Big Idea

The argument in one line.

Once an agent has a library of reusable visual styles and the native editing apps under its control, editing a video collapses to a few typed prompts and your real job becomes giving taste and notes.

Who This Is For

Read if. Skip if.

READ IF YOU ARE…
  • You already use Claude Code or Codex for work and record talking-head videos you dread editing.
  • You own DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or Blender and want to see an agent actually drive them rather than a browser toy.
  • You batch-record several reels in one take and want one prompt to split, cut and style all of them.
  • You have tried AI editing before, found the output cheap, and want to see what a styles-plus-signatures system changes.
SKIP IF…
  • You want a step-by-step install guide. This is a narrated live run of a paid system, not a setup tutorial.
  • You edit in CapCut or on a phone. The whole workflow assumes desktop pro apps with MCP access.
  • You are looking for a finished, polished final reel. The first render has a hook he dislikes and he says so.
TL;DR

The full version, fast.

The video argues that editing stops being a time cost once an agent controls your real editing apps and has a library of styles it already knows how to reproduce. The mechanism is a system built inside Claude Code that transcribes the raw take, picks the best lines, color grades in DaVinci Resolve with a saved PowerGrade, builds motion graphics in After Effects or Blender from named library styles, renders, inspects its own frames, re-renders anything blurry, then adds ElevenLabs sound effects back in Resolve. The practical conclusions: brief it the way you would brief a person sitting next to you, give notes on the first render instead of fixing the timeline, and turn any edit you love into a named signature so the next video is one sentence. Two versions took 1h35m of machine time against 1h25m for one, so batching barely adds time.

Chapters

Where the time goes.

00:00 – 00:38

01 · Disclaimer: 40 minutes of explaining, 5 of work

Why the runtime is long: he normally throws the whole brief at the agent at once. Here he goes step by step and promises an automation note at the end.

00:38 – 02:30

02 · The raw footage: two versions in one take

One 16:9 recording holds two deliveries, split by when he puts his headset on. The plan is to ask for two separately styled reels, never a blend.

02:30 – 04:05

03 · Picking styles, and why he grades first

Scrolls the style library for transitions, a talking-head layout and an Apple notification overlay. His order is always Resolve grade with his own PowerGrade, then After Effects.

04:05 – 09:22

04 · The brief: messy by design

Dictates a rambling prompt naming six library styles, changes his mind twice, then asks for two cuts (one maximal, one less-is-more), rough cut, grade, render and sound design with no review step.

09:22 – 10:58

05 · Turn it into a signature

The better habit: bundle the styles you like into a named signature so the next edit is one line. Expect the first run of any new combination to miss your mental picture slightly.

10:58 – 13:36

06 · While it works: transcription, planning, Resolve

Switches transcription to AssemblyAI, explains bypass permissions versus planning mode, and shows the agent cutting inside Resolve and reading PNG frames of its own work.

13:36 – 15:57

07 · A color grade from Pinterest, and which model

Paste a reference frame, describe the bloom, get a node. Mentions delegating each video to its own sub-agent and recommends Opus 5.5 for creativity.

15:57 – 20:08

08 · Watch it or trust it

Plays the rough cut, blames his own low energy rather than the edit, explains he normally uses only Resolve plus After Effects, renders across a Mac and a home Windows server, and hits a full SSD.

20:08 – 22:50

09 · First render done: what Pocket Creative Director is

Back from leaving for a wedding. The agent is quality-checking its render in a grid. He frames the product as a year of figuring out what to tell the model, and says you can build your own with the free MCP servers.

22:50 – 28:19

10 · Watching the first render, then notes

Plays version A. Verdict: good edit, bad hook because a template style covered his face as B-roll instead of an overlay. Wants face tracking, stretched logos, more glow on one animation.

28:19 – 31:22

11 · Pixel perfect: the re-render

The agent re-renders on its own because a title was blurry. He prompts the fixes (no B-roll over the intro, face tracking, ElevenLabs sound design in Resolve, focus on render A) and argues why the perfectionism is worth it.

31:22 – 33:05

12 · The day after: how long it took

Asks the agent for its own timing. Version A alone 1h25m, A plus B 1h35m. Most of that is footage analysis and quality checks, so a 30-video batch does not scale linearly.

33:05 – 37:57

13 · The sound design version, inside Resolve

Plays the sound-designed reel, notes the fisheye hook came from his poor wording, opens version A in Resolve by prompt, and walks the stacked Fairlight tracks of ElevenLabs effects.

37:57 – 40:45

14 · Posting, the normal one-liner, and what's next

Posting runs through a scheduler and a DM keyword. His usual prompt is one sentence: edit in this signature, do sound and music, show me the result. Remotion works but loses motion blur; Blender MCP is his pick for B-roll graphics.

Atomic Insights

Lines worth screenshotting.

  • A 40-minute editing session can contain about five minutes of human work when everything else is an agent running your apps.
  • Brief an editing agent the way you would brief a person sitting next to you: say what you like, what you don't, and let it fill the gaps.
  • Record two or three versions of a reel in one take and ask for two separately styled cuts instead of one blended edit.
  • Turn any edit you are happy with into a named signature so the next video needs one sentence, not a paragraph of style notes.
  • Styles come from Pinterest screenshots: paste the reference, describe the bloom or the motion, and the agent builds the node or comp.
  • Rendering one version took 1h25m and rendering two took 1h35m, so a batch of 30 videos does not cost 30 times the wait.
  • Most of the machine time is self-inspection: the agent reads PNGs of its own render after every pass to catch blurry text.
  • Tell the agent when it does not need to be pixel perfect, or it will keep re-rendering until it is.
  • The first render's weakest part was the hook, because a style built as B-roll was never told to behave as an overlay.
  • A full SSD will silently stall an unattended render loop, so clear storage before you leave the machine alone.
  • Remotion can replace the pro apps, but you lose motion blur and the pacing details that separate premium edits from AI slop.
  • Early on, vibe editing took longer than editing by hand because every dislike became a conversation instead of a click.
  • Your energy on camera is the one thing the pipeline cannot fix, so the human in the loop is the recording, not the edit.
  • Delegate each video to its own sub-agent when you have several in one recording and a machine that can handle it.
  • Grade first in Resolve with your own PowerGrade so every style layered on top already carries your look.
Takeaway

Taste is the job, the timeline is not.

