Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Content ideation stops being guesswork once you treat 2-3 proven "model creators" in your niche as a stencil, studying why their outlier videos worked before rebuilding the concept in your own voice.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You post content consistently but can't find a repeatable way to come up with ideas that land.
  • You already have defined content pillars but no system for spotting what's currently working within them.
  • You're comfortable studying other creators' structure and format in detail without copying their scripts.
SKIP IF…
  • You're looking for distribution, posting-cadence, or monetization tactics — this video is entirely about the ideation step.
  • You want a tool-free method only — the back half is a walkthrough of a paid research platform the video is sponsored to promote.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Most creators struggle with content ideation, not execution, because they're guessing instead of studying what's already proven. The fix is to pick 2-3 "model creators" per content pillar, track their outlier videos (posts that massively outperform their own average), and break each one into its idea, hook, format, and aesthetic. From there, rebuild the concept, never the script, with your own niche and value layered on top: keep proven structural choices like pacing or text treatment, replace the actual message. The same system works in reverse on your own back catalog, where reposting content that already proved itself (a "trial reel") can earn a second wave of views from an idea the algorithm has already rewarded once.

01 · The Opportunity in Attention

States the opportunity: attention earned online converts into brand deals, digital products, coaching, or physical product sales, with Alex's own clothing brand doing $4.5M in under two years.

00:53 – 01:58

02 · Why Now Is the Best Time to Grow

Argues today's stronger algorithms make growth easier than ever because they now expose clear data on what's currently working, removing the follower-count luck factor of earlier eras.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • An outlier score measures how many times better a single video performed versus that creator's own average, not against other creators.
  • A model creator doesn't need to be a competitor — it's anyone whose audience, niche, or content style is close enough to study as a reference point.
  • Deliberately liking, sharing, and saving content across 10-20 niche-specific searches can retrain a feed's algorithm within 24-48 hours.
  • The line between inspiration and theft is the script: copying a structure or aesthetic is fair game, copying the value word-for-word is not.
  • A clothing brand built entirely on organic posting did $4.5 million in sales in under two years once its founder learned to earn attention first.
  • Reposting a piece of content that already went viral more than two months ago, a "trial reel," can pull a second wave of views from the same proven idea.
  • Spending one to two hours generating a batch of ideas in advance produces more intentional content than scrambling for an idea on filming day.
  • A creator who has to fully script every sentence probably isn't authoritative enough on the topic to be making the content in the first place.
  • Treating your own feed as a research tool instead of a doomscroll turns ordinary browsing time into competitive intelligence.
  • Auditing which of your own posts spiked, and why, is the same ideation process turned inward on your own data.

A system for finding ideas that actually work

THE IDEATION SYSTEM

Content ideation stops being guesswork once you treat 2-3 proven creators in your niche as a stencil: study why their outlier videos worked, then rebuild the concept with your own value and voice.

