Big Idea
The argument in one line.
Becoming a social media millionaire is a math problem solved with one high-ticket offer, one niche held for years, and DM conversations that turn attention into booked calls.
Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
A coach, consultant or service provider with a skill and a little audience who wants a concrete path from posting to a high-ticket income.
A solo business owner stuck around $10K to $25K a month who suspects the bottleneck is lead flow, DMs or sales calls and not more content.
Someone chasing three side hustles at once who needs a reason to pick a single lane and stay in it.
SKIP IF…
You want ad revenue, sponsorships or brand deals as your main income, since the video argues those will not get you to seven figures.
You sell a low-ticket product at scale to a mass audience, because the whole system assumes $1,000+ offers and sales calls.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
Brian Mark argues that a social media millionaire is built from simple math: sell 1,000 people a $1,000 offer, which is about 20 sales a week. He says to pick one lane and hold it for years, charge high ticket from day one (discounting only to five case-study clients), and treat Instagram as a storefront with connection, value and proof content posted several times a day. Revenue comes from conversations, not posts: ManyChat comment triggers and a short DM opener lead to free strategy calls where the offer is pitched. When growth stalls, fix the single biggest constraint, then hire by documenting the role, training for four weeks and adding roles as revenue climbs.

02 · Step 2: Pick one lane
Stay in one niche for years; his eight years coaching personal trainers made him the dominant player.
05:45 – 09:30
03 · Step 3: Charge high ticket at the start
Why low prices attract uncommitted buyers, how to land five discounted case-study clients, and how to build and price your first offer.

04 · Step 4: Content that turns attention into cash
Instagram as a storefront, the connection, value and proof mix, posting volume, and repurposing a viral idea.

05 · Step 5: Turn conversations into closed deals
ManyChat triggers, the DM opener, free strategy sessions, and the call-to-sales numbers.

Making a million dollars and being a millionaire are different things; the useful definition is $1M of revenue in one calendar year, because only a quantified goal can be planned.
At a $1,000 price point, a million dollars is 1,000 sales a year, 83 a month, or 20 a week.
Charging $99 forces you to sell 10,000 people to hit seven figures, which is ten times harder than selling 1,000 at $1,000.
Sponsorships, brand deals and platform ad revenue will not make you a millionaire; owning and selling your own offer will.
People do not buy your product, they buy a permanent solution to a painful problem, and pain sets the price.
Chasing multiple income streams early means catching none; expertise in one lane for years is what lets you command high-ticket prices.
A viral video does not grow a business by itself; one of his 14M-view videos got half its views from India.
Treat your profile as a storefront and every post as an item on the shelf, all aimed at the one person your bio names.
Mix three content types: connection content so they know you, value content that gets results for free, and social proof from paying clients.
Value nobody watches is not valuable, so the format and packaging matter as much as the advice.
When one video rips, rescript it, turn it into a carousel, then a split screen; Instagram is interest media, so repeating a winner does not bore your followers.
You are not in the content business, you are in the conversation business; people buy after many posts and a DM exchange.
A cold opener that reportedly gets a 25% response rate: thank them for supporting your content and ask if they are trying to grow their business or just enjoying the content.
Do not cold DM strangers; use content to prospect and message only people who already engage with you.
Most sales objections are smoke screens for something you missed in discovery, so improve discovery instead of rebuttal scripts.
If your time is worth $125 an hour, paying an editor $1,000 to replace 40 hours of your work saves you $4,000.
If the business only works when you are in it, it is a high-paying job, not a business.
Takeaway
Eight steps from wish to seven-figure year.
WHAT TO LEARN
A seven-figure social media business is a planning exercise: pick the number, hold one lane, sell a high-ticket offer and win in the conversation.
Divide your revenue goal by your price to get sales per year, month and week; a number you can see feels attainable and can be planned.
Pain sets price, so sell a permanent solution to a problem someone already feels strongly about, not a generic product.
Choosing one lane and staying for years builds the expertise that justifies high-ticket pricing and gets you invited into bigger rooms.
Charge $1,000 to $5,000 for your first offer and, if you have no proof, discount to five case-study clients in exchange for results and testimonials.
