Big Idea

The argument in one line.

A single Claude Code skill pack turns SEO into a seven-command pipeline (research, build, write, optimize, publish, audit) that a business owner with zero coding or SEO background can run end to end.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • A local service business owner (plumber, HVAC, electrician, contractor) who wants Google leads but has no SEO or coding background.
  • A marketer or agency operator who wants to automate keyword research, content writing, and technical audits with Claude Code.
  • Someone already using Claude Code day to day who wants a concrete, multi-step workflow to apply it to, past one-off prompts.
SKIP IF…
  • You're optimizing a national or enterprise site rather than a single-location local service business, since the city-times-service matrix approach doesn't map cleanly.
  • You don't have (or won't pay for) a Semrush subscription, since the keyword research step is built directly on top of it.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

The creator packaged the SEO process behind a $500K local-service business into a free Claude Code skill pack of seven slash commands. It finds keywords through Semrush with four filters (volume, difficulty, intent, cost-per-click), clusters them, and builds a city-times-service page matrix. It generates a website, writes blog posts and service pages by scanning the top three ranking competitors first, then optimizes every page across on-page, technical, AI Overviews, and LLM visibility. It publishes through GitHub plus Vercel or WordPress plus Novamira, and it runs a self-correcting audit that keeps re-applying fixes until the site score reaches 100 instead of just reporting one.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • A four-step keyword process, cast a wide net, filter to winners, cluster into groups, then prioritize build order, replaces guessing at which keywords to target first.
  • Ranking for five clustered keywords on one page instead of one multiplies the odds of ranking at all, the same way five free-throw attempts beat taking just one shot.
  • A winning keyword needs four filters passed at once: at least 50 to 100 monthly searches, keyword difficulty under 30, the right search intent, and real cost-per-click competition.
  • Blog posts are built for informational search intent while service pages are built for transactional intent, so the two page types are designed to catch different searches, not compete for the same click.
  • A city-times-service matrix (plumber Toronto, plumber Mississauga, water heaters Toronto, water heaters Mississauga) turns one local business into dozens of location-specific landing pages automatically.
  • Blog content is treated as a rising tide that lifts service pages, since the domain authority built by informational posts pulls transactional money pages up the rankings alongside them.
  • The content process scans the top three ranking pages for a keyword before writing, on the logic that whatever those pages are already doing right is worth copying rather than guessing at from scratch.
  • Humor is used as a deliberate SEO lever because it keeps readers on the page longer, and time-on-page is itself a signal Google's ranking algorithm rewards.
  • SEO optimization is scored across four separate buckets: on-page, technical performance, AI Overviews, and visibility inside LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
  • A site audit that only hands back a score report is treated as incomplete; the audit tool re-applies fixes automatically and re-scores until the number stops climbing.
  • Publishing a site live does not make Google aware it exists, submitting a sitemap through Google Search Console is the separate step that actually gets pages crawled and indexed.
  • The entire seven-command sequence, keyword research, website build, blog posts, service pages, optimization, publish, audit, is designed to run inside a single ongoing Claude Code session with no coding or SEO background required.
Takeaway

A seven-command pipeline replaces guessing at SEO with a repeatable loop.

WHAT TO LEARN

The whole system works because every step, keywords, pages, optimization, and audits, filters by measurable criteria first and copies what's already ranking, instead of guessing.

02How I got 50K clicks/mo and $500K from SEO
  • The whole system is a compression of lessons from a real business that generated roughly $500K and 50,000 monthly clicks from SEO, not a theoretical framework.
05Finding winning keywords: the four-step process
  • A four-step process, cast a wide net, filter to winners, cluster into groups, then prioritize, replaces picking keywords off a single unstructured request.
  • Ranking for a cluster of five related keywords on one page beats optimizing a page for just one keyword, since it multiplies the chances any single search converts into a visit.
08The four keyword filters: volume, difficulty, intent, CPC
  • Stacking four filters at once, minimum search volume, low keyword difficulty, the right intent, and real cost-per-click competition, turns 100,000+ raw keywords into a workable shortlist.
