Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Claude's Higgsfield MCP connector turns market research, video generation, and prompt-writing into one chat conversation, letting anyone build a sellable Instagram Reel template pack without filming a single clip.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • A creator or small-business owner who wants a low-effort digital product to sell on Etsy without filming their own face.
  • Someone already comfortable using Claude who wants to see how a new MCP connector for AI video generation actually works end to end.
  • A side-hustler looking for a done-for-you UGC-style template pack they could resell or customize for local business clients.
SKIP IF…
  • You're looking for a fully passive, zero-effort income stream. This still requires market research, careful prompt-writing, and direct outreach.
  • You want to build a SaaS app or a complicated tech product. This is about templated video content, not software.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

A creator walks through building and selling a done-for-you Instagram Reel template pack using Claude connected to Higgsfield's AI video MCP. She starts by reverse-engineering a bestselling Etsy listing with a Claude prompt that extracts the core problem it solves and surfaces ten underserved niches, then picks holiday content for small businesses as the gap. Inside Claude, she connects Higgsfield as a custom MCP connector and generates 10-second vertical UGC-style clips, hands only, camera drift, no face, using specific prompts so the output doesn't read as AI slop. The real cost runs $19-40 in Higgsfield credits plus a Claude subscription. She closes with three distribution channels that need no ad budget: Etsy listings, personalized cold-email samples to small businesses, and posting on Threads to build anticipation before selling.

01 · Cold open: the AI side hustle nobody's talking about

Names the new Claude MCP up front and reframes the promise: most side hustles fail because they chase a trend instead of a proven problem people already pay to fix.

02 · Finding the product idea on Etsy

Treats Etsy as free market-research data: a bestselling Instagram Reel template pack's five-star reviews show small businesses and creators paying to stay consistent on social media without filming themselves.

03 · Step 1: reverse-engineer the bestseller

Runs a Claude Chrome-extension prompt directly on the Etsy listing page to extract why it converts and generate ten underserved niche variations, then spots a gap: a holiday content pack for small businesses.

04 · Step 2: build the pack with Higgsfield MCP

Adds Higgsfield as a custom Claude connector so AI video generation happens inside the chat: describes a UGC-style Christmas-ornament and gift-wrapping clip in plain English and Claude fires the video model directly.

06 · The real cost

Walks the math: a $19-40 Higgsfield starter plan plus a Claude subscription to build the first pack, then the Etsy side of the cost, thumbnails, keywords, and design trends, which is the part that actually takes practice.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • Etsy reviews are free market research: if people are already paying for a product, the problem it solves is proven, not guessed at.
  • A Claude prompt that asks why a listing converts, what problem it solves, and who buys it can turn one Etsy listing into ten new underserved niche ideas.
  • The gap in a saturated market is usually a narrower niche inside the bigger idea, not a brand-new product category.
  • Two prompt details separate a UGC clip from obvious AI slop: writing 'camera drift' and explicitly including the word 'UGC'.
  • A faceless AI video clip sells as a template to any creator, while a clip with a specific face limits who can resell or reuse it.
  • Running an AI video tool through Claude's MCP connector removes the tab-switching: Claude picks the model, writes the technical prompt, and returns the finished clip in the same chat.
  • The full cost of building a first template pack runs $19-40: an AI video platform's starter plan plus a chat subscription, before any marketplace fees.
  • Etsy listing fees are about 20 cents to publish, making it close to free distribution, even though ranking still takes real design-trend and keyword work.
  • A personalized, watermarked sample sent directly to a specific small business converts better than a generic cold pitch because it proves the seller understands that business.
  • Threads is comparatively uncrowded for selling visual templates because the platform is still text-first, so a seller posting strong visuals stands out against mostly plain-text competitors.
  • Selling a monthly content pack instead of a one-time bundle turns a single sale into a recurring relationship.
  • None of the three distribution channels described, Etsy, cold email, or Threads, require an ad budget, a landing page, or a large following.

Turn a proven Etsy niche into a sellable AI product

WHAT TO LEARN

Real marketplace sales data, not guesswork, points to the niche worth building for, and a handful of specific prompt details are what keep an AI-generated video from reading as AI-generated.

