I've tested over 200 AI filmmaking tools, and I'm here to tell you that pretty much all of them are gimmicks that will take your money. But within that sea of slopping gimmicks, I did find five tools that are definitely worth paying attention to. These tools make content creation so much easier, and they allow you to be way more creative, allowing you to do things that you might have thought were impossible.
Things like this, like this, or changing my voice to sound like a western cowboy, or changing me into a western cowboy. Now I totally get AI is controversial. We don't view AI as a way to replace content creators or content creation jobs.
Instead, we see it as a tool that lets us work smarter and faster and create things that we couldn't do before. My goal by the end of this video is that you'll have a clear path to follow and know exactly where to focus your time and energy in the AI space. This tool is called runway. I really enjoy runway because it takes the complicated task of manually creating visual effects and makes it as easy as writing a simple prompt. For example, being able to do this effect can be done with one sentence inside of runway.
You could also do cool effects like this, like this, or like this. None of this requires any complicated video editing knowledge.
Let me show you how you can do this. First up, record a video of you doing something. For example, I wanna snap and then turn my hand on fire.
Next, I'm gonna go over to runway, and then I'm going to select tool on the sidebar over here. Then I'm going to select video on the top bar up here.
Then after that, I'm going to drag and drop my video right here. Now I'm gonna type in a prompt that I want to use right here. For this one, what I'm gonna say is the man's right hand and arm are engulfed in flames.
He is not hurt. I want to make sure gen four is selected down here, and then I'm gonna hit generate. Now to make the actual snap effect, what we're gonna do is download the video and then drag that into any video editing platform.
I'm going to use DaVinci Resolve for this tutorial, but it really doesn't matter. You can use legit what ever video editing software that you want.
Alright. With our footage inside of DaVinci Resolve, what we're gonna do is click and drag our footage with no hand on fire right here on the first video track. We're gonna click and drag our footage with the hand on fire on our second video track right here.
Now what we're gonna do is just line up these two snap points. So look for the audio right here. As we can see, we have one snap point and another snap point.
So we'll just line these up. And now we're gonna go to our fire clip, locate the snap point, and we want to remove the beginning section of this fire point and just start it on when the snap happens. So we're gonna click the beginning of the fire clip and drag this over.
And what we wanna do is just move it one or two frames after the snap. So I'm just gonna move over two frames just like that. So now if we go right here, we can see that we have the full snap and then the hand turns into fire.
And now we have something that looks like this.
And there you go. No complicated editing, just a couple cuts. Normally, these effects would take a long time to do if you tried them in a complicated editing software like After Effects.

I'll link that at the end of this one. Alright. This tool is actually one of my favorites because it helps with one of the most important parts of any great video, and that is music.
This tool is called Suno AI, and it lets you make professional sounding music with one click. To make a great video, you need great music, But finding great music can be very hard, especially finding good royalty free music. You would have to sign up for an expensive music subscription website, spend a lot of time searching for a song that you like.
But with Suno AI, you can make really high quality music in just a couple minutes. For example, try to guess which song was made by AI.
It's actually a trick question. Both of those songs were made by AI. I like Suno because it's very easy to use and works a lot like chat GPT.
All you have to do is type what type of song that you want in the prompt box, and then Suna will make that for you. Now do I think that this is going to replace musicians overnight? No.
Absolutely not. But do I think that this is a very fast way to make background music for short form content, long form content, or course content? Absolutely.
And for that reason, I think that you should give it a try. Let me show you a little bit more about the software. There are two modes that you can use, simple and custom.
Simple mode is very simple. For example, you can type make a song about surfing at the beach, and Suno will make a song about surfing at the beach. I'm surfing
at the beach.
Another cool feature in Suno is the custom mode. This lets you write your own lyrics and choose what type of music style you want. For example, if I were a real estate agent trying to sell a house, I could write lyrics about the home and then pick a beat for that song.
For example, let's try 123 South Boulevard, a nice home with a big yard.
Sunlight hits the windows so hard, every room feels bright from the start. The front gate stands tall and guarded, opening paths that split apart.
I don't know why this might be kinda fire. Alright. For the style, let's pick a rap beat from the two thousands.
And now let's hit generate. One,
two, three, South Boulevard, a nice home with a big yard. Sunlight hits the window so hard.
Every room feels bright from the start. The front gate stands tall and guarded, opening paths are split apart.
That was actually kinda fire. That was sick.
But, Suno, the possibilities feel endless. It's a fun tool to play with. My favorite part is you don't need to be a musician to make something that sounds great.
Alright. The next tool on the list is great. Because it allows you to change your voice to something like this.
Or even like this. This tool is called Eleven Labs. This is pretty much your one stop shop for all things audio related.
They have thousands of premade voices that you can use for voiceovers, or you can use their software to clone your own voice so your voiceovers sound exactly like you. Check out this clone that I did of my own voice.
Hey. This is Connor's voice clone from eleven Labs. Pretty wild, and it can be really useful if you ever need to use your own voice for something.
Eleven Labs has a huge lineup of products. Some of my favorites are voice changer, which allows you to take the audio from one clip and change it into a different voice. This is how I sound normally.
And this is how I sound after the voice changer. Another one that I like is text to speech. This lets you type out your own words, then choose a voice, and then the AI will turn that text into a realistic human voice.
I made this voice in 11 labs. This can also be done with your own voice. They also have sound effects, which allow you to type out a sound, then the AI will create a sound effect for you.