  • Cost-per-click doubles as a competition signal: keywords other businesses are already paying to advertise on are keywords with real money behind them.
09The city x service matrix
  • A city-times-service matrix (every service crossed with every city served) is the structural shortcut that turns one local business into dozens of location-specific landing pages.
11Why blog posts lift money pages (the tide and the boats)
  • Blog content and transactional service pages aren't competing for the same traffic, informational posts build domain authority that pulls the money pages up with them.
12Writing blog posts: 30 sources + the top 3 results
  • Before writing anything, scanning the top three currently-ranking pages for a keyword and extracting their winning pattern beats starting from a blank page.
  • Researching roughly 30 sources per post before writing is treated as the baseline for a page that's actually meant to rank, not just fill a content calendar.
13Content is king: why humor keeps readers on the page
  • Time-on-page is treated as a real ranking signal, so writing style (humor, personality) is a deliberate SEO lever, not just a brand choice.
  • Google is framed as a for-profit business that only wins long-term by keeping searchers satisfied, which is the actual reason content quality affects rankings.
14Service pages that turn visitors into leads
  • A page that ranks but doesn't convert visitors into a call or booking hasn't actually done its job, service pages are written for persuasion, not just traffic.
15SEO optimization: on-page, technical, AI Overviews, LLMs
  • A useful optimization score covers four separate categories at once: on-page SEO, technical performance, AI Overviews, and visibility inside LLMs like ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Running the same optimization command more than once is expected, not a failure, since fixes for different ranking factors can conflict with each other on the first pass.
17Publishing live: GitHub + Vercel (or WordPress)
  • A coded site (GitHub plus Vercel) and a WordPress site (via a connector like Novamira) are treated as two equally valid publish paths from the same underlying content and optimization work.
18Google Search Console + sitemap (don't skip this)
  • A site being published live doesn't mean Google knows it exists, submitting a sitemap through Google Search Console is the separate, easy-to-skip step that actually triggers indexing.
19Auditing an existing website (/audit)
  • A useful site audit doesn't stop at a score report, it re-applies fixes and re-scores in a loop until the number stops moving, closer to an implementation tool than a diagnostic one.
  • An audit is run page by page across an entire existing site, not just the one page someone happens to be worried about, including checks for duplicate 'doorway' pages.
Glossary

Terms worth knowing.

Money page
A page built to rank for transactional search intent, the kind of query where the searcher is ready to pay, as opposed to a blog post built for informational intent.
Keyword cluster
A group of related keywords targeted on a single page so that one piece of content can rank for several search terms at once instead of just one.
Keyword difficulty (KD)
A 0-100 score estimating how hard it is to rank on page one for a keyword given existing competition; lower numbers mean an easier opportunity.
Transactional intent
A search where the person is close to buying, like 'plumber Toronto', as opposed to an informational search like 'how much does a plumber cost'.
Doorway pages
Near-duplicate pages built mainly to capture search traffic rather than serve a distinct purpose; Google penalizes sites that have them.
AI Overviews
Google's AI-generated summary box shown above normal search results, which a page can be optimized to be cited or pulled into.
Map pack
The block of three local business listings with pins shown at the top of a local Google search, driven largely by Google Business Profile completeness and reviews.
Lighthouse score
A Google Chrome developer tool that grades a page on performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO on a 0-100 scale.
Sitemap
A file listing every page on a site, submitted to Google Search Console so Google knows what pages exist and can crawl and index them.
Novamira
A connector tool used to let Claude Code push generated pages directly into a WordPress site, as an alternative to a custom-coded GitHub-and-Vercel deploy.

This SEO agent that I'm going to give you for free is going to help solve six of the biggest problems that you have with ranking online. The first thing is, is that we're systematically going to find winning keywords that will get you results so that you can use those winning keywords to generate money pages and blog posts.
The money pages are going to be ranking for terms that people search into Google with the explicit intent of taking out their wallet and paying for your services while blog posts are going to help you generate exposure online. Now, if you don't already have a website already, we're going to be including a free website in this build to get.
you up and running very, very quickly. And as well, we're going to be optimizing every single one of these pages. So you have a near perfect score for performance and we're tying it all together with an SEO audit of your existing website, which will probably not be where exactly you want it to be.
