Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Combining a proven topic with an underused visual style, then handing asset generation and animation to Claude Code through a pre-tuned skill, lets one person produce 2D animated Shorts cheaply.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You want to start a faceless Shorts channel and need a concrete way to pick a niche that is not oversaturated.
  • You already pay for Claude Code and want to see how a reusable skill can turn it into an animation pipeline.
  • You are curious how Claude Code, Higgsfield and Remotion fit together to produce animated video from PNG assets.
SKIP IF…
  • You want the channel name or proof beyond screen-recorded analytics, because the creator deliberately withholds it.
  • You want a free workflow, since it requires paid Claude Code and Higgsfield subscriptions.
  • You want long-form video production advice, because this covers 20 to 30 second Shorts only.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Danny Why claims a Shorts channel built with Claude Code reached about 3 million views per 48 hours and began earning within two to three weeks. His method is to pair a topic people already like with an uncommon style, here 2D animated random facts. Higgsfield, connected to Claude Code over MCP, generates the character assets. Three pasted prompts do the work: one researches ideas, one installs a skill he fine-tuned for a full day, and one turns the chosen idea into an animation coded in Remotion. Run it in bypass-permissions mode on Opus 5.5 at max effort, expecting 20 to 30 minutes per video.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • A niche that is easy to enter is usually oversaturated, so combine one channel's topic with another channel's style instead of copying either.
  • A proven topic told in a new visual style can outperform the original: the same volcano-trash question got 3.6M views as a 2D animation.
  • Shorts of 20 to 30 seconds cost fewer AI credits to produce than longer videos, which is the whole cost strategy.
  • The expensive part of an AI workflow is the repeated re-prompting, so packaging the tuned result as a skill lets others skip it.
  • Claude Code does not need prompts for every image: it writes the image prompts itself and sends them to Higgsfield.
  • Higgsfield supplies the assets (character poses and faces) while Claude Code codes the motion, so the output is animated PNGs rather than AI-generated video.
  • Animating in Remotion keeps the result editable, because the project opens in Remotion Studio for manual tweaks.
  • Long agentic runs should use bypass permissions so they do not stall waiting for an edit approval while you are away.
  • The first Claude Code attempt at animation will not look good, which is why a fine-tuned skill matters.
  • Adding a folder of sound effects, music and voiceover to the build prompt gives the finished animation audio too.
Takeaway

Mix a proven topic with an unusual style

WHAT TO LEARN

Pairing a topic people already watch with a style few use gives you a less crowded niche, and a tuned Claude Code skill makes producing it cheap.

  • Avoid oversaturated niches by taking a topic that already performs and presenting it in a style the platform has little of.
  • Check a style's ceiling by finding a smaller channel that retold a famous topic in a new format and seeing how many views it earned.
  • Short 20 to 30 second videos keep AI credit costs low, so budget drives format choice as much as audience does.
  • Spend the effort once on tuning a skill through repeated prompts and reference images, then reuse it so later videos work on the first run.
  • Let Claude Code write the image prompts and send them to Higgsfield instead of hand-prompting every asset.
  • Animate generated PNGs with code in Remotion so the result stays editable instead of depending on opaque AI video generation.
  • Switch Claude Code to bypass permissions for long runs so they finish without waiting on approvals while you are away.
Glossary

Read-along

Don't just watch it. Burn it in.

See every word as it's spoken — crank it to 2× and still catch all of it. The same dual-channel trick behind Amazon's Kindle + Audible.