WHAT TO LEARN

When an agent runs your real editing apps and knows your saved styles, your work shrinks to a brief, a round of notes, and the decision to save the result as a signature.

01Disclaimer: 40 minutes of explaining, 5 of work
  • Narrated runtime and working time are different numbers; the five minutes are the prompts, the rest is machine time you can walk away from.
02The raw footage: two versions in one take
  • Record two or three deliveries in one take, mark the break with a visible cue, and ask for separately styled cuts rather than one merged edit.
03Picking styles, and why he grades first
  • Keep a browsable library of individually built styles with previews so you can brief by name instead of describing animations from scratch.
  • Grade first with a saved PowerGrade so every graphic layered on afterward already sits inside your look.
04The brief: messy by design
  • A messy spoken brief works if it names styles, states a mood for each version, and ends with explicit permission to run without review.
  • Say which styles are for memorable lines and which are for B-roll, because the agent will otherwise place them wherever they fit.
05Turn it into a signature
  • Bundle a finished edit's styles into a named signature so the next brief is one sentence and the look stays consistent across videos.
  • Expect the first run of any new style combination to miss your mental image slightly, then give notes rather than re-briefing.
06While it works: transcription, planning, Resolve
  • Planning mode costs time up front but prevents a long unattended run from heading the wrong way; bypass permissions is the speed setting.
  • Self-inspection is the quality lever: the agent reads PNG frames of its own cut and grade before it reports progress.
07A color grade from Pinterest, and which model
  • A color grade can start from a Pinterest frame plus one sentence about what the reference does, such as the bloom or the cold cast.
  • With several videos in one recording and enough hardware, hand each video to its own sub-agent under one coordinating agent.
08Watch it or trust it
  • Watch the rough cut for your own delivery, not the edit; low on-camera energy is the one thing the pipeline cannot repair.
  • Clear disk space before an unattended run; a full SSD stalled the job and the agent could only wait.
09First render done: what Pocket Creative Director is
  • After each render the agent inspects a frame grid, which is where most of the context window and wall-clock time goes.
  • The system is a year of learning what to tell the model and what to leave out; the free path is the community MCP servers plus your own notes.
10Watching the first render, then notes
  • Judge a first render on structure, not polish: this one was a good edit with a bad hook because a template built as B-roll covered the face.
  • Give notes in placement terms, such as overlay not B-roll, track my face, stretch the logos, rather than re-describing the style.
11Pixel perfect: the re-render
  • Say it out loud when a render is good enough, or the agent keeps re-rendering any blurry title until it is pixel perfect.
  • Give fix notes as a numbered list in one prompt: intro change, face tracking, where to do sound, which render to prioritize.
12The day after: how long it took
  • Ask the agent to report its own timing; here one version took 1h25m and two took 1h35m because analysis dominates rendering.
  • Batch recording pays off because the per-video marginal time is small once the footage has been analyzed once.
13The sound design version, inside Resolve
  • Vague hook language like fisheye warp gets taken literally; name the move you mean, such as a punch-out.
  • Sound design lands as stacked tracks of generated effects and ambience in Resolve, judged before music is added so nothing hides.
14Posting, the normal one-liner, and what's next
  • The everyday prompt is one line: edit in this signature, do the sound design and music, show me the finished product.
  • Remotion can stand in for the pro apps, but motion blur and pacing details are what separate premium edits from AI slop.
Glossary

Terms worth knowing.

Signature
A saved bundle of several visual styles plus notes on how they were combined in a finished edit, so an agent can reproduce that whole look from one instruction.
Style library
A catalog of individually built animations, transitions, title cards and overlays, each with a preview and a description the agent can read before reusing it.
PowerGrade
A saved DaVinci Resolve color node tree that can be applied to new footage in one step to reproduce a specific look.
S-Log3
Sony's flat logarithmic recording profile that preserves dynamic range for grading and looks washed out until a grade is applied.
Punch-out hook
A short zoom or scale move on the talking head in the first seconds of a reel, used to add energy without covering the face.
Bypass permissions
A Claude Code setting that lets the agent run every tool call without asking for confirmation, trading safety checks for speed.
Planning mode
A mode in coding agents where the model writes out a plan for approval before it executes any steps.
MCP server
A small program that exposes an application's functions to an AI agent over the Model Context Protocol, which is how Claude Code controls apps like Blender or After Effects.
Sound stacking
Layering multiple sound effects on one moment, such as a whoosh, an impact and ambience, so a transition feels designed rather than pasted.

