I just gave CloudFable five access to 600,000 plus of the best design references and UI screens on the Internet. And these are real user interfaces powering the biggest applications and websites that you use every day. So even if you don't have a single creative bone in your body, Cloud can just search this whole database for whatever it is that you're building and actually design stuff that works.

And the best part is it's all enabled by just one MCP connector. So today, I'll walk you through how to set that up and how to best use it so you can start creating world class designs like never before. Let's get into it.

So the Claude models are amazing, but if you don't really have a design system locked in and you're only sending pretty simple prompts, usually, what you end up with in the design department is something similar to this, where at least from what I'm seeing, this serif font seems to be preferred by Claude quite a lot. And whenever you see this purple gradient color palette, you pretty much know that it was created using AI.

Now one of the best ways for you to fix that is to actually feed Claude and Fable a good design reference. And this website called mobbin.com is probably the leading reference when it comes to these design systems because what they have in their database is over 600,000 references for UI elements, components, and basically every screen that you will need no matter what application or what software you are building.

And you can see this is coming from real, actual apps that are running right now. So you have ones from Linear, you have a few from Manus, there's this one from Intercom, Duolingo.

And the great thing about it is apart from just websites, it also has a view of iOS apps. So if you are developing a mobile application, it has references for that as well.

And Mobin has been around for a while. But previously, for you to actually use these elements, you will need to, let's say, find the particular UI element that you are after. Let's say you're after a banner, and you will actually need to browse and eyeball this one by one in order to find a design reference that you want.

And then what you would do is to copy this screen, and you can see it copied to my clipboard as a PNG. And then you would send that to Claude to use as a design reference. So what launched recently is Mobin's own MCP connector, which basically means that you can now connect Claude to Mobin and just let it look through its database in order to find the references that you would need for your work.

And you can see in their homepage here, we are going to use Claude for this lesson, but you obviously are not limited to just Claude. If you're using Codex or OpenClaw or Hermes, those can connect to Mobin as well. And the great thing about it is throughout their database, they have, as I mentioned, 621,500 plus UI screens that are actually shipped, and now your AI agents can parse through that whole list in order to help with your designs.

So whether you're building out, say, a finance app or a health app or an ecommerce app, then you can just use Mobin's MCP in order to ask Claude to connect to this whole database and find any screens that you would need built so that you have ready references for your agent. Now back to the video. To set this up, it's really simple. If you go to Mobin and go to your settings, you'll now find a new MCP tab there.

And if you copy this piece of text, send that to wherever you're using Cloud Code and ask it to install this. What that will now do is it just set up the MCP server for you, and it will also open up a login page so that you can authorize Claude to connect to your Mobin account. So you can see for me, is already installed.

It is in my user config and already connected. Now if you are using the Claude desktop app, what you would need to do is to just copy this URL. And if you go to customize and click on connectors, you'll be able to set it up here by adding a custom connector.

Give it a name, and the remote MCP server URL is the one from the documentation. And if you click on add there, that will just take you through the single sign on page, which is really easy. And so now if we go back to Cloud Code and ask if we're connected to the mob in MCP and if we can now access their database, you can see that it confirmed that for me, and it even confirmed for me that it pulled three real UI screens back from their database, which is good.

So now let's actually put this to use. Let's say you're building out a SaaS application and you're currently stuck with this Vibe coated looking design. And currently, if you look at the screens, you can see it is quite similar in terms of design.

You have a packaging studio here. You have a view for analytics. So what I would do in this case is send a prompt like this where I ask Claude to use the Mobin MCP to find three great design references for this app, which is this one that I linked to it and to actually build out the sample dashboard page for me for each of those design references.

And when it's done, it gave us three reworked interfaces that we can simply choose from. So this is one that is inspired by Gumroad's neo brutalist design. The second one is a bit more vibrant.

It's coming from a website called lemonsqueezy.com. And then you have this third one, which is coming from apparently Zapier's four zero four page. So what's really happening under the hood is that Claude is accessing Movin's database and is looking for a different design inspirations from that huge database.

So you can see this one is the lemon squeezy one and this one is the screenshot from Gumroad. And the great thing about it is once you have these design systems locked in, you can now start to generate a couple of pages that you need. So for example, I just asked Claude to create a homepage sample for us in this lemon squeezy style.

It also made this draft homepage for us using the Gumroad aesthetic. And just overall, when you're using Claude and this wealth of UI screens that you get access to using Mobin, it is actually a good practice to just generate and iterate on multiple designs until you arrive at a look that you want. Now, obviously, you should not just copy any design right off the bat.

And so a couple of ideas that you can do is to just iterate on maybe the color palette or the fonts in order to change it up a bit. But let's say you're already happy with this design aesthetic. What would now be useful for you to do is to make this design system into a skill so that it is something that you can reuse for future builds.

Another great use of the Mobin MCP, just because of how large their database is, is that you can actually use it to find and build any user interface screens that you normally would miss when doing these software apps. To give an example, I'm sending this prompt where I'm saying that using the Mobin MCP, please find UI screens that I would need for this app that builders usually miss and create them in my chosen design system.

And when it's completed that, you can see it gave us four commonly missed screens for this application. So we have this one for a connector channel onboarding. And here, Claude used references from QuickBooks, from Fiverr, as well as Evernote.

We also have this upgrade payroll page using references from Linear as well as Eleven Labs. The third one it made is this model where you need to type to confirm delete. So this is coming from Vercel from June and HubSpot.

So let's say if you're building out a piece of software where deleting projects can cause a bad user experience, then this is something that you may have missed. But because we connected Cloud to Mobin, it was able to find out that this is something that we may need. And then finally, it made this search no results state page, which it got from Codecademy as a reference.

Now one other thing that I like to do when it comes to building out design systems is sending a prompt like this, where I'm asking it to give me five UI components that are both useful and visually arresting. And Fable is actually really good at this because versus the other models, it is probably the best at front end design right now.

So I did this for our Robo design system, which is this style that you've been seeing me use a lot in our lessons and in our videos. And coming from that prompt, what people created for me are these really good components and designs that I can now add to our design system in order to just improve it. And so if I need like an interactive background for any piece of software using the slash robo design system, then I can just refer to these components so that I can instantly level up the look and feel of the builds that I am making.

And And so this is useful when you're creating slides that are interactive, when you're creating websites, when you're creating videos using tools like hyperframes, and setting a prompt like this is really useful, especially in those times when your usage limits are about to reset and you still have a lot of tokens remaining.

Now the only real con when it comes to Mobin is that to use their MCP, you do need to be part of their pay plan, which I believe starts at 15 US dollars a month. But to me, that is very well worth it in order to get access to their database.

So if you're still deciding if this is even useful to you, what I've just provided is around a 100 of these screens so that you can try it out just to see if having a reference database similar to what Bobbin has would be of utility to you.