Build an offer by listing everything it solves, ordering the steps into a timeline, and checking competitors' prices before you set yours.
Treat your profile as a storefront and post a mix of connection, value and proof content, aimed at the one person your bio names.
Start at two posts a day if six is too much, and reuse any winner as a rescript, carousel or split screen, since the algorithm is already favoring it.
Start conversations with people who already engage: use a comment trigger or a short DM opener, then offer a free strategy session instead of pitching cold.
Name your single biggest constraint across content, lead gen, DMs and closing and put all your effort there until it moves.
When closing stalls, improve discovery on the call so the real objections surface early instead of rehearsing rebuttals.
Document a role by screen recording yourself, turn it into an SOP a younger sibling could follow, and train live for about four weeks.
Hire against your hourly value: paying someone $5 to $25 an hour for work that costs you $125 an hour buys back time for sales and content.

This is the exact blueprint that I would follow to become a millionaire with social media. My Instagram brings in over a million dollars a month. But 13 years ago, I was dead broke, literally sleeping on my grandma's couch.
So if I can do it, so can you. Here's every step in order. Starting with step number one, what is a millionaire?
And I know that sounds stupid, but this is actually very important if you want to achieve this goal. Everyone says they want to be a millionaire, but nobody can tell you what it actually means. Making a million dollars and being a millionaire are two completely different things.
My definition of being a millionaire is you do over a million dollars worth of revenue in one calendar year. Until you turn it into a number that you can quantify, becoming a millionaire is just a wish and not an actual goal. When I was 19 years old, I worked for this guy at a nightclub and he was a millionaire.
And I wanted to sit him down and figure out like, how do I become a millionaire? You know? And so I asked him, I'm like, brother, like I love working for you.
And I was wondering if I could pick your brain and go for coffee and ask you about how to become a millionaire. And he said, sure. And he taught me the most simple lesson that I've ever learned in my entire life.
He said, Brian, what do you sell? And I said, I sell online training and nutrition packages. He said, how much is your package?
I said, my package is a thousand dollars. And then he asked me one simple question that seemed so basic that I wish that I would have thought about this sooner. He said, How many of those do you need to sell in a year in order to make a million dollars?
And I did the math and I said, well, if I sell a thousand people at a thousand dollars, I make a million. He's like, exactly. He's like, that's your blueprint.
All you need to do is sell a thousand people at a thousand dollars and you become a millionaire. And that seems so basic. But then if you break that down further, if I sell a thousand people a year, that means I need to sell 83 people per month, which means I need to sell 20 people per week.
And if I sell 20 people per week, I become a millionaire. Once I actually saw those numbers sitting in front of me, it didn't seem like an unrealistic goal. It actually seemed attainable.
Now, here's how this works in social media. You post a piece of content that gets a thousand views. Out of those 1000 views, there's going to be a small percentage of people that are actually interested in your offer.
So let's say out of a thousand people, you get five people that are interested in your offer. Out of those five people that are interested in your offer, let's say four of them book in for a sales call. Out of those four that book in for a sales call, let's say you close two deals and those two deals pay you a thousand dollars each.
That's off of one video that gets a thousand views. But if you're posting 30 videos a month, that's 30 ,000 views. And you continue to do this math.
And the more that you post, the more views that you generate, the more interest that you generate, the more clients that you can sell. And just to be super clear, you will not become a millionaire off of brand deals, sponsorships, or ad revenue paid from Facebook. It's just not going to happen.
And I realized this when I was a kid because I became a pro fitness model and thought to myself, if I become a pro fitness model, I'm going to get sponsorships, brand deals, magazine covers. And once I became a pro and nobody came knocking, I realized that if I don't create an offer for myself and sell that myself, nobody's going to become a millionaire for me.
I needed to create a high ticket product or service that I could sell for a thousand dollars or more because now I don't even need to worry about growing a gigantic audience. If I can get five people interested out of a thousand views on a video, I can turn myself into a millionaire. And I know what you might be thinking, but Brian, there's no way that somebody would pay me a thousand dollars for an online coaching service.
I want you to imagine you come across a client. His name is John. He struggled with weight his entire life.
