Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
A creator or marketer who posts carousels on Instagram and wants animated, scored ones without hiring a video editor or buying motion-graphics software.
Someone already paying for a Claude subscription who wants to test a free, code-generated content format before buying any other AI tool.
A solo operator running a product launch, local business promo, or educational carousel series who wants a reusable prompt template.
SKIP IF…
You don't use Claude, specifically Opus 5.5 with code execution, the whole method depends on Claude generating and rendering code, not a universal prompt.
You need polished, on-brand design systems beyond what a single structured prompt and skill file can specify.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
Claude's Opus 5.5 model can write and render the code behind a full animated Instagram carousel, cover art, slide transitions, motion graphics, and a music track, from one text prompt, with no separate image or video model and no cost beyond an existing Claude subscription. The creator ships a free skill file plus a prompt pack with a master template (about, goal, audience, look, colors, real facts, launch price) that works for any niche: he fills it in live for a fictional water bottle launch, Claude proposes a slide-by-slide plan for approval, then hands back a folder with the cover, individual slide videos, and the full vertical deck. Because every slide is generated code, swapping details like step count is just a follow-up prompt, and the finished carousel is already live on his own Instagram with a comment-to-DM call to action.

Claude Opus 5.5 can generate a fully animated, scored Instagram carousel from a single text prompt by writing and rendering its own code, with no separate AI image or video model attached.
Because the carousel is built entirely with code instead of calls to an external image or video model, the only ongoing cost is the Claude subscription you're already paying for.
The master prompt uses nine fillable fields, about, goal, audience, handle, look, colors, images, real facts, and price, that work for any product or niche without rewriting the prompt structure.
Leaving the colors field as 'pick for me' hands design decisions to Claude instead of forcing the user to specify a palette.
Claude proposes a full slide-by-slide plan, cover copy, hook, and CTA, before generating anything, so the user can approve or request changes before spending the generation time.
Every slide in the finished carousel is its own piece of generated code, so asking Claude to change a detail like step count after the fact is a follow-up prompt, not a redo.
The finished output folder includes a cover image, individual slide video files, a combined full-deck vertical video, and a generated music track, ready to upload as-is.
What looks like a static image carousel on Instagram is actually a vertical MP4, Instagram renders the swipeable slides from one continuous video file.
Pairing the carousel's final CTA slide with an auto-DM tool turns a single comment, like a keyword, into automatic delivery of a lead magnet without manual follow-up.
The creator estimates a carousel with this level of animation and sound design would normally take a professional video editor a day or two to produce by hand.
The free resources, skill zip and prompt pack PDF, are gated behind a free community join rather than a direct download link, trading a few extra clicks for an email capture.
Using the Claude desktop app instead of the browser version is recommended specifically because it handles this kind of code-heavy generation more smoothly.
Takeaway
Carousels built entirely from one prompt
THE PROMPT TEMPLATE
Opus 5.5 renders the whole carousel, art, motion, and music, from one filled-in prompt template and a reusable skill file, so the real skill to copy is the prompt structure, not the tool.
01Cold open: the $0 claim
The core claim worth testing yourself: a single text prompt to Opus 5.5 can produce a finished, animated, scored carousel with no external image or video generator attached.
Treat 'completely free' as 'free beyond your existing Claude subscription', the cost claim only holds if you're already paying for Claude access.
02Setup: desktop app + Opus 5.5
Run this inside the Claude desktop app rather than the browser, and set the model to Opus 5.5 with Extra reasoning effort before attempting code-heavy generation like this.
Either 'High' or 'Extra' reasoning effort reportedly works for this kind of motion-graphics generation, so Extra isn't strictly mandatory, just the creator's preference.
03What's in the prompt pack
A prompt pack isn't just prompts, it doubles as a design-guide reference so you can see what finished output looks like for a given niche before you generate anything.
04Getting the free files
Free resource drops are increasingly gated behind a community join rather than a direct link, expect an extra step beyond clicking a description link.
Resource folders on these community platforms get reorganized into topic subfolders, don't assume a flat file list, you may need to navigate two or three folder levels deep.
05Load the skill + master prompt
A Claude 'skill' is just a zip of instructions that gets unzipped into a skills folder and read before the main prompt runs, a reusable layer separate from the one-off prompt.
The install instruction is boilerplate you copy-paste verbatim, you don't need to understand its wording, just that it tells Claude where to find and read the skill.
