazing as well is that i've actually set up a workflow where my chief of staff so my like head agent pings me in slack and it sends me the notion link for the outlier that is scanned and there it will have like a draft and then once I approve the idea it will then push it to content calendar and it will write a full brief for the post so yeah this has automated basically all of my planning and it's just like a really smooth process for me so yeah I really appreciate it and these outlier scanners make sure that I'm on top of any topic in AI business and tech
so before having a good idea of what is working well for example on youtube i was kind of making random videos i was listening to my community i was filming vlogs i actually posted two vlogs they did decent considering my following on youtube but they didn't do super well and ultimately my goal was to grow in the tech niche so when i started planning for ai videos i was like okay you know this is what interests me for example grokbot what kind of format is an outlier right now and then i use that format to help me create create a viral video and it's worked.
I had a video with around 11K views, one with 19K views and one close to 8K views, I believe. And yeah, these are my first three videos. And I will just continue to repeat this process and make sure that I'm delivering very, very good content within these viral formats.
And again, because this is all data backed, it saves me so many hours. And I know for a fact that these formats will be popular because these are the topics that people want to hear about. So number two, turning them into scripts.
So I started to touch on this topic in the previous chapter, but this is basically a way for my Grogbot to prepare scripts. And I don't like to have... written out scripts like word to word because i don't believe it's natural and i prefer to you know explain myself like right now with my own experiences and my own thoughts so what i have is actually bullet points and that helps me guide the direction of the video because whether it's youtube instagram or even substack articles you do need to have a direction you're going in with your content like there needs to be a point to the content you're making it can't just be unstructured right so this grokbot helps me make sure that i hit all the points I want to be hitting.
And this is a very smooth process. I don't need to go into Grogbot and prompt the script writer or the content writer. Everything is done through my chief of staff.
So once I approve an outlier idea, whether that's through Slack or through the Grogbot app, my chief of staff now knows to go and tell the copywriter to prepare the bullet point scripts. to prepare the media that I'm going to use in my article or in my videos. And it basically packages the entire content idea.
And I can use this content idea for reels. I can use it for YouTube videos. I can also use it for Substack articles or any posts on, let's say, LinkedIn and X.
but yeah i've been using it for instagram youtube and sub stack the most like i mentioned the way this works in actuality is i get a ping in slack and it says the name of the topic and it kind of explains it and then it gives like the multiplier so for example if it's a 33x outlier i know that it's a pretty powerful outlier it's not just a 2x it has outperformed a channel by 33x so i should probably be looking at it a bit deeper and then if i like the idea i will reply to chief of staff in slack and tell it okay this is approved i like this idea and then it knows to go and prepare it fully so then when i'm ready to film content everything is there and i have everything i need for the editing too so every time it scans outliers it will push it to slack but before that it will actually go into notion content ideas dump and it will draft a page there and then once i've approved it in slack it will go back into notion and it will push the final fully packaged version of the content
in content calendar so it's ready to be produced and scheduled. And again, what's great about this is that I can collaborate in Slack with my Grogbot and also my assistant Zoe. So if I need any extra media or I need her to go and produce some media with AI, she has full visibility over the whole process.
And chief of staff can even ping Zoe if needed. Every step of the way, there is human intervention and human approval because I do really, really care about my content. I don't want it to be slop.
I don't want it to be badly written. I want it to be me. So yeah, this is pretty much like an enhancer I'm using AI here as a co -creator I'm not using it to replace me.
Number three we have editing my short videos this one is a complete game changer because I actually used to pay around $40 per short video even with the most simple animations ever and I still to this day use CapCut a little bit but most of it is being edited by my Grogbot and yeah it's an absolute game changer it'll add little animations which I couldn't make on my own it'll add the title with captions and any logos that are relevant.
I used to pay my editor hundreds to thousands of dollars every single month. So yeah, this one has really, really helped me reduce costs. And honestly, the end result is the same, if not better.
Because when I add animations, that's actually usually way more expensive with an editor. Like they will charge you hundreds of dollars, even for a short form video, if you have elaborate animations. And now the elaborate animations are so easily made with AI.