02Finding the product idea on Etsy
  • Reading star reviews on a bestselling Etsy listing tells you the actual reason people buy, not the reason you assume they buy.
  • A niche product doesn't need to be a new idea; a saturated category like Instagram Reel templates still has room for a specific season or specific business type nobody has served yet.
  • Low-priced, simple listings can still sell well if they nail one narrow niche precisely.
03Step 1: reverse-engineer the bestseller
  • A single prompt run on a competitor's listing page can extract why it converts and generate ten adjacent niche ideas ranked by how underserved each one is.
  • The goal of studying a bestseller isn't to copy it; it's to find the same core problem showing up in a niche nobody else has targeted yet.
  • Letting real marketplace data suggest the next niche removes the guesswork of picking a product idea from scratch.
04Step 2: build the pack with Higgsfield MCP
  • Connecting a video-generation tool to a chat assistant as an MCP removes the tab-switching of prompting on one site, downloading, then returning to plan the next clip.
  • Describing a shot in plain English, lighting, props, camera movement, lets the assistant pick the model and write the technical prompt instead of the creator learning each tool's syntax.
  • A faceless, hands-only product clip is a business decision, not just a creative one: it stays usable as a resellable template for any buyer, where a specific face limits who can use it.
05How to make it not look like AI slop
  • Three prompt details separate a native-feeling UGC clip from an obvious AI clip: mentioning camera drift, writing the word 'UGC' explicitly, and leaving the face out.
  • Naming exact props, a gold glass ornament rather than 'holiday decoration', gives the model less to guess and produces a more realistic result.
  • Reference images communicate look and feel to an AI video tool even though the model itself can't be replicated exactly.
06The real cost
  • Building a first template pack costs roughly $19-40: an AI video platform's starter credits plus a chat subscription, before any marketplace fees.
  • Etsy listings cost about 20 cents to publish, which makes the platform close to free distribution for validating what people want.
  • The actual difficulty on Etsy isn't making the product, it's everything after: mockups, titles, keyword placement, and design trends, which takes real practice to learn.
07Step 3: bring your own traffic
  • A watermarked, personalized sample sent directly to a specific small business converts better than a generic pitch because it demonstrates the seller understands that business.
  • Offering a recurring monthly content pack instead of a one-time bundle turns a single sale into an ongoing relationship.
  • Threads is comparatively underused for selling visual templates because the platform is still text-first, so posts with strong visuals stand out more easily than on Instagram or TikTok.
  • None of the three distribution channels described, Etsy, cold email, or Threads, require an ad budget, a landing page, or a large following to start working.

