Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Connecting Claude to Semrush's MCP replaces AI hallucination with real keyword demand, turning business ideation into a filter problem — volume, difficulty, and CPC tell you exactly what to build.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You want to start a digital product side business on Etsy or Gumroad but do not know which product has real search demand.
  • You have Claude Pro or access to Claude Fable 5 and want to put the Semrush connector to immediate practical use.
  • You are a solo creator comfortable with Canva or Google Sheets who wants a repeatable research-to-product pipeline.
  • You are exploring AI agency work and need a validated, data-backed process to identify client deliverables.
SKIP IF…
  • You are already experienced with SEO keyword research — the Semrush explainer is introductory.
  • You want a deep code-level build walkthrough; the product creation here is surface-level Claude Chat, not Claude Code.
  • You need pricing or sales strategy for an AI agency — the community upsell is teased but not taught in this video.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

The video demonstrates a three-step loop: connect Semrush's MCP to Claude, run a structured research prompt specifying filters (KD < 25, volume > 100, CPC > $1) across 25 niches, and let Claude rank the 50 resulting keyword opportunities. The winner — an Airbnb host welcome book kit — scores on all seven internal ranking criteria including low competition, a buyer who expenses the purchase monthly, and zero-code Canva creation. Claude then generates four files (welcome book template, editable Word version, host signs pack, turnover cleaning checklist) in the same conversation. The practical conclusion: swap the niche in the same prompt to find SaaS or tool ideas, then hand those to Claude Code for a full build.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • CPC above $1 is the real buyer-intent signal: advertisers only pay that price when searchers actually convert.
  • Keyword difficulty under 25 is the solo-creator entry gate — above it you need SEO authority to rank without paid ads.
  • A demand cluster beats a single keyword: the Airbnb welcome book wins because house rules, cleaning checklists, and host signs are four products from one research pass.
  • Real data from an MCP removes the hallucination trap: Claude cannot invent demand that does not exist when the numbers come from Semrush live.
  • The same three-filter prompt transfers across niches — swap digital products for SaaS tools and re-run to find software ideas for Claude Code.
  • Notion and Canva template demand is real but invisible to Google-based CPC tools; validate those niches on Etsy internal search or EverBee before building.
  • An Airbnb host is a business buyer, not a consumer — they expense the $19 template and buy the whole product ladder.
  • The Semrush MCP connector in Claude desktop requires only an OAuth approve click — no API key wrangling, no code.
  • Claude's artifact output in the split-pane preview is a better deliverable format than inline chat text for multi-row keyword tables.
  • Fable 5 handles the full loop — research, ranking, and document generation — without switching tools, reducing the friction that kills most side-project experiments.
Takeaway

Build products the market is already searching for

WHAT TO LEARN

Real demand signals already exist in keyword data — the skill is knowing which three numbers to filter on and letting an MCP-connected model do the research legwork.

  • Search volume tells you whether a problem exists; CPC tells you whether the people who have that problem spend money — both together are stronger than either alone.
  • Keyword difficulty under 25 is the entry gate for solo creators without an existing audience; above that threshold you need established SEO authority to compete organically.
  • A demand cluster matters more than a single keyword: the Airbnb welcome book wins because the surrounding cluster — house rules, cleaning checklist, host signs — yields four products from one research pass.
  • The same three-filter prompt transfers across niches: swap digital products for SaaS tools and re-run to surface software ideas that can be handed to Claude Code for a full build.
  • When Semrush data is thin on a niche, demand lives inside platform-specific marketplaces where Google-based CPC cannot see it — validate those separately with Etsy internal search, EverBee, or eRank before committing build time.
Glossary

Terms worth knowing.

Keyword Difficulty (KD)
A 0-100 score estimating how hard it is to rank organically for a search term. Below 25 means competition is low enough for a new creator without an existing audience.