All they need is like certain skills and references. So what I do is I put all of my raw footage, in google drive and then i put any media like let's say screenshots in google drive as well then my editable reads skill files that i've made specifically for my style of editing so it'll know my fonts it'll know my branding colors it'll know the kind of animations that i like it'll know that i like you know when i'm talking about an app let's say github there's the github logo and it's like you know with the rounded corners like it knows everything about me and the videos that i like and to create the skill i've given my group a lot of feedback so every time it gives me a video i'll often have like a little bit of feedback every single time because i am a little bit of a perfectionist so yeah it helps to refine the skill over time as well and this skill is saved in github so what i do is i connect the github plugin in grokbot and then that means that my grokbot can always access the skill files and it can create new skill files if needed as well so for example for a talking head i have two styles of videos i have a split screen where there's an elaborate animation above and then me below and it has captions a title and the animations are pretty high -end to be honest like
again that the kind of animations that you would pay a lot for with an editor and then the other style is just me the talking head the title the captions and maybe some little media so these are two different types of skills because they're two different types of videos so i use two different files for these and the first versions it produces especially when it comes to video editing will probably be bad because you do need to train it so The best recommendation I can give you is to open the voice note in Grogbot and just kind of brain dump everything you're thinking about the video and how it could be better.
And also recommend that your Grogbot goes and checks GitHub and finds animation skills like using Remotion and other apps like that. And then it will like install any plugins it needs and it will be able to create a lot better animations. Also an underrated way is to provide references.
So if you like certain reels or YouTube videos, videos or any other edits that you find, just send a link and then your Grogbot will analyze it and it can even create a skill file out of what it's analyzing so you can reuse it later. The editor Grogbot is actually the Grogbot that I talk to directly the most.
All the other bots I usually go through Chief of Staff because it's easier. It's like everything in one place. But the editor bot I prefer to talk to directly in the Grogbot app.
I just feel like it's a smoother experience and that means that nothing is lost in translation either. And yeah, I think this is probably my favorite one because this is the group that saves me the most money. And I think once I train it to the point of perfection where like it's really up to my standard, this is going to be an absolute machine when it comes to creating and automating content.
Like I'm going to be able to post so much more. And, you know, in this day and age, volume is everything. Like the more you can post on YouTube and Instagram, the better, the faster you'll grow, especially if you still retain that high.
quality and you're creating high value content, which is my goal and which is why I'm growing pretty fast. The only thing missing from that is volume. And yeah, usually it's pretty hard because you have bottlenecks such as costs, editing costs.
But yeah, with AI, that kind of disappears. Also, training it was way easier than expected. So even if something seems complicated, I highly encourage that you just try it out because you really don't know.
It might be a lot easier than you expect. Number four is posting for me. This is a game changer when it comes to actually scheduling posts.
So this is when Grogbot posts your videos for you, whether that's on Instagram and YouTube. This is probably very underrated just because scheduling apps are actually really expensive. I was paying about $60 per month for Later .com.
Sometimes wouldn't even upload it in 4K, which was really annoying because it's like I'm paying for a scheduling tool and it's not even putting it in full quality. So in this case, you have kind of two choices. You can automate it fully to the point where when your editor Grokbot has finished the edit and put it in Drive in 4K quality, you can then have an auto kind of scheduler where a Grokbot where we'll go, fetch that video from Google Drive, put it in Instagram, set the captions, the hashtags, any trending music if you want, and then it can post or it can schedule it or it can even go into trial reels.
I actually prefer to not have that automated because I still really like to keep control over my social media. So what I do is I'll have it post specifically some videos. So for example, if I created a guide video, I'm like, okay, post this on Wednesday at 3 p .m.
And then it will go and do that process. And when it comes to captions and hashtags, you can also have your copywriter Grogbot to write it. But again, I do prefer to have that personal touch.
So I actually write all of my captions and hashtags. Sometimes I get some suggestions on like how to make it better. But to be honest, I always prefer when I write my own.
