Big Idea
The argument in one line.
Posting unscripted, unedited content multiple times a day turns familiarity into buyer trust, and the highest-converting ideas come from real client conversations, not from sitting down to brainstorm.
Who This Is For
Read if. Skip if.
READ IF YOU ARE…
A service-based founder or coach with real client conversations happening every week who can turn those calls into content ideas.
Someone using production quality or scripting as an excuse not to post consistently.
A solo operator weighing whether to hire a sales team versus staying a one-person inbound business.
Anyone running paid ads who wants a free organic testing ground for new angles before spending money on them.
SKIP IF…
You're looking for a scripted, highly produced content system. This is the opposite: raw, unedited, high-volume talking-head video.
You don't have an existing base of clients or calls to mine for content ideas yet.
TL;DR
The full version, fast.
A coach who has helped run over $100 million in ad spend for clients took a 6-month break, then came back posting three unscripted Instagram reels a day and three YouTube videos a week for 30 days, no editing, no sales team, and mostly paused ads. Volume itself became the strategy: ideas came from actual client calls instead of brainstorming, and posts he doubted before publishing outperformed the ones he felt confident about. He landed 17 new inbound clients and his best month of the year, driven by familiarity rather than going viral. His conclusion: dollars matter more than views, and organic posts double as free ad-creative tests before spending money.

02 · What Yapmaxxing actually is
Defines the format: pick a topic, hit record on a phone, post unedited.
00:54 – 02:31
03 · Backstory: burnout and reset
Six months semi-retired traveling, one webinar launch, then a decision to hammer volume after burning out.
02:31 – 04:07
04 · The strategy: volume over production
Optimizing inputs over polish, dialing ads down to mostly retargeting to isolate the organic effect.
04:07 – 07:36
05 · The Instagram numbers
Inputs (90 reels, 12 YouTube videos) and outputs: ~700K views, engagement breakdown, follower growth and churn.
07:36 – 10:00
06 · The business numbers
Zero team, 100% inbound, 17 new clients, biggest month of the year, contrasted with a client posting 12 reels a day.
10:00 – 13:49
07 · Ideation without overthinking
Ideas come from being in the trenches with clients; a fixed quota removes overthinking; doubted videos performed best.
13:49 – 17:03
08 · Familiarity bias
A psychology-class concept applied to content: repeated exposure builds trust and buying likelihood.
17:03 – 20:16
09 · Pairing content with ads and lead capture
Combining Yapmaxxing with ads and a sales team, comment-triggered lead magnets, and why dollars beat views and likes.
20:16 – 23:26
10 · Ad testing and wrap-up
Using organic posts as a free ad-creative testing pipeline, then closing thoughts and a call to action.
Atomic Insights
Lines worth screenshotting.
Posting three reels a day for 30 days landed 17 new inbound clients with zero sales team and zero outbound DMs.
The videos a creator doubts the most before posting often outperform the ones they're confident about.
Ideas for daily content come from real client calls, not brainstorming sessions. The trenches are the idea engine.
Familiarity bias means someone is more likely to buy from you the more often they see your face, independent of production quality.
A YouTube channel with only 242 subscribers can still produce a $50,000 launch if the few viewers are the right buyers.
Removing the option to overthink whether to post, by setting a fixed daily quota, forces content ideas to surface faster.
Business-model breakdown videos, like showing a friend making $80K a month off a $37 offer, outperform generic advice because they show the viewer a path they didn't know existed.
Organic posts double as a free ad-testing pipeline: whatever performs organically without spend is proven creative worth boosting.
Comment-triggered lead magnets, where commenting a keyword triggers an automated DM, convert casual viewers into an email list without extra ad spend.
Turning off high production value can increase authenticity and conversion for personal-brand-driven offers.
Takeaway
Consistency and familiarity beat polish every time.
VOLUME OVER POLISH
Posting daily without overthinking production turns familiarity into trust, and the best content ideas come from real client conversations rather than brainstorming in isolation.
02What Yapmaxxing actually is
Yapmaxxing means picking one topic, hitting record on your phone, and posting the take with zero editing. The roughness is the point, not a flaw to fix.
