The creator frames this parallel, ambient, browser-using agent behavior as closer to a general-purpose operating system than a chatbot, and explicitly uses the word AGI to describe it.
Design-system fidelity, not raw creativity, decided the carousel round: Claude reused the creator's existing visual system while Astra invented its own look from a blank page and still scored higher.
A written PRD alongside the prompt was enough for both tools to generate a playable multiplayer game in one shot, character select screen and shareable room code included.

Head-to-head build challenges are a decent proxy for AI coding tool quality, but the biggest capability gap showed up after the builds stopped, in whether the tool could run unattended work in parallel.
02Challenge 1: the LinkedIn carousel
When you hand an AI coding agent your existing design system, it will default to reusing it rather than inventing something new, which can look safe but also less exciting.
A tool building completely from scratch with no design reference still beat one working from a supplied design system in this test.
A named, reusable design system is worth building before you lean on AI for creative assets: it's what kept one tool's output visually consistent slide to slide.
03Challenge 2: the 3D landing page
Given the exact same reference design and one detailed prompt, a coding agent can produce a working 3D page with a functioning dashboard mockup and testimonials on the first attempt.
The tool that won the most demos overall still lost this specific round to the other tool, a reminder that 'better' is task-dependent, not a single ranking.
04Challenge 3: the Flash Kart game
A one-page prompt plus a short PRD was enough for two different AI tools to independently one-shot a playable multiplayer game with a shareable room code.
First-shot AI game builds can ship with real gameplay bugs, like broken steering physics or a soundtrack that has to be muted, even when the core loop works.
Visual polish, more than functional completeness, was the deciding factor between two otherwise-comparable one-shot game builds.
05The real unlock: Astra's parallel agent threads
The single most impressive capability shown wasn't a build at all: a voice interface kicked off three separate background research and content tasks in parallel from one spoken request.
In one session, an agent pulled a linked video, wrote a repurposed article from it, generated a matching cover image, mined comments for ranked content ideas, and researched growth strategy, without the operator switching tools or typing.
Parallel, ambient agent execution, where a tool keeps working on multiple unrelated jobs while you do something else, is a materially different capability than a single good chat response.

My friends ChatGPT finally released an AI model that turns you into Iron Man.
Wake up, Daddy Shum. I'm literally not kidding when I say that GPT -6 Astra feels like you have Jarvis in your pocket. And I know there's a bunch of hype out there.
So today I'm going to build three serious projects starting from easy all the way to extra difficult. And because I want you to see how big of a leap this is, I'll also be comparing it to the next best model, Fable 5 .1, so you can see the difference. Let's go.
Okay, so about 48 hours ago, the announcement came out that... ChatGPT was releasing Model 6, which is basically called Astra. The internet completely exploded and people started taking to Twitter showing examples of things they had actually built.
And at first I thought it was just the usual overhype of AI models coming out recently. But over the past 48 hours, I've been using it for tasks inside of my business. And today I'm going to be using three actual very useful examples that you can use today to build, launch, and monetize your business.
And so for the first challenge I have, I'm going to be giving both ChatGPT and Claude access to my last posted video about the announcement and have it create a post for LinkedIn with the creative included. Okay, so I'm inside of Claude right here, I'm going to go ahead and turn this on to fable 5 .1.
And then I'm going to be telling it. Hey, Claude, could you please create a high performing LinkedIn carousel and post based on my latest youtube video i'm going to go ahead and upload that and feed it that boom and we're going to see how far i can go with this and these instructions as well now we're going to switch over to codecs and i'm going to be actually doing the exact same thing inside with astra i'm inside chat gpt now and i put astra on high and now i'm going to give it this prompt Hey, what's up ChatGPT?
Could you please use this YouTube video right here to be able to create a high -performing LinkedIn post and a carousel that goes with it? I would like for you to make it perform well. And then I'm gonna drop the actual link.
Let's go ahead and kick that off. now i'm going to show you the results of this in just a little moment but after towards the end of this video i'm actually going to be showing you a really cool feature and now i just saw that both have finished this first task let's see what they actually created boom one shot carousel so this one is from claude now one thing i notice here that probably will affect the results for this first test is that it already has access to my design system for we are no code so this one has actually used this design system and for this first slide it looks really nice i'm not really a big fan of this then they demoed a tax form because the video really is impressed with this new model so it's saying it's kind of like degrading it here however it does bring up a good amount of context second slide is a little simple and then everyone okay this is pretty cool except i would love for it to have shown some kind of visuals or have some more beauty to it
Here were some of the use cases that I showcased but again a little bit boring in terms of like the visual design Now I'm gonna just this last one is good except I wish it had like rounded edges. But again It has a design system. It's tried to stick to that.
I think it did a good job in grabbing the actual Captions and transforming that into carousel Now, heads up for this one, ChatGPT has no context on my design system, so it will probably look a little bit different than this one. But let's see if we can judge how well or not it's done with this assignment.

Very cool. Okay, look at that. It's created, again, it's using the designs that it actually created.
It's structured in a really nice way, creating with AI. Demos go well beyond text. 3D scenes, playable games, website designs, presentations.
I love that. Reasoning meets execution. Again, it's stuck to the same design system for the actual elements it's designed in each one of these.
Using the same color palette, which is kind of cool. It makes me feel like yeah if I feed it mine It's gonna it's gonna perform very well, obviously Cool okay Yeah, this looks nice it's definitely a step above and I would say this one gets an eight the other one gets like a seven So we're only slightly ahead right now with Astra now for this next challenge.
I'm gonna be stepping it up one notch We're gonna actually try to build out a 3d website one page basically to promote my school community. We're gonna see how well it does.
I'm gonna create a simple prompt to begin with, and then we're going to feed it to AI and see how it does with a 3D website. Okay, so I thought I'd spice it up a bit here and give it a design system that I find really nice to actually create this one -page website with. I'm gonna ask it to make it 3D, but to follow this design system.

So as you can see, it really is like an operating system like Jarvis that you can basically just be talking to and have it spin up all these different things. You can also put follow -up tasks on each one of those tasks. And generally this just feels like general intelligence, right?
Which is AGI. And I think this is going to be the next version of what we see in AI models in general. So here now we have some amazing examples.