CPC (Cost Per Click)
The price advertisers pay each time someone clicks their ad for a given keyword. High CPC signals that buyers in this niche actually spend money.
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
An open standard that lets AI models call external tools and APIs directly. The Semrush MCP lets Claude pull live keyword data without the user navigating a dashboard.
Demand cluster
A group of closely related keywords sharing the same buyer intent. Building for a cluster means one product concept yields multiple sellable variations.
Connector (Claude)
Anthropic's term for first-party MCP integrations inside Claude desktop — pre-built OAuth connections to tools like Semrush, Canva, Google Drive, and Zapier.

metaphor
00:00Oh, wow. So this is very cool actually. Oh, wait.
00:02Wait. Take a look at this. Wow.
00:03Look. So for this one, a thousand people are searching and the competition is pretty low.
00:09And look at this, businesses are paying $11.52 to reach to these people. Now, this in itself could be an actual product that we can ask ClotCode to build.
00:18And by the way, this is not just one. There is 50 different business ideas that Clot pulled up for us in different industries. Everybody's telling you to start a business with AI right now, but nobody's telling you how to find an actual idea or product that people are really searching for with real data and analytics.
00:37So in this video, I'm gonna show you exactly that. We're gonna use Simrush and Claude code with the amazing new Claude Fable five model that just got released to find out what people are actually searching for in a specific niche and validate that idea against real search data. And if it checks out, we'll have Claude code actually go build a thing for us or at least a version of it that gets us started.
00:59Now, is a complete beginner's guide and by the end, you'll either walk away with an idea or you'll know exactly how to validate one yourself. Let's jump right in. Okay.
01:07So before I show you how to do this step by step, here's the entire system in one sentence. We asked Claude with the Fable five model to pull the real search data, how many people are actually searching for something and what businesses paid to reach them. And then Claude decides which ideas are actually worth building and that's it.
01:25Now, the data comes from Simrush. It's one of the biggest SEO tools out there in the market. And the real magic is that Claude can connect directly to the Simrush MCP using our connectors right here.
01:35Which basically means that instead of me clicking around a dashboard for six hours, Claude can pull all of the numbers itself using the simrush m c p. So let me go ahead and show you how to connect the simrush m c p first to our Claude and then we're gonna go ahead and jump in right into the prompt and get started. Alright.
01:51So first things first, go ahead and click on the link in the description. Go ahead and sign up for this, uh, Simrush account. Again, they give you a free trial or honor their, uh, different plans so you can check this out for free, uh, by yourself.
02:02So once you, uh, set your account up, you can come into the SEO section here and then click on the keyword overview. So this is where now we can search any keyword and it's gonna give us all of the data that we are going to use, that's going to be very important for us. And then like I said, this is just for you guys to see what this looks like and then obviously, we're gonna have Claude pull everything for us.
02:22We're not gonna do anything manually here, but I just wanna show you what this looks like so that way you know what these numbers are when Claude pulls it. So once you come here, let's say you're looking for, I don't know, digital products.
02:32Right? Digital AI actually, I'm gonna say AI business solutions.
02:38Let's see. Solutions. Right?
02:41So I'm just gonna press search. Alright. So this is what it pulls.
02:46Now let me actually give you three numbers that are gonna matter the whole video. So that way you can see exactly what we're talking about. So let me give them to you fast.
02:54Now search volume, this is very important right here. This is how many people search this every month. Keyword difficulty, zero to a 100.
03:02This basically means how hard it is to compete. Under 25 is basically a sweet sweet spot there. And CPC right here as you can see this is pretty high $22.
03:11This basically means what businesses pay per click to reach that particular searcher. High CPC just means that audience spends money. Right?
03:19And the volume tells you that people want it and the difficulty tells you that you can win. CPC tells you they will pay. So that's kind of the whole framework here.
03:27So keep these numbers in mind. I just wanted to show them to you in the Simrush dashboard so you can see these are real data that's being pulled right now from the Google search volume. So now when we switch back to our Claude and when it gives us the results, at least you know what I'm talking about.