Skipping editing removes the biggest bottleneck to posting daily, since production time is usually what caps how often people publish.
03Backstory: burnout and reset
Taking real time off before a volume push, six months in this case, helps prevent burnout rather than trying to sustain constant output indefinitely.
A single successful launch or good month doesn't mean the system is finished; revenue can drop fast when content and outreach stop.
04The strategy: volume over production
Choosing volume over polish is a deliberate bet: more attempts on the input side lets the output side, leads and sales, take care of itself.
Feeling like you have to perform or 'act' for the camera is a signal the format doesn't fit you. Raw and unscripted can convert just as well.
05The Instagram numbers
A large share of views and interactions coming from non-followers means content is successfully reaching new audience, not just recirculating existing fans.
Follower churn, gaining hundreds while losing hundreds of others, is a normal side effect of posting personality-driven content daily, not a warning sign.
06The business numbers
Zero team, zero setters, and zero outbound DMs is possible at six figures a year when content volume replaces outbound sales activity.
Posting more than a competitor, three reels a day versus their twelve, is itself a lever. Output volume is a controllable input, not a fixed trait.
07Ideation without overthinking
The best source of daily content ideas is live client conversations and calls, not sitting down to brainstorm topics from scratch.
A fixed daily posting quota removes the option to overthink whether something is worth posting, which speeds up idea generation over time.
The videos a creator is least confident about posting are frequently the ones that perform best, so self-doubt is a poor filter for what to publish.
08Familiarity bias
People are more likely to buy from someone once they've seen that person's face repeatedly, independent of the depth or polish of any single piece of content.
Business-model breakdown videos, showing a specific real example of an unfamiliar way to make money, outperform generic advice because they give the viewer a concrete, unexpected path.
09Pairing content with ads and lead capture
Organic content plus paid ads plus a sales team compounds; running only organic content is a deliberate trade of maximum revenue for lower overhead and simplicity.
A comment-triggered automation that DMs a lead magnet turns a short video into an email list builder without any additional ad spend.
Dollars generated matter more than views or likes as a success metric. A video with modest view counts can still be the most profitable one made that month.
10Ad testing and wrap-up
Posting organically first is a free way to test new ad angles, hooks, and formats before spending money on media buying.
A lightweight, no-edit production pipeline, minutes from idea to published post, is what makes a multiple-times-a-day posting cadence sustainable long-term.

i tried yap maxing for 30 days in this video i'm going to break down everything that i learned from it i'm going to break down kind of why i started it what i actually did what my inputs were what the results were and about 10 of my biggest lessons and insights and takeaways towards the end of this video so let's get into it my name is jeremy i help online coaches scale with ads and a whole lot of other stuff cons have done over 100 mil in the space so this ain't my first rodeo now let's Get into it.
So what is Yap Maxing? Basically, it's you pick up your iPhone 13 with a scratched screen protector like mine, and you just hit record and you just yap. You just have a specific topic and idea, and then you just talk about it.
And then you post it without editing it at all. And you just slap a little thing on top. And then that's that.
And I have another video I made, The Art of Yap Maxing, where I break down all the tactics and everything. And so after this one, you should go check that one out too, if you want to learn how to actually do it properly. Now.
Why did I do this? Well, for the last like, well, up until last month, I basically like took like six months off. It was like the off season, little semi retirement.
I spent a month in Europe, like Croatia, Portugal, and London. And then I got a cabin in the Rocky Mountains near Banff, Alberta for a month as well. Then I launched like a new offer in December, did one webinar, did like 70K.
And I was like, cool, I'm chilling. Stacked like 20K a month recurring. And then I took off to Costa Rica.
for two months in January, February. Then I went to Europe for a ski trip in Switzerland and France. And then I got home.
I was like, okay, it's time to lock in. And so I stopped posting content for most of the time I was away. People couldn't book in a sales call with me.
