Professional motion graphics are one of the reasons why my channel you're watching right now went from getting this many views to getting this many views.
That's because visuals are extremely important on YouTube. The right visuals can hold your viewers attention and keep them watching for much longer. Not only that, but clients pay you more as a video editor if you can create professional motion graphics.
But, creating visuals like these ones over here is usually time consuming and difficult to learn especially when you're using complex programs like After Effects or DaVinci Resolve. But what if you could create professional looking motion graphics in a simple video editing program such as CapCut? Well, with the help of ClotCode, we can absolutely do this.
In this video, I'll show you how to combine CapCut with ClotCode to create professional three d motion graphics much faster and easier than you might expect. I'm going to take everything I have learned about CapCut in the past three years and teach it to you in less than thirty minutes. If you wanna become a better video editor and if you wanna become a better youtuber,
this video is for you. Let's begin. Alright.
I'm not gonna show my webcam because I want you to be able to focus on what I'm doing. The first thing we wanna do is create a background for our video.
For that, I want you to go over here where it says stickers and click on stickers. After you click on stickers, if stickers over here are opened, I want you to close them by clicking over here. Then click on shapes, and over here we can add shapes to our video.
The shape we wanna add is a square. To add a square, all you have to do is click on this plus, and as you can see over here down below in the timeline, we now have the square on our timeline.
The square is this gray square which we have on the screen and we can move around, and we can also play around with the size of it. Now, the first thing I want you to do is go over here on the timeline and let's increase the time of the square. As you can see, the square is going to stay for just three seconds.
As you can see over here, three seconds. One second, two second, three seconds. Let's increase the time of it up to ten seconds over here.
As you can see, ten seconds. So now if I hit play, our square will stay on the screen for ten seconds. Now, let's increase the size of the square to fit our screen.
So I'm just gonna drag it and make it bigger than the screen. So now our entire screen is this gray color. Now, let's change the color of this square to actually transform it into a background.
Over here to the right, if you click on color, you will see that we have solid gradient and texture. What I want you to do is click on gradient.
Over here, we can create a gradient background. Let me show you how to do that. First of all, choose your first color over here.
As you can see, we have these three boxes and what these three boxes means is that if you have this first box selected and then I choose a color, you'll see that this is going to be the color for this side. So I'm going to use some dark brown.
As you can see, I'm gonna select some sort of dark brown over here. And then I'm gonna click on the middle box and also select some sort of dark brown, but this time make it just a little bit lighter. And then over here at the last box, I'm also going to choose a dark brown, but I'm going to make it even lighter.
And then over here where it says the angle, we can play around with the angle to change the way our gradient looks as you can see over here. And then if we click anywhere on the screen, we can remove the color palette, and as you can see, we now have a gradient background. Now, let's create our first motion graphic.
Over here on shapes, I'm gonna add another square. So I'm gonna click on this plus, and as you can see on the timeline, I've added another square. What I wanna do is I wanna position it almost at the beginning of the video.
So as you can see, the background exists, and then the square appears like half a second after the background appears.
So if I hit play, the square appears half a second later. Then I'm gonna increase the time of it to somewhere like eight seconds.
Now, let's change the shape of it. Let's make it look like a card. For that, I'm gonna drag it over here below and I'm gonna make it look like a card just like this.
And as you can see, it looks like a card. Now, let's change the color of this square as well. For that, again, click over here on the color, select gradient, and again I'm gonna try to make it dark brown but make it a little bit different than the background so you can actually look at it.
I'm then gonna click on this middle cube over here. I'm gonna select again some dark brown over here, and then I'm gonna click on this last cube over here and also add some sort of dark brown as you can see.
We can see we have this square which is going to be our card. Now, something I would like to do is create round corners because round corners feel more premium and nicer.
So what I want you to do is click on this card, the square, scroll down over here on the left and where it says corner radius, click on this to activate it and then over here increase it to 10.
And now you will see that our square has round corners which makes it look a little bit nicer and more premium. Now what I would like to do is create a beautiful glow highlight effect around the square. For that what I want you to do is click on our card, our square, then click right click and then select copy.
And then on the timeline I want you to right click and select paste. And we've duplicated this square.
Now, want you to position it to be at the exact same position with these other squares so we have them on top of each other. Now, I want you to click on the bottom square over here and then at the top right where it says scale, I want you to increase the scale by just 2% extra.
So as you can see, it's 100% right now. I just want you to type over here 2% or 3%.