01The Opportunity in Attention
  • Attention is the raw material: once you can reliably earn eyes on your content, you can monetize it through sponsorships, your own products, or coaching.
  • A personal brand doesn't require an existing audience to start monetizing — a physical product line reached $4.5 million in sales in under two years purely from organic posting.
02Why Now Is the Best Time to Grow
  • Mature algorithms now surface clear, visible data on what content is currently working, which removes the guesswork that slowed earlier creators down.
  • A brand-new account used to need months of slow build-up before the algorithm would show it to anyone; stronger algorithms now reward good content faster regardless of follower count.
03The Tracing-Paper Analogy
  • Studying a proven structure and reusing its "stencil" is how skills compound over time, the same way tracing over outlined art eventually builds the ability to freehand draw well.
  • Taking inspiration from already-favored content increases the odds the algorithm favors your version too, since you're building on a structure it has already rewarded.
04Training the Algorithm Manually
  • Algorithms are built to maximize time on platform, so they show you more of whatever you already engage with, which means your own likes and saves are a lever you can pull on purpose.
  • Searching niche-specific keywords and deliberately liking, sharing, and saving good creators' posts for 10-20 terms can retrain your feed within 24-48 hours.
  • Treating your feed as a research tool rather than a doomscroll turns ordinary browsing time into competitive intelligence.
05Finding Model Creators
  • A "model creator" is anyone with a similar audience, niche, or content style worth studying as a reference point, not necessarily a direct competitor.
  • Aim for 2-3 model creators per content pillar so you have multiple reference points instead of over-indexing on one creator's style.
06Reading the Outlier Score
  • An outlier score compares a single video's performance against that creator's own average, so a 7.4x or 18.7x score flags which specific videos are worth studying, not just which creators are popular.
  • Near-miss or average-performing posts carry little signal; the videos worth reverse-engineering are the clear outliers.
07Idea and Hook Analysis
  • Breaking a winning video down into its idea, hook, format, and aesthetic separately makes it possible to identify which specific element the algorithm is rewarding.
  • Copying someone's value or script word-for-word is the line not to cross; what transfers is the structure, pacing, and presentation, not the content itself.
08Remixing Without Copying
  • Feeding a winning video's concept into an AI assistant along with your own niche and audience context produces an idea shaped for your content, not a reskin of someone else's.
  • The goal is to keep the proven aesthetic and structural choices (countdown timers, text pop-ups, color grading) while completely replacing the underlying value and message.
09Generating Ideas and Batch Planning
  • Full word-for-word scripts aren't necessary or even desirable — a creator should know their subject well enough to speak from bullet points and subtitle-level concepts.
  • Spending one to two focused hours generating a batch of ideas up front leads to more intentional filming than scrambling for an idea the day you shoot.
10Trial Reels, Data Tracking, and the Pitch
  • A "trial reel" is reposting your own content that already proved itself more than two months ago, which can generate a second wave of views from the same proven idea.
  • Auditing which of your own posts spiked and why is the same ideation process turned inward, and it's what separates creators who keep improving from those who don't.

