Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Video ideas built from proof you already have, a large volume of attempts, a measurable result, a sustained habit, or unique access, build viewer trust faster than generic advice content, and trust is what turns views into leads.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • A business owner or coach who posts YouTube content but struggles to convert viewers into leads or sales.
  • A content strategist who wants a repeatable system for video ideas instead of starting from a blank page each week.
  • Someone with real results, experience, or a track record who hasn't figured out how to package it into content.
SKIP IF…
  • You're brand new to your niche with no results, client work, or personal history yet to build these formats from.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

Video ideas that build trust and sales fall into eight repeatable templates, each built from something already in hand: a large volume of attempts, a measurable result, a sustained habit, outside experience, years of practice, unique access, money or time invested, or a result reached in a short window. Each template works by compressing real proof into a title, which earns both views and the credibility needed before anyone buys. Examples range across niches, landing-page audits, fitness transformations, marketing retrospectives, behind-the-scenes access, all built the same way. The actionable move is to inventory what you've already done across these eight categories and turn the strongest ones into titles.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • A video that compresses a large sample size into one title, like studying 1,000 landing pages, builds more trust than a video with no stated volume behind it.
  • Viewers need two things before they buy: traffic, so they know you exist, and trust, so they believe what you say.
  • A results-breakdown title built on a real, specific number outperforms vague success claims because specificity reads as proof.
  • A single 100-day habit video took a 40,000-subscriber channel past a million views within weeks, because sustained consistency reads as credibility on its own.
  • A short commitment, like replacing social media for one week, can carry a video as well as a multi-year habit if it's documented and talked about.
  • Condensing years of experience into a short video works because it saves the viewer the time they'd otherwise spend learning the same thing firsthand.
  • Stating the number of years behind an insight makes the shortcut feel earned instead of arbitrary.
  • Access to a person, place, or number most viewers can't reach is its own content category, independent of results achieved or time invested.
  • A high dollar figure in a title converts because it signals both the value delivered and the money the viewer gets to skip spending.
  • Documenting something done unusually fast works because speed itself becomes the hook, independent of how impressive the end result is.
  • A title format can be copied into any niche even when the specific proof behind it can't, the structure travels, not the content.
Takeaway

Eight ways to turn proof into video ideas

VIDEO IDEA TEMPLATES

Every one of these eight video formats turns something you've already done, whether it's volume, results, time, or access, into proof that earns trust before you ever ask for a sale.

02Volume Advantage
  • Pick something you've done a large volume of: landing pages reviewed, offers studied, tools tested, and build the title around the count.
  • A number alone isn't enough; pair it with a "did X, here's what works" structure so the volume turns into a usable conclusion for the viewer.
03Results Breakdown
  • Build the title around a specific result you genuinely achieved, then use the video to explain the process that produced it.
  • Specific dollar or scale numbers in the title work better than vague success claims because specificity reads as proof.
  • The result in the title needs to match the audience you're trying to attract, not just be impressive on its own.
04Consistency Experiment
  • Document what changed after sticking to one habit over time, whether that's 100 days of a challenge or six years of practice.
  • The commitment doesn't need to be extreme: replacing one habit for a single week can work as well as a multi-year routine if it's documented.
  • Pick something you're already doing for your business and turn the documentation itself into the video, so it isn't extra work.
05Experience Recap
  • Condense an education, job, or season of life into a short video that shares what you learned firsthand.
  • The experience doesn't need to be prestigious; a unique personal chapter qualifies if it's genuinely yours to tell.
06Years Compressed
  • State the number of years of practice behind a lesson directly in the title, it makes the shortcut feel earned instead of arbitrary.
  • The years figure does the same job as a results number: it signals the time investment the viewer gets to skip.
07Access Advantage
  • Look for unique places, people, or conversations you've had access to that most viewers haven't, and build the video around showing it.
  • The access doesn't have to be glamorous; a specific dollar figure of spend or a behind-the-scenes process both qualify.
08Investment Advantage
  • Turn money or time you've spent into a title: what you paid a consultant, what a course cost, what you spent testing something.
  • A high number in an investment title does double duty: it draws attention and signals the viewer is about to save that same money by watching.
09Quick Advantage
  • Document something done in an unusually short amount of time and let the speed itself be the hook.
  • If you haven't done it yet, do it first and then document it; a speed-based video needs the fast result to be real.