So it's a 102 or a 103%. And as you can see, the bottom square is a little bit bigger now. Now, want you to go to the bottom square over here, and let's change the color of it to be a little bit more bright.
So over here where it says fill, if you click on this to show, this is where we can change the color. So what I'm gonna be doing is I'm gonna change the colors to be just a little bit lighter. As you can see, they're gonna be just a little bit lighter.
And now if we click away to remove the gradient palette, we will see that our square, our card has this beautiful highlight around it.
But let's make it glow. For that, I want you to click over here where it says effects on the top left. And over here, I want you to search for glow and type enter.
And it's going to be this effect over here called glow to. What I want you to do is click on this plus to add it. So I'm gonna click on this plus and it's going to add it to my timeline.
Then I want you to take the glow from the timeline and drag it below and on top of this square, this card. So because we want to add the glow only to this square over here.
Then what I'm gonna be doing is I'm gonna increase the timing of it to match with the square below, so until here, and then I'm gonna play with the glow intensity and size over here on the right.
So as you can see, we can change this knob to make it more intense and bigger. And if it doesn't glow enough, you can simply just copy it and paste it again on the timeline and add it over here so we can make it more intense.
Now, because we only wanted the glow to be added to this highlight, we need to compound the glow effects with the square over here. For that, what I want you to do is select both glow effects and the square just like me, right click on any of them, and then select create compound.
Basically, now we've connected all those things together and as you can see the glow effect only applies to the square because we've transformed the glow effects and the square into one single video over here. If I double click on it you will see that this video, this compound clip has the glow effects and the square. If we exit it, it's a clip on our main timeline.
That's how compounding works. Now, the next thing I would like to do to make this look more premium is to make the shape move around the card. For that, what I want you to do is move this timeline pin at the beginning of the clip, then over here to the top left where it says mask, click on mask, and then click add a mask.
What a mask does is basically cut the image where you tell it to cut it. As you can see, basically, we're cutting the image over here or over here. So it basically cuts the image and we can only see what's inside the mask as you can see.
And because we're masking this clip, which is the highlight of the card, you can see that if I move my mask around, you can look at this highlighted line over here. We're only seeing the line inside the mask.
Right? We're not seeing the line over here because if I increase the size of the mask, we can start to see more of the line. That's how masking works.
So over here to the masks, what I want you to do is select this one over here to the left, which is called split. Select this one, and as you can see, this mask basically splits the screen into two. We can see this side of the screen, but we can't see this side of the screen.
And because, as I've said, we have the clip with the highlight selected, it's going to apply only to this effect, to this highlight. So now what I want you to do is over here to the left where it says feather, I want you to increase the feather to maybe 35 or maybe 40.
And as you can see feather basically smooths out the edge. It doesn't just randomly end, it has this beautiful smooth fade effect. Now, in order to create an animation, what I want you to do is make sure your timeline pin is at the beginning over here of the clip, then over here to the right where it says mask settings, I want you to click on this diamond icon over here to add a keyframe.
Now, after you added a keyframe, what I want you to do is drag your timeline pin over here all the way to the end of the card. And then what I want you to do is go over here on the screen and where you have these rotating arrows, I want you to rotate this two times just like me.
As you can see, I'm rotating it two times. And now if I hit play, if I move my timeline pen to the beginning, as you can see, we've created this motion where the mask is rotating and because the mask is rotating, it creates this illusion that this highlight is actually moving around the car.
So if I hit play, it's gonna look like this. Right? It has this beautiful illusion that this glow is moving around the car, which makes it look really premium.
Now here's where clock code is going to help us create amazing beautiful motion graphics. What I want you to do is go ahead and open clock code and inside ClockCode, I want you to paste this following prompt. So I'm gonna be using this prompt over here.
I'm gonna show the prompt on the screen. You can pause, and if you send this prompt to Claude, Claude is going to create a beautiful three d animation of a key rotating. You can basically use this prompt to create whatever three d asset you want.
Now once Claude code is done generating this three d asset, it's going to look like this. If I hit play, as you can see, we have this three d key generated. What I want you to do is click on these three dots and select download to download it to your computer.
After you download this to your computer, I want you to go ahead over here where it says media, click on media and over here where it says import, I want you to drag and drop the three d asset just like me as you can see. I'm gonna drag and drop it over here.