metaphorstory
A new cloud MCP just dropped and it literally is changing how you create and sell digital products. Now I'm not talking about selling boring digital products, boring eBooks or PDFs or building a complicated SaaS app. I'm talking about a digital product that is highly profitable.
very easy to create and almost nobody is doing it the right way yet so in this video i'm going to show you what this product actually is how to install this mcp with cloud and how to use it to actually build something that you can sell because the truth is most side hustles they fell not because the idea was bad but because the idea was built on hype instead of an actual problem people will pay money to fix so what happens is that somebody sees a trend they copy it and then they slap a price tag on it and then they wonder well why is nobody buying this well the truth is is that if your product doesn't solve somebody's specific problem you're going to be wasting your time.
So here's what I did. I actually went to Etsy, which by the way, if you don't know, it's one of the biggest marketplace in the world for getting data on digital products that are actually selling because millions of people go there every month specifically to buy different types of digital products. And so the reason I like to go there first is because Etsy doesn't lie to you.
If something is actually selling on Etsy, that means real people are pulling out their credit cards and actually paying for it. So that is exactly why i always like to start there and by doing a quick search i found this template pack which is a best seller and if we look at the reviews folks seem to be excited about this product like got exactly what i wanted easy to edit so organized oh my god thank you i love this even folks saying amazing template bundle making my weekly posting creation and schedule so much easier and quicker, soft, beautiful images.
By reading these reviews is when I realized that content creators and small businesses alike, they struggle with staying consistent on social media. So these done for you Instagram real packs are a time saver for them. This is something that can help them stay on top of their social media marketing, which in turn helps them get clients.
Now I know what you're going to say next. Oh, but this is already saturated. But the truth is most sellers, they're building a pile of low quality AI slop videos and calling it a bundle.
So for this product to actually work, you need to understand what kind of business and creators are looking for this. And then what I recommend that you do is you create specific items that are IG real styled based on what the specific niche you're going after, right?
And have kind of that UGC element. So it looks more high -end and it doesn't look like cheap AI slop. This is how you're going to set yourself apart from all your competitors.
And so most people don't do that and they end up creating useless social media assets that nobody wants to use. I know that's really harsh, but it's the truth. I myself have seen folks inside my community make those exact same mistakes over and over again.
In this video, I'm going to share the exact step -by -step tools and AI prompts you can use to do this. So let's begin. Step one, reverse engineer the product.
Every digital product that sells started as somebody's problem. So your first job is finding the problem, not the actual product. For instance, small business owners and online businesses have a real problem right now in order for their businesses to be seen.
They need to be active on social media. more specifically they need to be active on instagram they need to post consistently but the reality is that most business owners they just don't have the time of the day to plan a shoot set up a camera film content every week or hire somebody to help them with this they're busy running their business and they simply don't have three hours on a tuesday afternoon to make ig reels so that's exactly where these instagram real templates come in they are done for you video templates that a business owner can customize in just a few minutes and then post without ever picking up their camera so that's not necessarily a trend it's a solution to a real problem that is simply not going away so before we build anything though we need to reverse engineer what's already selling and so here's what i like to do which might be a little different than everybody else I like to go straight to proven marketplaces and pull real sales data.
Now, you might be thinking, why not just come up with my own idea and run with it? Well, because places like Etsy tell us exactly what are people already buying. You don't have to guess.
The data is sitting right there in front of you. And look at who's actually buying these. It's small businesses, it's content creators, it's owners, it's regular people trying to be consistent online.
these are people who simply don't have the time to post and be on front of the camera they don't want to burn their whole week doing social media but they need to be active on social media and now look there's a cheaper example right here that a lot of people would completely scroll past this specific template pack it's priced very low and it doesn't even include video reels it's static templates literally but it's still selling now here's why Because there's a man for a specific niche inside this bigger idea, which is content for a specific season for a specific kind of business.
And that's the part that almost nobody's paying attention to. So there isn't just one niche here. There are dozens.
And you could build a real bundle specifically for, for instance, women -led small businesses. And you could build one for a completely different niche that nobody's touched yet. Okay, so also stick around because at the end of this video, I'm going to show you a method that will allow you to sell these without competing with any other sellers on Etsy.
But that's for later. So for now, I'm going to show you exactly how you can leverage Claude to reverse engineer these best sellers. So what I like to do is I like to use Claude's Chrome extension right on the product page.
And here's the exact prompt that I'm going to use. I'm looking at this Etsy listing. I want you to break down exactly why this is converting, what specific problem it's solving, and who's actually buying it.