Another tool that they have that I think is really cool is their dubbing feature. This allows you to change your voice into any language, which could be really helpful if you're trying to reach a new audience on social media. For example, I could change my English video to be Spanish.
I don't speak Spanish, so I have no idea what I just said, but nonetheless, pretty cool. The next tool on the list will allow you to create just about anything you can imagine, and that is Higgs Field AI.
Think of Higgs Field as a creative control center. It brings all of the top AI models into one centralized platform so you don't need to jump between different accounts and subscriptions. Instead of paying for several different sites, you can access pretty much every AI tool under one subscription.
It's kinda like having one Netflix account that gives you access to content from multiple streaming platforms all in one place. Higgs Field has tons of models that are really great.
There's three that I wanna cover in this video, starting off with number one, Nano Banana Pro. This allows you to create images and edit images. For example, if I wanted an image of me riding on a jet ski, I could upload an image of myself and then say, place the subject from image one riding on a jet ski.
And there we go. Now I'm riding on a jet ski. Now to edit the image, I could say, make the jet ski red, hit generate, and boom.
There we go. A red jet ski. It's literally that simple.
Another model that I really like is cling motion control. This model lets you copy the movement from one video and apply it to another character. So a character that you can create can move the exact same way as the original video.
For example, I recorded this video of me making all of these facial expressions and reactions. I took a screenshot of the first frame of the video, then uploaded that into nano banana pro and told it to turn me into a villain movie character. Then I took that image and added it to cling motion control as the character image.
After that, I uploaded the video that I recorded and used it as the reference video. Now I can hit generate, and then this is how it came out.
Insane. Absolutely insane. The last tool that I think is really cool in Higgs Field is the cinema studio.
This tool allows you to select a cinema camera body, lens, a focal length, and aperture to generate an image. For example, let's say I wanted to create a cinematic scene of me sitting on a park bench. First, I'll choose the camera settings.
For the camera, I'll choose the full frame cine digital camera. For the lens, I'll do the premium modern prime. And then for focal length, we'll do 50 millimeters, and then I'll set the aperture at f four.
Now I can use the prompt box down here to type what I want to happen. Let's add a reference photo of me and then ask the AI to create a realistic photo of me sitting on the park bench. After that, I can hit generate.
Boom. Just like that, we have a super cinematic shot of me sitting on the park bench. Now to turn this image into a video, I can click this toggle right here and then select video.
Choose a camera movement, for example, zoom in, and then in this prompt box, you can describe what you want to happen. I'm gonna paste in this prompt right here that I created. And next, we can hit generate.
Yeah. That's great. I honestly think that this could work really well for b roll for a documentary or if you just kinda need a quick filler shot.
One last tool that I think is definitely worth mentioning in the cinema studio is the first frame, last frame. This is a really cool tool when it comes to making visual effects. For example, let's say I wanted to make a video of me on stage, like I was a famous rock star, then I wanted a crazy explosion to go off, and then coming out of the flames or something like that, an astronaut appears.
I don't know. Something crazy like that. First, I would use the custom camera settings to generate a rock star image and an astronaut image.
Then I would put the rock star image as the first frame and then the astronaut image as the second frame. Then in the prompt box, I can type out what I want to happen. For example, a man yells, yeah.
And then a big explosion fills the screen and an astronaut appears out of the flames floating in the air. Now to generate. Yes.
Perfect. Now the one problem with Higgs Field is that it does require a subscription. And as we know, subscriptions can get expensive.
For example, one subscription on Higgs Field can cost almost $250 a month, which is a really high barrier to entry if you're just trying to experiment and learn AI content. Now I know what you might be thinking. How is DaVinci Resolve an AI tool? Well, in DaVinci Resolve Studio, they released some really epic AI tools that can massively speed up your workflow.
There are tons of tools that they released, and I'll link a deep dive video at the end of this one if you wanna explore more. But for now, I'll keep this short and show you the top three that I think are super valuable. The first tool is magic mask.
Before magic mask, you had to manually mask around the subject to cut them out of the background. Now all you have to do is select your clip and go to the fusion page, select effects, then type in magic.
You will see magic mask appear right here. Now all you have to do is click and drag that onto this yellow line. Next, go over to stroke mode, and then select the eyedropper with the plus button.
Then click and drag that around your subject. Use this button here if you want to add more to the mask and this button here if you want to subtract from the mask. After you have a good looking mask, all you have to do is hit this button right here.
That will apply a mask to the whole video. The next tool that I use all the time in DaVinci Resolve is the AI music remixer tool. This tool allows you to isolate and mute certain parts of the music track.
For example, if I really like a song, but I don't want the vocals in it, I can go over to the AI music remixer tool, toggle it on, and then select mute vocals. Alright. The last tool that I think is super helpful is the AI voice isolation tool.
This is a great tool because sometimes there's sounds that we don't want in our shot. For example, my audio sounds really good right now, but imagine if there was this random drill that came into the shot. This would totally throw off my audio, but it's saved using the AI voice isolator.
To remove unwanted background sounds, I'm going to select my footage and then go over to the audio tab. Then I'm gonna scroll down to the AI voice isolation tab and toggle this on. Now depending on how intense the background sound that you want removed is, you can move this slider up and down.
For this example, I'm just gonna keep it at 100. Totally throw off my audio, but it's saved using the AI voice isolator.
Now the reality is these tools are advancing so fast, it's honestly hard to tell which ones are actually useful and which ones are just AI gimmicks. I really believe learning the right tools is one of the fastest ways to get ahead and make real progress towards your goals. AI isn't going anywhere, and the best content creators are using it to help their content process, not replace it.