For 30 years, he's been overweight. And he comes across a person that says this. If you work with me for 16 weeks, I will help you drop 30 pounds, get you in the best shape of your life.
will be confident being able to go to the beach and take your shirt off. What is that actually worth to John? When somebody is in enough pain, they will pay whatever the price is required in order to solve that problem.
In America, we see this in healthcare all the time. If I break my leg, I'm in America and I go to the hospital and they give me the bill after they fix my broken leg, I'm going to pay it. in order to solve that problem i'm going to pay whatever the bill is required so when somebody's in enough pain and they want to solve a specific problem they absolutely will pay high ticket money in order to remove that problem what you have to understand about selling something for a thousand dollars or more is that people are not buying your product they're buying a permanent solution to the problem that they have and that is priceless but you're only going to be able to command those prices if you stick to the same thing for multiple years which leads me to step number two which is pick one lane and stay in it for years Most people think that being rich means multiple income streams.
I'm going to start this business here. I'm going to invest here. I'm going to develop this skill over here, start this AI automation business over here.
But what actually happens is when you chase multiple rabbits, you catch no rabbits because you're not good enough at any of these things to actually be able to monetize. So what I chose to do is I chose one lane and I stuck to it. First, I became an online fitness coach and I help people lose weight through health and fitness.
I did that for five years. Over the course of five years, I worked with over 1 ,000 high ticket online fitness coaching clients. I became so good.
at that that people started asking me how i built my online business so i pivoted i started teaching personal trainers how to build successful online coaching businesses there's a lot of opportunities for me to sidetrack during that eight years but i stayed focused on one lane and i became the number one business coach for online personal trainers and i've worked with over 14 000 clients at this point because i became such a subject matter expert in this one area i started getting invited to speak at gigantic conferences like the limitless arena that had 10 000 people in it or funnel hacking live with 3 000 marketers now i've got the opportunity to coach some of the highest level business owners in the space you know some of my clients are doing over 150 million dollars a year and i'm coaching them on social media strategy the only reason i got to this level is because i stayed focused on one lane and i got really good at one thing and just to be super clear i stayed focused on business coaching with all my personal trainers for eight years i did five live streams per week recording my podcast every week for five years straight
That's staying focused on one area until you become the absolute dominant player in the space. And trust me, I understand what the lady in the red dress looks like, where you get the sexy opportunity that comes across your desk and you're thinking about taking it. But I absolutely promise you that nothing will pay you more money than being a subject matter expert in your field.
The reason that people will pay you high ticket is because you are the best in the industry. I can charge whatever price I want to charge now for any of my products or services because when people come to me, they know that I'm the best. Now, I fucked this up myself, okay?
So I've said yes to opportunities where I became a partner in somebody else's business. It was a rev share opportunity and they were a big influencer and I thought that I was gonna help them blow their business up and make all this money, but it ended up being a complete distraction and all of the focus that I was putting into their business, I actually took off of my business and while I was trying to get this thing off the ground, my revenue dropped substantially.
So even if I ended up getting money from this thing, it would have just made up for the deficit that I actually caused in my own company. Long story short, stay focused, one thing which leads me to path number three once you go down that path you want to charge high ticket at the start Everybody thinks that starting cheap is how you're going to get more people to buy.
But the reality of the situation is that you're just going to attract broke people that don't actually commit. Not to mention, let's say you wanted to make a million dollars. Let's do the math.
And you were charging $99. You would have to sell 10 ,000 people in order to become a millionaire. That's significantly harder than selling a thousand.
So it makes it harder for you to get to your goals. And you attract people that don't actually commit to their goals because they're not actually investing enough to take it seriously. And listen, high ticket will actually give you more money to be able to invest in your business.
High ticket will also give you the ability to fully. focused on the clients that you currently have. Because if you have 10 clients that pay you $1 ,000, that's significantly easier than serving 100 clients that are paying you $99.
You'll be able to deliver a better experience, they'll be able to get better results, and you'll be able to use their testimonials to attract more clients. Here's the nuance. If you're brand new and you're just getting started and you have absolutely no credibility and no social proof, I would reach out to five people in your market right now and offer them a significant discount on whatever your high ticket offer is.