I just used cloud code to help me create a new YouTube channel to see if I can go viral. But I didn't just go viral. I ended up getting monetized in just two weeks.
Let me actually show you the analytics of this channel. These are the analytics in the last 28 days. Let me switch to the last 365 days over here so you can see that I started posting literally just two weeks ago.
You can see over here, this is where I started posting. Over here, we can check watch time as well. subscribers and revenue i just started earning yesterday in the day before that let me go back to the last 28 days and you can see that in the first day it made 27 dollars and the second day it made 162 dollars so i'm assuming this channel might earn me four thousand to five thousand dollars if it keeps going like this over here the channel is getting three million views every 48 hours as you can see over here and yeah as you can see i blew up this channel literally just in two weeks, almost three weeks.
Now, I'm not going to reveal the channel yet because I want to see how far I can grow it. My plan is to try and grow it to 1 million subscribers and then make a video about it on how I grew this channel. But...
In this video, I am going to show you and teach you how you can make videos like this as well. Not only that, but I'm going to share the skill with you. Basically, the skill I use inside Cloud Code to help me create these videos.
This is a skill I've created myself. I've spent credits to build this skill and now I'm going to be sharing it with you so that you don't have to spend credits. So, if you want to learn how to edit videos like this, in this video, I'm going to be teaching you.
Let's begin. Before we start... First, you need to understand the system and why this works.
We're going to be creating shorts that are 20 to 30 seconds long because they're easier to make and use lower AI credits. That's also the point of this video, to show you how to create content like this without spending too much money. That's also why I'm going to be sharing with you the skill I created myself.
Because to create a skill like this, you are going to spend a bunch of credits to actually build it. So I'm just going to share it with you. Now, the most important part is the niche.
If you choose something that is oversaturated, it's going to be harder to grow or even impossible. So how do you find something different? Well, you look at different channels and see how you can combine their topics and styles.
So let me quickly teach you how I did it for this channel so you can learn how to create your own niche. For example, we have this video over here called Why Don't We Throw Trash Into A Volcano? It was posted a long time ago, but then I found this other channel which covered the same topic, but used 2D animations to basically tell the story.
Their video got 3 .6 million views, as you can see, which is insane. So you can see how taking a topic that people are already interested in and presenting it into a different style can work really well. That's what we're going to do here.
Something I personally haven't seen much of on shorts is 2D animations explaining random facts. Basically, take Zach D Films, for example. He gets billions of views and I've seen a lot of creators copying his style, basically recreating 3D animations.
But I haven't seen people recreate this style in 2D animations. So that's what we're going to be doing here. We're going to take a similar approach to explaining interesting facts, but create our own videos using 2D animations.
And I'm also going to share the prompts so you can create the same animations yourself. Now, for this to work, you need two things. A subscription to ClockCode and a subscription to HiggsField.
That's all you need. And I promise it's not going to be as expensive as you think. With that said, Let's begin the tutorial.
Let me show you how to create these animations. So I'm going to assume that you already have cloud code on your computer. The next step is to connect Higgs field to cloud code.
For that, there's going to be a link down in the description. If you click on that link, it's going to send you to the Higgs field dashboard over here. Once you are on the Higgs field dashboard, on the top left over here where it says MCP, click on MCP.
Then over here where it says cloud, click on cloud. then just click over here where it says connect Hixfield. Once you click on this button, it's going to ask you to connect Hixfield to your cloud account.
But I already have it connected, so I'm not going to continue. You just click continue, continue, authorized. And that's it.
You're going to have Higgs field connected to your cloud account. That's all you have to do. After that, we can go ahead and start creating the animations.
So for that, just open cloud code on your computer like this. And you should have a completely new chat in cloud code. Make sure you're on the cloud code section.
So over here at the top left, you can see we have the chat and we have the code. make sure you're on the code session now as i've said in the beginning to make this tutorial as easy as possible to follow i prepared a google document with all the prompts i'm going to be using inside this video so go to this document there's going to be a link down description if you click on that link it should send you to this document over here and as you can see we have step number one for step number one what you want to do is copy this message over here this prompt right click and copy then go back to clock code and paste this prompt over here in a new chat and just send this prompt now make sure you are on opus 5 .5 or the newer model that is better at the current time and for the effort level make sure you set max over here and just send this prompt to cloud but one more thing i forgot to mention over here where it says bypass permissions if you have it set as auto or manual or accept edits
make sure you select bypass permissions because this can take 10 to 20 minutes and sometimes it's going to ask you to accept edits and if you want to leave your computer, if you want to go make yourself a sandwich or if you want to go work out, select bypass permissions so Cloud can just do everything for you. Then just go ahead and send the prompt like I did over here.
Now what this prompt does, this is basically a general prompt that will help you research ideas for your animations. So you can always use this prompt. You don't need to change it.