what's up everyone just a quick disclaimer before the video starts as you can tell it's like 40 minutes long and it does not take 40 minutes to do this whole editing process at all i mean my own working time is a couple minutes and that's just me typing in the prompts and then i let it work now the reason why it's 40 minutes long is because i go step by step run authentic live just to explain what's going on and why it's doing the thing it's doing.
And I'm also breaking it down from each step. And usually I just do throw the whole thing at it once and then it's done. And at the end of the video, I also explain how I would go on about automating this if that's your end goal.
And also everything about the Pocket Creative Director is linked down below. And yeah, let's begin. In this video, we're actually going to cover the whole editing process from A to Z.
That means we already have recorded the raw video and we're going to cut it up, showcase how that's done, the editing process, that means motion graphics and how it does make the decisions, and then obviously sound effects and then, you know, to the finished reel. There's little to nothing that you probably need to do. Now, with that being said, though, sometimes when I create a signature or a video, I like to record a raw video.
and while i'm creating a signature that's me meaning like multiple styles and stuff like that while i i'm trying to dial down my perfect style that's when sometimes you will be having to kind of go back and forth with cloud code or codecs or whatever agent you're using and say like hey i didn't like it like that we wanted to be like that or i wanted to work like this like you kind of explain it as if you were to explain it to someone sitting next to you and explain what you don't like and what you like now in this video though I'm going to cover just pretty much if you've already seen the other video going over how I create styles, we're going to use, if you look at my screen right now, this is my library right now.
I have not decided yet. So this is a raw video. So if we go to, first of all, if you see this, this is the reel that we're going to cover.
It's a 16 by nine, two versions. When I take on my headset here, that's version one. No, that's version two, where I'm actually kind of going over more.
This is where I'm following the script a little bit. and this version is where i'm just rapping a little bit talking from heart so what i'm going to do in this one is i'm literally just going to tell it like hey we have two versions don't cut them together we have two versions uh and i want you to cut and give me two different reels with two different styles sometimes i like to do this sometimes i like to do even three this way i can have three versions and one can be better than the other or it depends really sometimes most of the times i record a batch recording of different reels and batch recording pretty much so you could record in one recording 10 different reels and then just give to pocket creator director and he understands how to work so anyway without further ado let's honestly just begin so obviously the first step would be to open your code harness and kind of figure out obviously i don't have a signature that i want to use now now i want to kind of pick through the ones we've created here and um it's this one might be a little bit random but let's see
so for this edit i know what i'm talking about i'm kind of talking about how i grew from 10k followers or how i grew to 10k followers in pretty much under a month with only 10 posts posted using the pocket creator director so i know let me see here i like this style i like this animation this is a transition as you can see it's flowing very well i like this we're going to use this for transitions in this video and i also have let me see here there should be yeah the talking head obviously for you this does you don't know and remember these it's It's just I've created these styles in my library.
So I know I can remember by looking at them where they are and stuff. But I want to use the Apple UI thing here. So we're going to use this style when it comes to blurring and stuff like that.
So what I personally do is it depends. Most likely and most of the times I do first step will be color grading the footage in DaVinci Resolve because I use my own power grade. That makes it my vibe, my footage.
And then I take that into After Effects usually or I just let it be in DaVinci Resolve. depending on the edit. And then I finish everything up in After Effects.
So that's what we're going to do today. So I can show you the color grading and stuff. So let's see here.
So what I usually do, though, is if I don't want to automate it for this video, I'm not going to automate it necessarily. I'm just going to explain with my words what I want and how I want it to be done. OK, so what I want for this edit is I would like you to use.
I want you to rely on the only movement speed graph cuts transition. That's how I want the most transitions to be when it comes to if we're going from the talking head footage to the B -roll. Also, I want you to take a look at the talking head 16 by 9 sound design one where we're using the Apple UI stuff.
And yeah, just pretty much that. design I'll actually copy the name here and just follow look through what we did there and also the most recent one if for b -roll I actually want you to use the prism world reveal no actually I want you to use yeah use the prism world reveal for b -roll but I want white background and yeah so if you look at the serif world no if you look at the serif word rice I love that that's perfect actually no you know what you see this what happened I think while I'm doing this I'm kind of look Imagining how it's gonna be you know what I want to use blue vintage Serif title that we did in blender for a lot of the things for b -roll and Obviously you would like to I would like you to change it a little bit a little bit in terms of while I'm talking I want the words to kind of be just appear not just all of us all at once kind of if that makes sense and then I also want you to use the show real selection boxes sometimes for b -roll or you know what that could be the intro we could use that as a
Covering over the bottom thirds using this to match the intro or stuff like that Okay, I know this is very random. You have a lot of things to go by here You could also use the one sometimes if you need to you use depth handoff study Finally make sure that they are mixed together. So it has a very nice DNA signature style.
So obviously flows well and good luck so what i do there obviously this explanation you might be thinking like this is this guy don't even know what he's doing and honestly how i do this it's very messy uh as you can tell this is my process about it and most of you guys will plan this more and usually if you really want a good video you should kind of plan it a little bit because now i took it right on the spot i literally just looked at these what do i want to do what animations do i want and actually i realized because what the the things that i just picked does not really flow well together Initially, if I were to create more, less is more video, I would have created a video using this one, the white page outro.
And then I would use the transitions for this one because it matches well with these two. And then I would have created more or less is more video, meaning like this video here where kind of it's just me talking. And for the key parts that I'm talking kind of does a little bit more.