I just needed to really, I got super burnt out, needed to really recharge. And so when I got back April 1st, I was like, I want to actually like really aggressively attack this and hammer my way back into things to ramp things up. And so I, took the side of i want to optimize for volume over luck and so i figured if i can just like do more and do as much as i can in terms of the inputs the outputs will take care of themselves and i don't like high production or like post -production stuff because i find it's inauthentic for me i feel like i need to act and kind of dance like a monkey on camera and it's just not cool for me i don't like it i'd rather just i like yapping it's good it's just raw it's real and there's no bs there's no fluff and i actually turn my ads way down as well i'm pretty much mainly running retargeting ads right now um i do still have maybe like 100 bucks a day or something like that just some super chill with like um some top of funnel ads as well and those are doing they're just consistent it's just a good consistent slow burn but again i haven't been uh hammering it too hard i wanted to really kind of create room to see
the effect of the app maxing here as well so a lot of these stats that i'll show you um are going to be mostly from the organic side of things and no don't get me wrong i'm not going to be an organic marketing coach solely right obviously you need both in order to make a lot of money ads and organic when they are paired together that is what has helped my clients do over 100 mil and so yeah let's go so the inputs i did three reels a day so about 90 reels over course of 30 days.
And I also paired that with three YouTube videos a week. And like I said, before April, I didn't do hardly anything at all. Maybe like a few a month kind of thing.
Just really just needed to chill. So let's, let's look at the outputs. So here's some stats from Instagram account, um, in terms of engagement followers, whatever.
So views, I got almost like 700 ,000 in total. And you can see like 30 % was from ads and, um, most of it was from non -followers, which is cool, which means it's pushing my stuff to, um, to a new audience.
Right. And that's pretty sweet. And then if we go to interactions, same kind of thing, way more interactions, just from, um, followers, you can see rather than non -followers and most of it's from organic, not ads.
And so it kind of flip flops there. And then, um, obviously mostly reels and then interactions, a lot of that stuff as well.
Now, followers, I finally cracked 50K, which is dope. I got 900 followers, 700 people unfollowed, probably because they got sick and tired of seeing my face every time they opened their phone. And we'll get into this in a minute.
But yeah, in terms of the business stats and all that kind of stuff, before we get into the lessons and the takeaways, which will be kind of the main chunk of the video, I have zero team. Well, I have an assistant. I pay her like two hours a week.
And she just runs my email. She's not logged into my Instagram account at all. Nobody is.
I have zero setters, zero sales team, zero nothing. And I sent zero outbound DMs. Now I put kind of dumb because like this might be kind of dumb.
I'll get into this in one of the lessons here too. But like if I paired this with like running like an actual sales team and like trying to just like really, really crank things, then like that would be insane. I'd be a much richer man.
And I'm at the stage right now where it's like, it's not so much about the money. It's more so just be like, I'm just like curious. And like, it's like the challenge.
It's like, can I do a hundred K a month purely inbound as a one man show? That's what I'm optimizing for right now. That's my goal.
And so I think that would be really sick to do. And I don't want to have a team or anything like that right now in this season for this type of business. So the cool thing is like, I keep it all, which is dope.
So yeah, a hundred percent inbound people messaging me first. And I got about 17 new inbound clients. And so a handful of these are like actual clients that joined my program where we're working super hands -on and super in depth together.
And then also a handful of these are just one -off one -on -one calls that I sold as well. And so that's obviously a little bit inflated. Like if this was like a five or 10 K program or something like that.
then the numbers would be much, much higher. But yeah, like I said, a really good chunk of this is just those one -off one -on -one calls as well. And then a bunch of those people actually did upsell and ascend into the program.
So I was like, hey, I'll just take whatever you paid off of the price and let's actually work together and build this out. But I actually didn't pitch on any of the calls. People came back, messaged me after saying how good and valuable it was and like asked me.
How can I, like, how can we work together? So that was pretty cool. With that said, hit the biggest month this year so far, which is sweet.
It makes a lot of sense because I, like I said, pretty much took the first three months of the year off in Costa Rica. I had, like, two calls a week. And, like, it was amazing.