03:42Of course, I'm gonna go over this again. Okay. So now let me show you how to connect the Simrush MCP so so that way we can instead of going to the website here and doing this manually, we can just basically have Claude pull all that number for us from directly here using our prompt.
03:57Right? So all you have to do, I'm is I'm in my Claude chat here. We can use Claude code as well but I'm gonna show you later on how you can use Claude code to actually build the product.
04:06So, I'm in my Claude here. I'm using Fable five. Now, this is obviously the better model right now but feel free to use Opus 4.8 if you don't have access to this right now.
04:15So in order to connect to the sim rush MCP, you're gonna click on the plus button right here, you're gonna come to connectors, you're gonna go to manage connectors and you're gonna come to the top here and click on browse connectors.
04:27And here, you can search for sim rush. Right? There you go.
04:30That's the one right there. So if you click on this, obviously, mine's connected. But let me go ahead and disconnect it so that way we can start, uh, from scratch.
04:37So there you go. This is what it's gonna look like. I'm gonna click on connect now.
04:41So as soon as I click on connect, this is gonna take me to in to a OAuth to make sure that obviously I have ability to approve this. Right? So it says cloud request access to this MCP and make sure you're logged in to your Simrush MCP and your Chrome so that way it automatically open opens this up for you.
05:02So once you come here, all you have to do is just click on approve and now it's gonna take you back to your cloud. So there you go. It's asking you to open cloud again and it should now have your Simrush MCP connected.
05:13So if I go back right here and click on Simrush, now you can see it says connected to Semrush and all of these different tool permissions are available for me including organic search, keyword search, get report schema, and everything else. One thing you should do, I'm gonna come here in the custom and actually just say always allow so that way it doesn't ask me over and over again.
05:31Right? So, just do that and but obviously, if you are a bit paranoid, you have the option to do needs approval or do custom there. Alright.
05:39So, once you have this connected, now we're gonna go back here to our main chat. I'm gonna click on the plus button just to make sure that I have my connector toggled on.
05:47If I hover over my connector, you'll see that Simrush is toggled on, which is great. Okay. So now, let me go ahead and type the prompt and then I'm gonna go over this so that way you see exactly what I'm talking Alright.
05:58So I have this long prompt here, by the way, this is something that I just came up with. If you you know, if you want this particular prompt, go ahead and comment prompt in the video here below and I'm gonna send you this prompt.
06:09If not, like I said, you can just pause the video, take a screenshot of this or you can come up with something of yourself there. So let me give you a quick rundown on what this prompt is and then we're gonna enter it and then let it do its work. So what I'm saying is basically act as my product research strategist.
06:25Right? I'm saying use the simrush m c p to find simple digital products like templates, checklists, spreadsheets, planners, so on and so forth.
06:33Stuff that one person can make without coding. Now I'm saying search across 25 different niches which is finance, fitness, wedding, real estate and all of it and find me the 50 keywords but only ones that pass my filters.
06:46Now the filters are that the difficulty needs to be under 25, the volume needs to be above 100 and the CPC needs to be above a dollar. And for everyone tell me what product to build, who buys it, what to charge and where to sell it.
07:01Now, these filters are very very important because obviously I'm not asking AI for business ideas because that's how you get generic garbage. Right? I'm asking you to go find demand that already exists and just show it to me.
07:14And therefore, like I said, that's why I'm specifically asking and given all these parameters to say go use the SimRash MCP and grab all that information. So, I'm gonna enter this and while this is processing, I'm gonna open this up so that way you guys can see exactly what I wrote here.
07:28So again, same thing I said, focus on simple products such such as PDF guides, templates, budget trackers, meal plans, fitness plans. Right? Weight loss, meal planning, wedding planning, parenting, education.
