Big Idea
The argument in one line.
A low-ticket call funnel works by starting with the backend high-ticket offer and reverse-engineering a cheap front-end product that speed-runs the buyer to the exact point where they need it, using price, ad messaging, and email/webinar follow-up to convert cold traffic into booked calls.
Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
You sell a high-ticket coaching, consulting, or done-for-you service and want a cheaper, colder way to fill your calendar than pure high-ticket ad spend.
You already run or are building a front-end offer under $30 and want a concrete structure for bumps, pricing, and the path into a sales call.
You want a checklist for email and Zoom follow-up sequences that turn low-ticket buyers into booked calls.
SKIP IF…
You don't have or want a high-ticket backend offer — this entire structure exists to feed one.
You're looking for ad creative or targeting tactics; this is about offer and funnel structure, not media buying mechanics.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
The video argues that a low-ticket call funnel should be designed backward from the high-ticket offer: figure out what buyers are really paying for on the backend, then build a $17-$27 front-end product that speed-runs them to the exact point of failure where they need it. The structure is deliberately simple: one sales page, two or three order bumps priced to hit a $50+ AOV, then straight to a call-booking page, no upsell pages. Ads use direct, price-transparent messaging instead of curiosity hooks, and post-purchase conversion runs through an AARC-framed call pitch (affirm, agitate, reveal, close), a welcome/webinar/broadcast email system, a weekly Zoom fast-track call, and same-day outbound texts and calls to every buyer. The close is to validate the front-end at 10-15 buyers a day before touching backend conversion, then scale spend only once 1-3% of buyers close on the high-ticket offer within 30 days.

01:02 – 03:55
02 · Commandment 1: Build back-to-front
Start from the backend offer. Three diagnostic questions to find what customers are really paying you to think for them, then design a front-end that speed-runs buyers to their natural point of failure.
03:55 – 06:34
03 · Commandment 2: Choose the right front-end format
Five front-end formats — tools/templates, evergreen challenge, one-hour fast-start masterclass, paid case study, low-ticket done-for-you — matched to market awareness level. Evergreen challenge is the default pick.
06:34 – 09:20
04 · Commandment 3: Price and structure the front-end
Front-end price band ($17-$27), no upsell pages, order bumps instead — bump pricing tiers, the four bump rules, and the $50+ AOV / 40% take-rate goals.
09:20 – 09:37
05 · Commandment 4: Build a three-step funnel
Locks the funnel to sales page → order bumps → book-a-call, no more, no less; references his own free course on the structure.
09:37 – 10:30
06 · Commandment 5: Frame the call upsell with AARC
The Affirm-Agitate-Reveal-Close framework for pitching the booked call after purchase.
10:30 – 11:08
07 · Commandment 6: Launch ads with direct messaging
Ads should state price and discounts directly rather than hiding them behind curiosity hooks; diagnosing high-CTR/low-opt-in as a messaging mismatch problem.
11:08 – 12:10
08 · Commandment 7: Build an email ascension system
Three parallel sequences: 7-day welcome/onboarding, ongoing weekly webinar promotion, and broadcast/nurture with case studies and objection handling.
12:10 – 12:43
09 · Commandment 8: Host a weekly fast-track Zoom call
30-minute call structure that converts ~50% of attendees: intro, engagement, onboarding, 12-minute training, CTA, live Q&A.
12:43 – 14:10
10 · Commandment 9: Deploy outbound setters and membership CTAs
Call/text every buyer within 20 minutes to a few hours as customer service, not sales; embed VSL links inside every membership video module.
14:10 – 14:57
11 · Commandment 10: Validate, optimize, then scale
Three-phase discipline: validate front-end at 10-15 buyers/day, optimize backend to a 1-3% high-ticket close rate within 30 days, only then scale ad spend.
14:57 – 15:06

Atomic Insights
Lines worth screenshotting.
Design the front-end offer backward from the backend: figure out what customers are actually paying you to think for them before building anything on the front.