06Fill the prompt: Arc example
The reusable prompt template covers about, goal, audience, handle, look, colors, images, real facts, and price, fill in these nine fields for any product instead of rewriting the prompt.
Explicitly telling Claude to 'pick for me' on a field like color delegates that creative decision instead of forcing you to specify something you may not have an opinion on.
You can skip the images field entirely and let Claude generate cover art without a product photo, the pipeline doesn't require source images to work.
07Submit + browse other niches
The same prompt pack ships variants for different goals, product launches, local business promos, lead swipes, time-limited offers, match the variant to what the carousel needs to accomplish, not just the niche.
Generation runs in the background for a few minutes, use that time productively by reviewing other prompt examples instead of waiting idle.
08Why it's editable (Spark demo)
Because each slide is generated as its own piece of code, post-generation edits, like changing a step count, are a follow-up prompt instead of a full regeneration.
A consumer-facing tool built on top of this same skill can expose structured choices as UI fields instead of raw prompt text, worth copying if you build on this yourself.
09Claude's plan before building
Before generating anything, Claude lays out the planned cover copy, slide sequence, and CTA for approval, review that plan and request changes before committing to the full render.
The approval step is also where you'd hand over a real product photo if you have one, the system defaults to code-generated art only when none is supplied.
10The finished carousel
The deliverable isn't one file, expect a cover image, individual per-slide video clips, and one combined full-deck vertical video in the output folder, pick the right one for your workflow.
The generated carousel includes a synced music track automatically, you don't need a separate step to add audio.
11Posted + the CTA payoff
What renders as a swipeable Instagram carousel is actually one continuous vertical video, Instagram's carousel format accepts video, not just static images, in each slide position.
Pairing the carousel's closing CTA slide with a keyword-triggered auto-DM turns a single comment into automatic lead-magnet delivery, build that funnel piece separately from the carousel generation itself.
Glossary
Terms worth knowing.
Live carousel
An Instagram carousel post built as one continuous vertical video instead of static images, so each 'slide' can include motion graphics, transitions, and music.
Skill file
A packaged set of instructions Claude reads after being unzipped into its skills folder, telling it the exact design rules and steps to follow when generating a specific type of output.
Master prompt
A single reusable prompt template with blank fields (about, goal, audience, look, colors, etc.) that a user fills in to redirect the same generation process at any product or niche.
Opus 5.5 (Extra thinking)
The Claude model and reasoning-effort setting used in this workflow; higher reasoning effort gives the model more room to plan the code before generating it.
Auto-DM
An automation that watches comments on a post for a trigger keyword and sends the commenter an automatic direct message, used here to deliver a lead magnet.

So Opus 5 .5 can now generate live animated carousels. completely free with one single prompt. What you're seeing on the screen right now, all of this was generated from Cloud with a single prompt with $0.
All of the music, animation, assets, these are all generated from within Cloud, so you don't need any AI image model or video model at all. So in this video, I'm gonna show you step by step how you can create these incredible carousels for any niche, and I'm gonna give you all of the resources completely free, including the skill file and a prompt pack.
So all you have to do is just copy and paste, and you'll be generating live carousels like this for your own niche so we're going to be doing all of this inside the cloud desktop app again this is optional you can also do this inside cloud .ai on on the website but i highly suggest downloading the desktop app because it'll just make your life a lot easier and of course we're going to be using the opus 5 .5 model because this is absolutely incredible at motion graphics and create and creating these live carousels so i'm using extra but you can choose to do either high or extra both of them work pretty well all right so once you get that set So the next thing is I'm gonna give you again this entire prompt pack completely for free in a little bit I'm gonna show you exactly how to get this step by step so that way you don't get confused there But essentially this prompt pack will include all of the guides Including the different designs that you can create and then also at the bottom.
It also gives you the prompt examples We're gonna walk through a live example so that way you can see exactly how this works But I just want to show you that this includes all of the prompts for any niche and then a bunch of different guides so that way you could know exactly how this thing works and then how you can edit it or make changes to your own particular niche on top of this prompt pack i'm also going to give you this live carousel skill file that i generated just to make you guys's life a lot easier so essentially we need the live carousel zip file and then this prompt pack now in order to get these all you have to do is click on a link in the description in the first comment i've i'm going to pin this as well it's a free community so once Once you click on it, it's going to bring you to the About page.
You're going to click on Join. Again, this is completely free. There's no payment required.