And we're going to be bringing this up to a near perfect score across every single one of the pages on your site, as well as a site -wide performance with SEMrush. Okay. You can see the AI search health, the site performance and all the errors and warnings associated.
with it and within one prompt using cloud code we're going to bring this up to 100 across the board. Now, for those of you who do not know me, my name is Jono.
I've created two seven -figure businesses. The previous one I sold got 50 ,000 clicks every single month using SEO. And we generated around half a million dollars after I started tracking this kind of stuff using SEO.
And this is a follow -up to my previous video on YouTube, where I generated around 250 ,000 views, where we're going to be taking all of these lessons and condensing it into an SEO agent that you can plug and play pretty much in the next couple of minutes and start seeing results immediately. All right. Now, order to get started here all we have to do is go ahead and download the free blueprints which will be in the description of this video there will be a link to my free school community and once you click on that page just scroll down to the bottom and there's going to be another link over to github now once you click into that in order to grab the free blueprints just click this green code button copy the link and we're good to go now we just need to import these blueprints into cloud code and i'm going to give you a 15 second crash course in case you're brand new to the whole process of using cloud what you want to do is head over to google .com and type in vs code which is going to be the free software that we use to host cloud from within it's technically a coding editor which makes it sound a lot scarier than it actually is we're going to click on the first link download the application and once inside we can click clone get repository and paste that link into the top here okay and what this is doing is just copying my blueprints and storing them on your computer okay
Once these have been copied, it's going to prompt you to open up that repository. And where Claude comes into the picture is in the form of an extension or plugin that lives inside of VS Code. So I'll hit this icon here, the four boxes or squares, and you'll type in Claude code.
Okay. And the first extension is the one you're going to want to download. And once you have gone ahead and done so, you can open up Claude by hitting the icon here.
And for the rest of this video, we're going to be just communicating with Claude back and forth right now. over here. All right.
Now that we've gone ahead and download the repository, let's move on to the first step here, which is finding winning keywords. Now, what most people end up doing is they'll head over to Claude and ask a question like, can you help me find amazing keywords to rank blog posts in or whatever the case may be? And this is the exact thing you don't want to do because this is a losing strategy.
What happens is two years is going to go by. You're going to realize you chose the wrong keywords and you wasted all that time. You want to systematically find high converting keywords and you do that through a four -step process.
process part one is to cast a wide net and find a ton of keywords part two is to filter those keywords down only to the winning keywords that will actually get you results then you group those keywords together into something called a cluster if we take a look at a blog post here okay you don't just want to rank for one keyword you want to rank for like five keywords it five X's the chance of you succeeding like if you're throwing a basketball from the free throw line if you took one shot you may sink it but if you take five your chances are substantially higher.
So we want to set ourselves up for success by grouping keywords together. And then we're going to build out a priority list of what blog posts and pages we should build first. So in order to get started here, we need a tool to systematically find winning keywords.
And that tool is going to be SEMrush. You can sign up for a seven -day free trial if you head over to their website. I also have a 14 -day free trial in the description down below, which you may want to grab because oftentimes this keyword research takes more than seven days.
Once inside, of here all we need to do is create an account and that's it and then we can head over to cloud code and unfortunately my face is inconveniently blocking this but we need to head over to the settings section go to connectors over here and search for cloud or search for samrush okay this is going to connect cloud code into samrush so that we can automate all of this keyword research that otherwise probably would have taken a couple days to do manually by yourself okay and once we've gone ahead and done that we can head back into the repository and we can type in slash keyword research and ideally you just provide the exact like industry you're in like seo and google ads services so it can find keywords related to the business that you run i'm going to fire this off and i'm going to return back when this is done so we've gone ahead and generated our keyword list and the cool thing about this is that it actually orders the keywords in the priority that we should build the pages in okay so with a
First page to build is this local SEO services page. Second page is the Google Ads management services and so on and so forth. We're also creating this cluster of keywords or a group of keywords per page and it just scrolls down, right?