That's how I personally want to use. create my videos I think and obviously we have so many more styles we could use depending on what we're creating but also what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna let it do its thing also if you have any opinion of or other styles that might match here in our library you could use that too so but obviously I want you to use the blue vintage serif title thing mainly for parts that's like more I want them to remember maybe more like I don't know it's kind of hard to explain honestly you know what do your thing i i trust you that you know what you're doing and the video you're going to edit is this one so you know what actually what we're going to do there's two videos one of them should be less is more so the first video i want you to actually use mainly like the the styles that are similar for example showreel selection boxes still as in the intro the serif word rice could for example be used as b -roll And then we could also use the white page outro for B roll and obviously still use only movement speed graph and also use Apple UI, you know, the Apple and notifications.
So when I say Apple UI, I mean the Apple notification style we have created that we use inside of the talking head 16 by nine. So we have two versions. One of them could be a little bit more using the blue vintage serif and all of the other combined.
And one of them can be less is more taking more, more inspiration from only the talking head 16 by nine. so first obviously do the rough cut in dimension so we'll do the color grading and i trust you with this do the rough cut color grading and then render both videos and just begin pretty much just do the whole process i don't want to i trust you i don't want to review the video and do literally the whole edit for both of them as quickly as you can and as yeah high quality as you can use but under use of interest will use the things you need to do to make this work and last but not least sound design um when the whole videos are rendered Probably we should do the sound design inside of DaVinci Resolve at the end of the day, maybe.
Whatever you think is the quickest and the fastest and quality wise. You could also do it Premiere Pro. Maybe it's easier to just move the After Effects file to Premiere Pro.
Whatever you do. I don't care. So for me, I have all these softwares because I've created this.
I need to make sure that it works. Yeah. So now what we're going to do is just going to let this work and do its thing.
And also what I want to mention here is that you don't necessarily have these styles yet. some of these will be released in the official library that you can download and use and you might be like what are you even talking about like how do you do this like how this is a mess and how i name my things yes it is a little bit of a mess but it works for me so you should do the same that works for you cloud code will name this for you too and i'm trying to make a way so it's kind of better product like you have if it's a text animation we call it a different name but this works kind of you just go over here literally say create the invitation envelope style create the casino card logo intro yeah all of that pretty much uh so as you can see here we have a lot of different styles we have so many things that we've created and tried so yeah so and usually what i would like to do and usually this signature thing is kind of new it's really good but it's kind of new so i what i'm doing now pretty much is what you should and what i recommend is instead of doing what i just did which is kind of a bad explanation an example honestly but what i recommend doing is actually turning these into signatures let's say we want this as a text b -roll style
mixed with the showreel mixed with this one and mixed with this transition and then turn them into a signature because this way after you create a sig after you create a signature and explain all of these styles you kind of you'll like cloud code will know exactly you don't have to do the whole explanation process that i just teach here then you can literally just say edit my videos or to the videos with signature a and signature b done that's how amazing the system is and but sometimes i just know when i want to try new things i just do what i just did i have no idea how this turns out most of the time like obviously it will turn out well but again as i tell uh if you have seen the sound design um You might have something that you envision and imagine so sometimes even though it's really amazing It's not necessarily how exactly you imagine it, but most of the times it will be really good So obviously you just let it know what you didn't like and what you like this way it will say what you like and don't like with that specific signature or style and then it will improve and then obviously over time it will just
be one shot every single time if that's your goal so yeah again we should probably just let it do its thing and which it is doing right now kind of looking at the styles looking at the how all the ones that i mentioned what it is and hopefully what it should do is it should look at the file so it understands them without just having to recreate them so anyway let's just let it do and do its rating thing okay so okay so what i want to re okay okay so what i want to mention too is by the way um i sometimes i just want to make sure and that's just me being want to make sure that it really works so i just told it to do assembly ai because i have the options of 11 labs and assembly ai for transcription whether you're using those two or a separate one that you like or if you're using whisper x which is this local model it knows all about it You can do that too, but I forgot to tell it.
And then I prefer assembly AI. So what it's doing right now, it's going through the video, going through the styles, creating kind of a plan. And it's also transcribing, obviously what's going on in the video, make sure you have the best takes.
And so it's cut together very well. It's color grading it and it's doing everything that I just told it to. But what's worth mentioning here too, is that sometimes you also want to just make it a plan.
So if you have a coding harness that does like planning, you can make it plan before it executes. so instead as you see i have bypass permissions you could put it to create a plan this way it will plan it more i barely use it because i just want to be fast and efficient i just want to go go go go that's my my way of doing things and just fix it on the go that's how i prefer doing things but planning mode is something you can do too so before it actually does anything waste a lot of time you can actually just plan it and figure out um so if that's how you want to work on stuff you could just make it plan stuff honestly and then yeah work from there So here is what's going on it's working inside of Dimension Resolve here working bit by bit and then now again how my work processes and how I do things is might be different than you you might be only using Dimension Resolve you might be only using After Effects and Premiere Pro either or you could do exactly what I'm doing probably the best thing would be to work within
only DaVinci Resolve and not DaVinci Resolve and After Effects. But I really like the way After Effects works when it comes to actually creating the different effects. I have so many ways of doing things.
Now, we actually use Blender, DaVinci Resolve. We do so much things. So as you can see here on my screen here, it's cutting everything up for you, making sure it flows well.
And what you can do to before, you can watch it while it's working. But sometimes, as you see, it might be stopped. And here you can see also it's appending the signature styles or signature color grade.
on my screen right now. It works very well. And I mean, yeah.
So what do you see here is it kind of just does a quality check. As you can see here, it's a PNG file. This will just make sure that it knows that it's been working just to double check itself, check its steps.
And it also is color grading it correctly. So it uses my signature. So as you can see, it goes from one style to another and it color grades a little bit.
So that's that's what it does. So mine, I want mine to color grade mine. It's going to use my signature look and then color grade.