I think this Grogbot is the most helpful when it comes to trial reels because trial reels are definitely an untapped way to grow. And I've been making use of them, but I should make use of them more. Trial reels basically show your content to everyone that isn't a follower so it really helps you to test which formats are good and which videos could go viral i've actually had a couple of viral videos come from trial reels and yeah i think generally content creators especially on instagram should use it more so this grogbot allows you to post trial reels so you can give it a simple prompt like let's post 10 versions of this guide video that we made together and i want you to post you know every time we batch content i want you to post 10 versions of each post every single day and that way you're getting a lot of volume you're able to test hooks and different visuals and see which people like more so the key here is that grogbot now has a feature that allows you to log into any app or social media without actually revealing sensitive info in the chat so i'm able to give grogbot access to my instagram
I just enter my email, my password, and then it can basically browse Instagram. Again, this is a game changer because most scheduling tools function with an API. So they don't have actually direct access to your Instagram.
They can't check DMs. They can't go and search. They can't post and add music.
So yeah, this is a big, big unlock. Like they have limitations, but when Gropo has full access, there are no limitations really. When it comes to captions, I do have it trained on my own voice.
So technically, I could fully automate it. But as I said, I do prefer to keep a little bit of control over this. And yeah, again, I'm saving over $60 per month.
And with later .com, I still had to write all of the captions, find the hashtags, and I couldn't add audios directly. So it's like I'm paying for a service and I'm not even getting the full package. Also, if I was to hire a social media manager or a content manager, it would cost me over $3 ,000.
I think probably even $5 ,000 a month. So I'm saving a lot of money just by using Grogbot and it's just crazy to think that we live in times where we can do that. Number five, clipping the podcast.
So the podcast is kind of like a sidebar, but I still wanted you to know this. We actually film with my business partner, Sanjay. We have a podcast called New Wave, and we have interviews and also episodes where we discuss news together.
And we have a lot of content. We have like, you know, one to two episodes every single week. And these are hour long episodes.
And Grogbok can go and clip that content. So if you go to our Instagram, if you go to our YouTube, you can actually see all of the shorts that are produced by AI. And we do have a clipper as well.
So he basically quality controls everything. But still, like if we didn't have our clipper, we would still be able to. you know post volume on social media and get a lot of views and get more viewers and listeners to our podcast in the end and i think the highlight here is just how easy it is so all you have to do is give a link to the clipper so i give like the youtube link to the podcast and then it'll go and find let's say 15 to 20 clippable moments it'll add captions and titles and it'll make sure that the clip makes sense like again with feedback and with the right skill markdown files it'll do a very good job you can also fully automate this so we have our human clipper to actually do this process for us which is amazing but again it could definitely be automated If it knows that every single Friday at 2 p .m.
Dubai time, we're posting a YouTube video, it'll know to go and scrape YouTube, take the link and then do the clips. So you can pretty much have a hands off approach. But as I think you've gathered from this video, I actually prefer to still have a hands on approach.
So we don't automate it fully yet. As I mentioned a little bit earlier in the video, the costs on this are massive. For a very well edited reel, it can be like $100 to $300 per reel.
And it doesn't matter how long. it is it could be 30 seconds it will still be that expensive when they add like a lot of animations and like cinematic visuals and things like this and a simple edit would be around 15 to 50 so we are saving so much money every single week just by using ai number six we have reading my dms i use this mostly for x but instagram is also pretty good and i've actually made thousands of dollars like this because sometimes i receive deal requests in my dms and it's very very hard to keep up because My DMs are very, very full.
So sometimes I miss some messages and my human assistant also misses some messages. So to have this scanner and have it ping us when there's a message that we should reply to very fast, it's so helpful and it has literally made me money. Also, a lot of these brand deals are often sensitive because they're around launches in like tech products and AI products.
So if I don't reply within like 24 hours, sometimes it's even like five hours. I lose the deal. The best part about this is that my Gropbot can actually reply for me.
So if I'm like occupied, I'll be like, okay, draft a reply. And then I just press one button and it will send the message and it will reply. And yeah, it's that easy.
So not only has this made me thousands of dollars in brand deals, it also saves me and my assistant time. So we can focus on the stuff that actually moves the needle. Number seven, auto replying.
If you're watching this, you must have heard about ManyChat. ManyChat is an automation on Instagram where you basically comment a keyword and then you'll receive an automated DM from the creator and they'll use it for lead magnets, for registering to an email list and literally anything that you can come up with.
You can get very creative with these automations, but ManyChat costs a lot of money. ManyChat costs anywhere between $0 on the free plan and $139 per month. So this works very similarly, but I mainly use it for X actually.