We've built out a lot of keywords. Let me show you how this filtering is working because this is where the magic actually happens over here. Behind the scenes, we're going into SEMrush's keyword magic tool and we're typing in a...
keyword like SEO in the country you're located in. And there's four filters we're adding on to this search to find winning keywords. Because at the current present time, if we just type in SEO, there's 103 ,000 different keywords that we can rank for.
The first thing is we want to have a volume of at least, let's say like 50 to 100 searches per month. Otherwise, you're going to be ranking for keywords nobody's looking for. The next one is keyword difficulty.
How much competition is there to rank for that particular keyword? ideally you want to have like let's say 30 or less meaning that there's not a lot of people actually trying to create content around that keyword and then we have intent next and there's two types of intent we're gonna be creating pages for we're gonna create blog posts for informational intent and then we're gonna create service pages or money pages for transactional intent so here's the idea if somebody asks an informational question like how much does a plumber cost they're looking for a blog post in return and when somebody asks asks for a transactional keyword like Toronto Plumber, they're looking to take out their wallet with the intent to purchase plumbing services.
So you're going to get back service pages in return. Okay. And so depending on the page type you want, you can filter based on that intent.
I'm going to move forward with transactional here. And the last thing is cost per click. And this only applies to transactional keywords, but essentially you want to find keywords that other people are spending money on because if there's competition, there's money to be made anytime somebody else is.
spending money on that particular keyword. So you can filter based on the cost per click, and you can even see the most competitive keywords by filtering for what people are actually spending money on. Which brings us to the next section here, which is when you're creating service pages for SEO content, you want to have a city service matrix.
So you create pages for every service in every city. So you create a Plumber Toronto page, Plumber Mississauga page, Plumber... Brampton page, Plumber Hamilton page, and then you move on to the next service, Water Heaters Toronto, Water Heaters Mississauga, and so on and so forth.
You get the point. This skill, okay, is going to build that out automatically for you, and it's going to do all of the keyword research. All right, so the next phase is building out the website, money pages, as well as blog posts, okay?
Now, we're going to use Cloud Code to build out this website, but you can also attach this skill into WordPress via a... plugin called Nova Mira. I have videos on my YouTube channel for free that you can watch to learn how you can connect cloud code into WordPress.
And you should also be able to connect cloud into Shopify, Webflow, and Duda. With the rest of these, you're probably not going to be able to automate most of the website building process because cloud can only automate things it has access to. And if it doesn't have access to a website builder, it's not going to be able to automate it.
So the first thing that we need to do is go ahead and generate. website and I've gone ahead and included this website template for you if you want to use this but you can also go ahead and build your own website from scratch or you can attach an existing website that you have and inside of the repository you can see this website right over here that is this website that you can build from the ground up and in order to get started here all we have to do is type in slash build website and ideally provide just a bit of context to Claude so it understands your business and can customize your website.
And in my paid community where you can get access via a seven day trial, I have additional skills like for example, the context layer where it literally scrapes your entire presence online and customizes the context on all the blog posts, service pages and all that kind of stuff, as well as how to structure your website in the most SEO optimized way.
In addition to another 16 skills you can implement immediately. I'm going to fire this off and return back when it's done. All right, so we are back.
and we've gone ahead and generated this beautiful website from the ground up the next phase is to generate blog posts and service pages on top of this website and i want to give you a quick understanding of why this actually matters you can think about a tide over here okay with boats on it the blog posts are the tide and your money pages are these boats the more high quality blog posts you have the higher the tide rises and the higher the tide rises the higher these boats rise as well and you can think about this like seo where your blog posts rank well for informational keywords, but these don't necessarily drive all your sales.
The main driver of leads and sales is your money pages over here. Okay. And so as your domain increases in authority, all of your money pages are going to start floating up through the rankings in Google as well.
So the more high quality pages you have that are heavily optimized with amazing content, content is king and it's the most important part. of this, and we're going to be talking about that later, the more you're going to do well with your money pages that actually bring in paying customers. So in order to write good blog posts, we have a five part process where first of all, Claude is going to go through all of your keywords and choose the next keyword to write on your priority list.