And funny thing too, you can literally just go to Pinterest while this is working. Some of you guys might be recording on the same type of camera that I am, which is a ZV -E1 or I'm using S -Log3. Or if you're using a Canon camera or if you're just using your phone, you could also have Log so you can do proper color grading.
You don't have to do color grading at all. That's just the extra step that I take. So you can literally just go to Pinterest, go to cinematic color grade, look this up.
And then you could take a lot of here. For example, if you really like this color grid, you can literally just paste that by. Now, this is not necessarily more of a color grid, in my opinion.
This is more of just showing the quality. So if you want to have a specific color grid and a vibe, you can literally just scroll through here, find the color grid that you want, give it to Cloud Code, and then make your own signature color grid. It can do that too.
So sometimes you want to mention things. For example, if you were to create. a color grid, I would recommend, for example, giving it, let's say you want to recreate this color grid, you would copy this image and then you would also explain the bloom, for example.
Okay, this color grid is very, it's very cold. It knows this, by the way, but I also want you to create a node, for example, that has the bloom. We want to make sure that we get the bloom as well.
And obviously we'll do that too. Again, you can do pretty much everything that you want to with the Booker Creator Director. So as you can see here, decent color grade i know i look a little bit messy and we have the mess here in the background but anyway it is what it is so yeah now let's let's do it let's let it work again uh one thing i want to mention too is you can if you have a lot of videos and if you have a really good computer you could also kind of let it plan both of them at the same time so what i mean by that is i would now let's say i start over from scratch here i would just literally say like hey we have two videos in the one recording that we have What I'd like you to do is I want you to delegate both those sections.
So one video shoot to another agent and the other video to the other agent. And then obviously do the whole editing process and sound design and the whole deal pretty much. And then what it will do then is obviously we'll have the head agent delegating to the different agents so they can focus on their own separate video.
It's not necessary at this point. Opus is doing such a good job, Opus 5 .5. I strongly recommend using Opus 5 .5 at the time of this recording or Astra when it comes to...
because they're really creative like a little bit more creative not that it needs to be considering i'm giving it all the guidelines and instructions that it needs to do all the different tasks so i didn't want to show or watch the video through myself most of the times i kind of want to see the video before it start editing because you know it's an ai model sometimes very rarely it might be something i don't like or i don't like the way it's cut up Or if I have an opinion that I want to put in myself, I might want to watch it through.
But you could still, while it's working, you could still start watch. So let's, you know, let's watch this cut through. Oh, I realized, by the way, sorry guys, I realized I was listening to music while I was recording this.
I do apologize. Wait, let's just watch this rough cut. I posted 10 videos and in under a month, they actually grew to 10 ,000 followers.
And funny thing, editors started DMing me, asking me if I needed anything edited. They thought that I was editing all the videos that I have.
now honestly this is mainly a edit that i recorded for this video specifically as you can see i don't know why i have the heads headset up here it's mainly so i could separate the two different clips and yeah um but it does a decent really good rough cut depending on what I say. So obviously I could have been more energetic.
That's the human in the loop. That's the problem here. Not the editing at all.
So just wanted to watch that through. It kind of works already. So yeah.
Something I want to mention too. Most of the times I do not use DaVinci Resolve, After Effects and Blender all at the same time. But this just...
video this mainly video is this goes to show that you can and that's how a lot of creatives probably will work usually do work depending on how high quality of the edit they are creating if they have a 3d animation that they want to which is best in blender so most of the times i literally just color grade it and then put it straight into after effects it does its whole thing there and then after it it does the sound effects that's how i usually go no sorry davinci result color grade after effects and stuff and then the sound design there But now I kind of just wanted to see how well we could do this combining this.
So I'm actually barely done this myself. So it will be really cool to see what's going to happen here. All right.
So for me, for most of you guys, this is not the case. But I have a Windows computer that's running on a server back home. And I have this MacBook.
So I can, in theory, render like on two different machines. So it goes even faster. Not necessary at all.
But I tend to do that. This way I can just render stuff because my MacBook isn't the strongest. It's strong, but like good, but it's not the strongest and the best.
Obviously, if you already have and been delving with rendering in Dimension Resolve or After Effects, you're good to go anyway. You probably know that. Now we're going to take a look, scroll through it a little bit.
So what I don't like is the intro. I was thinking more of using pretty much just using this as like a more overlay while I'm talking. So I might just I would have given it like intro like I don't like this is very basic, not what I wanted.
The rest is pretty decent. I think I would change certain things. Obviously, it's easier to go through when the video is done, but I want to scroll through and sometimes and actually most of the times what I end up doing is actually while it's rendering and doing its thing.
If I see something I don't necessarily like while it's working, I let it know. Right. uh this is the less is more version and this is the one that is not obviously less is more more things happening showcasing all the different styles the blue one which i do believe probably will be really good i have a strong feeling that this one will actually be quite good for example this this one too i don't know what i think about this this is bad quality but it works so i would change it like this is i think this is pretty cool pretty good and it's not done yet it's still working so i'm gonna let it still work and do its thing but all of these styles have been generated in the tutorials that i've created previously inside of the poker creative director this way you kind of already knows how or know how these work So anyway, I'm just going to let this keep on working.
It's been a couple. What ended up happening inside of Cloud Code here is that I had no room on my SSD drive where this is running. So we're just failing over again.
That was my fault. So I literally just told him like, hey, hold up. My storage is full.
So just for your information, it takes longer because it was holding up for too long. And make sure you have enough storage. I have maxed it out.
so yeah without further ado let's just let it do its thing render and and we'll go back and kind of dive into what it did and how it did it okay so it seems like the first render is done i just got back i'm actually about to go to a wedding so you know it's nice to just wait let let this wait through so what it's doing here is pretty much just analyzing you don't have to do this the reason why i do this is because i want quality over i don't want to have to go back and forth all the time but as you can see here it does a lot of like after effects a7 grid it's what it's pretty much doing is it's always quality checking and double checking that even though it knows most likely it is perfect, but it always, after the render, it always like double checks that the video looks good.