and what convinced them to click at the cart instead of scrolling past it then based on that same core problem give me 10 other audience niches who have a version of this same problem ranked by how underserved they're currently are on etsy right now that's it so this is a part that separates people who make money from people who just make products without understanding what they're uploading so here you're not guessing what to build you're simply letting the market tell you what they're already buying And it helps you understand what to build next.
Now, all you need to do is analyze those 10 specific niches and try to find a gap by simply continuing to search on Etsy based on the data that Claude gave you. So for example, from the 10 niches that Claude gave me back, I found a gap. Content creators and small businesses prepping for their holidays campaign.
because let's face it for a lot of small businesses the holiday season is the single biggest earning opportunity for them this is like their biggest earning season all year and it seems like i'm not seeing a lot of done for you specific pack for the holiday season step two build the pack with heisfield so now we actually build it and this time i'm building the whole pack without ever leaving claude using Highfield MCP.
So for those who do not know, Highfield is an all -in -one AI video platform, and it has access to some of the best AI video models all in one place. including Seedance, Kling, and their own tools for creating realistic UGC style content. So think of it as your little video production studio that lives inside your browser.
But here's why this MCP part matters the most. It changes everything because normally you'd go to Highfield's website, type a prompt and wait for the video. Then download it and then go back to Claude and keep working and then trying to figure out as well which model you should use.
So back and forth for every single clip, trying to figure out what's the best way to generate this video. But with the MCP connected, Highsfield is going to live directly inside your Claude chat. You're going to describe what you want in plain English.
And then Claude is going to pick the right model. It's going to also help you write the technical prompts for you. And it's going to fire the video generation.
and then the finished video is going to come back in the exact same conversation inside cloud without you having to switch between one top to another so you don't need to upload anything or re -upload anything and most importantly you don't have to figure out which model to use or how to write a technical prompt because cloud is going to handle all of that for you so you're not just saving time you're removing every technical step between you and having an ig reel that is sitting in front of you like something that's ready to sell so now here's how you're going to set this up inside cloud which by the way i recommend that you have the cloud desktop version so make sure that first you download cloud to your desktop very important step so inside cloud you're going to go to settings you're going to scroll down under customize under connectors you're going to click add and you're going to add a custom connector then you're going to name it highfield and you're going to paste their mcp link and i'm going to leave that below in the comment section for you so you know exactly what to copy and paste then you're going to simply add and connect before you do that though make sure that you've signed in into your highfield account and you created a highfield account and that's it this will give you access to all of highfield's entire model library
And that's now going to live inside your cloud chat. Now here's what makes this different from just going to Highfield's website and trying a prompt yourself. When it's connected to cloud like this, you can simply describe what you want in normal, plain English and cloud is going to figure everything out for you.
And it's going to bring you the finished video straight back to the chat. Like I talked about earlier. So let's build our first clip.
What I want to build right now is a faceless holiday reel that. has this cozy UDC aesthetic, something that a content creator could use in their holiday campaigns. So we're not going to use a face.
We're simply going to use hands and action, which is exactly what's going to help this make sellable as a template, because any creator will be able to use it because it's not locked to a person's face. So we're going to start with this specific prompt using high field. And by the way, this is going to help Claude understand that we are using that MCP.
i'm gonna ask it to generate a 10 second vertical video and create a ugc look and feel video of a woman's hands carefully hanging a gold glass ornament on a christmas tree i want it to be in a bright love cafe with a ugc look with white brick blown out window lights golden cream tree and a knit sleeve at the wrist i want it to be close -up shots with a shallow depth of field and i want warm string lights softly blurred in the background natural window light from the left the camera is gonna drift slightly because i want it to feel like somebody's holding the iphone while they're putting the ornament on the tree so no face visible just hands ornaments and tree branches now i'm gonna to use different prompts as well to create different kinds of videos, right?
We could have a hot chocolate being made. So that could be another video that we create. So this is a prompt that I would use for this.
Now, sometimes it takes a minute to generate the video, but you simply have to be patient, but think about it. You are gaining so much time. doing it this way versus going back and forth between different tabs we could also do a gift wrapping video so using heist field we're going to generate a ugc look and feel video that's 10 second we're going to do vertical video because that's the format for ig reels we're going to have a close -up of the hand wrapping a small box in brawn craft paper tying it in a red velvet ribbon The table has scattered items like pine cuttings, a pair of gold scissors and a roll of tape, soft natural light from a nearby window.
And the camera slowly pushes in with a slight handheld shake. So no face, just hands and the wrapping process, right? With a cozy editorial feel.
