Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Claude produces generic AI slop from a single prompt, but a structured skill plus real media plus Claude as editor turns it into a repeatable video studio.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • A solo creator or founder who wants animated promos, explainers or short-form videos without learning After Effects or Premiere Pro.
  • You already use Claude and keep getting motion graphics that look generic, and you want a repeatable process instead of lucky prompts.
  • You record talking-head video and want Claude to handle captions, music, sound effects and zoom-ins in one pass.
SKIP IF…
  • You want a deep technical walkthrough of the skill's code. The video demos results and the workflow, not the internals.
  • You need a fully free path. The media step relies on a Higgsfield account and the video ends with a pitch for a paid course.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Single-prompt Claude motion graphics look generic, so the video builds a three-level system. Level one is a free skill that walks you through picking a style, gathering real references, writing a numbered brief, choosing whether to loop, and checking finished frames. Level two overlays real photos and video, generated through the Higgsfield connector, on top of the graphics after you approve a storyboard. Level three brings Claude in as the editor: record once in one take, let Claude add captions, audio cleanup, sound effects and zooms, then save the result as a reusable skill.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • Give Claude the same prompt everyone else uses and you get the same output as everyone else, which is why most AI motion graphics look alike.
  • A skill works like a recipe for a chef: Claude has the ability, but without the recipe the ingredients don't become anything special.
  • Overlaying real photos or footage on an HTML motion graphic is what moves it from generic to bespoke.
  • A loop means the first and last frame match, so a background animation can run forever without a visible seam.
  • Checking rendered frames instead of reading code is the final step that catches broken animations before you ship.
  • A single photo pulled from a YouTube channel can be turned into a video of the same person, outfit and chain included, through Higgsfield.
  • Approving a storyboard before building stops Claude from blending code and generated clips in a direction you didn't want.
  • You don't need to know editing software when Claude is the pilot: you describe the destination and the right skills do the flying.
  • The simple editing workflow is record once in one take, let Claude edit, review the output, then turn the process into a skill.
  • Claude can drive tools like Premiere Pro or CapCut, so learning After Effects is no longer a prerequisite for motion video.
Takeaway

Systems beat prompts for Claude video

WHAT TO LEARN

Generic prompts give generic motion graphics, and the quality jump comes from a structured skill, real media mixed in, and Claude handling the edit.

  • A one-shot prompt returns what everyone else gets, so encode style, references, brief, looping and frame checks into a reusable skill instead.
  • Collect real design references from sites like Savee, Pinterest or X before prompting, because good references steer Claude better than adjectives do.
  • Check the rendered frames rather than the code, so broken or ugly animation is caught before you ship it.
  • Overlay real photos and footage on motion graphics to move a design from generic AI look to bespoke, and keep a graphic-only toggle for comparison.
  • Approve a storyboard before the build so code-generated graphics and generated clips blend the way you intended.
  • Record once in a single take, let Claude add captions, audio cleanup and effects, then save the process as a skill so every later video repeats it.
Glossary

Terms worth knowing.

Claude Motion
Using Claude to design animated graphics and videos from plain English descriptions, rendered as code-driven animation rather than traditional editing software.
Skill
A saved set of instructions Claude follows for a specific task, so the same quality process repeats every time instead of depending on a fresh prompt.
Loop
An animation whose last frame matches its first frame, so it can repeat continuously without a visible jump.
Higgsfield
An image and video generation platform that connects to Claude as a connector, letting Claude generate images and clips from inside a conversation.
Storyboard approval
A checkpoint where Claude lays out the planned sequence of code graphics and generated clips for you to approve before it builds the video.