And if I post something, I'll basically say, DM me the keyword send, let's say, And then every time someone DMs me send, it will send back a lead magnet or a website or my newsletter. I actually mainly use these automations to drive newsletter subscribers and it works really, really well.
This is how you can turn posts into lead generators. And actually there's an app that does this called Tweet Hunter. And I was paying like over $100 per month and it did not work.
It was always bugging. Whereas with Grogbot, I've actually never had an issue. And yeah, as a content creator, like the more you grow, the harder your inbox is to manage.
And these kind of automations you cannot do manually, especially if you want to be replying to people fast and you want them to get the value fast. If you're giving like, let's say lead magnets, you don't want them to wait 48 hours for your DM. So yeah, automating these things really, really helps.
Number eight, building my animations. This is one of my favorite things to do for YouTube because when it comes to explainer videos like these, you need visuals. to be able to see what the person is talking about and literally all three of my AI videos so far have had AI created animations.
Obviously I gave specific instructions and it's trained on the script of my video but this is a game changer. Again this would have cost so much money if I had to hire an editor or I asked my editor to add animations because it takes a lot of time to create without AI. So what I do is I keep a branding guide specifically for my YouTube videos in GitHub.
And then every time I have filmed a video or I'm about to film a video, I'll give my GropBot the script, the name of the video and the chapters. And then it will go and connect to the GitHub skill and then it will generate animations. And I usually tell it, okay, I want animations every five to 10 seconds to explain what I'm talking about.
And then it will generate them. And my Grogbot editor bot can then go and add them in. Super, super, super useful as the viewer.
You can follow along with what I'm saying and it actually makes sense. Like it's really hard to imagine things, especially when it comes to technical stuff like AI without seeing it visually. I'm a super visual.
person so i can get this and i am just so so grateful to live in a time where i can easily create this and i don't have to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars for it and lastly what it all costs so we went over the eight jobs that my grokbots handle and now let's talk about how much this actually costs compared to hiring people little disclaimer i am not against hiring people i think that's great but i personally can't afford to hire someone for each of the jobs that i just mentioned so having ai really really helps me build my business to the standard that i want it to be without having to spend so much money and what i love about this is that it lowers the barrier to entry in general like you do not have to have a lot of money to invest now if you want to create a business or start creating content you can just master ai and master these skills and it will help you get so far with so little.
So I actually started building automations and workflows like this in January, 2026. I have tried so many different AI agents. I have tried Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw, Codex.
I have tried many and Grokbot so far has actually been the best. I actually find that they improve it more and more every single week. And it just makes more sense to me.
And it's easier to integrate into all of my apps. The reason I turned to AI is because I wanted to expand from X to YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Substack. And I feel like I'm forgetting one.
But yeah, I wanted to expand beyond my just singular platform. And AI is what has allowed me to do that, which is why I'm sharing all of this with you today. And again, it's just me and my assistant Zoe and the editors that we have as independent contractors.
So I'm currently paying $200 per month for Grokbo and this may seem like a lot, but when you think about how much I'm saving compared to if I was hiring actual people to do these jobs, it's pretty crazy. So for example, social media manager, let's say $4 ,000 per month, then every reel around $15 to $100 plus, then scheduling apps at $60.
dm automations at a hundred dollars this all adds up animators probably at you know 500 per video so yeah all in all it does save me a lot more than it costs me and again there is a human layer because i do look at every detail i never let grogbot handle absolutely everything i give it a lot of feedback and i think that's why i've had such good results with it is because i'm always giving feedback like almost every day and even though you don't have to do this it is a lesson in that you know the more feedback you give it the better And my suggestion with this is actually to lengthen your prompts.
So do make sure that you're opening the voice note and that you're brain dumping when you get feedback. And yeah, the best thing about this is that my Grogbots handle all the nitty gritty kind of like annoying work that I wouldn't like to do anyway. So I can focus on the content strategy, on the creative direction.
And yeah, just like the bigger picture, basically. If you like this video and it gave you a lot of insight, I would recommend the first AI video I ever posted on this channel because I do go through how I increase my income from $8 ,000 a month to $40 ,000 a month by expanding across different social media platforms thanks to AI.
And I tell you step -by -step exactly how I achieved it. If you like this video, make sure to subscribe, leave a comment below, like, and I'll see you next time.
