The hook never leaves the screen. You cannot absorb it live. That is the design: the friction is the call to action, and the caption says it plainly — "You might want to save this."

WHAT TO LEARN
A list delivered faster than anyone can absorb it converts the watch into a save, and a promise pinned on screen for the full run keeps every mid-scroll viewer oriented.
- Pin the promise as a fixed on-screen banner so a viewer who lands mid-video instantly knows what they are watching and why to stay.
- Deliver dense reference content faster than it can be consumed live, so the natural response is to pause, save, and rewatch — all signals the algorithm rewards.
- State the desired action in the caption when the format implies it; here 'You might want to save this' names the save instead of hoping for it.
- Show each item running as a small example rather than just naming it, so a list reads as a demonstrated menu instead of an unproven claim.
- Keep the whole piece in one continuous take and add labels and example overlays in post, so a twenty-item video costs one short shoot plus editing.