Everything that you see on screen right now was built with Claude Motion 2 .0. Those are hundreds of designer -grade animations with zero editing. Claude Motion lets you describe anything in simple English and get beautiful designs back.
Claude even lets you edit those videos in seconds, but 99 % of people end up with AI slop because they don't use the correct system. And in this video, I'll show you exactly how to build beautiful motion videos. Mix them with your own images and videos so it looks like an expensive design studio made them.
And turn these into a system so you can get viral content on autopilot, even if you're a complete beginner. And if you're new, I'm Jack. I built and sold my last tech startup with a gazillion customers.
Now I'm building my own AI startup. And here I share the stuff that actually works. So if you haven't already, grab that beautiful coffee and let's dive straight in.
Now with Claude Video 2 .0, everything you see in this has been designed and created by Claude with no editing whatsoever. And to get the most out of it, you just have to understand three things and make sure you stick to the end so you get the full picture otherwise you're not going to get the full amount of value out of it and be able to build them now the first thing we need to do is actually make it beautiful with motion graphics now everything you can see on screen here once again was drawn by claude paper world, a city that grows, this beautiful Swiss kinetic typing.
As you can imagine, there are just so many different applications for this. It could be in Packdex. It could be explaining your product on your website.
It could integrate in a gazillion different kinds of ways. I particularly even like this one here. There's one widget, every sky.
And I've got everything here unique for this. So for example, you could have this in your apps. It could be at the top of your website.
The possibilities are literally endless. But believe it or not, this is just the very beginning of what you can actually accomplish. with Claude Motion and you don't need to be on a team's plan to use the stuff that I'm going to show you inside this video.
Now, here's the thing. Most people think that to build graphics like this, you just kind of have to prompt them. But the truth is that if you give it the same prompt, you're just going to get the same output as everybody else.
And that's not the way to really get designer grade motion graphics out of Claude. And as an example of that, you can see this is what Claude gives you on one shot. It's fairly decent, no kind of prompts and no kind of system.
But once you give it a little bit of extra edge, you can see that it just becomes a little bit more dynamic. It's a little bit more visually interesting.
It has depth. The field has interactivity. Another example here is this is something just of one shot.
You know, the words are pairing off. Everything's in this kind of burnt orange state. It looks okay, but it isn't great.
When you apply the correct skill, you can get designs that look way more artistic, that are way more engaging, and actually brings people onto a bit more of a journey. Another example of this is just a simple one prompt. As you can see, buildings kind of slowly appearing.
Again, it's not bad but when you give it the correct system you can see that you can build out anything and it is a completely different environment now if you're using claude without the correct system it's kind of like having a chef who's really bad but is surrounded by world -class ingredients they have the capability to make something incredible but if they don't have the right skills recipe they're never going to be able to do them which is why there's only five things we have to do in step one and the great news is i put all this down below for a skill that you can grab so you can replicate this entire system now step one is to simply pick a style that we like and i'll put some of these down below for you in a free school so you can come over and grab them and pick any designs that you think are pretty cool.
So let's say you like the look of this one here or maybe you like this explainer. amazing. What we can do is that you come down and copy that prompt.
I'll put a link down below for this skill so you can copy and follow along very easily. All you can do is simply copy the URL from the top, come straight up to Claude and say, hey there, I would like you to follow this skill, please. All right.
And once you've done that, once you use Glider to dictate it, it can then go ahead and build up for us. Next thing that we're going to do actually is use real references so we can find any design that we think looks great. One of the best ways to create a fantastic and gorgeous design is to use beautiful references.
So on a website like for example, I can just come down here and I can say something like toggle to find any inspiration for any kind of designs that I think look really cool. And I can just grab any one of these that I like.
So let's say, for example, I like the look of this one here. I can come down and I can literally just copy the video address or download it. Pinterest is also a great place, or you could use X for inspiration as well.