Growing your personal brand on social media has never been easier than it is today and in this video I'm going to explain exactly why that is and how you can capitalize off of this massive opportunity. So first before I show you guys I just want to explain the opportunity with social media and why it's such a massive thing.
The whole angle of social media is if you can learn how to attract attention then you can package that intention and monetize in a variety of different ways. For example A brand will pay you to promote your products to the followers that you're having.
You can make your own digital products or you can have a coaching or a service, whatever it might be that you are then selling to your audience. You can build your own physical product the same way that I did with my clothing brand. We did four and a half million dollars in sales in less than two years with just organic posting because I knew how to attract attention.
And once you can get eyes on something, then you can monetize those said eyes. So that opportunity is massive. The issue and the thing that people struggle with the most is how do I get the attention?
I'm sure you've been posting plenty of different times You've tried maybe social media before and you can never just you can never have a video breakout You can never find something to go viral or maybe you had a video go viral But you don't know what to follow it up with and you just cannot figure out the formula the reason why I say today is the best time and all of all of like social media being even a thing it's the best time to grow now is because of this is there is so much data out there right now that you can already see what the algorithm is currently favoring before when i started the algorithm wasn't a massive thing yet if you had a lot of followers you would get a lot of views if you had a brand new account it would be very rarely a slow progress to get to a point where you're going to get views now that algorithms are so strong you can clearly see what the algorithm is showing favoritism to, and then you can reverse engineer whatever that content is for your own niche.
So we call it the Picasso method. It's copying without stealing. And when I go through this, I'm not telling you to copy people's content.
I want you to understand that. This is all about getting inspiration and basically learning what makes good content, good content. One of the analogies I use so that you can kind of visualize this is I used to love drawing.
But I was a terrible drawer. I used to love drawing Pokemon when I was younger, but I sucked at it. So what my dad did, my dad bought me this little tracer paper thing where you put tracer paper over like an LED light and you have a stencil and you outline on the tracer paper the stencil.
Over time, as I did this more and more, I naturally could freehand draw pretty freaking good. It's the same concept with this, is that I have a formula that I use here to find viral content in my niche. I use it as a stencil.
I put my own kind of personality and spin on top of it. And because the algorithm has already showed favoritism to the content that I'm using as a stencil, it's more likely to show favoritism to mine. So this is what we teach in Pathway, one of my favorite methods.
Now, this is only one small part of the puzzle to building a personal brand online. There's everything from monetizing to building a community, top of funnel, middle of funnel, bottom of funnel content. There's so many different layers, but this is the best thing that you can do now today to get started at least getting your foot in the door of social media.
because the first thing you need to do is learning how to make good content and learning how to get attention how to get views that's the first foundational component of growing a personal brand so i'm going to show you two things i'm going to show you one how you can do this manually yourself it's going to be a little bit more difficult and two my buddy built a software for me and the guys in pathway that we have built around this entire concept that makes it a lot more easier and i'll show you my screen exactly what i'm looking at first i'm going to show you guys how you can do this on your own without having to pay for anything basically so because algorithms are built to keep you on the platform that's what they are if you didn't know that algorithms are made to keep you on the platform whatever you're currently showing love to what you're liking engaging with the algorithm that the social media platform is going to show you more of it because it wants to keep you on the platform when you start looking at social media
less like a consumer like you are now and more like a business you can actually manipulate the algorithm to work for you the way that you do this is whatever if you even watch my other videos on this channel go and do so because you have to understand niches and content pillars and all that but whatever your niche is and whatever your content pillars are you can basically basically search up keywords and terms and phrases that relate to your niche your content pillars so let's say i'm a fitness coach right i'm gonna start looking up on reels and tick tock like fat loss recipe full day of eating chest workout whatever i'm gonna look up all these keywords and phrases honestly like 10 to 20 of them and I'm going to start liking sharing saving engaging with the content that I'm seeing from good content creators over time within the next 24 48 hours my algorithm will show less of cars and sports and the other shit that I used to look at and it's gonna start showing me more of that so that whenever I go on my phone instead of it being a doom scrolling time I'm using it as like a research period there's a lot more to it than just that but we built this platform and I'll show you exactly kind of how it works the way this works is
Kind of similar to what I was mentioning before, we first need to find model creators. If you guys don't know what a model creator is, it's basically somebody who either has a similar target audience as you. They could be somebody where you really like their style of content.