Pretty much. That's why like the context window will get blow like massive eventually. And mean as you can tell just for information i literally just told it like the assembly ai because i wanted to transcribe it and then i also told it like right now open the folder which is kind of most likely already will be doing that's by automatic it will open that up now i don't think nor do i know but i don't think i told it to do sound design so initially it might not have done the sound design yet which is kind of totally fine uh for the first take i kind of just want to watch and listen through uh the whole video first and see the whole entire video and then we would just do the sound design which is pretty much a simple case we'll do pretty go pretty quick so the poker greater director is pretty much just literally i got a notification i literally got a notification today that i've been working and started thinking about this whole process and i've been doing this for a year now exact to this date september 26th
So that's really funny. But what Pocket Creator Director is, it pretty much has all of the instructions of a creative. I've been spending a lot of time on figuring out where and what to do.
Now, if you don't want to invest or use Pocket Creator Director that I've been building, which is totally fine. I don't judge you at all, which is totally fine. Obviously, you can always just download the MCP servers.
Just literally look up all the community service for After Effects and Premiere Pro. W3Sol have its own right now. Just came out.
Amazing. That's what I'm using. And then you can build your own Pocket Creator director over time.
If you set up like learning loops and algorithms that make sure that you learn everything and that you obviously have a good system and things where you can literally just use your voice. So obviously what have taken me a lot of time to build this is I've had to figure out what to what to tell it, what not to tell it and do over explaining every single time.
use it so i have to in the beginning of this when i started using this it was it's i spent more time on vibe editing than if i were to do it manually because i was like oh i didn't like that so i instead of actually just going in and changing myself i used more time on talking to cloud kill but now as you can tell this is the first test and if you're coming from the pocket creator director And if you've seen all my videos in the terms of like the tutorials and how we created these styles, because if we go to the library here, so if we go to the library, as you can see here, the library here, these are like the styles that we created in one shot in one of the few tutorials like this one, this one here, which we'll be seeing in the edit.
And all of these are just pretty much most of them are, yeah, just one shot. And then what we do with the poker creator director is if you don't already have it and know it. which pretty much just tell it like, Hey, I want you to recreate this style.
This was an image that I took inspiration from Pinterest. And then I explained how I would want it to be used. And then it gave me this exactly the first trial.
And then what you would do is literally just explain like, Hey, when you use this in my footage, I want it to be as a overlay, not a B roll. So that's what I did wrong here. So now as you see here, we actually got the video back.
So let's actually watch it. Okay. So you know what?
Let's actually watch the video and then I'm going to give my notes on it after. I posted 10 videos and in under a month, I actually grew to 10 ,000 followers. And funny thing, editors started DMing me, asking me if I needed anything edited because they thought that I was editing all of the videos that I have by hand.
myself and i'm not the only thing that i actually do is i record they cut the graphics the color grade and obviously the sounds pretty much every single thing that you see in this video and all my videos and everything that i do is done by cloud code but inside of the native applications this edit for example it's color graded in davinci resolve by a cloud and it's edited most graphics instead of after effects i never touched the timeline once and this thing i call the so honestly it's not bad honestly it's very in my opinion for it's a really good edit honestly the only thing that i would give notes on is i do not like this is a bad hook if you were to start this in a short form video this is a short from video like one minute and 30 seconds i would just explain it like oh you kind of messed up here because this is one of the styles we created in the tutorials if you and inside of poker creator directory inside of the training videos and as you can see here
on my screen right now this video right here is exactly like the template so that's not how we want it to work so ideally i would want this to be inside of uh while you see my screen with a punch out maybe right that's how i would want this style to work so next time What I would do here is I would literally just say to Cloud Code, hey, can you please fix this?
When you use this, most of the times I actually want it to be an overlay and not a B -roll. That's how I explain it. So I still want to be able to see my face and stack the videos better.
And this doesn't really make sense. I don't like it. Might as well honestly just get rid of it.
That's how I think about it. Now, this is overall better. Like this one could have the only thing I would change with this is I actually wanted to track my face.
That's what I would do here. Track my face. And then this one is very basic, simple.
We could keep it. There is very simple. Obviously, we haven't done the sound design yet, which we will do now.
Also, if I want to do be very picky, these logos needs to stretch out. So they actually cover this thing right here. And I love this style.
This is what I like. This is I love this style. We also created this style, literally just I gave it an image explain what I wanted.
And that's the first thing I got back from the poker creator director. And this is kind of alive in the video actually kind of lie in the video, which is I said that I'm using color grading in the intro, which I did. And then I'm doing the After Effects or the motion graphic inside of After Effects.
But this style exactly here was actually done in Blender. And we also did recreate this style in After Effects, but the Blender one was way faster and better in my opinion. So anyway, it's not a big deal.
But anyway, other than that, I'm really satisfied. I like most of it. And you might be thinking, well, what's up with this text animation?
It's laggy or it's pushing it. That's how I want it to be, honestly. Yeah, overall, it's really good.
It works. And if I wanted to be really picky, I feel like this is a very cheap, a little bit cheaper animation. I wish it was had a more glow maybe or more prism effect, but it is what it is.
I'm just going to keep it there. So yeah, that's it. And the next step for this one would be to honestly just do the sound design.
So normally I would want to specify the intro that I wasn't necessarily too satisfied with the intro mainly. That's the only thing I'm personally satisfied. That's the first prompt.
So this one I would change to be more authentic. See my face. We want to always see the face.
Maybe a subtle punch out hook like it punches out zooming punch out. Other than that, everything else is really good. And also this, if I want to really be picky, this should track.
Overall, other than that, really good. If I really wanted to, again, be picky, I would have wanted to change this maybe a little bit. I don't know.
Something of this kind of makes me, I don't know if I like this style. And as you can, like normally, you should try to get your brand identity. Like it's everything from this animation, like an Apple UI to this is very Apple -like.