The reason that I would do this is because you can work with a small group of people and get them incredible results. Use those testimonials to attract your actual high -ticket clients. I did this with my business.
And so PT Domination, the company that's generated over $50 million, started out with two of my clients. One of them was my best friend at the time that was an in -person trainer. The other one is now my wife.
Fun fact, I married my first client. That's another story for another day. But I just reached out to them and I knew that they were struggling in -person trainer and I was like, hey, I'm building this new offer where I teach personal trainers how to grow online businesses.
I'd love for you to be my case study. I'm gonna be charging $5 ,000 for this offer. I'll give it to you for $1 ,500 and I'll deliver an absolutely incredible, amazing experience.
And I help you build a successful online coaching business. I just want to be able to document it as a case study. And they said, yes.
And I said, awesome. And I worked with them for a period of eight weeks. I got both of them to $10 ,000 a month.
Then I use those testimonials in my marketing in order to attract my next round of clients. Now don't do what I did, but I sold my first ever meal plan for $200. Somebody came up to me at the bar at Jameson's and was like, bro, can you write me a meal plan?
And I was like, eh, I don't really do that. He's like, I'll give you $200. And I was like.
I'm fucking in. And now that to me was the first money that I ever made online. And I was like, holy shit, I can't actually believe that somebody paid me $200 for a program that evolved to $1 ,000 for 16 weeks, $5 ,000 for six months, $10 ,000 for the year.
And now at this point, I charge $150 ,000 to work with me one -on -one in VIP coaching. Now here's how you can generate one offer that you can go to market with. First, you want to identify who is the person that you want to solve a problem for.
So if your skill is a automation, who is the person that you want to solve a problem for? Okay. It's a business owner.
What specific part of their business do you think that you could automate? I can automate their entire sales process from start to finish.
Okay, so if that's the case, then what you wanna do is you wanna write out on a whiteboard all of the things that your offer would help them solve. So like in a bullet point list, all of the things that your offer would help them solve, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, and all the things that they would need to do from start to finish in order to get this offer off the ground.
Then what you wanna do is you wanna create a timeline. What is the first thing that you would do with them, the second thing you would do with them, the third thing you would do with them, the fourth thing you would do with them, the fifth thing you would do with them. Organize all of your bullet points onto a timeline.
That timeline will become the blueprint for either your course or the offer that you're making. Once you have the course or the offer that you're making, ask yourself one simple question. What is the market charging for this right now?
Go out and research some of your competitors that are currently doing what you want to do right now and figure out what the price point of those offers are. You can also do some investigation and figure out what's in their offers and you can steal some of those elements and plug them into your own. Now, I know that there's advice online that says charge so much that they're going to gasp at the price.
But if you're brand new to the high ticket space, I do not recommend doing that because you actually want to get some reps under your belt where people say yes to you. And nobody's going to say yes to you if you have no credibility or social proof to back up. your experience.
So I would recommend charging a thousand to $5 ,000 for your high ticket service until you can actually demonstrate that you know what you're doing. And then you can slowly but surely increase the price. And that is exactly why I can charge $150 ,000 for 12 months of VIP one -on -one coaching with me.
Because at this point, I've grown my social medias to over a million followers. I'll get business owners that are doing 150 million plus per year that will come to me to get me to personally advise them on their social media strategy. Because I have the credibility, I can charge that to those business owners.
Now let's move over to the content that you're actually going to produce, which moves me to step four. I want to make content that turns attention into cash. Everybody thinks that if you go viral, your business is automatically going to grow.
And that's just not the case. Some of my most viral videos on my page, like this one right here that has 14 million views. half of the views ended up being from India.
So going viral by itself does not grow your business. In fact, you need to turn your Instagram into a marketing funnel. I'm not saying that getting more attention isn't important, but that's only half of the equation.
If you get attention without getting them to convert from your Instagram page, nothing is gonna work. I view my Instagram like a storefront. Here's exactly what this means.