And if you if I hit play, as you can see, we have this key which we've created using cloth code. Now, what I want you to do is take this footage and drag it on your timeline above everything else just like me. But make sure you add it right exactly where the card starts.
And then also make sure you cut it where the card over here ends. So I'm gonna take my timeline pin, I'm gonna click on the key, on the three d key, and over here to the left where we have this split, I'm gonna click on it and as you can see it split the clip in half. So we have this clip and now we have this clip.
And now I want you to basically just delete this clip. So I'm gonna right click and I'm gonna select delete. So now our three d key clip is going to play only where the card is, but we have to first remove the green background.
There's a reason why the background is completely green. Because if the background has only one color, we can use chroma key to remove that one single color. And let me show you how to do it.
If you click on this clip with a three d key, and then you go over here where it says remove background, you click over here on remove background, and then you select chroma key, and then you select the color you want to remove. So I'm gonna hover my mouse to the color I want to remove, and it's going to be the green color.
As you can see, as soon as I go over the green color, it's going to completely remove the green. If I hover my mouse on the key, it's going to remove the golden color. As you can see, it's going to try to remove the gold color.
So we only want to remove the green color. So click on the green color, and now we've just removed the green color from this video. But if we zoom in, we will see that the key still has some green around it.
For that, what I want you to do is over here to the left, increase the feather edge maybe by 13 and then increase the cleanup edge maybe by let's say 25.
And now if we zoom out, we will see that our key doesn't have green around it anymore. Now what I want you to do is click over here where it says basic and decrease the scale of it to fit inside our card. Something like this.
Now this already looks amazing. There's still things we can do. What I would like to do is change the color of this key to be a little bit more brown so it fits with the entire aesthetic of our video.
So I'm gonna click on this clip, then I'm gonna go over here where it says adjust to the top right. And over here to the adjust, I can play with the saturation.
I can make it more golden. I can play with the contrast, so I make it fit a little bit more more. And then I can play with the color wheel over here.
If I click on the color wheel, I can play with the colors. So I can increase the shadow of it to be a little bit more brown. I can increase the middle tone to be a little bit more brown.
I can increase the highlight to be a little bit more brown. And I increase the offset to be a little bit more brown.
Now, if we look at the key over here, we'll see that it fits much nicer with our entire color scheme. Now, let's go ahead and add a glow effect to this key. For that, what I want you to do is go over here to the top left where it says effects, click on effects, and over here I want you to add again glow two.
So you click on the plus on the glow two effect and it's going to be added on the timeline. Then I want you to drag this effect at the beginning of the key and then at the end of the key, so it stays throughout the entire clip. If I hit play, it's going to look like this.
That's because the glow is being added everywhere. We only wanna add it to the key. For that, we need to compound these two layers.
But before, let's play a little bit with the glow because we don't want the glow to be so intense. Let's decrease the size. Let's decrease the glow a little bit, and now let's compound the glow effect with the key effect so that the glow effect is being added only to the key.
For that, I'm just gonna select the glow and the key layers, right click on any of them, and select create compound. As you can see, the glow effect is being added only to the key.
If I hit play, it's going to look like this, which in my opinion looks amazing.
But now, in order to make this look even better, we need to add motion to it. But to add motion to it, we need to connect all these layers together so we can move them. For that, what I want you to do is, again, on the timeline, select all these layers excluding the background, right click and create a compound.
And now, basically, we have a single video with the key, with the card, and with the highlight. If I move it around, you will see that I can place it basically anywhere I want. Right?
Which gives us the opportunity to add motion to it. So let's say we wanna make it appear from the left.
What I'm gonna be doing is I'm gonna decrease the size of it just by a little bit over here and bring it up over here. And then I'm gonna take my timeline pen at the beginning of the clip. I'm gonna take the image out of the screen and over here to the right, if I click on video and then where it says transform, I click on this diamond to add a keyframe right at the beginning of this clip and then I drag my timeline pin maybe one or two seconds over here.
And then on the screen, I take my clip and I add it at the middle of the screen, I've basically told CapCut that starting from this keyframe at the beginning until this keyframe I wanna move the clip from the outside of the screen to inside of the screen. But to add smoothness, what you wanna do is click on this keyframe on the clip over here as you can see, right click on it, select show all presets, and select cubic ease.
Now, our movement has a specific smoothness to it.
If I hit play and you see and you look on the screen, it's gonna look like this. Do you see it has a specific movement to it? And we can make it slower if we change the position of the keyframe.
