Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Building a profitable niche page from zero comes down to picking a proven market, bringing a genuinely personal angle into it, and posting broadly at first so the audience's own reaction tells you what to narrow in on.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You have zero audience and want a concrete, step-by-step plan for starting a content page in a crowded niche like finance.
  • You're willing to post twice a day for two weeks before expecting any traction or income.
  • You're comfortable picking one market (health, wealth, or relationships) and bringing your own life experience into it rather than copying a competitor outright.
SKIP IF…
  • You want a proven monetization number before you start. This documents day one of an unproven new page, not a finished case study.
  • You're looking for the platform's monetization mechanics (payout thresholds, eligibility rules). The focus here is content strategy, not program fine print.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

A creator who says a previous Facebook page earned over $52,000 in one month starts a brand-new page, Beyond the Bills, at zero followers to document the process in public. The core method is an eight-step framework: pick a niche inside health, wealth, or relationships, make sure it's something you're already passionate about, research existing pages in that space for structure and engagement, differentiate with your own life experience and a willingness to go on camera, then launch with a welcome message and one reel before posting twice a day for fourteen days. Posting broadly at first and narrowing in on whichever topics get the most engagement, helped along by Facebook's AI and ChatGPT for captions and bio copy, is how the niche gets refined after launch instead of before it.

Chapters

Where the time goes.

00:00 – 00:44

01 · The $52k case study setup

Opens by referencing a prior video in which a Facebook page earned over $52,000 in one month through Facebook's monetization program, then promises to document a brand-new page from zero in public.

00:44 – 01:32

02 · Reveal: Beyond the Bills

Unveils the new page's name and cover copy, "Life should leave room for more than bills," positioned around real conversations about rising costs, paychecks, housing, and everyday money.

01:32 – 02:02

03 · The eight-step framework, previewed

Pulls up a written checklist and frames the rest of the video around eight steps for taking any niche from zero to a monetized page.

02:02 – 02:59

04 · Step 1: pick a market that's already working

Names health, wealth, and relationships as the three markets people keep spending in regardless of the economy, and explains picking a niche inside one of them.

02:59 – 04:12

05 · Researching the niche inside Facebook itself

Demonstrates typing an interest straight into Facebook's search bar (pickleball, then finance) to surface existing pages and posts worth modeling for structure and engagement.

04:12 – 05:30

06 · Making a competitor's structure your own

Narrows toward a finance-adjacent niche focused on rising costs and income, and argues the goal is taking what's already working in a space and adding a personal spin, not copying it outright.

05:30 – 07:40

07 · Step 2: passion over shiny objects, learn-do-teach

Uses a baking-a-cake analogy to argue that personal nuance, not the copy-paste structure, is what separates one page from another, then warns that most people quit a new page within weeks and should instead pick something they're already passionate about and apply a learn-do-teach habit.

07:40 – 10:21

08 · Step 3: know your audience by testing broad

Explains that a brand-new page doesn't know its audience yet, so the job is posting a wide range of content first and watching which topics (in his case, hourly-pay complaints) actually get engagement before narrowing in, citing a Gary Vaynerchuk line: "you are the niche, you are the brand."

10:21 – 11:58

09 · Steps 4-5: differentiate, and check who's already winning

Covers finding your own differentiator (usually life experience) and checking whether other pages in the niche are already getting engagement, arguing that going on camera instead of posting text-only reels is the biggest differentiator available.

11:58 – 13:26

10 · Steps 6-7: the 14-day posting plan, and own your list

Lays out the concrete rollout: a welcome message and first reel through Facebook's Quick Start flow, then two posts a day for 14 days, warns that posting too often can get a new account flagged, and argues the platform itself isn't the business, your list and community are.

13:26 – 14:30

11 · Step 8 in practice: the first reel goes live

Shows the actual first post, a short recession-themed reel at zero followers, and explains using Facebook's built-in AI and ChatGPT to write the caption, intro, and about section.