07:40So these are all the different sectors that digital products could be easily made and I'm saying make sure you're focusing. I should have put some spaces here but that's fine. You know, again, like I said, you guys can kind of use something similar, have ChatGPT or Claude come up with something similar.
07:56But essentially, like I said, I wanted to make sure that the keyword difficulty finds stays under 25. The monthly search volume is about a 100 above 100 and CPC is above $1. Okay?
08:06So that's basically the main thing. So there you go. It says verify intent, verified intent, classification codes and prepared to execute keywords.
08:13So now, it's executing the Simrush MCP as you can see right here. So you can even click on this and it'll show you exactly what it's doing. So this is a simrush sign here, the logo.
08:22So as you can see, if I go back there to my simrush, there you go.
08:29That's their logo. So that's what it's doing. So you can see exactly that it's using the MCP tool to gather real data, real search data that's coming in.
08:39And this is where you're removing that hallucination that a lot of times AI models like Claude makes because with this MCP you you're pulling real data.
08:50Right? You're pulling real data, real search data and therefore you're avoiding the trap of AI giving you some ridiculous idea that hasn't been tested or there's no demand. So that's what's happening right now.
09:02So let's go let let's go ahead and let this thing finish. Okay. Perfect.
09:06So it says curated 50 keywords across niches ranked top opportunities. Right? So you can see right here, you can by the way open and close this.
09:14But it went through and used, uh, the sim rush so you can see how much data it used and it grabbed, uh, the wedding timeline template. Right? So it used a bunch of, uh, data and real search data and then it created this file for us.
09:29So so again, we can just click on this and say open the anti gravity or we can just click on this and it's gonna show up on the preview of the left hand side here as well. Like I said, you can if you don't like this file, you can just tell Claude to, hey, just put it in the chat here. But I like I kinda like this markdown file that it shows.
09:44Alright. So let's take a look at it. Digital product opportunity search 50 keywords backed by Simrush data.
09:49Right? Data source, Simrush US keywords data rate pulled 06/10/2026. Filters applied.
09:55Keyword difficulty needs to be less than 25. Monthly volume should be above a 100, CPC above $1.
10:01So I applied all of our filters there. Alright. Take a look at this.
10:04So these are the top 50 keyword opportunities for us. Now, keyword wedding template, wedding timeline template.
10:12Right? It gave it has 2,400 search volume.
10:16The look at the cost per clip. It's $2.75, which again meets our our CPC of above a dollar.
10:26Right? And the keyword difficulty needs to be less than 25 which it is. So this KD stands for keyword difficulty.
10:32It's 23 and so it's saying why they're searching the problem.
10:36Right? Why they're searching and slash the problem. Couples, planners don't know how to sequence the day terrified of running late.
10:43So product should be hour by hour wedding day timeline. Canva, Google treats, buyer engaged couples, DIY brides, new planners. Right?
10:51So, it gives you all of the data and why this is necessary and what problems it's solving. So, this is in the weddings and events space. Right?
10:58So, now, you have the second option which is wedding checklist PDF 1,600 searches $1.24 for CBC and, uh, volume is or the keyword difficulty is 18.
11:11Overwhelmed by twelve months of task, one printable master list. Right? Twelve month wedding plan list blah blah blah.
11:16So you can go ahead and kinda see the different, uh, niches here. Real estate Airbnb. This is obviously a pretty great, uh, space as well.
11:24You can see right here Airbnb cleaning checklist. Right? 1,600 people are searching.
11:29By the way, this is real search volume. Like I mentioned, it's actually pulling search volume from Simrush here. So it's not like this just guessing.
11:35Right? So let's say small businesses. Right?
11:38This is another huge space because the CPC here is high because obviously, that's a big market there. So you can see exactly client onboarding checklist, bookkeeping client onboarding.
11:48These are the different digital products that could be created and Claude will create this for us and I'm gonna show you how in a little bit.
11:58Non profit budget template. Right? A thousand searches, $6 and 69.