They could be in a similar niche as you. Whatever it might be, you're going to want to find a few of them. My personal thing that I teach in Pathway to tell people to do is you want to usually find maybe like...
three content creators for each content pillar that you have so let's say if you're a fitness coach right we'll say on that you want to find maybe somebody who does really good meal prep content a really good like high protein low calorie recipes maybe you want to find one who does really good training content showing workout tips maybe you want to find one who does really good talking head style content videos whatever it might be so you want to find two to three model creators that are basically in that area for each content pillar of whatever your niche is and what you're going to do is you're going to find them you're going to add them add url i already have a list of my my watch list of some of my model creators here and i'm going to show you how this works you're just going to copy and paste your instagram handle in here and it'll update and you can put them in your watch list now if you don't know how to find these model creators what i usually tell people in pathway to do is again just look up the keywords terms and phrases in your content pillars or in your niche and just start doom scrolling on those pieces of content click on their accounts look through the account ask yourself is this a good model creator that i could take inspiration from are they making good content consistently if it
is it can be a model creator there's no right or wrong answer with it but you want to find good ones sorry i had to make it lighter it's getting dark out here i'm on my honeymoon right now we're in northern italy and it's like sunset so anyways once you have your watch list set up you click on this videos tab here and now it's going to show a bunch of content and i'm going to explain it to you real quick i have my own content on here as well because i use a little trial reel hack also we'll leave that as a bonus tip at the end of the video okay how about that i'll tell you about that at the end of the video so let's go liam and william they're two really good content creators that i like to use for model creators so i'm just clicking on them now it looks like a lot here but i'm going to explain it really simply the top left you're going to see a score all this is it's giving you an outlier score so this video from liam performed 7 .4 times better than his average video very simple it's a top of funnel video if you want to watch it we can watch the video and see exactly the engagement on it what the video is and all that we can analyze the video which i'm going to have run now and it's going to then show us
the exact concept of the video, the idea. I already have some of them analyzed, so I'm going to go and show you one that's already done. William posted this video a while back, and it got 18 .7x of an outlier score, almost 3 million views.
So I already analyzed this one, and you'll see I actually posted a very similar video to this, and I'm explaining the process that you have to use so that you don't get in trouble by copying people's content. So all we're doing here is I analyze it. You can click on the video, view the analysis.
You can see exactly what the overall content idea was. basically there's something about this video there's some sort of framework within it that the algorithm really likes and that people really like that is hitting home with people that is making the video rip on the algorithm whether it be the idea the format of it the hook the aesthetic whatever might be one of the formats or all of them together are creating a perfect environment for a video to go viral so all this is doing we have an idea analysis hook analysis it's just giving you information as to what's making the good content good content this is super helpful for people who are new into social media because you have to become consciously aware to educate yourself as to what makes good content good content so reading through all of this the idea analysis the hook analysis visual hook text on screen hook verbal hook all this is just giving you input and information as to why the video probably went viral and we can also watch the video here i'm not going to watch the whole thing but basically what i did is i realized okay
okay, this was a outlier video from one of my model creators. I want to make something similar. Now, the thing that you do not want to do is you do not want to ever copy somebody's value word for word.
William in his video, destroying six of your biggest fears in the next 60 seconds. I did my own version, which I'll pop up on the screen here. That did really, really good.
And mine was, I think it was destroying six lies about what it means to be a real man in 60 seconds, something like that. Now you can see in this video, I copied the same exact aesthetic that he had. I used the countdown of the laptop.
I used the same. like color grade format. I use the simple text on screen pop -ups as him, but I changed the value completely.
So the way that I do this is we have this little studio in here. I'm not going to go too in deep with this because I don't want to bore you guys, but there is a lot that you can do with this. I could simply open up a new board, start with a blank canvas.
And what I could do here, I could click on resources and we're going to find the video from William right here. So we're going to add it to the board. We're going to feed it into this chat.
So let's say I am a Christian content creator and I want to use this as a concept for my next video and I need to come up with new ideas because you'd never want to take away the value of the video. You can't just rip this video off from William and copy his whole script. You never want to do that.
You can't do that. You can copy the aesthetic and the inputs. If it's a top funnel video, maybe you can copy the text on screen, change it up a little bit, whatever it might be.
You really want to try and make it your own. So let's say I'm not like a self -help lifestyle creator like William. Let's say I'm a...