Your Instagram profile should be optimized so that it talks about the products or service that you offer for the type of person that you offer it for. So if you look at my profile, you will see most valuable business account on Instagram. coaches make up 10k to 100k a month so if somebody lands on my profile immediately they know that it's exactly for them so this is my storefront I view the content that I'm posting on my page as the items in the store and so every piece of content that I post on my Instagram page is designed to give value to the person that my bio says that I help now when I'm posting content on my page I post three different types of content in order to get these people's attention I post connection content which helps them get to know me as a person and know me as a brand this is content that is about my story my struggles the things that I've been through in to become the person that i am today i post value content which is so good that my audience can get results for free without ever hiring me step by step by step value designed for the one person that i named in my bio and i post social proof content which is testimonial videos of my clients that are in my program that are currently paying me getting incredible results that way when this person that my bio is speaking to lands on my instagram page they can see that i'm already working with clients that are getting great results now most business owners fail at this stage because they understand that their social media is designed to convert and so they'll pull out their phone and they'll start
talking about extremely boring subjects that are way too niche, which don't get me wrong. If you think about the definition of value, it's value that is so good that people could get results for free without ever hiring you. But my question for you is if you don't capture somebody's attention and they don't watch the video and consume the content, is it valuable?
So part of the game is not only giving the value that's so good. But the other part of the game is doing it in a format or doing it in a way that actually captivates people's attention and makes them watch the video. So if you're stuck in low view jail, it's not because the value that you're delivering isn't actually good, but it's likely because the value you're delivering isn't in a format that's currently working on social media right now or with a packaging that actually receives attention on social media.
So half of the game is creating value that's so good people get results for free without ever hiring you. And the other half of the game is knowing how to actually capture people's attention that are within that niche and make them want to come to your page and watch. your videos now if you want to get rich from social media you need to look at the most successful people in the industry and model their habits so if you go to a guy like alex ramos's page alex ramos is posting eight times a day seven days a week You go to a guy like Gary Vaynerchuk's page.
Gary Vaynerchuk is posting eight times a day, seven days a week on multiple platforms. So you want to model successful behavior. If you're first getting started, that can be extremely overwhelming and you might not be able to commit to that because you don't have a full -on media team.
But you absolutely can start with two posts a day, every day, seven days of the week. And the more posts that you get out, the more at -bats that you have, the more chances you have of going viral within your niche. Now, on my Instagram account, I post six times a day, seven days a week.
And these posts are a mixture of connection, proof, and value content. Content that's designed to get me seen, content that's designed to get people to like me, and content that's designed to to get people to trust me.
Now, here's the real sauce, okay? Once you start posting on social media, you're gonna have one video that absolutely rips. You need to double down on that idea.
You can take that idea and re -script it again with a different outfit. You can take that idea and you can turn it into a carousel. And you might think that you don't wanna repurpose your viral idea because you don't wanna bore your audience, but that's not how Instagram works.
Instagram is no longer social media, it's interest media. What that means is that when you post a piece of content, it's not like all of your followers are gonna see that piece of content. Instagram's gonna show your content to people that it believes would engage with that piece of content.
content and it doesn't select the same group of people every single time what I'm telling you is that when you have an idea that ends up going viral what that's telling you right now is that the Instagram algorithm is currently favoring that idea and thinks it has a high chance of doing well so it's gonna push that idea out so take that idea rescript that exact same script and do it again take that script and turn that script into a carousel take that carousel and turn that carousel into a split screen and you can repurpose and repackage your ideas over and over and over again As you can see from my content, these videos are almost all the exact same video.
And these videos all together have brought me in over 100 million views. Now I can get into like the intricacies of what formats you should post in and how frequently you should post. And if you guys want to get more stuff like that, there's a ton of resources on this channel.
But I'm going to give you something that you can do today in order to get your social media journey started. Pull out your phone and do FaceTime talk to the cam content. That content is by far the best performing format right now in social media.
And it's so easy to do and it's so easy to edit. And you might be thinking, but like Brian, what should I post? I don't know what to talk about.
Well, if you're watching this video, that means that you consume content. And if you consume content, you have creators that you follow and you respect. So go to some creators pages that you follow and respect some of the ideas that you'd like to model.
Take some of those ideas and start speaking on some of the concepts that are doing well on their page. And that is where you're going to start. And don't compare your chapter one to somebody else's chapter 10.