By the way, another thing worth noting is that you can actually grab inspiration from pinterest obviously what that's going to help high's field do and claude is understand the look and feel that you're looking for here we are prompting everything but you can literally take a photo obviously it's not going to replicate the model because it cannot do that but it's going to take the photo to understand the look and feel you're looking for so that's another thing you could do is uploading a photo and telling high's field that you're looking to create something within that tonality aesthetic etc so now you get the gist of it right and here are three things that i want you to notice about the prompts that we are creating because this is the difference between a clip that looks like ai slop and a clip that looks like somebody's actually filmed it on their phone first having a camera drift right and making it feel like somebody's holding the iphone and also the ugc look and feel so these two lines right there are everything because without those two line the ai video is going to default to having a perfectly still locked studio
camera look and feel and it's just going to look too perfect and real udc is usually shaky and it moves right it's not perfect then i said udc because when you don't say udc it doesn't look instagram ish if you will it looks very ai -ish so also having udc and your prompt makes all the difference and then the third thing is no face visible so this is not a creative choice it's a business decision because a faceless clip works as a template for any creator i'm not saying you should only do faceless you can also try to have faceless ig rails you can see on instagram there's plenty of model ai ig rails so you could have a collection with one specific face or multiple faces i mean the reality of it is is that the moment that you put a specific face in it you're kind of cutting your ability to sell it but it's worth testing and see what works for you the other thing i did is that i added specific props so you noticed i said gold glass ornament string lights like i didn't say holiday decoration i said exactly what i wanted the more specific you are and also adding image reference makes all the difference because the more realistic the output is going to be because if you're going to give a model something that's not concrete it's going to also have to decide for you what it should render
So instead of letting it guess, I recommend that you tell it exactly what you want and be as specific as possible. All right. So look at all these different videos that are generated for us all inside the conversation.
This is amazing. and so by the way if you want to try this yourself the link to heist fields is in the description you're gonna get access to the free startup pack credit when you sign up so you can test all of this before you spend even a dollar and now that you know how to create these videos and you see how simple it is you can create a bunch of these videos and by the way if you want what you can do next as well is instead of simply having it as an ig reel you can create actually a full social media bundle which includes carousel post static post story post typography post the list goes on and so what you're going to do for those is you're going to bring those video assets into canva and build an entire bundle from there so you want to make sure that everything looks cohesive and it's like an actual branded pack not just five random tools like stitched together where it shows you barely put any time into this so listen i'm sure a lot of this feels like a lot right now but listen no one said making money online was a vacation it's simple but it still takes effort and if you're dreaming of just like sipping wine in europe from this well you need to put in the actual work and you need to work smart before you work hard because let's face it with ai
the process is much faster and we can have as many outputs as we want right but fast doesn't mean effortless like you need to be the creative director if you will right so you need to know exactly what it is you're going to sell and how you're going to brand it so the actual busy work is done but you still have to put in the initial work of doing the market research understanding what people are looking for brand it in a way that people actually want to buy the bundle so now that i've given you the reality check if you will let me show you why this is a great side hustle so here's something that nobody actually walks you through and it's a reason a lot of people talk themselves out of this before they even try it they assume that the fees and the costs are gonna eat them alive but they're not let's actually do the math together so the high school starter pack is about 19 a month and that's going to give you around 200 credits so with that you're going to be able to build multiple packs especially if you batch it all in one sitting so that's going to be your real cost of making your first pack it's going to be anywhere between 19 to 40 because you're also going to want to have a cloud subscription on top of it too and then there's another part that trips people up it's the etsy fees so let's break that down and listen this is something i would know because
I spent five years selling on Etsy. So most people think the hard part is making the product. It's not as much because as you can see, creating the product is easy.
The hard part is everything that happens between having something that is nicely branded and actually hitting published. So first on Etsy, you need to make sure that your listing has a good product mock -up, like something that stands out from your competition. Because on Etsy, your thumbnail is your storefront.
This is how people discover you. And when a buyer is crawling through a search page where they're seeing a lot of different IG real template packs, well, they can all look the same. So you need to make sure that you find a way to differentiate yourself from everybody else out there.
And as a beginner, this is actually the hard part. This is what might trip you up and it takes practice. So Know that you need to have good thumbnails and you need to make sure that you find ways to differentiate yourself from your competitors.
And then you need to understand what are all the different mechanics to actually drive views to your listings, right? So it's not just keywords, but it's understanding what people are searching for. And again, how to differentiate yourself based on design trends.