14:30 – 15:57

12 · Day-one numbers and the ask

Reports the first reel's early stats, 187 views at zero followers, and closes by asking viewers to subscribe, tick the bell icon, and comment their own chosen niche to follow the series.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • Health, wealth, and relationships are the three markets people keep spending in no matter what the economy is doing, which is why they're the default places to look for a profitable niche.
  • Searching your own interests directly in Facebook's search bar surfaces the pages and posts already winning in that niche, before you post anything yourself.
  • Copying a competitor's structure only gets a new page so far. The personal nuance layered on top is what actually separates one page from another.
  • Most people quit a new content page within a couple of weeks and jump to the next tactic, so picking something you're already passionate about is what survives that drop-off period.
  • Documenting what you learn and do, instead of waiting to become an expert first, is what builds perceived authority fastest.
  • A brand-new page doesn't know its audience yet, so the first job is posting broadly and watching which specific topics actually get engagement, then narrowing in on those.
  • Posting too aggressively in the first days of a new account, more than two or three times a day, can get it flagged as spam by the platform's own systems.
  • A social media account is not a business. The email list and community built around it is the actual asset, because the platform itself can take the account away at any time.
  • Being willing to appear on camera instead of posting text-only content is one concrete way a new page can differentiate itself from competitors in the same niche.
  • A single reel posted at zero followers can still pull meaningful early views (187 in this case) within hours, which becomes the first data point for whether a topic resonates.
Takeaway

Eight repeatable steps for turning a brand-new page into an audience

WHAT TO LEARN

Picking a proven market, adding a genuinely personal angle, and posting broadly before narrowing in on whatever the audience actually responds to matters more than any single platform trick.

01The $52k case study setup
  • A prior result (one page reportedly earning over $52,000 in a month) is the stated reason for picking this specific framework to repeat, not a guarantee the new page will match it.
02Reveal: Beyond the Bills
  • Starting completely public, including the page's real name and zero-follower state, turns the launch itself into content rather than something to hide until it works.
03The eight-step framework, previewed
  • The whole video is structured around a written eight-step checklist, making the process something a reader can follow along with step by step rather than infer from a narrative.
04Step 1: pick a market that's already working
  • Health, wealth, and relationships are the three markets singled out as recession-resistant, because people keep spending in them regardless of the economy.
05Researching the niche inside Facebook itself
  • Searching your own interests directly in a platform's search bar is treated as free market research: it surfaces who's already winning in that space before you post anything.
06Making a competitor's structure your own
  • Studying a competing page's structure is useful, but the stated difference-maker is the personal nuance layered on top, not the structure itself.
07Step 2: passion over shiny objects, learn-do-teach
  • Passion is framed as a retention mechanism, not just motivation: most people are expected to quit a new page within a couple of weeks, so picking something you'd do without pay is what survives that window.
  • The learn-do-teach habit (learn something, go do it, then teach the result) is offered as a way to build authority without first becoming a recognized expert.
08Step 3: know your audience by testing broad
  • A brand-new page is treated as not knowing its audience yet, so the plan is to post broadly, watch which specific topics get the most engagement, then narrow in on those.
09Steps 4-5: differentiate, and check who's already winning
  • Your own life experience is positioned as the main lever for differentiation, alongside being willing to appear on camera instead of posting text-only content.
10Steps 6-7: the 14-day posting plan, and own your list
  • The rollout plan is concrete: a welcome message and one reel via the platform's onboarding flow, then two posts a day for 14 days, with a warning that posting too often early can get a new account flagged as spam.
  • The platform itself is explicitly framed as not the business. The audience, email list, and community it builds are the actual asset, because the account can be taken away or demonetized at any time.
11Step 8 in practice: the first reel goes live
  • The first actual post is a short, specific, opinion-prompting question (a recession take) rather than a generic introduction, and is produced with help from the platform's own AI tools plus ChatGPT.
12Day-one numbers and the ask
  • The first reel's early view count (187 views at zero followers) is used as the first real data point for whether this specific topic and format are resonating.