So on the clip, if I move this keyframe and if I click on it and if I move it a little bit more further, it's going to be it'll take a little bit more time now for it to enter. Now, let's go ahead and add a text here below.
For that, what I want you to do is go over here to the top left where it says text, click on text and just click over here where says default text on the plus to add a text on your timeline. Then drag this text somewhere between the beginning of this clip. So first of all, we want this clip, this card to appear and then once it reaches the middle of the screen, we want the text to appear.
So we can put the text, we can position the text to appear somewhere over here so that the text appears right away after the card is being introduced. Then over here we can move the text below the card over here, make it smaller, and let's say we place it over here.
Now over here on the right, we can change the font of the text. So for this one, I'm gonna choose something more classic. Let's say I'm gonna use this one over here.
It's called luciti I think. I don't know how to pronounce that.
And then over here I can increase the boldness of the text and I can also make it a little bit more premium by selecting this over here. As you can see, the text is gonna look like this now. Now we can write wherever we want over here where it says default text to to the right.
So I'm gonna delete this and I'm gonna write the key to success. Now what I wanna do is I wanna change the color of the key text to make it look nicer.
So I'm gonna select the key text over here. So I'm gonna hold my mouse and just select the key as you can see. I'm only selecting the key text.
And over here where it says color, I'm gonna change the color of it to something more gold and orange a little bit. And now as you can see on the screen, we have this text. We can increase the size of it so it ends at the same time with the key.
Now let's go ahead and add some animation to the text. For that, I want you to actually click on the text and on the top right over here where it says animation, click on animation and you can choose any animation you want. For this one, I'm gonna choose one of my favorite ones which is this one over here.
So if I click on it, it's going to look like this. Right? But the problem is it's too fast and when things are too fast they look cheap.
One of the secret magic tricks to motion graphic is to always make them slow. So for that, just decrease over here the duration of it.
So once you have the animation selected, increase the duration to maybe one point five seconds and it's going to look like this. So if I hit play, it's way more smooth now.
Looks nicer. Let's go ahead and also add a glow to it. So for that I'm gonna click over here on the top left where it says effects and then again I'm gonna add a glow.
Click on the plus and it's going to add the glow on my timeline. I'm gonna drag the glow at the beginning of the text and at the end of the text so that the glow is being applied throughout the entire time the text is being shown on the screen.
Now over here on the glow I'm gonna change how powerful the glow is. I'm gonna change the radius of it. And once I find something I like, I'm just going to compound these two layers.
So on the timeline, I'm gonna select the glow. I'm gonna select the text. Right click on any of them and create compound.
And now the glow is being added only to the text. If I hit play, it looks like this. We can move this around a little bit, and let's see how it looks.
In my opinion, that looks absolutely amazing considering that we've created this inside CapCut. We can go ahead and even add more things to make it look nicer. So for example, if we go over here to the top left where it says stickers and we actually click on stickers and maybe we search for stars, for example, maybe we can find some animated stars.
You can also go ahead and create these stars with cloud code, but for the purpose of this tutorial, I wanna show that you can also find things over here. So let's say these stars over here are moving. They're kinda crappy, but we can make them look nice.
So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna select the stars over here. I'm gonna click on the plus, and I'm gonna add them on the timeline. And I want them to appear right after the text appears.
So I'm gonna put these stars over here, I'm gonna increase the length of them to end with the text, right click on the stars and we're gonna copy and then I'm gonna paste them again on the screen because I want two of them. And I'm gonna make sure the second stars are going to appear after the first stars. And on the second stars, I'm also going to decrease the length of them.
I'm gonna take the first stars over here and add them maybe over here somewhere And then to create an animation for them, if you have the stars selected on the timeline, if you go to the top right, you can select animation and you can select any type of animation you want.
So as you can see, we have tons of animations, but you want to select something that looks beautiful. And for that, I recommend using dissolve.
So if I click on dissolve, you will see it looks like that and you can just increase the time of it into two seconds. Then I'm gonna do the exact same thing to the second set of stars.
So I'm gonna click on them, I'm gonna change the position of them to maybe have them over here somewhere.
I'm gonna rotate them so they look a little bit different than the other ones. And then I'm gonna add the dissolve animation over here and increase it to two seconds. Now, if we hit play, they look like this.
Now, let's go ahead and also add glow effect to these stars so they look nicer. So, again, over here at the top left, I'm gonna click on effects, add a glow on my timeline, and make the glow start with the first star over here and it with all the stars.