A natural 'point of failure' exists in every DIY offer where the buyer gets stuck; the front-end product should speed-run people to exactly that point.
The evergreen challenge format (a fixed-day milestone, not a full outcome) is the single best-performing front-end format because it gives buyers a clear win without solving the whole problem for them.
Front-end price should sit at $17-$27; below that removes the buyer's sense of intent, above it slows impulse conversion.
The recommended structure caps at three steps: sales page, order bumps, book-a-call page — no upsell pages until the base funnel is proven.
Order bumps should speed up results, not replace the front-end offer, and should target a 40% take rate and $50+ average order value.
Ad messaging should state the price and any discount directly; curiosity-based ads that hide the price produce high click-through but low conversion because buyers bounce once they see a paywall.
The AARC framework (Affirm, Agitate, Reveal, Close) is used to pitch the call inside the post-purchase upsell: affirm the purchase, agitate the execution gap, reveal the high-ticket solution, close with a clear call-to-book CTA.
A three-sequence email system runs in parallel: a 7-day welcome/onboarding sequence, an ongoing weekly webinar promotion, and a broadcast sequence mixing case studies and objection handling.
A weekly 30-minute Zoom fast-track call converts roughly 50% of attendees into booked calls, following a fixed structure: intro, engagement, product onboarding, a 12-minute training, a CTA to book, then live Q&A.
Buyers should be called or texted within 20 minutes to a few hours of purchase, framed as customer service onboarding rather than a sales pitch.
Scaling order is fixed: validate the front-end (10-15 buyers/day) before touching backend conversion, hit a 1-3% high-ticket close rate within a 30-day window before scaling ad spend.
Takeaway
Design the cheap offer to point straight at the expensive one
WHAT TO LEARN
A low-ticket product only works as a funnel when it's built backward from the high-ticket offer it's meant to sell, with everything downstream, pricing, ads, email, and follow-up, engineered to book a call rather than to maximize the front-end sale itself.
Start any low-ticket funnel by identifying the real backend offer first, then reverse-engineer a cheap product that gets buyers to the exact point where they need that backend help.
Match your front-end packaging to your market's awareness level; a milestone-based format (like a fixed-length challenge) converts better than one that claims to deliver the full outcome, because it leaves an obvious next step.
Keep the funnel to three steps, sales page, order bumps, book-a-call, before adding any upsell pages; prove the simple version converts first.
Price a front-end offer in the $17-$27 range and use order bumps (not upsells) to lift average order value, aiming for a 40% bump take rate.
Write ads and sales pages that state the price and any discount directly; hiding the price behind a curiosity hook creates clicks that bounce the moment they see a cost.
Use a fixed four-step script (affirm, agitate, reveal, close) to pitch a high-ticket call immediately after a low-ticket purchase, rather than improvising the ask.
Run three parallel email tracks after purchase: a short welcome sequence, a recurring webinar promotion, and an ongoing broadcast sequence for people who haven't booked yet.
Contact every buyer personally within a few hours of purchase, framed as onboarding rather than sales, since warm follow-up converts far better than automation alone.
Validate a funnel's front-end volume before ever touching backend conversion optimization, and don't scale ad spend until a fixed percentage of buyers are closing on the high-ticket offer within a defined window.
Glossary
Terms worth knowing.
Low-ticket call funnel
A funnel that sells a cheap front-end product (typically $17-$27) whose real purpose is to book the buyer onto a sales call for a much more expensive backend offer.
Order bump
A small add-on checkbox offered at checkout, priced separately from the main front-end product, meant to raise average order value without adding a second sales page.
AARC framework
A four-step pitch structure used after a purchase to sell a call: Affirm the purchase, Agitate the execution gap, Reveal the high-ticket solution, Close with a clear call-to-action.
Point of failure
The moment in a do-it-yourself process where a buyer gets stuck and needs outside help; the front-end offer is designed to get buyers to exactly this point.
Evergreen challenge
A front-end offer format structured as a fixed multi-day program (e.g. a 7-day or 14-day challenge) that delivers one clear milestone rather than a full outcome.