metaphor
So I recently created a video that got over 150 ,000 views that talked about how a Facebook page made well over $47 ,000 in a month. It actually made over $52 ,000 in one single month from the Facebook monetization program. We're not even talking about what it made on the back end.
And a lot of you guys said, I want you to create a case study series where I show everybody how to bring a brand new Facebook page from zero to it getting followers to it getting monetized and to it making money ultimately and you're finally getting exactly what you asked for. So today we're going to show you the brand new Facebook page that I created.
It has zero followers. I just made my first two posts on it today.
I'm going to be breaking down exactly how you can start modeling what I'm doing and duplicate my success in your own niche and in your own industry. So let me go ahead and show you the actual page. This is what it's called.
Drum roll, please. Beyond the Bills. And it is about real conversations about rising costs, paychecks, housing.
and making everyday money go further. So you might say it's in the finance niche. Well, it is.
I'm adding my own spin and my own personality and life experiences to it. So I'm going to break down step by step exactly how I chose this niche. the type of content I'm going to be posting and really everything in between when you decide to actually start your own Facebook page and overall start your own brand because that's really what this is.
Facebook is just a distribution platform to the ultimate goal of making money and actually selling stuff. So let's go ahead and break this down in eight steps. So the first thing that you want to do is you want to go into a market that's already getting results, whether that's The health, wealth or relationships markets, regardless of what the economy is doing, people are still spending money in these three markets.
So you typically want to pick a niche within one of these markets. So when it comes to wealth, we're helping people manage rising costs, manage money and overall actually help them make more money as well, because I come from an affiliate marketing background, a digital marketing background. So not only.
Am I going to be teaching people how to better their finances, but also and manage money, but how to improve their income and increase their income? Now, I'm not a financial advisor. I'm not qualified to be one, but I can talk about what I've experienced and what I've done without actually giving financial advice.
So what I would recommend that you do is, number one, go to Facebook. Go to Facebook right now at the very top. Just type in any industry that you could potentially.
be interested in or that you're already passionate about, something that you do in everyday life right now, day by day, week by week, really without thinking about it. So for me, it is making money online, shooting content. It is managing my own finances.
It's golfing. It's playing pickleball. It's working out.
Those are a few things that I could type into Facebook. right here. So we'll just type in, for example, pickleball.
OK, and we're going to select enter right here. And you're going to see a ton of different groups, different pages, and you're going to see specific people that are interested or actually have pickleball pages. So you can see Tanner Pickleball right here.
And you can use these different pages as inspiration for you to sort of model off of. Okay, that's going to be key here. Like how can you take what's working?
What's gone viral for them and really make it your own and derive different content ideas from these specific pages. We have this one right here. You've got another one right here.
Here's a great structure that we can model of an image. You can see this got 1 .5 thousand likes 36 comments. 296 shares.
Here's another one right here. Here's another one right here. So on and so forth.
You get the idea. We can also just type in finance, which is kind of like the niche that I'm going into or a spinoff of it because we will not just be talking about housing costs, budgeting. What else is there?
Gas prices, whether $30 an hour or $40 an hour is actually reasonable in this economy. If we're actually in a recession. Not only are we going to talk about those topics, but we're also going to show people how to increase their income with things like affiliate marketing, digital marketing, becoming a content creator, etc., which can completely separate myself from everybody else because I have life experience around that.
So how can you take what's working, make it yours, put a spin on it, and your own unique personality? And you're going to see the nuances of this as we go through this journey together, because really it is the nuances. I'm going to tell you, it's the nuances that are going to make the big difference here.
It's watching what I'm doing every single day to build up my Facebook page, to build up my brand from scratch, because I'm starting from zero over the last 12 years. I've been in the make money online, digital marketing, affiliate marketing niche. And we're literally kind of starting from scratch.