Like eventually you can get to a point where you're doing all these different formats. and ideas like this carousel right here that brought me in over 2 million views and 4 ,000 followers from one post. But if you just start with your FaceTime videos, it's gonna get you in the game and then you can get better.
Which brings me to step five, you need to turn conversations into closed deals. Everybody thinks that they're in the content business if they wanna make money on social media and that's not the case at all. You're not in the content business, you're in the conversation business.
On social media, people don't see one post from you and then they choose to buy. They see multiple posts from you and then from those multiple posts, they choose to get into a DM conversation with you and through that DM conversation, with you they end up purchasing your product this is even applicable for you if you're selling some sort of low ticket service somebody has to comment on your video they get the many chat from the many chat they go to a website and they end up purchasing all of it happens through a conversation and here's the thing about social media it's called social media social equals have conversations with humans most people treat social media like a billboard they just post on social media and they never go into the dms and they never interact with anybody but if you look at the reality of how the majority of people use social media they're not using social media to post content they're using social media to consume content and then use the DM feature or use the comment feature.
That's it. Then 99 % of people that are buying something from somebody on social media aren't actually posting super consistently. They're watching content, which is why you need to be visible on social media.
And then they're either commenting on videos, liking videos, or getting into the DMs with people. So you need to meet them where they're at, which is in the DMs. And you need to have a real conversation with these people about what they're struggling with, what their goals are, what their story is.
And then if somebody has a problem that you could actually solve, then offering them a strategy session and helping them with that problem for free. And then through that strategy session, you're ultimately going to be able to close the deal. Now, there's two ways to get into conversations with people that are in your audience that potentially want to buy your stuff.
One is you can set up ManyChat automations for your Instagram stories and all of the posts that you make. And so if you make a post that talks about how to get a specific result in a specific timeframe, you could say something at the end of the video like, if you want me to send you the cheat sheet with everything included in this video, follow me and comment game and I'll send it over to you.
Then as soon as somebody comments the word game, ManyChat will start a conversation with them and that will be the first line of messaging in which you can talk to them. The second way is you can just outbound people that are already engaging with your profile. To be clear, you're never going to random hashtags or strangers profiles.
files to send people a cold dm that never works and people hate it instead you're using your content to do the prospecting then when people engage with your content you're starting a conversation with them based off of that and a super quick opener that you can use in any dm conversation that gets a 25 response rate hey nick thanks so much for supporting my content are you trying to grow your business right now or just enjoying the content From there, that will open up the conversation if they're trying to grow their business to which you can ask them a couple of qualifying questions to get to know them.
At that point, if they do have a problem that you can solve, you can offer them a free strategy session. And on that free strategy session is when you would make your high ticket offer pitch. Just to give you guys context, I'm going to walk you through some of the book calls to sales that I've made in a month's time.
Once you have those conversations, those conversations lead to a successful sales calls booked in the calendar. So here's some of my numbers from a previous month. This is 879 calls booked, 73 of them canceled, 581 showed up for a 72 % show rate, and that led to 272 sales.
Now, these are obviously my numbers, but I just wanted to give you some rough metrics of what's possible with this system when you actually use the DMs to start conversations and book sales calls. Which leads me to point number six, which is fixing one constraint at a time. Now, everybody thinks when growth stalls in your business that you just do more of everything.
And that's the complete opposite of the truth. What you need to do is you need to sit down and you need to identify what is the current biggest problem that my business has that is preventing it from growing. And you might be thinking, but Brian, my content's bad.
My sales are down. My lead gen is down. Like all of it is like on fire and I don't know what to fix.
You need to write down all of those problems on a piece of paper and you need to write down what is the number one thing that's causing these problems all to happen. Okay, well, if content's down and lead gen's down and sales are down, What would be the thing that would immediately make a difference in the business?
Well, if you're only booking one sales call a week, that's not really a big focus because even if you got your sales better, that's not really going to have a significant impact. If there's not enough leads in your account to be able to book enough sales calls, then you can't really focus on lead generation because that's not really going to solve the problem.