Okay. So because this is a service page, that's a service page, that's a service page, and this is a service page. We have the fifth keyword here as our next blog post, which is going to write about, it's going to do a tremendous amount of research.
Like we're talking about researching 30 articles online across the web for things like with different formats, with like articles and news and papers, podcasts, social media, you get the point. Even just like researching 30 articles yourself would probably take half a day to do. Then what we're going to do is we're going to scan the top three articles on Google for that particular keyword.
And here's the reason why there's a reason why this article came up first followed by this article and this article there's probably something generally speaking that they're doing right and we want to copy that winning formula and apply it to our own blog post and once we've gone ahead and extracted the winning formula from those three then we're going to go ahead and generate the blog post and we're going to add our own voice onto it so in order to get started here we're just going to type in slash okay blog post and it's going to go ahead and generate that for us i'm going to return back when this is done so we are officially back and Claude has gone ahead and written this entire blog post for us.
But the most important thing on this blog post is the way it is written because content equals king. I'm going to explain why and then I'm going to give you a passage in here so you understand what this actually looks like. The reality is, is that SEO is a black box and nobody actually knows what's going on with SEO.
There's over 200 indicators that Google uses to rank a page and you can spend all day like optimizing for every single indicator and then still never see the results you want if the content you write is bad. At the end of the day, Google is a for -profit business and they make money by serving ads, okay? And they can't serve ads to people that use Google, a bad experience and then go use ChatGPT for the rest of their lives.
Okay. So they want returning customers so they can surface more ads to them to make more money. And they only do that if the content is high quality.
So you win if you allow Google to win. And the easiest way to get good signals to Google for people to be happy is to write in a way where people actually want to stay on the page and they actually want to read the blog post. And for me, the easiest way to do that is through humor because humor connects everyone unless you're writing about like funeral homes or something like that and then you're probably not gonna want to do humor but you get the point so let me read this to you the map pack is the three businesses with pins the top of a local search like the kids who got picked first for dodgeball and it's where the 11 p .m.
searches land I was never one of those kids and I've made my peace with it mostly it's decided by three things you control how filled out your Google business profile is how many recent reviews you have and whether your website back up what the profile says nobody Google's plumbing for fun you will though Google yourself to admire the pin then do it again on your partner's phone to check Google wasn't being just polite we've all done it I did it this morning so it's funny it's engaging it keeps people on the page okay if you have people on the page they scroll down they spend a lot of time just on the regular signals to Google Google's gonna be happy and your content is gonna go through the rankings okay and once again the more high quality blog posts you have the better your service pages will do which brings us to the next section where we need to generate service pages and very similarly to before we're going to pull the service pages off of the keyword list here and go through them one by one and then we are going to scan the top three results on google to figure out what these guys are actually doing to rank high up on google copy the winning formula build the page and then we need to write
with persuasion so that we can turn web visitors people that are clicking onto our page into leads because at the end of the day you can't sell somebody that never becomes a lead your only goal here is for them to either book online or give you a call so in order to do this we're going to head back we're going to type in slash service page the more information cloud has on you the more customizable this will be and i'm going to return back when this is done so we are back and claude has gone ahead and built out that service page for us which looks really really nice And the only thing you'll wanna do is make sure to connect this form into your system so you can actually receive the leads.
And then next, you'll wanna make sure to create all of the service pages for every service you offer in the cities that you offer it within, okay? So that's effectively it. Moving on here, the next thing is, is that we need to actually optimize all of our pages and we optimize it in four different ways.
Number one is on -page SEO, telling Google who we are and what we do. OK, then there's technical SEO, which is effectively how fast is your page load and can Google actually access your page properly? And then there's AI overviews.
And we want to optimize to be discovered in this AI overview section over here. And then lastly, we want to be discovered in large language models like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and all of that kind of stuff. I'm not going to be going through everything here.
If you want more details, you can take a look at this master. class but effectively those are the four categories that we are going to be covering in this optimization score so in order to get started here all we have to do is head back to our cloud code terminal and type in seo optimization and we can put in the page we want to optimize for okay and we're going to return back when this is done So we're back and we've got Claude to optimize our page for all of these different areas, on -page technical AI overviews and large language models.