Yeah, there might be some people that know me out there, but most people are going to have no idea who I am whatsoever. So we're starting from square one. But I'm telling you, it's not the copy and paste stuff that's going to make money as we move along here.
It's the nuances of what I do. So here's a great example. You could have the ingredients to bake a cake and it could tell you exactly how much.
flour to add, how much sugar to add and everything in between. But it's going to be up to you to maybe add a little bit more of one ingredient than another. Or maybe you're going to add a little bit of extra.
Maybe you throw some strawberries in there, right? That's going to be the difference maker of what separates your cake, metaphorically speaking, versus somebody else's cake. And that's what we're going to be doing with our content.
here. So let's go and jump back here and let's jump really quickly to here. So you want to make sure number two, you go into something that you're interested in or you're passionate because most people, what they're going to do is watch a video like this.
They're going to quit after two weeks and they're going to go try something else. Drop shipping, affiliate marketing, selling digital products with AI, posting in forums, trying to use AI to create agents to sell to small. businesses, they're going to try a bunch of different things and they're going to realize the same thing.
It's the nuance. It's sticking to something that you can become passionate about or that you're already passionate about. And you don't have to be an expert.
You just have to simply document your journey. Document what you're learning. And by doing that, you'll start to become an expert and you'll instantly position yourself as an expert.
If you could just implement what I like to call the learn, do, teach method. Write it down. Learn, do, teach.
Learn something. Go out there and do it. Implement.
By that, you'll get results. And then you teach other people the results that you're getting. You can do that in any niche, any industry that you go into, and you won't have imposter syndrome.
maybe for a certain amount of time, but he'll eventually get over it. Just ignore it and keep moving forward. So that moves us on to our third point, know your audience.
And really just to jump back quickly to the second point, if you are really interested in something, you're going to do it for free more often than not. You're going to do it for five, six months, a year without expecting payment in return. And if you're somebody that's willing to do that, the money will just automatically.
come to you. People that are trying to make money and are just doing things for the money are the people that end up broke, end up going in the YouTube comments and complaining and being entitled and then they just move on to the next YouTube channel about making money online and blame some other person on their strategies and their business model.
And that's just what entitled people do that stay broke, that jump around and have constant shiny object syndrome. So don't be that person. Stick to one thing long term, become passionate about it and talk about it every single day and be consistent.
So three is know your audience. Now there's nuance to this because when you first get started, you might not know really much about your audience. You're going to go out there.
You're going to test a lot of different posts, a lot of different style of content, and you're not going to know what sticks. But once something starts sticking, then you want to hone in on that specific audience. So when I was posting on my Facebook profile over the course of the last few months, I've noticed the posts that were getting the most engagement were around hourly pay and people complaining about that $38, $40, $30 an hour isn't enough in this economy.
So we want to talk about. those topics even more. So we want to figure out how can we talk about hourly pay in multiple different ways and whether $38 an hour is actually good in this economy or not.
How many different ways can I talk about that topic? So we want to really drill into that specific audience and get to know them more. What types of people are these types of people that are actually engaging and commenting on those types of posts and get to know that audience more and what other types of content would they be interested in.
So that would be a great example. And I saw Gary Vee video today that talked about this as well. He says, you are the niche.
You are the brand. Talk about everything that you're interested in. And once one topic resonates, then hone in on that topic.
So that leads us to four. Start thinking about how you are going to be different. Okay, I alluded to this.
What makes you different? And oftentimes, you don't have to think too much about this. It's your life experiences.
What experience do you have around the topic, around the niche, around the industry? And oftentimes, you're going to find what differentiates you just by simply taking action and taking a lot of action. Might take you 20 posts or 30 posts to start to figure that out.
But the goal here is to get a bunch of data. And then once you have that data, you can begin to start to tweak your messaging and the style of marketing that you do. So five, are there already profiles getting engagement within your industry?
