How to Create 30 Days of Content in Under 60 Minutes Using Claude + Canva
A rebuild of a two-year-old ChatGPT workflow, now wired through Claude's native Canva integration — most of the runtime is the unglamorous setup work that has to exist before one-prompt batching works at all.

Big Idea
The argument in one line.
Connecting Claude to a Canva brand kit, project instructions, and labeled templates turns 'batch 20 posts' into a one-prompt task — but it produces consistency, not growth.
Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
A solo creator or coach already posting on one platform who wants to batch-produce weeks of on-brand social content in one sitting.
Someone who already has, or is willing to build, a Canva brand kit and wants AI output that stays consistent with it instead of generic templates.
A creator preparing for a slow season (launch, travel, maternity leave) who needs filler content ready in advance without sacrificing brand quality.
SKIP IF…
You're hoping this replaces your growth strategy — the creator states directly that batch content is for consistency, not for growth.
You want AI to fully automate short-form video edits — Claude currently can't insert or sync text inside moving reel footage.
You haven't picked a single platform yet — the workflow assumes one already-defined brand voice and project per platform.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
This tutorial builds a four-layer pipeline that turns one prompt into weeks of on-brand social content using Claude and Canva. First, connect the two tools through Canva's native Claude integration. Second, create a Claude Project with permanent instructions covering brand voice, audience, and goals, so you never re-explain your brand. Third, build a Canva brand kit of colors, fonts, and voice notes. Fourth, design labeled, locked branded templates Claude can duplicate without touching the original. Once built, one prompt can generate 20 quote graphics, outline 30 carousel ideas, or bulk-populate short-video overlays from a spreadsheet. The creator is explicit: this maintains posting consistency during slow periods, it does not replace a growth strategy, and AI still can't edit reel footage directly.

02 · Step 1: Connect Claude + Canva
Title card, then adds the Canva connector inside Claude's account settings and grants it full integration permissions.
01:42 – 04:34
03 · Step 2: Set up a Claude Project
Creates a new Claude Project (not just a chat), names it by brand + platform, and pastes a pre-written 'social media strategist' instructions prompt covering audience, brand voice, content pillars, and goals.
04:34 – 06:44

06:44 – 08:37
05 · Step 3: Build the Canva Brand Kit
Title card, then sets up the Canva brand kit -- colors, fonts, brand voice notes, photos -- that Claude will reference for every generated design. Notes it's a paid Canva Pro feature but calls it essential.
08:37 – 13:23
06 · Step 4: Create branded templates
Builds three template types (carousel, single motivational-quote image, reel), explicitly labeling every field ('main heading', 'hook text', 'CTA') and locking elements Claude should never touch, then saves each as a Brand Template so Claude duplicates rather than edits the master.
13:23 – 16:02
07 · Batch: single-image motivational quotes
Prompts Claude for 20 motivational quotes for content creators, reviews them for brand voice, then asks Claude to apply them to the labeled quote template in Canva -- producing 20 finished graphics from one prompt.
16:02 – 19:24
08 · Batch: carousels
Prompts Claude for 30 educational 5-step carousel ideas, drafts one out with an explicit slide-by-slide structure, and shows the Google Docs route for outlining many carousels at once before uploading to Claude for bulk creation.
19:24 – 21:50
09 · Batch: reels
Explains Claude/Canva can't yet edit or place text inside video, so instead uses Canva's bulk-create/data-merge tool to paste 20 quotes into a table and generate 20 short seven-second overlay videos at once.
21:50 – 23:32
10 · Outro: consistency, not growth
Closes by reframing the workflow as a consistency tool for slow periods (cites her own maternity leave), explicitly warns it is not a growth strategy, and signs off.
Atomic Insights
Lines worth screenshotting.
Canva now connects natively inside Claude's account settings, replacing the manual copy-paste workflow between the two tools that existed two years ago.
A Claude Project stores brand voice, audience, and goals permanently, so a creator never has to re-explain their brand inside a new chat.
Locking Canva template elements — not just leaving them alone — is what actually prevents an AI edit from overwriting logos or brand typography.
Saving a customized design as a Brand Template, not a regular file, lets Claude duplicate it instead of editing the master, keeping the original safe indefinitely.