So I wish I could tell you just upload the thing and sales are going to start rolling in. but that's actually not how etsy works you need to be conscientious of tags of design trends how to write your title how to write your description where to place your keywords how to have good mock -ups what to include in your design mock -ups like it's a science in itself and it does take time to learn so does this mean you should not list on etsy no absolutely not as a beginner you definitely should list it because it's literally free distribution it's gonna cost you 20 cents to upload the listing and it's gonna help you validate what people want so you know what to build more right but you're obviously gonna have to upload quantity to see what's gonna work because uploading a listing and waiting if that is your entire plan you're gonna be waiting a long time right so it's not just upload a listing and like oh please let's have a cell you're gonna have to upload multiple listing so this is what I'm gonna show you another method that you can use to bring traffic and I've actually never shared this before so here's what you can actually do instead of waiting on Etsy
you can actually go directly to business owners who need this so there's two ways first is by sending cold emails yes i said cool emails but you'd be surprised a lot of businesses actually do that so you're going to email small business owners and creators directly not folks with millions of followers by the way the one who have just like a few thousand followers who are already grinding content day in and out and maybe they need some holiday posting right so send them an actual sample of what you built add a water mark so they can see what you're offering but without them being able to use it right instead they would have to pay you to get access to it and please for the love of god don't send them the same generic sample make sure that it's specific to them that it feels personalized so yeah absolutely like build one custom sample per niche using the exact process that i just showed you and make sure that it's personalized enough that it looks like you made it just for them because the more personalized it is the more likely they are to purchase it from you because they're like oh this person really understands my business so what you're doing then instead of pointing them to your 12 etsy listing you kind of offer them the full pack directly or better you could even offer them a monthly content pack so this way it's not just a one -time 12 sell it's a relationship that pays you every month
now you can also email them directly with a sample built again specifically for them and there like there's no competition with other listings so yes you need to know exactly what to write to them right but in this case it's just you and if they like what you made and it's personalized enough well chances are they're gonna say yes now there's another method that i absolutely love and i'm actually surprised a lot of people don't use that it's threads and i have a specific example of a creator who did this like look at this account she's literally selling her templates directly on threads she's posting samples showing exactly what the template does like look at all these animated templates that she created and so what she's doing is that she's building anticipation and then converting followers into buyers right there by having them comment and dming her so here's why threads work so well for this right now it's massively underutilized and it's not as competitive as instagram like most creators and sellers are still fighting for attention on instagram and tick tock these are platforms are super competitive and the algorithm will bury you unless you know how to grab attention
thread is still early you still have access to great organic reach it's text driven as you can see she's differentiating herself because she's got visual elements so it's much easier to rank compared to everywhere else so you can simply post a sample of your holiday real pack and then build some anticipation and the right people will actually see it and listen you don't need to have 50 000 followers for that to happen and for you to start selling.
So you can still have Etsy as your storefront. It's there, it's passive and it validates your product. You can also have email for direct personalized outreach to specific business owners who need it.
And then you have threads for building an audience that actually sees your work without you paying for ads and without having you show your face on social media. So that's three specific channels and none of those require you to have a complicated funnel, a landing page, or ad budgets.
Just put in the work and have the willingness to put this in front of people. All right. So I'll be honest with you.
Like, yes, this is a video driving you to an affiliate link, but the version that I'm sharing with you today actually works. I'm not just benefiting from you knowing about it because I'm telling you the version that actually works. I've coached plenty of folks on etsy and other platforms to know what works and what doesn't work because i've watched too many people build pretty products and then they skipped a step that actually pays or they upload something on etsy and they're like oh etsy doesn't work without truly understanding why they're not getting sales so now you know that you have other options you also understand that uploading a digital product on etsy is not just upload it and that's it the cells are just gonna come in there's a whole process behind it personally i love threads and i've repeated this multiple times throughout my channel so if you're serious about using threads to actually drive consistent traffic to your digital products i actually made a full video breaking down exactly how to do that just click this video right here alright guys i'll see you in the next one and most importantly let me know how your ig templates come out alright guys i'll see you in the next one bye

Etsy reverse-engineering prompt

A Claude Chrome-extension prompt run directly on an Etsy listing page that extracts why the listing converts, the problem it solves, and who buys it, then generates ten underserved niche variations of the same core problem.

Three UGC prompt rules

  1. Camera drift, to mimic someone holding an iPhone
  2. Explicitly write 'UGC' into the prompt
  3. No face visible

Three specific instructions added to every AI video prompt that keep the output from defaulting to a stiff, obviously-AI studio shot.