I'm gonna select the glow effect and these two stars effects. Right click, create a compound, and then our stars also have glow.
If I hit play, our video is going to look like this. Just created a background. We have this beautiful card with this three d graphic of a key, the stars, and the text that says the key to success.

Now what we can do is we can use AI to continue this animation into something really cool. First, let's make sure that all of our clips end at the same time.
So over here, as you can see, the card is not ending at the same time. So let's take our card and make sure it ends with the text and the stars.
Now what I want you to do is make sure your timeline pin is at the end of all the clips over here. As you can see, it's at the end of all the what I want you to do is go over here where you have these three lines, click on them, and then select export still frames.
Make sure you select PNG. Make sure you select eight k, and then just select export. This is going to export the last frame of your video, which is this one over here because we hovered our timeline pin over here.
It's this one over here. We literally have the photo of the last frame. And what we want to do with this photo is to use AI to transform it into another motion graphic with more three d stuff.
And let me show you how to do that. For this, I'm gonna be using Higgs field because in my opinion Higgs field is the best tool to create something like this. So in my description, there's going to be a link to Higgs field.
If you click on that link, it's going to send you to the Higgs field website. Now, this is the dashboard of Higgs field and as you can see with Higgs field, you can create a lot of things. You can create motion graphics, you can create realistic videos, avatars.
There's so many things you can create with Higgs field is ridiculous. Now, what we wanna do is over here where it says video on the top left, hover your mouse over here on video and select c dance 2.5. Now, over here, what you wanna do is add a reference.
And for that, you wanna add this last photo, this last frame we've rendered in Capcom. So just click on this and add your photo. Now, after you add your photo, it should appear over here as the reference photo.
And what you wanna do inside the prompt is tell Higgs field how the animation should look. For that, I'm gonna be using the following prompt and I'm gonna show it on the screen as well if you wanna copy it. So it's gonna be this prompt, which is saying that starting from the photo I attached, which is this one, I want a smooth animated transition where a golden key and all the text, they break apart and then the camera zooms in into a scene with people.
That's what this prompt does. Now, over here where it says audio, I usually like to remove the audio. I don't like the audio AI generates.
I think it's sloppy, so I always remove the audio. Now, over here on the model, make sure it's c dense 2.5. Then over here for the duration, I'm gonna choose fifteen seconds, but you can choose five seconds, ten seconds, it really depends on how long you want your video to last.
Then over here for the aspect ratio, make sure you select 16 by nine and at the resolution, you can select seven twenty or ten eighty p. I'm gonna select ten eighty p for this one.
And then all you have to do is click generate to generate your footage. And as you can see, the footage is being generated. This usually takes from three minutes to five minutes.
Now once Higgs field is done generating the footage, it should appear over here, and we can hit play to look at it. So let's take a look at it. As you can see, we have the key, and it breaks apart.
Everything it's scattered all over the place. The card breaks and then is going to zoom in on people working at their desk, which is exactly what I've asked for.
Now, if you don't like how this looks, you can go ahead and generate something else. On Higgs field, if you go over here to the top left and you click on video, you have all the models over here.
As you can see, you have Gemini, Clink, Flux.
There's a lot of things you can do. You have Google video, Sora. So if you don't like how C Dance 2.5 looks like, you can try something else.
But let's say you like this video you've created. What I want you to do from here is go ahead and download it to your computer. So you just click on this icon over here and you wanna add it after your graphics.
So I'm gonna take the clip and I'm gonna add it over here. Increase the size of it just a little bit until it actually fits with your graphics. Now what I want you to do is cut this video exactly where the key is going to break.
So for example, the key is going to break over here. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna cut this clip over here like this and I'm gonna add it again over here. Go to the top left where it says transitions and search for this transition over here called glare two.
Add this transition between your clip and the Higgs field clip. Now when we hit play, we're going to have a glare transition between our motion graphic and then the video we've generated with Higgs field, which is going to look like this.
And just like this, we've used CapCut, ClockCode, and Higgs field to create a beautiful intro to our video. I'm gonna go ahead and add sound effects and show you the final result with sound effects.
After adding all the sound effects, this is how they look on the timeline over here. And I would like to play the sound effects only so you get an idea of how they sound, then I wanna play the music, then I wanna play the voice over so you get an idea of how important sound effects are. So let me play just the sound effects first.