If your content isn't bringing enough traffic in order to book more sales calls in order to get more people on the phone to close, then content is for sure the biggest constraint. Because if you solve the content issue and all of a sudden your content started bringing you in qualified buyers on a regular basis that would automatically help your lead gen.
And if that helped your lead gen book more sales calls, that would automatically put more deals on your calendar. And if you had more at bats, you would automatically close more deals. What you need to do is you need to figure out what the biggest gap in your business is.
It might be content, but it also could be lead gen. Maybe your content's doing good and you're not booking sales calls. Maybe you're booking sales calls, but they're not actually showing up.
It might be getting your show up rate dialed in. Maybe people are showing up, but you're just not closing them. You need to work on your closing.
Whatever the bottleneck is in your business, you need to identify what that constraint is and focus 100 % of your energy on that problem until it is fully resolved. So if content is the bottleneck, there's one of two problems that you have. One, you don't have enough top of funnel content, which means broad value and connection content.
So you need to research some of the top performing content in your industry that other viral creators are making and take those into your content strategy and recreate some of those videos. Two, your ads stopped bringing in the right people, which means you've got a follower ad running and it's not actually bringing in the right people.
So you might need to change up the follower ad, switch up the creative. So you start bringing in the more of the right people to your page. At the end of the day, there's only two ways to get more traffic to your Instagram page.
One is top of funnel content. Two is follower ads. You need to take a look at those two things to identify which one of those is causing the issue.
And just to be clear, I'd recommend using follower ads once you start making $10 ,000 plus per month. If DMs are the constraint, you 100 % need to work on your setting process to make sure that your conversations actually sound like a real human. Most people just find a DM script online and they run their prospect through question after question after question without making the prospect feel seen.
If you're getting people on calls but you're not able to close the deal, there's one of two things that you need to look at. One is your actual content strategy. Are you posting enough social proof on your page for people that are getting on the call to see that you're already working with clients that are getting great results?
Two, you might actually have to audit the entire sales process. Most of the time when people are getting objections at the end of the call, it has nothing to do with the actual objection itself. The objection is just a smoke screen for something that you didn't cover in the discovery.
So if you're struggling to get deals over the line, don't focus on finding the best talking tracks to overcome objections. Instead, focus on getting better at the discovery process to uncover the objections before they come up. Because by the time you get to the end of the call, you want the only objection to be how much is the price and is there any way that I can split this up?
Now, once you scale these constraints, you're going to be making more money and you're going to need to build a team in order to grow your business, which leads me to step number seven. Now, I know what you might be thinking, but Brian, I don't want to hire anybody. I don't want to spend my money on paying somebody to work in my business.
Here's what you don't realize, okay? Hiring somebody to do a job in your business doesn't cost you money. It makes you money.
And I'm going to prove it to you with your numbers. Let's say you make $20 ,000 a month, all right? And you work 40 hours a week.
That's 160 hours in a month. Your time is worth $125 an hour. Now, let's say you're doing your video editing as an example.
Let's say you're editing for 40 hours a month, okay? 40 hours a month. That's $5 ,000 worth of your time that you are spending on...
editing videos. Dude, you can be spending that time making money. You can hire a video editor for $1 ,000, which means you're actually going to be saving $4 ,000 by paying a video editor to edit all of your videos for you.
And that's just one area of the business. If you think about all the time that you spend in the DMs to book qualified sales calls. It's like, yeah, you don't want to pay somebody to be in your DMs for you.
But what you don't realize is by you doing the DMs yourself and your time is worth $125 an hour, you are actually losing $120 an hour because you could find a DM center that could do that for you for $5 an hour. The biggest reason that business owners stay stuck around $25 ,000 a month is they don't know how to hire, train and lead people effectively.
And listen, if the business only works when you're in it, it's not really a business. It's just a high paying job. I'm going to be completely honest.
I screwed this up at the start of my journey. I had no idea what to do. I had no idea how to hire and I was just winging it.
And so I remember I got to a point where I was so overwhelmed in my business that I absolutely needed to hire somebody. So I called my auntie and I asked her if she could move some stuff over from a portal that I created over into a Facebook community where I was putting all my course in. And she did that task in less than two hours.