You don't need to add anything to it. You'd always start with this. prompt because this prompt, as I've said, is going to research ideas for you.
Now, while Cloud Code is thinking and researching ideas, I want you to go back to the document over here, scroll down, and here we have step number two, which is basically the skill. As you can see, if we scroll down, this is a huge text with codes, with instructions. Basically, what this is, this is the skill I already created.
What does that mean? Well, let me explain. when you create an animation inside cloud code for the first time it's not going to look good you have to prompt it again and prompt it again and send reference photos and prompt it again and i basically spent an entire day re -prompting and fine -tuning my cloud account to basically create really good animations and then i can turn that into a skill this over here is exactly that it's the skill I basically had to spend my credits to teach my cloud account how to create the perfect animations.
So what I'm doing over here with step number two is basically sharing this skill with you so that you don't have to prompt and fine tune your cloud account yourself. You don't have to spend money and you don't have to spend credits. So as I said, go back to my Google document, go to step number two over here, copy this entire skill until it says step number three.
We will stop at step number three. So as you can see, I'm copying this entire thing. Over here is step number three, as you can see.
So I'm going to stop over here. I'm going to copy this text and then I'm going to go back to Cloud Code and I'm going to paste this skill and I'm going to send this message. So now we've sent two messages to Cloud Code.
The first one is researching the idea. The second one is teaching Cloud Code how to create really good 2D animations. And now all you have to do is wait for Cloud Code to process all of this information.
to research ideas and to understand how the skill works that's it and if you want to learn a little bit more about this skill and how it works basically here's how it works hicks field makes the assets the character in every pose every face he makes and all these assets are created and prompted by clot code Cloud Code is going to use Hix Field to generate all these assets so we don't have to write prompts ourselves for each image and each asset.
Cloud Code is going to do that for us. And then Cloud Code is going to code the animations, the motion graphics, and it's going to use these assets created with Hix Field as footage. That's how it works and that's what this skill does.
But because I fine -tune it so much... it does it really well. Now, once Cloud Code is done finding an idea, all you want to do is go back to my document over here to step number three, copy the prompt from step number three, right -click, copy, and paste the prompt.
This prompt will turn the idea into a 2D animation. Now, an extra thing you can do is you can actually add sound effects. So you can add a folder with sound effects in the message with music and the voiceover.
And if you do that, your animation will also have music, sound effects, and the voiceover. So you just send the prompt, and this usually takes around 20 to 30 minutes to create.
So you can go ahead, make a sandwich for yourself or whatever. Now, I already created this animation before, so I can show it to you because I didn't want to wait 20 to 30 minutes. So let me actually show you how the animation looks like.
First of all, Cloud Code will create the assets using Higgs field. As you can see over here, these are assets for our animation.
They come with backgrounds, but Cloud Code is going to remove the backgrounds using the Higgs field background removal tool. And then once it's done generating the assets, it's going to create a mood board like this, which will show you how the animation will look. And then it's basically going to go ahead and create the animation.
And you will also have the animation inside Remotion, which means you can make edits to it. So over here, if I click open, we will open the Remotion Studio. And over here, we have our animation.
If I hit play, let me see if i have my sound connected yep now before i show you the video the final result i just want to say that i have a private community there's going to be a link down in the description or you can join it inside my private community i teach those things i teach how to edit videos using ai i have a step -by -step course on how to grow on youtube and how to create a system for your channel so that making videos is easier not only that but you can talk with me inside the community and other creators so if you want to grow on youtube and make this process of growing a YouTube channel and monetizing it easier, I suggest you try out my community.
There's going to be a link down in the description if you want to try it out. Now, let's go ahead and see the final result. Let's see how this animation created with Cloud Code looks like.
Can we throw our trash into a volcano? So, he tried it. But anything wet inside turns into steam and the lava comes flying back out.
The volcano basically... you might see a little bit of glitches. That's because we're watching the animation inside Remotion.
If I exit this Remotion window and actually play the animation from my computer over here, it should look like this. Can we throw our trash into a volcano? So, he tried it.
But anything wet inside turns into steam and the lava comes flying back out. The volcano basically said, no thanks. Come on, this is absolutely insane because this is not a...
Video generated using AI. This is code animating our PNG photos created with Higgs field. And it gives that animation look, which many channels on YouTube have.
Channels that were created 10 years ago or 20 years ago, right? I mean, just look at this. So he tried it.
This looks really... Anything wet inside turns into steam and the lava comes... And the reason why it's so smooth is because you used the skill I shared with you.
Usually from the first try, it's not going to look like this. Now, if you want to learn more, as I said, I strongly suggest you check out my community. There's going to be a link down in the description.
Inside, I have courses and many more things. I'll see you inside my community.