Once you've gotten references, the third thing this girl's going to get you to do is essentially write the brief in numbers. So effectively, it will guide you through anything that you want to land or any information that you want to communicate in that. sure then number four it'll do is you can decide whether or not you want it to loop a loop just means that the last and first frame are exactly the same so we can run the background just like the animations inside this presentation and then finally once it's done that it's going to check the frames not code basically it's going to make sure that everything connects together in a beautiful way and when that's done you can get beautiful graphics that look just like this that have beautiful zoom animations i've built all this sort of stuff i've spent days troubleshooting and trial and erroring this so effectively you can use and build things like this very easily without having to go through all the hard work because all the knowledge is built into that prompt.
And as you download the skill, it's going to ask you five questions. What is it for and how long? What should it say?
Does it loop? Your brand? And the fifth question, which we're going to cover in the next section.
And by the way, you're going to make sure you stick to the end of the video because it really comes together as a system and that will get you light years ahead. Now, it does lead us on to... probably the biggest issue with this.
Now, the problem is that we can pick the style that we like before we prompt, but if you really want something to be world -class, you need to integrate it with real media. And this isn't just something that's important because level two itself is about how you make it real. How do you create the difference between something that looks AI generated and something that looks genuinely world -class?
Well, to do that, what we're actually going to do is use actual real life media with the footage. For example, if you check out any of the big brands that exist, you can see that they They actually use a combination of HTML editing graphics, but they also combine it with real life images.
And this is best shown by example. So if you look at this video here on the left hand side, it looks cool, but it's kind of something generic that you'd see. But if I add media to it.
Look at the difference of what this actually makes. So all this is of me, guys, is I just added in a photo of me. And as you can see, now it's got this beautiful graphic.
It's added me in there. And it's gone from being something generic to something that looks completely bespoke and massively high quality for me. Likewise here, if I show you what does it look like with the graphic, cool.
It's interesting and fairly engaging as a graphic using our system. But if we add some media into it, you can see the difference can be pretty significant because I'm at the top, I'm having a conversation. And then likewise down here, if I just have a graphic.
I have some interesting points moving around. Again, it's built something interesting as a motion graphic. It looks decent.
But if I can have media, look at how it blends, for example, just some beautiful clawed motion graphics with an actual video. And just like that, it then turns it into a video and is integrated into the entire process. Now, most people think that AI video looks like slop or that you don't actually need realistic images or videos to make this work.
But the reality is that a lot of them, if you don't use it, can look really generic. And especially because the internet is... flooded with this stuff now you need a unique edge to completely stand apart and having built and sold startups and use a lot of this i can tell you makes a difference because if you think about cooking something fantastic in the kitchen if you're a chef you need real life ingredients now what's a good example of this let's take this one that we used before right where we had this rain animation well let me show you what that looks like if we overlay that with some image and video so this here is the regular one which is fine but if i can show some media look at the kind of difference this makes where actually we can bring something that's realistic into the video and it completely changes the entire look and feel of the entire asset.
And you can switch between graphic and media. at any point that you want to. Let's look at this cut paper world here.
Beautiful image, but if we overlay this with media, look at how it can elevate it to a completely new level. Here we have the graphics coming down, the boat, but when we actually have media, that then turns into an actual image that just creates something that's way more interesting. Likewise, this one here, you can see that the bird is now effortlessly integrated alongside the actual motion graphics.
And the list just goes on and on. For example, you can see here, this with media makes a big difference. Having those videos integrated into it can completely change the look and feel of this.
And you even saw it yourself inside the beginning of this video. And I'm just toggling this on and off so you can see exactly how it really takes the editing style to a completely new level. And to do this, we only need to do three things.
The first thing we need to do is go ahead and connect. Claude to Hicksfield. Hicksfield is exactly the same way that I got this beautiful image.
Now, believe it or not, this was just a photo taken from my YouTube. Guys, all it did was literally take this photo here. I didn't provide it with anything.
And the skill that I gave you will actually go ahead, grab that and turn that into a video. Hence, I'm wearing blue jeans and I've got the green jumper and it's even captured that chain. And did all of this just simply using Hicksfield.