Fast-track call
A recurring live Zoom call used to warm up front-end buyers and convert a large share of attendees into booked sales calls.

story
If you're looking to get high ticket clients practically for free with a funnel where you spend $1 in ads and get $1 back the same day, you need to pay attention to this video because we're going to get very tactical, and I'm gonna walk you through the 10 commandments of a winning low ticket call funnel. Now, I did a free course on how to build a call funnel on my channel, which I'll link below or pop up on the screen for you to check out.
I wanna go deeper into the laws and rules that we follow to build million dollar low ticket call funnels in almost every single niche imaginable. Now if you don't know who I am, my name is Joshua Gavin. I own lowticketoffers.com as well as ascensionofficer.com.
I've personally helped architect over 800 plus offers in almost every single market out there. You name it, I've done it. And I've pretty much become known as the consultant for info operators.
So if you name operator or guru and their operator, chances are they've come to you for consulting to help them launch a cold friendly offer using a low ticket call funnel. So what I'm gonna share with you here today has been tested and used for not just one year, not just two years, but over five years of low ticket offer experience.
So everything is proven, and it's a law that we live by for each and every single one of my deals. So let's jump into the doc and go through it now. This is the 10 commandments below to get call funnel.
By the way, if you want this entire document, just go ahead, take a screenshot of this video, tag me on x at Josh Gavin or Josh d Gavin. You can find me there, and just take a screenshot of this video. I'll send it over to you there.
But let's get into this. We're gonna break down every single commandment. So commandment number one is thou shalt build back to front starting with the back end offer.
Now before you touch anything, you need to answer these three questions in order. Number one, where do you find yourself constantly thinking for your customers? The reason why is we need to figure out what are they truly paying for on the back end.
What is the true offer they're paying for on the back end? You know, most times, we sell something on the front end that gives away the meat and potatoes of why someone would convert on the back end. Or you're too scared to sell something on the front end thinking that's what they're buying on the back end when in reality they're not paying for that.
That's just an additional thing you could give away on the front. So, essentially, we need to think back to front. So how I figure this out is where do I find myself constantly thinking for my customers?
The second thing we need to do is we need to ask ourselves, what would my customers need to have ready before they reach a point where they need me to think for them? You guys gotta realize, like, with your done with you and done for you coaching offers, people aren't paying for just coaching or calls or those types of things.
They're paying for you to think for them. It's a done for you offer even if you're thinking for them. If it's not truly done for you, like, you're not doing something, they want you to think for them.
So if you're like, okay. Maybe you're an ecomm biz op offer. You know, they don't wanna have to think for themselves on how to come up with ads or formats or strategies.
They want you to just think for them on how to do that. So maybe that's what they want on the back end. Maybe if you're a fitness health offer, they don't want to, you know, have to think for themselves on what to eat and the accountability and things like that.
So that's what they'd want on the back end. So that way we know, alright. Let's keep that on the back end, but let's give them something on the front end that gets them to that point.
And that brings us to our last one, which is can I speed run them to a point where they need my back end offer? So we honestly call this a point of failure. Right?
There's a natural point of failure with any do it yourself offer or course where if someone's doing it themselves, they'll reach a point where it can't go any further, where they need help, or they can spend your suffering trying to do it themselves. This is called a natural point of failure. We need to identify the natural point of failure and then give them whatever we need to on the front end product to get to that point so that they're ready for our back end offer.
And so that is how we figure out, hey. What is we sell in the back that people actually want, and then let's work back to front. So that is the first commandment.
Now the second commandment is thou shalt choose the right front end offer format for thy markets. There are five winning formats. Alright?
You need to choose the format for your offer depending on the awareness level. What I mean by format is just how it's packaged. So there's tools and templates.
There's evergreen challenges. There's a one hour fast start. There's a paid case study, and then there's a load to get done for you offer.
Alright? Now if I had to die on the hill of just picking one, if I had to say this is the only load to offer format I'm going to stick with, then the one I'm going to pick is the evergreen challenge.