And that was going to take me a full day. And I was like, holy crap, what else can she do? I was like, can you just do my DMs for me?
So all of a sudden, my auntie was in my DMs booking qualified sales calls with potential prospects. And then once I realized how effective that was and how much time I had back, I was like, oh my gosh, I'm going to hire another person to be in my DMs for me. I don't want to do this anymore.
And then slowly over time, I started building up all these roles in my company. And now I've got 65 people that work for me at my company that I'm doing $1 .5 million a month. And every business owner that I'm working with at $100 ,000 a month has 10 to 15 people that are working underneath them to buy back their time.
Now, when it comes to hiring people, the first thing you need to do is you need to get very clear on what the job role actually is. In order to very clear on what the job role actually is document yourself doing the job and so let's say you want to hire a va to help you with your dms what you need to do is you need to document every single thing that you do from start to finish even the things that you do that you don't think are important so just screen record yourself doing all the things that you're currently doing and then after that you want to just write a bullet point list of all of those tasks then you want to create a clearly defined definition for those tasks and you want to simplify it so that it was so easy that if you handed that guide to your little sister your little sister would understand how to do the job that's how you create an sop when it comes to actually training somebody on how to do this each individual part of that job role you need to spend an hour to two hours with the person actually drilling them and showing them how to do it most business owners fail at hiring and training people because they give them a manual on how to complete the job but they don't actually demonstrate how to do it and if somebody is not
but the type of person that learns from reading, then they're not actually gonna learn the job. So I like to demonstrate and actually show people in field each individual specific part of the role and give them a chance to ask me questions so they gain a deeper level understanding of this process. This is gonna take about four weeks to get somebody from zero to actually good at the job that you want them to do.
And that's four weeks of training with them every single day for 30 minutes to an hour a day. This will be worth it. And yes, it's going to take time to train these people and it's gonna feel in that time that you're taking that your business is taking a step backwards.
However, what you're doing is you're actually buying back your time because now instead of spending four hours a day in the dms you're only spending 30 minutes to an hour training this person and ultimately at the end of that four weeks now all of that time that you were spending in the dms you no longer have to spend so now you can spend your time on high ro activities for me that's creating content sales and coaching my clients now based on my experience here's the hires you should make at each level from zero to 10k don't hire a single person you only need to focus on content creation, lead generation, sales, and fulfillment.
From 10K to 25K a month, you want to hire a DM setter and you want to hire a support coach, somebody to help you out in the back end fulfilling with your clients. From 25K to 50K a month, you want to have a minimum of two setters and you also want to have a community manager, somebody that can help you manage the community for your clients.
And then from 50K to 100K a month, you should have three virtual assistants, a phone closer, two support coaches, and an operations manager. This person is somebody that can help you track all of your numbers and make sure your KPIs are on point. Now, the next logical question you might be thinking is like but where do i find these people there's tons of resources online to show you guys how to do this but if you guys want me to make a video on this just comment with the word team on this video and i can do one of those in the future now step number eight and the last and most important step is don't forget to enjoy it now everybody always thinks that as soon as you start making more money that immediately all of your problems go away and that's the farthest part from the truth because if you're just focused on the end destination and all of your focus is on that that journey that you're trying to get to you're going to miss the road along the way Now if you're driving so fast down the highway and you're speeding down the highway, you're not actually looking at the scenery.
So don't forget to enjoy yourself along the way. Becoming a millionaire isn't about the money that you make. It's about the person that you become in the process.
For me, becoming a millionaire allowed me to give up my drug addiction. It allowed me to become a better man. It allowed me to become an honest man.
It allowed me to become a good and present father because I wanted to develop my business to a point where I wasn't actually good to the business. And it allowed me to provide for my family in a way that I never even imagined was possible. All of those are the actual rewards of becoming a millionaire.
Making the money is just a side benefit of all of those things. And so as you're on your journey to becoming a millionaire, and as you walk down this path of using social media to become rich don't forget to enjoy yourself along the way because the journey is the fucking point now if you're watching this and you are a business owner that wants to learn how to grow and sell on social media tap the button in the description of this video to apply to work with me and my team And don't worry, it's not the $150 ,000 price tag that I quoted in this video.