Now, to connect it, I'll put a link down below. Just click that link and you can do the exact same thing. Now, once you land on Hicksfield, all you need to do is create an account and you can connect this inside Claude.
To do that, we'll just come over to Claude. We'll click on the plus arrow and then click on connectors like so. Then click on manage connectors.
Inside manage connectors, just come to the search button and type in Higgs field like so, and it will appear. Once you click on that, I'm going to reconnect it for you. Just click on connect.
Then that will open up a brand new link in the browser. All you're going to do is come down and click on continue. And then it will reopen Claude and you can do that.
And now from Claude, we can basically create any images or videos we want to and use the power of motion video as well as these beautiful assets. Then within the Higgsfield platform, if you'd like, you can always come back and generate images yourself and videos and basically access the best models on the planet, the latest models on the planet for video, image, effectively anything that you need to do.
Now, once we have our Higgsfield connected to Claude, we can actually run to the second step. And the second step is quite simply. approving the storyboard.
So the skill that I give you will basically say, hey, this is a storyboard that I'm thinking. We're going to have some code. Jack, we're going to have you running.
Then we're going to have this clip that's generated from Hicksfield and it will blend the beauty of code and image together. Then finally, it will let you go ahead and build it and integrate you into anything that you actually need. Then step three is where the magic happens and it will start to integrate you with both video and image into one system.
Now building beautiful motion graphics and video is one thing, but if you don't turn that into a system that can actually move your business forward and get Claude to become an editor, you're really leaving too much value on the table. And all you're doing really is a fun project, which is fine.
But if you want to get ahead, you have to bring in Claude as an editor. Now, everything you're seeing on screen right here is edited once again by Claude. For example, this entire shot right here, guys, was edited by Claude.
The only thing that I gave Claude here was a video of me. And it's designed the graphics, the text, the music behind it, even the sound effects. Say you want a short explainer for your customer onboarding.
And it's added the sound effects. It's added the video zoom -ins. It's added everything together into one short.
And I shared this with people. They could not tell the difference between this and the editor that I paid like thousands and thousands of dollars to go ahead and create. This was using this exact system.
Not only that, guys, would you believe it, but it's also edited long form. So this is a video on Grokbot that I've done. And even if you look at this, guys, as a for instance, you can see what called as...
an editor can actually do. So for example, I can come down here and if we listen, you'll see exactly what I mean here.
So you can see it moves across. And again, Claude edited this entire thing. And by the way, if this all sounds like I'm speaking Spanish, I'll put it down below for my full Claude Code course.
It was updated literally a couple of days ago. It will take you from complete beginners to building beautiful websites and using these motion graphics skills at a level that I have never shared on YouTube. You also get access, guys, to the system behind making shorts like this on autopilot.
And you actually also get access to the entire agentic operating system that has all of my memory systems. It connects to Grokbot, connects to every other individual AI assistant, and will get you light years ahead of your competitor. You get all of it with one click.
I'll put it down below. And there's a big misconception now that you need to learn Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. And guys, I even did that a few Christmases ago.
I locked myself away and spent days learning Adobe After Effects. Claude replaces... because you don't need to do it.
Cloud can actually drive it. And one really cool thing is you almost don't even need to be super knowledgeable about the software anymore because wherever you code, it could be in Premiere Pro. It could be in Capcom.
Or you could just let Claude do it. It will do everything for you. This shot, for example, wasn't made in an editor.
This was all done by prompting in English and letting Claude work the magic. And I want you to think about this like flying a plane. You don't need to know exactly how to fly the plane if you have Claude as the pilot.
You just need to explain the destination you want to get to and Claude will help you get there with the right skills. And so my simple process for editing this is to simply record once. I do it in one take.
Once I've done that, Claude will then edit it with any captions that I want to. It will process. the audio it will manage sound effects and it will then land on my editor and then step three cloud will give you the output that you can iterate and you can simply turn that into a skill so you can build this on repeat and as you can see now we have this together we bring the graphics and the media and you get a result that is outstanding now understanding motion video is wonderful but what we need to do is give cloud skills that make it so powerful it almost feels illegal and we're going to find the seven to do that together inside this video right here
The Hook

The bait, then the rug-pull.