These video ideas I'm going to share with you are the same video ideas that helped me get some of the most popular videos on Think Media's channel, as well as Cole Gordon's channel that I am his current YouTube strategist. And also this channel, some of the top performing videos. Literally when we started this channel, we were at 40 ,000 or we had 60 ,000 subscribers.
Four months later, we jumped all the way up to 400 ,000 subscribers. And I'm going to share with you some of the video ideas that you can literally copy, not only to get more views, but to also grow your business.
Now there's two important things that you need traffic, right? No one knows who you are. No one can buy from you.
But the second thing you need, if you want to get leads and sales is trust. And so these video ideas are built in to give you credibility and get you more views. So if you're as excited as I am.
Let's get into number one. The first one is the volume advantage. So think about something that you've done a ton of.
For example, this video did really, really well. I studied a thousand landing pages. Here's what works in 2026.
Well, I took the same concept and inspiration from this channel to build out this video for Cole. Entitle it after studying 3000 plus offers. This is how to build a $10 million offer.
And this video did extremely well for us. You can also just think that if you've tried a ton of things, uh, this OBS is a software where you can like, this is what I'm just using my screen record on. And so it's like, I've tried a hundred plus OBS plugins.
These are the only ones I use. Credibility is literally baked in and not only will that build more trust, but it'll help you get more views because I trust. watching this video that it's going to be valuable because she's tried so many things.
So just think about what you could actually do and start writing down different ideas for all eight of these and you'll have a ton of video ideas by the end of this video. Another one from Ryan, coach of thousands of business owners. Here's what I've learned.
So you're just condensing the learnings of the volume of the thing that you've done. Whether you've read so many books or you've tried so many tools, you've studied X, Y, Z, watched, bought. etc.
You get the idea. Now, if you want 100 more free YouTube video ideas that are based off 20 proven title templates, all you got to do is go over to the Content Academy free school group, join. It's for free.
And then inside here, you can go to 100 video ideas. And there is actually connected to a GPT, but also you can just snag all of these. You're going to get a ton of good video ideas.
And so go check that out if you want more fresh video. ideas, but we'll jump into number two. This one's really, really good.
This is a results breakdown. So think about something you've done that has been, uh, you've had a great result. Now, this doesn't have to just be for you.
For example, seven lessons after making $700 ,000 at the YouTube funnel. This is a video that I did just literally thinking like, what is And also one other thing, make sure it actually attracts your, the person you're trying to attract.
So make sure it fits your niche. It's attracting the right kind of avatar you're looking for. But assuming you're doing that, just think of like, even going back up to this video, one of the reasons it works so well is.
We have other videos actually on Cole's channel where we've talked about 30 million, how he's made 30 million dollars or even right here, how Ryan Dice runs a 200 million dollar a year portfolio company. A lot of the reason why that works is because we're using real results. And so just like write those down and think about what results you've gotten.
Here's just in like the fitness niche in a different title format, too. You can just see how. You don't have to copy these word for word.
Like here's a completely different format. If I had to lose 140 pounds again, here's exactly what I would do. And so what have you done relative to your niche and who you're trying to reach and how can you use that?
Whether it's something you did for yourself or it's something that you've done for a client of yours, a student of yours, et cetera. Those are going to be some great videos for you. The third one is the consistency experiment.
So shares what happened after repeating a single habit over a long period of time. This video was the very first video we did for her channel and at the time had 40 ,000 subscribers and we blew through a million views, I think within a few weeks, which was insane. And it's because I focused on something that she's done.
That has been consistent and impressive over a long period of time. She's squatted. She's actually done these squats for over six years, but a hundred days just felt more relatable to the audience, which is why I used it.
And it clearly worked, but like squatting for a hundred days that there's a consistency there and people want to know what happened to your body. Did it make you move better? Did it increase whatever?
Here's another example. It doesn't have to be as extreme as doing something for 100 days or for six years. I posted 14 videos in 14 days.
Here's what happened to my business. And you can just literally document what you've done. If you've done something every single day, do it every day and then talk about it on YouTube and it can do well.
One more example, just different niche, replacing social media with my Bible for a week. And here's what I learned. This video is a 2 .6x outlier, but also...
only for like, this was only for a week. So you could do something literally for seven days and then just talk about it on YouTube. And if it's something you're going to do for your business anyways, maybe you're like, I'm going to increase my, I'm going to double my ad budget for ads for seven days.
Cool. Make a video about that because that could absolutely crush. And so be thinking about things you're already going to do and then turn that into content.
That way it's not like extra work for you. Number four. The experience, this should say four, but you get the idea.
The experience recap. So here's a great example. Everything I learned in film school in under three minutes.
You can see where the value is. They're condensing all this experience and giving it to you in a short period of time. Everything I've learned working with Alex Hermosi.
If you have experience like working with someone, if you have experience going to something, getting training in something, and not only that, even if it's just a season of life, lessons I learned from my 20s, this is an experience recap of someone who's... Just experience their 20s and they're sharing their perspective.