Now this is not necessarily Apple -like. And then all of a sudden we go into like, this is obviously. And then all of a sudden we go into this style.
So it's very random. But I mean, I personally, I don't care for this video. This is mainly just to showcase how I would go on about it.
And then after very important step here, whenever you're done and happy with an edit like that, you could like, for example, what I did now is I use multiple styles and how it's been edited. Right. What I would do at the end of this video, I would just say, like, if I'm really satisfied, like, hey, can you please turn this into a signature?
All the styles we used here. And I love how the edit was. Can you please turn this into a signature?
So literally, that's how I would go on about it if I just test and try new things. And then next time, you could just literally say, hey, can we use a signature called, and then obviously the name, and then it will, I don't have to explain anything. I literally just give it the footage, boom, footage in, and then the signature edit completes the same style like this.
So yeah, obviously, again, I would give notes, tracking my face and notes on the intro, obviously to make it perfect how I like it. So again, how the Pocket Creator Director works, it's want to be pixel perfect. So what's going to happen sometimes is that it will go over the rendered video.
And if it thinks and for example, if it thinks it doesn't something was wrong, it will rerender and keep going over. So it's perfect. For example, right now, if you were satisfied with this video, you would just let it know like, hey, this is perfect already.
You don't have to do too much. But just so that you know that. Now, the reason why I thought it messed up here is because this one is blurry.
The text here is blurry. which it shouldn't be in that signature style or in that library style that I've created with this text animation. It says nothing about blurriness.
So that's why it will re -render it. So what I'm going to do now is, okay, I really thought that the original edit here was perfect. Obviously, there's some changes that I would want to make, which is one, I would like it to be in the intro.
We don't want to showcase and cover the entire face. The main thing about the intro should be me. Focus should be me.
So no B -roll in the intro and maybe like a warp punch out something effect. if anything other than that it's really good and also the video editor question mark thing uh where it's covering my face it would be cool if you actually track it center in my face or just tracking my face a little bit other than that it's very good after you render that i also want you to do everything all of the sound design inside of davinci resolve so do the sound design now i want you to use 11 labs to find the sound and i want you to use 11 labs to find the sound effects create the sound effects to match this edit for this video specifically i want you to focus on render a right now render b is more of a backup render you don't have to Overly focus on that and you can do the sound design here locally, please.
Thank you very much Do proper sound design, you know the whole gig. So that's how I would go on about it again mine and yours when you get this if you have the poker creator if you don't totally fine but you will yours will also be very pixel perfect so all your videos will turn out well because most people that have done this stuff and if you have tried this before using ai first of all the edits themselves look kind of cheap second of all it will fail now and then because it doesn't have the correct instructions and the system to actually save things collect and like find things pretty much the exact system that i pretty much a good system for cloud code to know what it's doing but you can literally if you don't want to when you're using the pocket creator directory if you don't want to make it that pixel perfect because again this video is honestly very perfect in my opinion it's really good it has a style it's high quality to you you might be like what the hell is this style even well this is what i wanted exactly what i wanted so i'm very happy i'm satisfied with this effect and it understands my vibe and everything
really and obviously the same for all of the effects that you see here is explained in the poker creative director training videos on how you just go from your thoughts and to the different effects it's really simple it's funny i love to see how good it turns out with just one prompt and it's ready to go and you can literally create 30 videos out a day pretty much this is insane and i'm really satisfied with this so um so yeah so again you could just literally tell it like hey you don't have to be that perfect and over time it'll just learn what you like what you don't like and then it will edit way you like it to edit it literally like a like a director like a creator director in your pocket that's why we call it the pocket credit director anyway let's just let it do the sound design finish the whole video and then yeah okay all right what's up guys this uh as you tell i am all changed last night while i was working with this i got a little bit rushed i was going to a wedding so this is the day after and now we gotta obviously i need to cover this it does not take a whole day for this to like finish so i'm going to showcase everything just to see that
I only have sent a couple of prompts here that you already have seen. And then now, how long did it take you? Obviously not the waiting time.
I asked you how long it took. It says that it took one hour and 25 minutes. That's including the part where I actually was out.
But what if you notice here? round two and this means what it does and why for me it takes so long for it to edit is and we're working on to make this faster but take in mind if you look at a alone that's just one video and then we have two versions of another video so in theory the reason why it takes long is because it's analyzing the footage we're looking where you are the movement of you what you're saying how to plan this to make it really good and it's also quality checking for me i really want good quality on my videos so it's quality checking every single step Now, you don't have to do this really in depth like me at all.
But if you notice this, A alone is one hour and 25 minutes. But A and B is one hour and 35 minutes. Meaning, if you want to batch record 30 videos, and I'm not saying two videos, I'm saying literally 30 videos, it will not take too much longer.
It wouldn't have to be like, it wouldn't be 30 hours. You know, it wouldn't be 30 hours here. that you would for each video literally because the reason why it takes longer the first for one video is it because it really plants and go really in depth now without further ado you're probably wondering how this audio and video looks so as again it gave me one minimal video and then it also gave me one video uh that's um better edited and i really like So yeah, without, so yeah, without further ado, let's just see what Claude code cooked up for the sound design.
And obviously it's only the sound design. Cause that's what I specified. Obviously you could tell it like, Hey, did the music sound design and mixing everything, but I just want to showcase everything step -by -step.
So here, here goes the first version posted 10 videos. And in under a month, I actually grew to 10 ,000 followers and funny thing. Editors started DMing me asking me if I needed anything edited because they thought that I was editing all of the videos that I have by hand myself.
And I'm not the only. that i actually do is i record they cut the graphics the color grade and obviously the sounds pretty much every single thing that you see in this video and all my videos and everything that i do is done by cloud code but inside of the native applications this edit for example it's collaborated in davinci resolve by a cloud and it's edited most graphics instead of after effects i never touched the timeline once and this thing i call the pocket creative director i record and then obviously sometimes as a human being i mess up So I just redo the take and at the end or in the video, I could just say, hey, Carl, can you cut this section?