12:02So let's see. Invoice and trade business. This is another section that has a high CPC as well.
12:08Cleaning and home organization. Right? This is another one.
12:10Move out cleaning check list 600 1,600 volume there. Careers and resume, you got resume template and it's got 2,400 search volume.
12:22You got health and fitness. Right? Meal planning, calisthenic workout plan PDF, right.
12:28You got aesthetician or sorry, beauty coaching and photography, it's another good space.
12:35Let's see another one. Honorable mention, so this is the one that I just missed but we're not gonna focus on So now it gives you top 10 ranked opportunities ranked on low competition, clear need, ease of creation, ease of explanation. Airbnb host welcome book and house kit.
12:49Right? It says product promise. Looks like a super host from day one, a beautiful editable welcome book your guest will actually read.
12:56Right? That search volume is there for this. Bookkeepers clang onboarding.
12:59So now it gives you all of these different top tens that are kind of the highest chance for you to succeed based on that search volume. The single best opportunity Airbnb, Host Welcome Book, and Housekit.
13:11Why it wins across all seven ranking criteria. It gives you exactly why it's saying and this is what I was talking about in the beginning that this removes this concept of just guessing and then wasting time and building things that there's no search volume on nobody's looking for. That's why like I mentioned, this is such a good combination if you're starting like a side hustle or something like that.
13:31Where Simrush data was thin and how validate manually. Right? So you also have I wanna be transparent about gaps.
13:37There's gaps it tells you. Notion templates, Canva templates. Obviously, it's a very crowded market so that's why pretty sure that's why it's saying that.
13:43Alright. So, there you go. So now, what we can do is basically say, okay.
13:47So now that we know that Claude used Airbnb or sorry, the same rush data to find us the best opportunity. We can just do is basically copy this and say, hey, take this to cloud code and have it built for us.
14:01Or even right here, I can just say, hey, let's go ahead and build this thing for us. Right? So so now I'm gonna go and just say, go ahead and create the Airbnb host welcome book and house kit for us.
14:13Right? So I'm just gonna enter this here. Like I said, we can have this with cloth code but I'm just gonna put it in cloth chat here and see what it does.
14:22So it's thinking, let me go ahead and turn this off for now. And I'm putting this the reason why I did this because it has all of the data here. So now I was like, let me just go ahead and put it here so it can build it for us because like another thing is I have access to I have given it access to Canva, so that's why it's architecting all of this stuff.
14:41So that says, let me build this property first. I'll check the document creation guidelines then create the full kit.
14:46So it's gonna read the PDF skill before creating the welcome book PDF. So by the way, this is reading the files that's why I said I'm putting it in the same chat history so that way it has access to everything.
14:56Like I said, if we want, we can use the clot code to do this for us very easily as well. You just basically copy and paste this into ClothCode and then say, hey, can you build this thing for me?
15:07Right? And the reason why I'm saying use ClothCode is obviously this is something in the digital product realm. If your niche is something like other than digital product, let's say you're looking for business tools.
15:19Right? So I'm just gonna say business tools. Then let's see what comes up here.
15:25Keyword difficulty is 39. CPC is high. So let's see what kind of a keyword variations business intelligence tools.
15:32So this is a huge search volume right there. Right? So let's say you want to have Claude built or search things in the business intelligence tool section.
15:42The reason why I'm saying after it creates the opportunity for you, you can just then take that and take it to Claude code and say, hey, build this thing up for me, a tool. Obviously, you have to go back and forth, that's a bigger build so that's why I was like that. If I do that, that video is gonna be like five hours long and maybe I'll do that for another one.
15:58But this is just to some gonna give you an idea of how you can get started. Right?
16:03So actually that business tools is a good space because look at this, the volume is pretty high, keyword difficulty is not that bad, CPC is $16, and majority of the volume is in The US which is a pretty good sign.