One prompt can turn a list of 20 AI-generated quotes into 20 finished Canva graphics by pointing Claude at a labeled template already stored in the brand kit.
Canva's bulk-create/data-merge feature can batch dozens of near-identical short videos from a spreadsheet, even though AI can't yet edit the video content directly.
As of this recording, Claude and Canva together still cannot insert or sync text inside moving video — automation only covers static overlay content.
Batch content is explicitly framed as a consistency tool for slow periods, like a maternity leave, not a growth strategy — the creator says not to expect it to perform well.
Giving an AI a numbered slide structure (hook, pain point, tips, CTA) up front produces a usable carousel outline in a single prompt instead of several revision rounds.
Three posts a week for three months is roughly 36+ pieces of batched content — a concrete benchmark for how far this system needs to scale to fill a real content gap.
Takeaway
A Repeatable System, Not a Growth Hack
AI CONTENT SYSTEM
Batch-producing content with AI only works cleanly once your brand kit, project instructions, and templates are built and locked -- the payoff is consistency, not virality.
02Step 1: Connect Claude + Canva
Canva now has a native connector inside Claude's settings, so pairing the two tools takes one authorization step instead of manual copy-paste between apps.
Give the integration full permissions upfront -- partial access means Claude can't actually create or edit designs on your behalf later.
03Step 2: Set up a Claude Project
A Claude Project is a folder of chats with persistent, reusable instructions, so you only have to teach the AI your brand voice, audience, and goals once per platform.
Naming the project after your brand and target platform, not a generic title, keeps multiple content strategies from bleeding into each other.
If you post to more than one platform, build a separate project per platform rather than one project trying to cover everything at once.
05Step 3: Build the Canva Brand Kit
The brand kit -- colors, fonts, logo, brand voice notes, photos -- is the single source Claude pulls from, so skipping it produces content that looks generic instead of on-brand.
Paying for brand-kit setup (Canva Pro) is treated as worth it specifically because it's the input-quality ceiling for every AI-generated design that follows it.
06Step 4: Create branded templates
Every reusable field in a template needs an explicit label, like 'main heading' or 'hook text', so Claude knows exactly what content goes where instead of guessing.
Elements you never want Claude to touch, like logos or decorative type, should be locked in Canva, not just left alone, or an AI edit can silently overwrite them.
Saving a customized design as a brand template, not a regular file, is what makes it reusable -- Claude duplicates the template instead of editing the master.
07Batch: single-image motivational quotes
Asking an AI for a list of ideas first, then applying them to a template in a second step, produces more reviewable output than asking for finished designs directly.
Batch content still needs a human filter pass -- reviewing generated quotes for brand voice is what keeps 20 posts from sounding identical and generic.
08Batch: carousels
Giving the AI an explicit slide-by-slide structure, like hook, pain point, tips, CTA, produces a usable outline in one pass instead of several rounds of revision.
09Batch: reels
As of this recording, AI tools can't yet edit video or place synced text inside a moving clip -- automation only works for static, single-line overlay content.
Glossary
Terms worth knowing.
Claude Project
A folder inside Claude that groups related chats and carries permanent custom instructions, so the AI reuses context like brand voice instead of needing it retyped every session.
Canva Brand Kit
A saved set of a brand's colors, fonts, logo, voice notes, and photos inside Canva that AI tools can reference when generating new designs.
Branded Template
A Canva design saved specifically as a reusable template, rather than a regular file, so AI tools duplicate it for new content instead of editing the original.
Bulk create
A Canva feature that merges a spreadsheet of text, like a list of quotes, into a template, generating one finished design per row automatically.
Data merge
The process of connecting a data table to design fields in Canva so each row of a dataset produces its own version of a template.

00:04Two years ago, I posted this video teaching you how to come up with 200 social media posts in ten minutes using ChatGPT and Canva. But AI has advanced a lot since then. So I wanted to create an updated version.
00:16In this video, we're gonna set up Claude and Canva so that anytime you come up with a post idea, you can create it right away with one single prompt. Then I'll show you how to batch create as many pieces of content as you want in one sitting from carousels, reels, and a single image posts.
00:34As always, time stamps are below. Use them if you need them. Let's jump in.
00:38This is our coffee for today. Would you believe I'm going hot? I usually am an iced latte gal, but we're going hot with Stevia because believe it or not, I actually like Stevia.