The reason why is it works well for any market, really good for the funeral market. There's a clear outcome, right, of, like, what's gonna happen at the end of that timeline, at the end of the days, and it's just one clear milestone that doesn't take out the back end. If you were to do, like, a course or something like that, then you're selling the full outcome.
Like, let's say it's start an agency or it's, you know, lose 40 pounds or the whole thing, and you're saying that this front end offer will get them the full picture, the full outcome instead of just a milestone. What's gonna happen is they're gonna come to your sales call, and they're gonna be like, bro, I'm just gonna use front end offer for now.
Versus the milestone offer, it's very clear that, hey. This $17 product gets you to this milestone. We didn't say it's gonna get you the full way.
It's just gonna get you this milestone. It makes them happy. They're happy for that milestone.
It's a milestone they want, but if they wanna go further, I don't wanna get further past that, then they're gonna have to join and work with us one on one, right, in a high ticket coaching. So that is the best ones, my favorite one right here. Now the other one is tools and templates.
This is best for b to b or saturated markets with solution aware audiences. Say if you're working with our coaches or b to b, they don't necessarily want another course. They want tactics, tools, and templates they can plug in right away.
If you're an agency, this would be for you. These crush for agency owners. The next one is a one hour fast start master class.
This is best for teaching a new model or methodology. So we did this for agency behind the scenes for Jeff Miller. This is an offer we did that crushed a couple 100,000 recurring revenue in the back end.
We did that for him, which is a Google Doc and a master class. We did this also for IT and accounting. Can go check out that offer as well too.
These are all one hour fast start master class. It's usually just one hour video with a Google Doc like this. I can literally make this one hour fast, sorry, if I did it for an hour, and we would just sell that.
So that one works super well. Again, it's really good if you're teaching a new model or methodology, so zero to one. Now the next thing is a paid case study.
Now this works good for any market, especially when you wanna make claims or not really make claims. FTC, I promise. Don't come.
But, no, if you wanna, like, talk about numbers, obviously, you can't imply if they're gonna get it. Instead of going out there and being like, here's how you're gonna do it, you can just like, see how I did it. Not that you're gonna get this, but just see how I did it.
And so someone who really go to paid case studies is Frank Kern. If you ever followed Frank Kern, a bunch of you young broccoli head info operators from which I am a broccoli end marketer, so I can say that. A lot of you guys probably only know Frank Kern from those the OG days because you're new to the game, but look him up.
He would sell case studies. He'd do something well once, and he'd sell a course teaching how to do that thing even though if you just did it there once and it ripped. People love case studies.
So if you can sell a case study in your market, definitely do it. It's a great one. And the next one is a low ticket done for you.
This is best for b to b or search providers. It's the last one I'd recommend. It's hard to pull off and hard to convert on cold traffic.
I did one for myself here. Even on cold traffic, convert at 1%. It made more sense to sell something else.
So it's definitely not my favorite one to go with, but it's definitely a good one if you can pull it off. So, if you wanna default to one, I would pick the evergreen challenge.
Now channel number three is dollar shelf price and structure thy front end for maximum liquidation. Now front end offer suites offer pricing is around 17 to $27. My prediction is in a few years, we're gonna have to go down the price barrel and get impulse buys out, like, $1 to $4 and increase intent on the back end.
But for now, 17 to $20 is the sweet spot. I wouldn't go past it, and I wouldn't go under it. Now for a load ticket call funnel like I've talked about in my other videos, we just do a front end offer, which is a sales page, order form, write to book a call after that.
That's it. We don't do an upsell, which would be another page where you do a one click upsell, but we do order bumps, which are those little check boxes when you go on to the next step. And so, like, if you were to go here, clientsforfree.com, you go to one of these offers.
Right? This is the sales page. This is the front end offer.
We go to step number two. Here, there's order bumps. These are the order bumps.
We do two or three of these, then we take them over to the next page, which is a book a call. Alright? And so for this offer, when you start off, just front end and order bumps.