christian creator who wants to make that i'm just going to say in the chat this is a video from one of my model creators that did very well i am a christian creator and need ideas to make a similar video but to my christian audience struggling with faith you want to try and give it as much details input as you can that's how you that's how you get the best answer whenever you're using ai we're gonna let it do its thing here we go Side note, I am NOT a fan of scripting content word -for -word I like giving ideas and subtitle concepts and then if I'm if if I'm a content creator should be authoritative enough and be educated enough to speak on what I am speaking on if my own my platform if I have to script every single thing and then I probably shouldn't be talking on that subject, but let's see what it spit out so we've got six things christians need to stop feeling guilty about six signs god hasn't abandoned you six truths for when god feels silent whatever it might be now the goal of this is just to start the ideation process i have coached over a thousand people inside a pathway and the most common denominator of the pain points that i see is that people struggle with ideation the process of coming up with content ideas this whole platform is to help you get better content ideas that already have hit before so what we're going to do is as the content creator i'm now going to look through these see which one best
on brand with me and i'm just going to have it expand upon it build upon it i can add this literally give me an entire shot list everything i can i can just literally have this this whole chat knows this video is viral and as i talk to it it will know exactly my niche my content pillars and build it around my content i'm going to use the same laptop countdown all of that and that's how i have now a viral video format going up on my page, whatever.
So I can spend an hour maybe or two hours on this platform and I can have all of my content ideas ready to go. So whenever I go to film the next day, I can just knock them all out, batch film all of them. And instead of them being shitty content ideas like most people do, just trying to, oh, I have to get my two videos up a day.
I'm just gonna film something real quick. You're doing it with more of a plan. You're executing better because you're basing your content ideas off of already winning formats.
Now, you don't wanna do this for every single piece of content because obviously as you mature, on social media, you want to get better at coming up with your own full ideas from scratch. But in the beginning, I think it is extremely important to use something just like this.
Now, that little side note that I was mentioning before is I use this for trial reels and it works extremely well for me. So the way that I do this is I put my own self as a model creator and I look at content that I posted maybe at least over two months ago and I will take the same piece of content and I will repost it as a trial reel.
So I use this just to keep me aware of what my viral content is. I can even go to my dashboard here and I can see any days that I had like a big peak on social media here. So July 30th, I had something do really, really good.
August 1st, I had something do really, really good. So this was a trial reel. So this video that I posted here, I already posted before and I saw that it went mega viral.
So I reposted the same exact video just as a trial reel and it went viral again. So this video got me. 6 .8 million views i believe the first one had a little bit over 10 or 12 million so combined we're closing in on 20 million views from just one simple top of funnel video so i also use this platform to show me what is working for me and i can build upon that so a lot of our students in pathway we teach them how important gathering data is and figuring out what your winners are so you can double down on them and get rid of your losers i have them put them their own platforms in this platform so that every single month when they audit their page they can clearly see what's doing good and what's not doing good because if you just...
if you don't keep track of your data you're not going to ever be able to get better more inputs create more outputs from those outputs you learn how to make better quality inputs which lead to better quality outputs and that's how you grow a page on social media now there's so much more i can talk about we'll keep posting more on this page but i'll leave it at that for this video this is just really covering ideation and how to start making better quality content that is made to get views if you guys enjoyed it uh like comment sub i'll leave a link down for spark if you guys want to go check it out for yourself and utilize it um and if you guys want to go check out joint pathway and get coached by me one -on -one we have a few more spots left we only take on we only take on 15 people a month right now so if you want to be one of those 15 uh you can book a call down below um it does cost money though i'm gonna keep it a buck i'm not gonna sell you on it it is a few thousand dollars it costs money we have a whole team including me so if we're gonna you know invest into you you have to invest in a bus i'm not gonna give a whole spiel on that but if you guys gonna go check it out anyways it'll be down below in the description but appreciate y 'all i am on my honeymoon when i'm back home i promise i'll be posting a lot more until next time peace out
The Hook

The bait, then the rug-pull.

Alex Eubank opens with the case that social media has never been easier to grow, because today's stronger algorithms expose exactly what's working before you post a single video. What follows is the system he teaches inside his coaching program for turning that visibility into a repeatable supply of content ideas.

Frameworks

Named ideas worth stealing.

01:34concept

The Picasso Method

  1. Find 2-3 model creators per content pillar whose audience or style matches yours
  2. Pull their outlier videos, posts that far outperform their own average
  3. Break each one down into idea, hook, format, and aesthetic
  4. Rebuild the concept with your own value and voice, never the script word-for-word

A reverse-engineering framework for content ideation: treat a proven video as a stencil, copying its structure and energy, not its words, the way tracing paper teaches freehand drawing over time.