And we scored for technical SEO nearly a hundred on everything. Now, just as a tip here, it's usually not going to get a hundred percent score the first time you run it. Usually you have to run it a couple times and it will continuously improve every new instance you run the skill.
A lot of the times it's because when we're looking at optimizing a page, there could be hundreds of things that cloud has to do. Sometimes those things can conflict with each other.
So it just improves every single time you run it. And if you want to take a look at this lighthouse report, all you have to do is hit the three arrows at the top here, more tools, and then go to developer tools. Okay.
And then you'll hit these two arrows right over here and then click lighthouse over here and then run the report. And then you should be able to test the score that you get. Okay.
Moving on. The next thing is that we want to publish this website online so that it's not just stuck in a local host environment. In case you're unfamiliar with a local host environment, this is just a development server, okay?
This is not something that anyone else can access in the world. This is only something that you can access. And this is Cloud Code building your website based on static files here.
So it's literally taking these files and rendering it in Chrome. In order to get this... live so anyone can view it in the world, you have two options.
If you're building a custom coded site, you want to take that code from Cloud Code and you want to upload it to GitHub. You can think about this simply as Google Drive, but for storing code online. And then you want to deploy that site live through Vercel.
And you can think about this like WordPress, but for custom coded sites. Okay. And then alternatively, you can publish it through WordPress and you'd use a tool called Nova Mira to connect Cloud Code into your WordPress account.
So in order to get started here, all we have to do is hit slash publish, and this is going to take care of everything for us. Now I want to preface if you don't have a GitHub account already, or if you don't have a Versal account already, it's going to prompt you in this skill to actually go ahead and create your free accounts so that it can publish it online.
I'm going to return back when this has completed. So we are back and Claude has gone ahead and published our website live. We can take a look at it right over.
here on Vercel, everything is good to go. Now, here is the reality and the last step that you absolutely must do for SEO purposes. You can push a website live, but if Google doesn't know your site exists and it can't see it, it might as well not even be there.
And if Google can't see your site, then your page won't index on Google, which means you won't generate leads and you won't generate sales. So we need to fix that. And how we fix that is by by creating a Google Cloud Console account, okay?
I have a longer tutorial on how to set this up, okay, which I'll link to this video in the description of this one in case you wanna take a look at that, but just know that you have to set up an account in the Google Cloud Console and submit your sitemap, okay? By default, this optimization step should create a sitemap for you, which is just essentially a list of all your pages that you're submitting to Google so it can understand what pages you have.
and allow those pages to be indexed on Google so that you can rank, eventually get leads, which materializes into paying customers. Okay, awesome. Now, the last thing is, is that if you have an existing website or in a couple months from now, after you've built your website, you may want to audit it and fix any mistakes you have.
And I'm gonna link to another video where I go through this whole setup way more in depth, but essentially what will be... included in this GitHub repository is the ability to generate an audit of your website, which it will tell you the score before. And then after you complete the audit, it'll tell you the score afterwards.
Now, the cool thing about this skill is that it doesn't just hand you a report and say, okay, good luck. We'll see you later. It's actually going to implement those changes for you.
And it's going to report on every single page on your website, not just one. So you just run one word and it does the whole thing. And it will check on -page SEO, technical SEO, AI overviews across all your pages, doorway pages too, which is duplicate pages.
Google doesn't want duplicate pages. We're going to check for that, make sure every page is unique and distinct so you don't run into any errors here. And it will also give you some information on setting up a local google business and optimizing that as well now in order to run this all we have to do is head over to our cloud code instance and type in audit and we're going to go through the whole process of auditing every single page just like before it might not get everything perfect the first time you run it so you may have to run it multiple times to prove the pro performance across your entire website and the last thing is is that we covered around six or seven different uh commands or skills here and in my paid community i also have another i don't know i have 16 in total for month one and then there's more on the way for month two as well so if you found value in these kind of skills you can always sign up for a free trial and get access to a tremendous amount of additional skills to help optimize your website for seo so that it can materialize into either paying customers or sales on your e -commerce website in the meantime thank you very much for watching have a lovely day
and I'll see you in the next one. Bye -bye.