16:16So even this one. Right? Business intelligence tools.
16:19Oh, so this one, the keyword difficulty is pretty high. That's why the search volume is really big. Uh, but again, this is where you can play around and use actually Claude instead of doing this manually.
16:28Because you can see if I do this manually, this takes a long time. So maybe just have Claude, hey, um, search in the business intelligence section, uh, just basically the same prompt that we looked at for the digital product, but now in the business intelligence, uh, realm and niche.
16:43And then it'll give you exactly the top 10 best opportunities that you can look for. And then whatever you find, you can give that to ClotCode and if it's some kind of a SaaS product or an app or something like that, and you can have it basically build it for you.
16:56With the Fable five right now, I mean, ClotCode is something of a superpower, so you can certainly do that. But let's go ahead and let this thing finish the PDF generation here.
17:07As you can see, it looks like a lot of it is getting done here. So now, while this is finishing up, just quickly, if you guys are in learning how to monetize Cloud Code and Cloud in general and build real projects for businesses and actually know exactly how to sell them, that's where we, uh, talk about in the community and I have a lot of guides there.
17:26So if you're interested in building real projects for businesses that solve actual problems, check out the community link. It's gonna be in the description. We also have our AI agency, uh, five week accountability program day to day, which shows you exactly we show you exactly how to do this from start to finish regardless of your background.
17:43It's This gonna be based on my own agency that I've had for a while. We talk about how to price your services, how to jump on a call with a customer, how to get your first customer, and everything else you need. And, of course, you have myself, my entire team, and the people from all over the world there to help each other out in this incredible new space.
18:00So check out the community. Link is gonna be in the description. So let's see what it did.
18:03Oh, there you go. Nice. So it looks like it already generated a nice little cover page for us.
18:10So so now it says let me go back here.
18:16Your Airbnb host welcome book and house kit is ready. Four files, one cohesive boutique design blah blah blah. Welcome book template, welcome book editable, host sign packs.
18:26Right? And turnover cleaning checklist and everything else. So it looks like it generated four different templates for us.
18:32That's really cool. So so this is our turnover cleaning check checklist.
18:38Right? So you've got this really nice little checklist for your Airbnb host, kitchen, bedrooms, living areas, bathrooms.
18:45Right? It's got a nice little checklist here. Uh, the turnover checklist continued here.
18:49So let's go ahead and now take a look over the welcome here, the welcome one that it generated, this book template. Look at this, the property name, city, state. You've got a nice little welcome book.
19:00Look how well this thing is done. Right? So the essentials, check-in guide, you've got WiFi and entertainment, kitchen appliances, comfort and utilities.
19:10I mean, this is absolutely amazing what you can do. And again, this is a digital product.
19:15You can actually sell this because again, this is based on a search volume that we looked that this is in demand and how much people are willing to pay for. Right? So this is something you can sell on Etsy, on Amazon, and different markets there as well.
19:28You can download all of this and you can make this into something of a side business. Again, same thing.
19:34So the host signature, this is another one that I built. Let's see what this looks like. Oh, we oh, yeah.
19:41This is the one with the house rules. Right? So this is the no smoking, vaping, blah blah blah, quiet hours before you go.
19:48Right? Trash and recycling. This is something definitely I've seen in the Airbnb's that I've stayed in.
19:53So as you can see, it created this nice little product for us actually that again is based on real search volume.
20:00So hopefully, you found that helpful. Again, check the link in the description and all the resources are gonna be there for you. If you want this helpful, make sure you like, subscribe because I've got a lot more content and space that's coming out that you don't wanna miss.
20:12Thanks for watching and I'll see you on the next one.

The bait, then the rug-pull.

Before the title card even appears, the result is already on screen: a live Semrush report showing 50 validated keyword opportunities with CPCs and difficulty scores, pulled by Claude Fable 5. The promise is direct — the gap nobody fills is not the idea, it is the data behind it.