And it understands. So I literally drop the file inside of the Pocket Creative Director chat, which literally is Codex, whatever agent you're using. Tell it, hey, edit this in my signature.
And then it comes out exactly like this. It understands how to edit properly. So you don't have to go back and forth all the time.
AI is smart, but it's only as creative as the person behind it. You should focus on what you're good at, your expertise field, what you're selling, your brand, and let A Cloud Code do the mundane work, but do it the right way. Use it the right way for your brand and you win.
So if you want to see how I edited this video, camera to the finished thing you're watching right now, you can just comment. Director and I will send it right over. Okay, so obviously as you can tell here in the beginning You remember when we told like the fisheye warp lens it literally took that to heart So it kind of messed up here.
That's because my explanation was very poorly Usually I would just say like a punch punch out hook and then it works So that's something we've changed. And the sound design wise, it's decent.
Obviously, when you add music to this and lower the sound design audio, it will kind of blend in the background. So it's less and more. Obviously, now it feels way too punchy because it's currently still, there's no music or anything, right?
So now you just kind of get a gist of, you obviously probably know this if you do your sound design already. You already kind of know why and what this is pretty much. but overall it did a really good job and if you want to see so obviously there's two versions i'm not going to go through this it's the same one but not the blue part is very minimalistic simple easy i don't necessarily like certain sound designs here but let's open the project and see what it does so actually before anything else let's ask you to uh hey can you open the um version a in davinci resolve please so what i'm going to do and why i'm asking that is because that's one we're going to focus on right now because i like the version a more than version b i like the blue part this here as you see it opens it right away so then we're good was fast so again here you can see the whole sound design process as you notice it's also color grading them uh very simple here but we can go i don't i'm not gonna go too deep but it knows exactly
how to do sound design, we're covering the sound design thing. If you're part of the poker creative director, we're already kind of covering this already. But for those who don't have this, this has been a process in a long, long time where you know, being able to learn and teach cloud code how to use 11 labs to do proper sound design, and we've gotten to the point it really does a good job.
So again, it does proper sound stacking here. like i i could break this down and also we're still working on the sound design here depending on the video everything from ambience music in the background if you're in a cafe shop if you're moving around if you're using 11 labs it will actually do the ambience in the background too so it actually feels like the user is being pulled into your video because that's the goal less is more for sure uh but yeah so i mean overall it's a really good edit if i were to be really picky and by the time you're maybe seeing this on instagram obviously i will change the hook a little bit I would also fix certain, maybe some sound effects will turn out too sharp.
That could happen. It's an AI that generates these sound effects. But as you can see, it tracks my face.
Easy PC, that's a quick thing. And yeah, everything is done properly here. Obviously, if there's anything I would change, it's probably the sound design for this one.
I know it can do a better job, but I mean, it works really well. So what our next step would be is literally just say like, all right, we're good. Change this change that and then also I could tell poker creator director What type of music I want or I could just literally say like alright pick the music that fits this vibe the best Also, I like to do be creative with my music like when these things are coming up b -roll stuff I might muffle the audio obviously cloud code codex In other words, the Pocket Creative Director will actually muffle the video for you too.
Or like the audio of the music. Anyway, that's not the concept here. But as you can see, it's really complex.
For this video specifically, I feel like we've gotten to the end of that one edit. How I go from A to Z. And the next thing I would just do is make some fine adjustments in terms of literally just the intro.
Just do a normal punch out hook and that's it. And obviously music. And then we're done.
And then it's the posting process. There's so many services you could use that post these for you automatically too. and that's what i do i literally just yeah either sometimes i use something called instant dm metrical depending on what i use uh and whatever you use that's up to you i have not dialed in an automatic poster for you inside of the poker creator director if that's something people want let me know and we will get that done so everything is automated if you really wanted to But personally, I have just another one, you know.
So when it's done, I just tell Poker Creator Director, hey, post this video for me. Obviously, you use a DM keyword so they can get the video so they can teach and how the video you're watching now. And yeah, so that's pretty much it.
So, I mean, what I would do is pretty much just tell it like, hey, edit this video in this signature. I want you to do the sound design with 11 Labs or my own key. And then I also tell it to just do the music too and show me the finished product.
That's how much I trust you. You don't have to be in the loop all the time. I like this is more for me to be able to show you.
what it does for each step. So it's really, really neat, really simple. And moving forward.
Now, finally, I'm done with a lot of things, there will be a lot of updates here, a lot of these styles moving forward, the more I will create videos myself, I will release these inside of the poker creator director. For those who have that this way, you can just you know, plug and play for yourself, you don't have to do your own style.
If you really don't want to, you could just steal out of my styles. And again, if you don't have but And again, if you really don't have DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or Premiere Pro, you can in theory do this in re -motion, but the only thing you would be losing is like motion blur and like the little bit thing, the things that make, the things that separates AI slop and like poorly, a little bit poorly edited videos to a highly edited videos with proper motion blur, proper movements.
Better pacing and all the other motion graphics that kind of makes it premium in my opinion obviously and also again if you don't want to pay for After Effects or if you don't want to pay for anything here the native and the MCP blender is really good for motion graphics You just need to trust it with blender to blender is honestly.
I think that's it's up and coming it's a goat right now for motion graphics and strongly do recommend that but that's usually for like b -roll footage like this so yeah anyway thank you very much for watching and hopefully this was really helpful for you to understand how the poker creator direct works so you can start using it yourself and um yeah um without further ado i'm going to finish up this video literally just the only thing i'm going to mention now is hey can you please fix the intro that's it and i threw the music and then we're good to go so yeah thank you very much again for watching and i wish you a great rest of your day