And just ripping ATVs through the jungle and surfing. And the last thing I wanted to think about was work. And it was great.
yeah it hit a big month which again not surprising um but let's get into the lessons i got like 10 of them here um give or take but it was easier than i thought it was going to be and so before i started this i kind of like thought about it for like a week i was like man imagine if i just did that i'm like that would be kind of crazy it'd be kind of cool um but like how am i going to come up with this many ideas to post three pieces of content a day or three youtube videos a week like it seems like a lot like i don't know if i have I don't know if I have three thoughts in my brain per day that's a little steep.
And I was overthinking it. But then once I actually made the commitment, I said, you know what? Fuck it.
Let's go. Let's dance. And decided to do it.
Then it became way easier than I thought. Yeah, there was a couple days where I was like, oh man, I really don't want to do this. On like a Saturday or Sunday when I had other plans, when I was like away or like hanging out with someone.
It was a little tricky. So a couple of them, I just did like B -roll reels and just like kind of got a little lazy with it for like one or maybe two days. I'm not sure, but the rest were like actually pretty solid.
And then I would just schedule out some posts too for days where I knew I'd be pretty inactive. So that made it a lot easier. And then I had a handful of clients who also joined me.
We made a private channel in my Slack community called Yap Maxing. And like two weeks in, one of them goes... signed a 10k pif pure inbound and like yeah so client like all of my clients who started doing this have also just been absolutely ripping and just have seen like insane results and so it's pretty straightforward right um i i had a call like one of my one -off one -on -one calls that i had with someone he told me he's like yeah so i'm doing about 100 grand a month right now i want to get up to 250 300k And I don't know what to do.
And so I was walking him through that because yeah, like I, before kind of being a one man show and take my little retirement there, I scaled to, um, my biggest month was $286 ,000, uh, last March and it was sweet. And so I was like, Hey, here's what we did. Here's what, here's what you need to do.
But he was posting 12 reels a day already. And I was like, damn. That's four times what I was doing.
I was like, okay, there's levels to this game. And so it really just depends on how bad that you want it. Right.
But anyways, in terms of ideation, like how do you actually come with ideas for posting multiple times a day, every single day? And the conclusion that I came to is like, you have to actually do shit and just be in the trenches to get good ideas that are unique. That's how you become a thought leader and an authority in your niche.
And what I mean by that is. Most of the ideas for content that I would create came from conversations that I had that day, whether it was with clients, those one -off, one -on -one calls, or even just like, yeah, seeing stuff in the industry that I think is kind of BS and then talking about it. And as a result, I'm talking about things that people are actually experiencing, problems that they have right now, and solutions that I'm helping them with.
So let's say, for example, I'm on a call with somebody. And they are like, hey, here's what I need help with. Like, I don't know how to do this.
Perfect. There's an idea for a reel. If one of my clients has this problem, then that means there's going to be tons of people in my audience who also have this problem too.
And so the key here is you have to be unique. You have to share your own unique perspective on things. And perspective only comes from experience.
You can't gain perspective that's unique without actually... going through it and doing it yourself. And so if you have no experience, then like go get that first and then document it as well as you go.
And the more experience you get, the more time in the trenches, then the better you get. It's like bench press, right? The more time you spend under the bar and the heavier weight you lift, the stronger you're going to be because the bigger your muscles will grow.
I also didn't have the luxury to overthink whether or not to post something. I just did it. because I was like, well, I have to post three times today.
It was just a non -negotiable. I just set that standard for myself. I don't have another option.
And as a result, guess what? I came up with the ideas. My mind spawned in these ideas and they just came to me and I was like, sweet, that's much easier than I thought it was going to be.
And so before I would overthink things, I would think, ah, well, maybe I won't post that or this one might not do super well. The videos that I didn't really think were going to do well. did the best it's ironic it's like the opposite and so it was really cool to just kind of force myself to have to show up and have to just post regardless of how i felt about it and even if i didn't feel that great about a video that i just recorded then i would just record another version of it and try to just like condense it and make it a little bit more clear and then i would just like upload that one and so like Most of the time I would just want to take things, but then sometimes if I was like, ah, it's a little clunky and whatnot, then I would just like retake it and then go from there.