You can add upsells later on, but to start, we wanna figure out and prove. Can we take someone from a $17 product and get them to a 5,000 plus dollar back end offer? Once we have the numbers and KPIs there, then we can add friction in between, help our AOV go up, and then optimize it from there.
But to start, $17 front end, three order bumps, book a call. Stick to that. Do not break that road map.
I swear. If you break that road map, then don't come back thinking it didn't work. Just stick to that.
Trust me. I've done this for hundreds of offers, then we can add the upsells later on. Sound good?
Perfect. Alrighty. Order bumps.
You can see the pricing here, what they could be. The bump rules. Alright?
Number one, they need to help them get the results faster. Speed is the best thing for bumps. Swipes, tools, templates, checklist.
Removes creative thinking. If you taught them to creatively think for themselves, a course masterclass in the front end, then what you wanna do is sell them tools, templates, checklists to go with it. We did that with high ticket accounting masterclass.
You go to here if you were to opt and go to next step. You can see we did a worksheet on how to package your offer and then the sales script. It all goes along with the front end offer, and so that's what we like to do there.
Now you gotta make sure your bumps complement your front end offer and don't replace it. And then on top of that, you can also just default the tools and templates, AI prompts, and AI things you just code. And, like, you literally just, like, go to Claude or Manus, make an AI tool that goes with it that helps one step the process.
Say it's AI called a dashboard, and it will absolutely cook. So if you wanna do something like that, that works super well. Now the goal is to have a 50 plus dollar AOV with front ends and bumps, and you wanna aim for a 40% bump take rate.
Again, if you want more of these notes, you want this document just so you have it, just take a screenshot of this YouTube video. Go ahead and put it on x. Tag me so I can see it, and I'll send this over to you.
Now payment number four, thou shalt build a three step funnel. We talked about this. The structure that works right now is front end sales page, order bump, book a call.
That's it. Alright? I'll try to pull this up here so I can show you I did do an entire course breaking down how to do a low ticket call funnel in the different steps so that you can see that, but that's how we do it.
It's just front end. We go to the bumps, and then we go to book a call. I'll just zoom in here so you can see.
Again, this is what it look like. Alright? We have the front end sales page.
We have the order form, and then book a call. We do the Zoom call. Then we do email, Zoom, and all these other things, which we'll talk about later.
Again, if you want this Figma board, the whole free course that is on my YouTube channel, it's, like, forty minutes long. Go check it out. Alright?
Now commandment number five, thou shalt frame the book of all upsell with AARC ARC framework. This is how we do this for all of our upsells.
After they buy your product, how do we make them want the back end? They just bought the little ticket. Why would they wanna book a call for the end?
Very simple. What you wanna do is the AARC, affirm the purchase, agitate the problem, reveal the solution to that problem, and close with a clear CTA to book a call.
If you wanna see, I did a video on my YouTube channel info upsell masterclass. I spoke in front of Russell Brunson at Russell Brunson's event for OfferLab that I got invited to in Boise in person, and I shared it. It's a seventeen minute long video going through this in-depth, but we always make sure to follow this for our book a call upsell.
Affirm the purchase. Congrats. You just bought this.
It's awesome. It's amazing. Agitate the execution gap.
Hey. Here's the gap to get to the next thing or to to the next outcome. And then we say, hey.
We reveal the solution, which is the high ticket offer, and then we close with a clear CTA. Alright? That simple again.
I have a deeper video going into that, which you guys can out. Commandment number six, thou shalt launch ads with direct messaging. Now when it comes to ads, it's not gonna be a seller.
It's like click here to learn more or click here to check this out. We say there's a price. We mention the price.
We show the price. Our statics say discounts. Sometimes we don't even say price, but we say, like, hey.
There's a discount. There's 80% off, 50% off, whatever it is. So people are clicking and know they're going into a purchasing decision.
If they go to your page and they freaking get there and they thought it was a free webinar, a free training, they see a freaking price point. Sorry.
I'm saying frick a ton. My bad. If you get to that page and they see there's a price point, they're going to bounce.