Once you click on Join, you're going to end up right here in the main Community section. So in order to get access to those files, head over to the Classroom section, go to YouTube Resources, and there's multiple folders here because I give a ton of free stuff here for you guys. So just make sure you're clicking on the Cloud Code and Codex and GPT folder and scroll all the way to the bottom and make sure you're clicking on the Live Carousels with Opus 5.
and then if you see in the bottom i've given you the resources one is going to be the zip file right you can just click on download and then another one is this prompt pack that i just showed you right here okay so that's how easy it is for you guys to access this now the zip file this skill is very important as well because uh this is a instruction that we're giving our cloud to make sure that it follows all of the design guidelines so that way you can create these really cool uh animated live carousel for you guys okay so once you download the zip file it's gonna look something like this right it's just a zip file Then you're gonna go ahead go back to your cloud I'm using cloud code, but you can do this inside the cloud chat as well.
It doesn't really matter So you're gonna drag this right here. That's my zip file And then afterwards the prompt is gonna look something like this So let me just actually copy the prompt from this prompt back so that we guys can just follow along here Okay, so you're just gonna scroll down to the bottom The first few pages explains how the live works and everything else but I'm gonna talk about that a little bit as well So let's go ahead and try this master prompt right here So it says use the live carousel skill to make me an animated carousels and here's where you can actually Put the topic that you want to generate the carousels on so let me walk you through a live example So I'm just gonna go ahead and copy this entire thing Go back to my cloud here, and I'm gonna paste this So now that's all you need.
You need the skill file and then a prompt right there. So let me go ahead and fill these sections that I have left for you guys to fill yourself. So again, the about, the goal, the audience, the handle, the look, the colors, images, real facts and all that stuff.
And again, like I said. All of this is being generated inside our cloud, and cloud in Opus 5 is using this, using code to generate. So there's no image model required.
There's no video model required. We don't need to attach this to GPT 2 .5 image or Hicksfield or anything like that, right? Because all of it's being generated within cloud itself.
Of course, like I said, it is completely free because it's not using any outside external resources like an image model. However, of course, the only cost would be your cloud data. subscription that you pay but so if you're paying like for the pro plan $17 or whatever it may be so that's all you need and again that's a separate cost because if you're using cloud you need that anyway all right so let me go ahead and fill the rest of this out All right, so here we go.
I finished everything, so I wrote the about, right? So for this example, I'm saying the launch of Arc, a 24 -ounce insulated water bottle. The goal is calm and cold to get the launch discount link.
Audience, busy people who forgot to drink water, right? Handle, you're going to put your handle. The look and feel, you're going to describe what look you want.
Solid, bold colors, blocks. The colors, pick for me, right? Means that cloud will figure it out on its own.
Images, if you want to drag a photo here of a particular product, product that you have go ahead and do that if not you can just leave it you can just completely remove the image here and then do a real facts and then launch price.
So this is for a particular product. So like I said, this could be applied to any niche. You can just copy this and give it to Cloud and say, hey, fill these out for my niche or for my product or whatever it may be.
And like I said, you will have a ton of examples in that prompt pack as well if you want to just follow along. And one more thing, after you download the zip file, make sure you put this in there as well, which says, here's a skill I downloaded. Install it by unzipping it into this Cloud Skills, then read.
Blah, blah, blah. But you don't have to worry about what it says. Just copy and paste this.
That's all you need. It's essentially telling Cloud to use the skill that we downloaded from the zip file and then follow those instructions along with this particular prompt here as well. Okay, so that's all we need to do.
So now let's go ahead and press enter. And it's going to go ahead and start to generate this. So there you go.
Now it's going to go ahead and look through that zip file and download everything that's inside it, all of the files and instructions. And then afterward, it's going to go ahead and create a live carousel for this particular product, which is called the launch of an ARC, a 24 -ounce insulated water bottle. So let's go ahead and give this a couple of minutes.
Now, while this is happening, we can take a look at the other examples here. So let me actually open that up here. All right.
So this is the prompt pack. So what we did was we went ahead and copy the master prompt here right so you have a bunch of different options there as well so if you want to do a launch product you can just copy this and this one get local customers moving right so there's different examples for different niches and for different purposes as well like teach something in five swipes sell an offer before it ends show before and after demo an app without screen recording so lots of different options here that you guys can explore now one of the things i wanted to point out just like i mentioned the reason why this is free is because claude creates this with code right so for instance Here's an example that I had generated.
By the way, this is Spark, my social media AI employee. So I use the same exact skill, but this is with a visual interface, of course, right? Where I just used this live carousel and I set to generate me a carousel with this particular look, right?