And so this works no matter even if you don't have something crazy, like you didn't go to school, you didn't do this or that. If you've just gone through something like people have videos where they talk about how they went through a divorce or how they just got married young, like just be thinking of unique experiences that you may have.
And again, if it fits your niche, attracts the right kind of crowd that you're looking for your business, make a video on it. Talk about it. Whether it just happened or it happened a long time ago, make a video.
That could be a great video that is very unique to you and going to build credibility for you. Years compressed. This is a great one.
So I worked for REI for 12 years. Here's the REI gear you should buy. This one kind of ties in with experience, but the difference is what makes it even better is the years aspect of it.
So instead of being like everything I learned working with Alex Hermosi, it's like, no, 12 years. Imagine if it's like I worked with Alex Hermosi for 10 years. Here's what I learned.
That would be a better position title. And so if you've done something for a long time, time.
For example, maybe you've been in marketing for 30 years. This video did well for Simon. We've seen so many people copy this video and it's like, you know, for me, I could do 10 years of YouTube knowledge in 10 minutes.
You know, it could be whatever. Think about something you've just done for a long time. Uh, we have a student in my program in the content Academy who he's been a therapist for 20 years.
It's like, use that in your title. We also have, um, I mean, where would that fit?
That could fit over here in years compressed. But one of our students who has absolutely crushed it since joining the program, she went from. 3000 subscribers and she has now reached over 162 ,000 subscribers.
But one of the things that worked really on for her so well was using X Google recruiter. So that one definitely fits in, um, maybe not under years compressed, but like experiences recap. So I should have shared that here.
Cause that is such a good one. Um, but what she could do is be like 10 years as a Google recruiter. Here's what I've learned.
And so adding that years element to it, if you have that can make it really unique and even extra credible, more valuable, et cetera. Number six, access advantage. So think about unique.
places, people, relationships, conversations, things that you have that other people don't have. How I shoot NBA games. That's an interesting behind the scenes look.
It could be access to like Cole Gordon has access to Sam Ovens. He was one of the first investors in school. And so we actually got to fly out to the school headquarters.
I filmed this and it was really cool to be there. And it's like not a lot of people get a behind the scenes two hour conversation with Sam Ovens, but Cole did. And that video is doing really well.
because it's the access advantage that he has. Another one is, this one's very interesting. So Ryan Clogg, love his YouTube channel.
He's been on Cole's podcast as well. And like he has access to a $3 million a month ad spend, like they spend $3 million a month and he has access to behind the scenes what that looks like. So just be thinking, what's unique?
What do you have access to that you could talk about? Number. Seven, the investment advantage.
So when Cole did this, I instantly told him, I was like, bro, you got to make a video talking about how you've spent this money and what you learned. And we actually had a separate video that I might've even got more views. I just screenshot the first one that popped up, but he just made a video talking about that.
This is a clip from the podcast. And it did so well. And it's because it's a high number, which is going to do well on YouTube.
But then it feels valuable to the viewer. It's like if you paid all this money, if you spent five million on business gurus, like I want to know what you've learned. You're saving me time and you're saving me money so I can learn the things that you've learned.
Super valuable. You could also do this with marketing advice in 63 minutes instead of using 10 years. Maybe you've spent a certain amount going to.
to college. And you're like, however, you could add up all the amount of money you spent going to college. And then you could be like, you know, a hundred thousand dollars worth of business advice in 60, 30 minutes.
And you maybe went to business school. Like that could be a good title. Another one is like, it doesn't have to be just investing money or it could be investment of time.
So I watched every James Hoffman video. He's a coffee. uh, guy, coffee guy, here's what I learned.
Like just investing the time to watch every single video is, is interesting. And lastly, we have the quick advantage. So this probably will work the best because people love fast stuff.
They want to get to a thousand subscribers as fast as possible. So when I made this video, well, first I had to do it and I did it on my faceless basketball channel. And then I talked about it.
And so, of course, that's going to do well. You could also just think about what's something you could. Even if you haven't done something in a short amount of time, what's something that you can document doing in a short amount of time?
So this one is more so an example of what he did in a short amount of time. His app made a hundred in retrospect, he could make that video, but I made this video that got 800 ,000 views, just documenting me doing something in a short amount of time. Most people take hours or at least an hour to make a YouTube thumbnail.
And I did it in five minutes live, like literally. unedited, just did it and it got 800 ,000 views. Uh, day I did, she created and sold the digital product in 10 hours and just documented it.
And so it doesn't have to be something necessarily you've done, but something you could document and do in a short amount of time. I hope you have your next YouTube video idea. And I would love if you wanted to join the content Academy for your group.
If you're a business owner looking to get sales on YouTube. Join this group. We now have 200.
I just realized we have 200 members, which is amazing. But in here, I've deleted my Instagram. I don't have anything else other than YouTube in school.
So if you want to get a hold of me, I check my DMs and you can DM me on school and I will chat to you inside the group. There's a lot of cool people in there posting cool stuff. We're doing calls.
We're doing all that stuff. So I'll see you over there or I'll see you in the next video. You can click on the screen.
Peace out, everybody. Bye.