So if you have a high click through rate that's over 3%, it is 6%, and then your front end conversion page opt in rate is below 6% or even that low, and they're bouncing off the page, your clarity heat map tracker is showing that, that just means that they didn't know they're going into a purchase decision. You got curiosity clicks and you need to fix your ads.
Okay? So that's why it's important to have direct messaging in your ads. Now commandment number seven is thou shalt build an email ascension system.
Now there's three sequences we run. Sequence number one is welcome and onboarding. Day one, confirm the purchase, how to access product, what to do first.
Day two through seven, daily motivation to use a product with soft CTAs to book a call, and the goal is to get them into the product and build a relationship, and the tone is helpful, not sales y. Sequence number two is every single week, we promote a webinar. So I do a webinar.
We're actually doing once a day. Right now, 80 of our pits are coming from people to attend the webinar. And so every single week, we do a webinar, which I have a video or I'll do another deeper video on it.
If you go to my livestream section, I talk about how to do that. So, again, I know a lot of plugs with our videos, my channel literally has all my information for you to check it out. But we do a webinar, and it's very simple.
We'll just go in, and we'll say, hey, welcome and answer questions, and we make a pitch at the end. So it's pretty much a live q and a with the owner. But we promote this.
Everyone on the list gets a webinar promo. And then after that, if that doesn't happen, we just do ongoing broadcast like we'd do for your normal funnel. Getting in the book of call.
We do CTAs with email, case studies, social proof, motivation, and objection handling. Now command number eight is host a weekly fast track call on Zoom. Like I said, this is a powerful tool.
We have 50% of attendees book a call. They're super warmed up, and they love it. And so, again, very simple introduction, engagement.
We get them to comment, onboarding. We get them to product. We create an open loop to stay until the end.
We do a training for twelve minutes. We do a CTA to book a call, and then we do q and a for the remaining time. That's it.
You can do this. You got it. I do this right now for our offers, and it absolutely rips.
Alright? It's amazing. Commandment number nine, thou shalt deploy outbound setters and membership CTAs.
So you wanna call and text every buyer within twenty minutes to a few hours of purchase, frame it as a customer service onboarding, not sales. If they engage and then they don't wanna book a call, then we push them to the webinar. Inside the membership area, every video module, we embed a link to the VSL which is hosted in the membership.
So we don't take them off the membership area. We just link to the membership video, which is a VSL for them to book a call. And so we definitely do that and then just have it everywhere in the video CTAs to do it.
And then the last commandment, command number 10 is thou shalt validate, optimize, then scale with discipline. So phase one of a looks good offer is validate the front end, get it to 10 to 15 front end buyers a day, get it within KPI. Once you're at that, optimize for the back end conversion rate.
So once we have this coming in, then we wanna optimize to the back end. So we wanna get one to 3% of our buyers to close in the high ticket within a thirty day window. And then phase number three is we scale the front end now that we know that we can ascend.
Because we wanna know who are buying the offer, then we wanna know they're sending on back end, and then we can push spend on the front end. Okay? And so I have some of the metrics here.
Again, if you want this document, you can go and take a screenshot of this, tag me at x. I'll send it over to you. Just let people know about this free video, this amazing document.
And those are the 10 commandments to live by and follow if you are trying to elote a call funnel. Now again, if you guys haven't, make sure to go watch the free course that I hosted on YouTube. It's forty minutes long going through how to build a low call funnel.
And this is the single best way if you wanna get clients practically free or if you wanna launch a cold friendly offer for one of your clients or for yourself, you need a low tier call funnel. I'm not even lying to The amount of brands and info companies that you look up to, that you study, that are in the masterminds that you're a part of, that are coming to us, desperately wanting a cold friendly low tier call funnel is insane.
They know the math. They see it. Ryan Clog used it.
They talk about it. Jeremy Miner, some of the top people, and Jeremy Haynes, Massifying, again, we work with. They're using these.
You need these. If you want to be able to scale into cold traffic, you need a funnel like this. It is the best reinvestment model that you can have.