We showed you that. Pickleball was an example. Finance was another example we started to kind of dive into.
You could see there's all these other pages about finance. You can see this one right here. And I could already tell you that one of the ways that I can stand out.
is I'm not afraid to actually put myself on camera. A lot of these people just do these on -screen text reels, which they do get engagement. Obviously, they work like crazy.
But if you want to create raving fans, start to put yourself out there more. Don't just create text posts and image posts, but also create reels showing your face. That's going to be the biggest difference.
Good financial sense does that. the profile that I showcased to you that made over $52 ,000 last month. And I've done that for the last 12 years.
And that's why I've been job free for the last 12 years and just crushed every industry and niche that I go into. So, but again, I'm trying to speak to you from a point of somebody that's just starting out that's brand new as well. So you got Rob Everyday Finance right here.
And we're going to be looking at all these profiles too to model off of for ideas to get the creative juices flowing each and every single day. For the first, 14 days.
Okay, we're going to be posting two times per day to warm up our account. Maybe we don't want to be posting 5, 10, 15 times per day. That can get you flagged.
You could get accused of spamming. It could flip the Facebook algorithm bots that will flag your account. It's happened to me before.
It actually just happened to me today, which actually inspired me to do this because content that I uploaded. months and even a year ago started getting flagged, if you can believe that, because the way that Facebook, you know, runs their business changes and no social media platform is a business. Your business is the following that you generate, the emails that you get and the community that you build that follows you.
everywhere, which we'll talk about at another time. But realize that social media is not your business. These platforms shouldn't be the only way that you make money.
You need to have a list. So we're going to be posting two times per day. I started with a welcome message in one reel.
When you first set up your brand new profile, there's going to be a quick start setup that Facebook gives you. And it tells you create a welcome message, create your first reel, which is exactly what I did. I'll show you that in just a second.
And then. Step number eight, like I explained to you previously, we're going to start broad. We're going to post a lot of different types of content when it comes to finance, housing, money, gas prices, all kinds of stuff, managing money, interest rates, and we're going to find out what really sticks.
And then we're going to start to narrow our messaging. Okay, so we're going to start broad and then hone in on what's getting the most engagement. And here's a few examples.
right here. Okay, so that is the game plan. If we go over to our profile, we'll just go home and we'll go to my profile right here.
You can see this was uploaded about an hour ago already has two likes and this is my reel and it's 21 seconds long. My goal with my reels in the beginning of this profile is I want to post really short form eight second to like 20 second reels. where I'm asking like a thought provoking question or I'm evoking some type of engagement.
So this one essentially just asks, do you think the United States is in a recession? And then Facebook's AI app actually helped me create this caption right here. And then I use ChatGPT to create this introduction right here.
And I also use ChatGPT to create my about section right here. In other words, my description of my profile and also my banner right here, my cover art. That's pretty much it.
So this is day one. I've made it my first two posts. You could see that I've got zero followers and zero following and we've...
got if we click on insights right here to my first real we've already got 187 views which is really really cool so we're going to watch this compound over time this is going to be really really exciting if you want to follow along just go ahead subscribe to the channel tick the bell icon that's literally it for today and if you tick that bell icon you'll be notified of every video of this case study series that I upload when I upload it so don't just click the subscribe button, but tick the bell icon.
And I can't wait to see in the next video. If there's anything that you want me to cover throughout this process, let me know in the comments and let me know what niche are you going to go into. Pick that niche in that industry right now.
Let me know what it is below and let's continue this journey together. And maybe I'll start like a group or a discord. I don't know.
Let me know what you think about that. All right. We'll see you tomorrow in the next one.
The Hook

The bait, then the rug-pull.

A creator points to a different Facebook page he says made over $52,000 in a single month, then uses that number to kick off a transparent, zero-follower case study for a brand-new page he's building with the same process.