00:50Step one is pretty simple. We want to first connect Claude and Canva. The reason I love this combination is because Claude is your, like, strategic thinker, and I feel like Claude is a little bit more advanced than ChatGPT, and then Canva is, like, your creative design.
01:04What we're going to do is come down to our account, go to settings, and under customize, you'll have connectors.
01:13This is where if you don't have any connectors already set up, you'll want to add browse connectors and make sure you search for Canva. Before you do this, you obviously want to make sure you have a Claude account already set up and a Canva account already set up. Once you add Canva, you'll be prompted by Claude to give Claude permission to fully connect to Canva.
01:34So you wanna make sure you give Claude full permissions to integrate. Once those are connected, you're going to now create a new project. So we're not really gonna start a new chat.
01:43We're actually going to go over here to projects. Projects are folders of multiple chats.
01:49That way you can stay organized and focus on the specific things that you're working on. This is such a game changer is because with Claude, you can set and write instructions for Claude to follow per project.
02:02That way Claude already knows everything that it needs to know about your personal brand before you even prompt it to create things for you. Things like your target audience, your brand voice, content pillars, your personal goals, and the type of content you want to create. So it might take you a minute to set this up with all of the right info, but once it is set up, Claude is going to work so much more efficient and in line with you and your personal brand.
02:29So here, we're going to start a new project. And to name our project, I'm gonna do my brand name and the platform that I want to be focusing on or creating content for.
02:39So in this case, let's just say Instagram. And then for the description or what you're trying to achieve, this is kind of the template that you're going to fill out.
02:51You're going to say, I'm a like, if you're a lifestyle content creator or fitness, fashion, I'm gonna say I'm a content creator coach trying to grow to 500,000 followers on Instagram in six months with reels and carousels.
03:11Create project. So now our project is here. With your project set up, now you want to upload logic for Claude to follow anytime you ask it or prompt it to create something for you.
03:23So this is where you upload basically all the logic about you and your personal brand. We're gonna go to instructions and you're going to paste a prompt that I've already created.
03:33For a lot of the prompts that I talk about in my videos, I have a free AI prompt guide. It's any sort of AI prompt content creators would need to grow and scale their personal brand.
03:46We have chattybt prompts, and there's a whole section about Claude prompts. This prompt is specifically the social media strategist prompt where you set Claude to act as your social media strategist. So this is the exact prompt that you're going to copy and paste, and you're just gonna fill everything in as much detail as possible.
04:05So this is where, yes, it might take a little bit of time, but once you fill it in once, you never have to tell Claude who you are, who your target audience is ever again. Once those instructions are set, you can create multiple projects for multiple different platforms.
04:19If you're posting to multiple platforms, ideally, if you are just starting out as a content creator and you haven't seen, like, a snowball of growth on one platform yet, then I always recommend just start with one platform, and then you could branch out after the ball is rolling somewhere. So we're just gonna focus on Instagram for today.
04:37I know we kind of breezed over the projects, but I've talked more about setting up projects and using Claude as your social media strategist before. So if you wanna learn more about that side of content creation, be sure to watch my other Claude video that I have here on my channel. If you're anything like me, learning new ways to use Claude literally just, like, brings me life.
04:57The video that I have here on my channel talks about seven different Claude hacks that I've been using to automate my work as a content creator. But if you were looking for even more Claude hacks and, like, you're just like, seven is not enough. I need more than I could use right away.
05:13I do have a free gift for you. So our friends over at HubSpot put together a free guide for anyone watching this video called 60 Claude Marketing Hacks for Marketers.
05:24Each prompt is meant to help you do this better than people who don't have it. Everything from AI first content creation to interactive dashboards that reveal market opportunities.
05:37Think of it as having a professional marketing sidekick, like, right at your fingertips.
05:43So my favorite part about this free guide is not only are they sharing 60 hacks, but they also included 10 new Claude skill prompts. So these prompts are basically projects that you can set and continue to reuse without needing to reprompt Claude over and over.
06:02There's one that I particularly like called the hook creator skill that you could use to generate scroll stopping hooks for ads, emails, or even short form content using proven copywriting frameworks.
06:17So whether you're drafting emails or planning campaigns, you can copy the prompts straight into Claude and watch the work practically do itself. Again, this is completely free.