And then that's how you can kind of get better at it, make it a little bit more engaging and stuff like that too. You can also look at your analytics to see which specific videos did the best and which specific topics did the best and then just make more videos on that. So for example, on the idea or on the topic of topics, I explore different topics, right?
And so I made a couple of videos about like how to quit porn. And those ones absolutely popped because that was a huge one for me. Like once I let go of that vice, then my entire life changed.
And I also made one about like kind of just trolling and yapping in your content, not taking it so seriously. That popped off as well. Solo maxing and one man show.
Again, people really like that right now because a lot of people are feeling the pain of low margins, high stress, just like I was. And business model breakdowns, these ones crushed where I'd be like, here's my buddy who's doing $80 ,000 a month from a $37 a month low ticket offer. Or like, here's my buddy who's doing 1 .1 million a month with only six people on his team and 70 % plus margins.
And like, those ones are crazy because it just shows people like, oh, there's other ways to do this that are different from what I'm currently doing right now. And I can actually do it because it gives them the light at the end of the tunnel. It gives them some hope.
and just a different perspective again it's really cool and another insight here is like the more people know you like you and trust you the more likely are they are to buy from you and i got a four -year i did my four -year sentence at university and got a business degree and the only thing i remember from that was a psychology class in first year where we learned about like the familiarity bias which basically means like the context that they use is like if you want to ask a girl out she's going to be way more likely to say yes to you if she sees you at the gym at the same time every day, every morning for like a few weeks or a month.
Or like if you live in the same building, you always pass each other in the hallway or you have the same class together, whatever. It's like she's seen you before. So as a result, you're not like this new threat or stranger.
You're more familiar to her. So she's more likely to trust you and say yes to going out with you. And so I was like, okay, cool.
Exact same thing in business, right? The more that they see me, the more that they hear me, the more that they watch my content, the more likely they are going to be to say yes to me or to approach me in the first place.
And so the more familiar somebody is with you, the more they know you, like you trust you. And that's why posting multiple times a day really helps with that because like a massive chunk of the people who actually signed up with me and paid me money last month, like verbally told me. explicitly, dude, I just can't stop seeing your face every time I open my Instagram account.
And one of them literally said, he's like, yeah, man, like this was a client that actually signed up. He's like, bro, he's like, I've been following you for like two years. And like, I decided to like, just buy now because I can't stop seeing your face and you're just everywhere.
I was like, cool. That's dope. It's great feedback.
I'm just going to double down and do more of that. Another cool thing is I'm consistently getting highly qualified leads and massive accounts following me literally every day right now. Getting ideal clients for free, right?
That's because again, if you want that art of yap maxing video, it's probably a few videos back in my channel right now. Just go find it and watch that one after this. Very good video because I break down how to actually do this because it's one thing to go like viral and just get like creatures from the depths of the internet following you.
And they have zero pain, money, or intent. And it's another thing to kind of go niche viral to get highly qualified leads come into you based on what you actually make the videos on. And the topic is extremely, extremely important.
The topic, the title, all that. And so, again, that Art of Yap Maxing video goes into that. And then, yeah.
So, anyways. pair Yap magazine with ads and a setter slash sales team, and you are going to rip very hard. And so this is what I meant up here by like kind of dumb.
I was like, well, I don't have a team. I don't have anything right now. Like, yeah, that might be kind of dumb because I think I am leaving a lot of money on the table.
But again, that's not really what I'm optimizing for because I know I can hit a hundred K a month with a team. I've done that. I did that for like three years.