So I have the option to pick a look from a color or paper and blah, blah, blah, all of that good stuff. And I went ahead and generated the same exact skill there. But I just wanted to point out that after it gets generated, you can actually actually edit the the look and field or the things that are inside the carousel all right so for instance let's say I generated this thing right or this one let's say i can instead of four steps i can say five steps right just to show you guys how you can edit this if i click on five now it's going to show five steps right and then of course you can you know change anything in any other fields here because like i said each individual section is a piece of code and therefore you can edit this of course in order for you to edit this If you want to make any changes, you have to use Claude if you're doing it.
For this particular one, this Spark AI social media employee, I have given it a user interface where people can make the changes right after it generated. But for you guys, you can just use your Claude to just say, hey, I want to be able to edit this section or make changes here. And then you can just use prompting there.
Okay, and it looks like this got done as well as far as the planning stages goes, right? So this setup is ready. So it read all of the skill files.
inside that zip file and then now it says that uh everything is good to go here's the game plan it's going to show up with the cover now this is i've done this on purpose because i wanted to make sure before it generates the slides it gives you exactly what it's going to generate so that way you have the option to approve or deny this right so it gives you the cover exactly what it says on the cover busy day angle the details the deal the call to action all of it is here and at the bottom it says reply go to build it or tell me what to change right so you can you have the chance to make any changes here if you want if you have a photo of a bottle a png cut send me i'll put the real bottle in the cover so same thing you can just say approved and no photo i'm just going to press enter and now it's going to go ahead and create the slide for me without any photos and then i also approved this plan so now we that way it should be able to now uh go ahead and create this all right perfect so after a good couple of minutes it looks like it got done so it says your arc carousel is done and the files are in downloads and arc carousel so it just creates a folder for you in your downloads folder or whatever folder you specify and it go ahead and it shows you exactly where it is so let me go ahead and open it for you guys so this is the full finished product let me bring this over so there you go this is the
our carousel folder inside my downloads file. So it gives you a bunch of different files, including the cover image. It gives you the full nine by 16 MP4, because obviously these are like, this is a video, but when you put it inside your Instagram, it becomes a slideshow.
And I'm going to show that in a little bit. But anyway, so it gives you the full video where it includes all of the decks and then also gives you individual ones, right? So these are individual slides that you can check out, for instance, and it has music by the way, as well.
So if I play this.
See And same thing so this is one of the slides right so there's another one for instance if you want to see the individual Slides of course, but let's go ahead and take a look at the full one here So now I'm gonna go ahead and click on the full one here So this is the 9 by 16 one so that way we can see exactly what this looks like Let me go ahead and play this Again includes the music the animation That's the second slide now That's the third one This is the fourth one And this is the fifth one this is a CTA take a look at that these are really cool animations and music there All right, very cool.
So that's the whole slide there again. This is one of the designs, right? There's a ton of different designs.
You guys can choose from that prompt pack so you can check it out So let me show you now what this looks like inside Instagram. Alright, so this is my Instagram account here I posted this earlier so you can see right here or a couple of days ago Because I've been testing this for a while now So this is what it looks like you can actually interact with this by moving to the next slide, right?
So this is what a carousel is usually a carousel is a static set of images, but this is a lot better because the music, so... This one also includes in the sound effects as well and animations and user has to like slide or click on this next slide to move to the next one.
I mean, look at how cool these animations are. Honestly, like this is something that would take somebody like a professional video editor to create this in a day or two, right? But now Opus can do this all by itself just with a prompt.
It's crazy. So this is the last one, which is the CTA, right? So it says you want your own Jarvis, comment the word Jarvis, and it shows up this nice.
little cta there and then of course same thing as far as the comment itself when somebody comments jarvis then you'll be able to i've set up on auto dm so my auto dm is set up through my spark social media ai employee so when somebody comments jarvis or guide anywhere in any of my instagrams so that's why you see in this one for instance when people comment jarvis Right.
It sends them an auto DM that says send. Look in your DMs. It might be sitting in your message request.
So these are all my auto DMs that are set. So that's why it's important to have a CTA at the end of these carousels. So that way you direct your users or the people who are watching and interacting with your carousels to do the next step.
Right. So that's what a CTA does. But anyways.
Like I said, all of this is available for you guys completely free. So check it out. Let me know if you have any questions, put them in the comments of the video and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks for watching. Make sure you like subscribe because I'm going to be updating this as we go and create better versions of this for you guys. All right.
Well, thanks for watching and I'll see you on the next one.