06:29All you have to do is click the link in the description to get access. And, of course, a huge thank you to HubSpot for sponsoring this video and continuing to provide free resources for anyone who's looking to grow their marketing skills. Now let's jump into step three, and that's actually setting up your Canva.
06:49This step is the step that most people skip. Now I've seen a lot of people that make videos about how to use Claude and Canva to create hundreds of posts. And I mean, like, I had my video that I made two years ago.
07:03But here's the thing. Most of the time, the thing that I notice is that the posts that are being created are not really anything that I think my audience or any audience would like because they feel so generic. They feel so Pinterest 2015.
07:19The goal is not to create content just for the sake of creating more content and back creating a 100 videos in five seconds. We want to create content that your audience would actually want to engage with, that feels on brand for you.
07:35So that's why you don't want to skip this step. What we're going to do is we're gonna jump into Canva, and we're actually going to set up our brand kit. Now I will say the brand kit is a pro feature where you do have to pay for it, but Canva is just like it's been my go to.
07:55I've been using Canva Pro for years. I love it. I think it's absolutely worth it.
08:00And what you're going to do is within your brand kit let's go to my VSP model brand kit. You just wanna set up all the basics of your personal brand. You want to choose your brand colors of what you want, like your graphics.
08:14If you're creating carousel posts or graphics, What do you want those colors to look like? If you have specific fonts and font layering that you use, what are the fonts that you like?
08:25You could even talk a little bit about what your brand voice sounds like, pre upload photos, and so much more. This is the brand kit that Claude is going to pull from when creating our social media posts.
08:38So now that we have our brand kit done, next step, we are going to actually create some branded templates. This is how you create AI content that is, like, aesthetic.
08:52That's you. You take the time to, like, set the foundations of what a unique to you post looks like. And once you have that one template set up that you love, then Claude can take that template and apply it to any and every piece of content that you want to create after.
09:09So it does take a little bit extra time and effort, but it is so worth it. So what we're going to do is under home, we're gonna go to social media, and you're going to choose Instagram post four by five.
09:20We're gonna do this for, let's say, like, carousel post or if you just want to do, like, one image with, like, a motivational text or something, we're gonna go here. It's going to already have the dimensions and start a project for you in the proper dimensions, and then you're going to scroll through the templates and find one that you feel you could use on repeat that feels true to you and true to your personal brand.
09:44The ones with the crown is the pro feature. The ones without are free. Now I suggest making different types of brand templates.
09:54So you're gonna do one brand template that's a carousel. One brand template that's just like one quote. Another brand template that's maybe like for a reel, And then that way you have three different templates that Claude can pull from when it's ready.
10:10We're gonna click this, apply all four pages, and this is where you're going to customize and make it your own.
10:17You're gonna make sure the font is your font. Once you have your font, be sure to apply to all. That's this highlight color is not really on brand for me, so we're gonna do we'll do that.
10:33And then you get to customizing. Let me show you one of my templates that I have. So let's go to my branded templates.
10:42This is the carousel template. Let's open it up.
10:47Okay. So this is my carousel template. As you create your carousel template, this is what you're going to do.
10:53You're going to label what Claude needs to put everywhere. So this is like my main heading.
11:00And so I'm telling Claude, hey. This is the main heading and the hook text of the carousel will go here. Same thing.
11:07I just say subheading of the carousel, swipe right for more. Anything that you don't really want to change or you want Claude to change, you're just going to select it and make sure it's locked. Here, we're going to lock.
11:21And now we're this one piece of font, like Canvas. Now this font or this text, Claude's never gonna touch it. So, like, all of these here, I can make sure it's locked.
11:32This, I can make sure it's locked. And then for the other pieces, this one is heading text. This is like a short paragraph.
11:40For the rest, we have, like, step or number. So this is usually, like, five steps or whatever steps creators need to do the the the the the the the and Claude will just fill in the rest.
11:50And then I have my CTA at the very end. When you're done, you'll want to be intentional with what you're saving the template as or the project name.
12:01So this is IMM Instagram carousel templates number one. I'm going to press share, and you could save it as a brand template.
12:09That way it gets added directly to your brand kit. So if I go here to my brand kit, boop, and I have my brand templates, these are the templates that Claude will be using and making copies of when creating content for me.