I've held like 20. 25 people do that as well and like it's it's pretty straightforward and easy for me right now and so i'm like it doesn't excite me i don't know maybe i'm just a little retarded and i hate money i'm not sure maybe that's a belief i need to work on and something i need to unwire but for me it's more about the challenge right now it's just like all right how can i hit 100k a month net profit as one man show simple easy all right so um yeah but yeah if you do this with ads and with like setter and sales team so as top of funnel and retarding you were going to make a disgusting amount of money um another thing too comment called actions ripped hard as well and so what i mean by this is make a video on a piece of like on a specific topic and then have some sort of lead magnet or youtube video that goes much further in depth so it's like hey i just like i did yeah maxing for 30 days and i got 17 new clients from it hit like record month this year blah blah blah if you want to learn the top 10 takeaways that i learned from doing this comment the word yeah maxine below and i'll send you over the full 20 minute youtube video breaking it down and so then i just set up a mini chat automation that sends them the link to the youtube video ask for their email and then send to youtube and then you can build an email list and stuff like that too
um another lesson here dollars are more important than views and likes and so you can see like through the stats here it's like i didn't get many likes i didn't get many views like realistically it's like 700 000 it's like that's not a lot right and like you know 12 000 irrationally that's not a lot either and so a lot of my videos i mean i'll pull it up here like a lot of my videos didn't get that many didn't get that much traction and some of them like like most of them would get like two to three thousand views something like that um this one yesterday got 11 .5k this one got 10 .5k and um got a lot of both of these got a lot of new followers which is sweet i'll probably end up running them as ads but uh yeah you can see it's like 2 000 views 1 000 3 000 like really nothing crazy but again it kind of depends on the topic like this one got 7 000 so talking about a business model um it's also a little bit different a lot of the like and then this one too talking about ai centers that one did well that got a lot of uh engagement and leads and yeah but anyways like there's not a ton and so when i first launched my youtube channel just over four years ago i made three videos a week for about six months and i only had 242 subscribers
But then I made a video saying, Hey guys, here's my new program and my offer that like is going to help me and you get to a hundred K a month. Here's everything we're going to cover. Here's what I'm going to break down.
And I launched that video. I only had 242 subs. Remember that I did $50 ,000 my first month with it.
And so my videos would get like a hundred views each, right? Like they wouldn't get many views at all yet. There were views.
from the right people who could potentially pay me thousands of dollars for my help. And as a result, things cranked. And so again, you don't need a massive audience.
You just need the right audience of buyers and provide them lots of value. And then last one, great production line for free ad testing. And so what do I mean by that?
Well, if we go here, like this video that got 6 ,000, that's a bit of an outlier. um i probably won't do that one but like maybe this one not even that one i don't think that would bring in like much intent but i would definitely like i could just boost the uh the solo maximum one i got seven thousand um i could rip the ones from just the last couple days as well right silly goose maxing and then the um eighty thousand dollar a month one as well because i know in the last few days specifically i've been getting a lot of really high quality leads And they are, yeah, just coming inbound to me from these two videos.
I'm like, okay, cool. I just got two new ads that are already proven to get the right people coming to me. And so I could just rip them and then just put money behind them so it shows some more and more people and go from there.
And so it's a great way to test new angles. So new angles, topics, ideas, hooks, et cetera, but also new creatives and formats. like just a yapping video where it's like unstructured, or it could be like, maybe you make them a little bit more polished and a little bit more scripted, put a little bit more thought into it and then go from there.
And so, yeah, it's cool. Cause then you're like, you don't have to spend money to test these ads. You can just put them up organically.
And then if they do well organically and bring in the right people, that's the key here. They have to bring in the right quality people. If they don't, then you're wasting money and you're just going to attract.
not great leads, then put money behind it, crank it and go from there. So all in all, this little experiment of mine has been fantastic. I do not plan on stopping because it has, the pros have far significantly outweighed the cons.
Posting three times a day, especially when I don't, like it literally takes me two minutes to upload the video after I record it. I get an idea, I yap about it for a minute or two. and then it takes me like two minutes to just like throw a little title on it maybe i type a description and then just let it rip and it's insane and so like each video is like maybe five to ten minutes from like idea to post and so it's very very easy but you also have to keep yourself busy because that's how you get new ideas that are going to be very useful and people are going to care about it so with that said thanks for watching if you like this kind of video let me know in the comments below And if you want to work with me to scale your coaching business, but he'll call with me down below links in the description or shoot me a DM on Instagram at Jeremy underscore Pogue.
And we can chat about what that would look like. So with that said, I'll see you in the next video. Bye.