12:22Like I said, I have one for, like, a swipe carousel. There's also one that is just a, like, motivational text, one slide, like a one post, a one picture, a one slide post where it's just like one what am I trying to say?
12:39It's just one image. There we go. It's one image with like a motivational quote.
12:45I have like a reels template, which we'll talk about the video reels because they're not quite there. Canva and Claude are not quite there when it comes to like video reels, but we'll talk about that in a bit. So you're creating your brand templates.
12:56You have a carousel one with the proper labels. Right, on brand for you, and then you have, like, a motivational quote that's just, one image. Let's say it's in your branding, in your fonts, everything's ready there.
13:07If you've learned something new so far, be sure to give this video a thumbs up. And if you learn two new things by the end of video, consider subscribing since that's a free way to support me and my channel and allows me to continue to create free content like this for you every single week. Now let's move on to our next step because this is where things get kinda crazy.
13:26We're gonna actually start creating content. And when you prompt Claude, there's a bajillion ways you could do this. So I think we'll just take it like one thing at a time.
13:34Let's say you want to batch create a bunch of these, like, motivational single image posts.
13:43Let's say you wanna batch create those. You wanna do 20. You wanna do 25.
13:47You wanna do a 100. It doesn't matter. You wanna batch create some.
13:50What you're going to do is we're gonna ask Claude to help us come up with these motivational quotes. So first, we're gonna say, give me a list of 20 motivational quotes for aspiring content creators and entrepreneurs.
14:10Boom. Now if we're asking for a list of 20 motivational quotes in our brand template, I'm gonna edit my template and I'm gonna make sure I have 20 standalone images. So if I just have one template here, there's just one.
14:23I'm gonna do this view. We're gonna add 20 pages. We're just gonna duplicate this 20 times.
14:29Or keyboard shortcut is window d or command d. We're gonna make 20 blank pages for Claude.
14:37Perfect. And now we're just gonna update these changes. Should be good to go.
14:42Your job is to go through all 20 of these quotes and make sure they sound like you. Make sure it's something you would say. Make sure it's you.
14:50It's your brand voice. And when you have 20 that you like, you're gonna say, could you use my insert brand kit in Canva and create a design for each of these quotes using the insert the name of the template, motivational quote sample template in my brand templates folder.
15:10There are 20 slides in that template, so it should be enough for all of the quotes. So I'm just pretending all of these are perfect right now. If I had gone through and customized it, I would list out all updated 20 quotes here.
15:24But for sake of time, we're just gonna say these are perfect. I'm going to send this off to Claude and take a sip of coffee.
15:34Because this template is in the brand's template folder, Claude will not be actually editing our template so we could continue to reuse this. Claude created a copy.
15:44So when Claude is done, literally, all of our stuff will be linked here. So we just press open link and boom, ShakaLaka.
15:53We have all 20 motivational quotes already created by Claude. Okay. Now what about what about carousels?
16:02Let's do carousels. So I with my carousel, it is, I believe, five tips.
16:08It's one, two, three, four, five call to action. So I'm gonna ask Claude, can you create 30 educational carousel ideas for me?
16:23Each idea needs to be in a five step or five tips or five tools format because that's what my template is in.
16:37Now again, there's a million different ways you could go about this. You could take one idea at a time and create one carousel at a time. Or if you're feeling real crazy and you want to outline 20 different carousel posts in one sitting, you could and then have Claude create 20 carousel posts in one sitting.
16:56But Claude would just need all the information for you. Remember, we're not trying to have AI be our brains. Right?
17:03I want to still be its modern millie. If I say, okay. Here is five tips to grow your first 1,000 followers.
17:09I want those tips to come from me. So we're gonna follow like a prompt like this. So let's say you do need help coming up with your five tips.
17:18You could do something like this where you say, let's start working on number 13. Help me turn this idea into a rough carousel. And then you're gonna give Claude the outline of your carousel template.
17:29So you're gonna say slide one, bold hook with a subheading. Slide two, introduce the pain point or interesting statistic.
17:39Keep it short. Slide three through seven, those are the tips. And then final slide is the call to action.
17:45So let's do this one. When you're happy, can say, can you reference my VSP model brand kit and use the IMM Instagram?
18:08Now we're just gonna ask Claude to turn this into our carousel, and Claude's gonna get going. Now like I said, you could do this and you could batch create, like, 20 or 30 carousels at once.
18:19I think the easiest way to do that is in Google Docs. So here, let's just create a Google Doc. We're going to take all of these.
18:36One using the headings. We're gonna separate out each of the ideas.
18:44You're gonna outline each and carousel or have Claude help you outline each and every carousel. When you're done, you're gonna press file and download. Then you'll upload the doc directly to Claude and say, use my brand kit and turn all of these carousel posts into carousel posts in Canva.
19:00It's gonna take a lot longer. Claude is gonna take a lot longer to do that, but it's possible. And that's how you could just batch create a bunch of carousels in one setting.
19:08So let's go back to our carousel and see what Claude has done for us. You don't need a 100 followers to land brand deals. Here are the five steps that actually work.
19:22And then you could go in and customize. Now I did say I would touch on reels or short form video. And right now, even if you set up a reel as a brand template, for example, I have this reel and it's set up properly.
19:37Right? Heading and hook text, catchy subheading. It's set up the right way that we would do for carousels.
19:44Claude currently doesn't have the logic to plug in text and edit the video. I think that's coming. It doesn't have it right now.
19:53But one thing that you could do, and it's the similar tip to what I did in my other video, and this only works right now if you're just putting, like, one line on your reel, like, a motivational quote or, like, one tip or one thing. You know, the videos where it's, like, b roll with, like, a seven second video b roll text and trending music.
20:13This could work for batch creating a bunch of those. So let's go to social media. Let's create TikTok video.
20:20We're gonna use this template because it's, like, exactly what we're looking for. I'm not gonna worry about the video in the background yet because I think I'll change the video per piece of content. But, I mean, you could change the font, whatever.
20:34Same thing. Update as you need. What we're going to do to create a bunch of reels, let's go back to those motivational quotes.
20:42Let's use these motivational quotes. Now we're gonna go to apps, and we're going to bulk create.
20:51We're gonna enter data manually. Let's clear the table off. And let's just paste all of our quotes.
20:57This is gonna be, like, each of our videos. So we have all of our videos or each quote per video. We're gonna press done, Then we're going to connect the data.
21:07So we wanna connect our quote with where the quote should go in Canva. So I'm gonna go more, press connect data, and now we'll continue.
21:16So we're gonna apply this, and we're gonna create 20 separate designs to make 20 different reels. View design. So now we have 20 different videos.
21:24What I would do is go in and, like, customize, add b roll specifically for that quote. And what you could do, like, before you make a bunch of copies, I probably should have done this on the last step, but I would get rid of the audio, and I would make sure the video length is seven seconds.
21:40So that way before you bulk create, you just have a bunch of seven second videos that were bulk created at once. So technically, if you follow all these steps, you can create unlimited pieces of content because you could batch create, like, 20 motivational quotes or even a 100 motivational quotes in one sitting.
21:57You could batch create 50 carousels in one sitting.
22:01You could even batch create simple reels in one sitting. Now let me just say, just because you could batch create a bunch of content in one sitting, that doesn't mean that content is going to perform well.
22:13I feel like this strategy is not to be used with the expectation that you will see growth from it. I would only use this if I needed to just put things up or, like, fill in space. So for example, when I took my maternity leave and I was not creating for three months, this is the type of, like, filler content that I would post just to post, just to tell the algorithm I'm being consistent without expectations of it performing well.
22:43So maybe one week, it would be like Monday is the motivational quote. Wednesday is the real, and then Friday is the carousel. Right?
22:50And then if I did that for three months, that's twelve to fifteen weeks of content, three posts per week, that's anywhere between 36 and, I don't know, math. That's more than 36 posts. That is the type of situation that I would use this for.
23:05I wouldn't use this as, like, a way to try to shortcut your way to fast growth because this isn't a growth strategy. This is simply a strategy that you can use to maintain your presence on social media.
23:17So just wanna properly set those expectations there. If you wanna hear about any more Claude hacks or if you have any follow-up questions about this process, just let me know down in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.
Two years ago this creator's ChatGPT-plus-Canva batching video was the reference point; this is the 2026 rebuild with Claude, and it spends most of its runtime on the unglamorous setup work — brand kit, locked templates, project instructions — that has to exist before any one-prompt batching actually works.
